Alive” is the latest offering from the band’s highly anticipated self-titled debut album, set to release on October 11th, 2024, through 1336 Records, Shavo’s joint label venture with Sumerian Music Group. They exploded into existence back in June with the release of their debut single 'Paradise' garnering much praise and excitement from both fans and critics alike. "Paradise" was followed by second single, the gloriously ethereal "Radiance" last month, which showcased a different side of the band's arsenal and gave a glimpse of the incredible dynamism featured on their upcoming debut full-length. "Alive" furthers the unique sonic world building of Seven Hours After Violet.

Speaking on the project's third single, Shavo shares:

"Alive" dives deep into the duality of pain and vitality, where suffering becomes a twisted reminder of existence. It’s about the dark thrill of feeling alive through intense emotions, even when they blur the line between ecstasy and despair. A haunting space where agony and empowerment collide.”

Seven Hours After Violet is an alternative metal supergroup assembled by Shavo, featuring Taylor Barber (vocalist of Left to Suffer), Morgoth (multi-platinum producer and guitarist of Winds of Plague), Alejandro Aranda (Scarypoolparty and American Idol), and Josh Johnson (drummer of Winds of Plague). The band emerged from a chance encounter between Shavo and Morgoth in early 2022 and rapidly became an unstoppable force of creativity and experimentation that evolved from a potential solo project into a full-fledged band. Their upcoming self-titled debut album is the result of some of the best, most talented minds in heavy music coming together to create something limitless and exceptional.

About Seven Hours After Violet

When the universe aligns, magic happens. This was certainly the case when Shavo Odadjian, the legendary bass player of System of a Down, crossed paths with platinum-selling producer, songwriter and guitarist, Morgoth at a party on 2.22.22. Their initial sessions were a spontaneous combustion of creativity, transforming from a potential solo venture into a full-fledged band. “We wrote a song right away. It wasn’t like any writing session I had been part of before, riffs were just flowing out of me without me even having to try. Every time I felt like I couldn't write anything. Morgoth would hand me a guitar and say, “go, go, go”. I needed that, you know? I needed someone to push me when I wasn't pushing myself. ” Shavo recalls. As music continued to pour out in torrents, with Shavo writing and performing all the guitar and bass parts and Morgoth producing and providing the beats, atmospherics and FX, Morgoth suggested they turn it into a Shavo solo project. However, with his eye now firmly set on the live arena, Shavo decided to create a full band.

Finding the right vocal talent to compliment the musical landscape created by Shavo and Morgoth was crucial. Morgoth’s recommendation of Taylor Barber from Left to Suffer was a game-changer. Shavo was blown away: “He was singing in falsetto one minute and growling the next—it was ridiculous. He became the singer because he knocked every song out of the park.” With Shavo on bass and Morgoth on guitar, the band also brought in Morthgoth’s Winds Of Plague band mate, Josh Johnson on drums and Alejandro Aranda, known for his solo project Scarypoolparty and as runner-up on American Idol, as lead guitarist and backing vocalist.

Once the new music was complete, mixed by Zach Jones and mastered by Maor Applebaum, Shavo partnered with Ash Avildsen, founder and CEO of Sumerian Music Group to create the brand new joint label venture 1336 Records, with Seven Hours After Violet being the first singing.

Robin McAuley Announces New Solo Album 'Alive' Out February 17, 2023

Famed Power Rock Vocalist

Robin McAuley

Announces New Solo Album

'Alive' Out February 17, 2023

New Single & Music Video for the Title Track,

Out Today!

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the upcoming release of legendary rock vocalist Robin McAuley's new solo album, 'Alive' on February 17, 2023.

A brand new single and music video, the title track, has been released today.

Watch the video

This new album sees McAuley's voice continuing to defy time and sounding as inspired and powerful as ever. The music itself is more hard rockin' than his previous effort, 'Standing On The Edge', but, of course, the music is still wonderfully melodic, infectious, and fist-in-the-air uplifting.

McAuley's previous solo album, 'Standing On The Edge', showcased the desire of the respected Irish rock singer to make a strong musical statement in a period that was more creative than ever for him. After reemerging on the recording side of the music industry with guest spots on Michael Schenker Fest albums and fronting the hard rock supergroup Black Swan, McAuley was (and still is) feeling invigorated and ready to explore even more creative output to let the world see that his voice was (and, again, still is) as powerful as ever.

After returning with the powerful aforementioned musical statements from Michael Schenker Fest, Black Swan, and his last solo album, McAuley and his Black Swan cohorts, guitarist Reb Beach, bassist Jeff Pilson, and drummer Matt Star, returned in early 2022 with a second album, 'Generation Mind'. That album delivered, and arguably surpassed, the promise of the band's debut and once again saw Robin's powerful vocals being showcased in a fantastic hard rock setting.

After coming off the creative spark of writing songs with Beach and Pilson for Black Swan's second effort, work for 'Alive' began in 2022 and once again, Robin's inspired vocal performance on this album is a revelation. You'll realize that 'Alive' could not be more aptly titled once you hear this glorious rock n' roll album.

Robin's backing band is the same as appeared with him on the previous effort, including guitarist Andrea Seveso, who once again absolutely stuns with his talents, bassist/keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio (who also produces once again), and drummer Nicholas Papapicco.

Pre-order / Save 'Alive' HERE

Robin McAuley is widely recognized as one of the great singers of a golden period in hard rock music. His voice can be heard on albums from Grand Prix and Far Corporation, and of course on the chart topping MSG records 'Perfect Timing,' 'Save Yourself,' and 'MSG'.

Through these releases, he was introduced to hard rock fans around the globe, who no doubt recognized the inherent talent and skill in his vocal abilities. Once he departed MSG, he released one solo record in 1999, then joined AOR legends Survivor, and then re-grouped with Schenker in Michael Schenker Fest on their recent records 'Resurrection' and 'Revelation'.

And of course, in what was an absolute revelation to hard rock fans around the world, in 2020, he came out swingin' as the frontman of the supergroup Black Swan, where he joined forces with Reb Beach (Whitesnake, Winger), Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, ex-Dokken), and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr Big).

The band would return in 2022 with a second album, 'Generation Mind' that was met with equal, if not surpassing, amounts of praise as their debut.

Line-Up:

Robin McAuley - vocals

Andrea Seveso - guitars

Alessandro Del Vecchio - bass, keyboards

Nicholas Papapicco - drums

Produced by: Alessandro Del Vecchio

Executive Producer/A&R: Serafino Perugino

Red Devil Vortex - Alive [Official Music Video]:

RED DEVIL VORTEX released their new single "ALIVE" to all major platforms.

"ALIVE is the song that starts a new era for Red Devil Vortex, presenting the prodigy guitarist Luis Kalil as the new member. It's a song of empowerment, about believing in yourself and being free to live on your own terms. After all the craziness and uncertainties brought by the Pandemic, we feel like this is a timeless message that fits the present moment perfectly, reminding us we can always be stronger and kick ass" says the band.

From living in an RV on the streets of Hollywood to #16 on the Billboard ChartsRed Devil Vortexis not only the sonic result of life’s chaos and frustrations, but a statement of fighting for what you believe in. Though adapting to a new world of cultural shocks and real life challenges when moving from Curitiba, Brazil to Los Angeles, CA, lead singer / bassist Gabriel Connor and drummer Iago Marcondes were relentless and just getting louder.

The band had its kickstart with the single “The Fallen” from 2016 followed by the EP Something Has To Die released in May of 2018. Produced by Augustus “Gus” Cryns (Butcher Babies, Anti-Flag), the EP hit the US Billboard charts on its first week at No #16 (Heatseekers Chart) and No #49 (Independent Albums Chart) with over 250k Spotify streams to date.

Between 2019 and 2020 the band went back in studio to record their second EP, facing the departure of original guitarist Pablo Kravicz during the process. Gabriel and Iago managed to finish the record before another loss with the untimely death of their friend and producer Augustus during the pandemic lockdowns.

All releases were postponed but Gabriel and Iago kept Red Devil Vortex alive, using the time to organically find the right guitarist to get back on track. That guy was Luis Kalil, a 21-year-old award winning guitar prodigy based in Los Angeles who is also from Brazil and has either recorded or performed with artists such as Steve Vai, Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Kiko Loureiro & Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) among others.

With Luis onboard, his guitars were recorded in all the remaining tracks done with Augustus Crynsnot only honoring the work they’ve done together before his passing but giving a new meaning and creating a new chapter in the history of Red Devil Vortex.

Dark SecretsRed Devil Vortex’ new record, is set to be released in the second half of 2021.

Red Devil Vortex is:
Gabriel Connor - Vocals, Bass
Iago Marcondes - Drums, Backing vocals
Luis Kalil - Guitars, Backing vocals
