Dutch Futuristic Metallers CRYPTOSIS Announce New Album 'Celestial Death' Out March 7th via Century Media Records

Following their acclaimed 'Bionic Swarm' debut album (2021) and the EP 'The Silent Call' (2023), Dutch futuristic metallers CRYPTOSIS return with a mighty, awe-inspiring sophomore album entitled 'Celestial Death', set for worldwide release on March 7th, 2025 via Century Media Records.

As the first example of the intense material available on 'Celestial Death' a first single entitled “Faceless Matter” has been made available today across digital platforms and is also accompanied by a video produced by the film production company F/53, available to view below.

CRYPTOSIS comments about the track:

“With 'Faceless Matter', we’re opening the new album 'Celestial Death'. The song dives into a future where individuality fades, and people become part of one collective mind, haunted by the loss of self. This track brings a darker, heavier, and more symphonic sound. Welcome to the new era of CRYPTOSIS.”

CRYPTOSIS checked in with the following comment about 'Celestial Death':

“We’re excited to announce our new album! A sonic journey that pushes all boundaries of everything we created before. This album represents our evolution - an exploration of darkness that’s both vast and cinematic. 'Celestial Death' pulls you into a haunting atmosphere with relentless heaviness. Each track digs deeper into the enigma of existence, decay and fragile hope. 'Celestial Death' is our darkest vision yet - a soundtrack to the chaotic world we live in. It’s heavier, bolder, and still very much CRYPTOSIS. We can’t wait for you to experience it, and join us in this new chapter. Prepare to ascend. The 'Celestial Death' awaits!".

Recorded by Olaf Skoreng at Tom Meier and Studio Moon Music between April and August 2024, mixed by Fredrik Folkare at Chrome Studios (Unleashed, Necrophobic, Hellbutcher) in Sweden and finally mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Studios (Arch Enemy, Borknagar, Amorphis) in Sweden too, 'Celestial Death' once more comes with artwork by Eliran Kantor (Kreator, Testament, My Dying Bride) and showcases the group on a darker, heavier, more melodic and extremely cinematic journey across its 11 tracks / 42 minutes of playing time.

Dose of Adolescence Announce New Album + Drop "Get Back Up" — LISTEN // Band Signed to XOVR, Label Founded by Korn's Brian "Head" Welch

Southern California stalwarts Dose of Adolescence have returned! They just dropped the new song "Get Back Up," which appears on the forthcoming albumZircon Ave., out via XOVR RECORDS on November 15.

It's the first new music from the band in over a decade.

Watch the lyric video and listen to the song below

Dose of Adolescence are known for their blend of catchy pop stylings, hip-hop cadences, and grungey, punk rock distortion and "Get Back Up" will not disappoint fans of the band's signature sound. It's a high energy rager about taking the haymakers life throws at you and not giving up! It's powered by thunderous beats and a robust singalong. You'll be adding this track to your favorite gym playlist in no time.

"I'm so incredibly thankful to be releasing new music," says the band's lead guitarist Timmy Brown. "We did not think we'd ever play a show again, let alone put out a new album. This song epitomizes that idea of thinking you have been knocked down and something is over — and then you get back up again!"

Indeed, "Get Back Up" is your new mantra.

Dose of Adolescence emerged onto the Inland Empire punk scene in 1999, initially a pastime that swiftly transformed into a lifelong dream for the Brown brothers: Jimmy Brown (Lead Vocalist) and Timmy Brown (Lead Guitarist). Over the past 24 years, Dose of Adolescence have left an indelible mark on the pop/punk landscape, gracing numerous stages and sharing the limelight with iconic artists like Brian "Head" Welch of Korn, Lit, P.O.D., A Day To Remember, Anberlin, Switchfoot, Dirty Headz, and Sick Puppies.

Their journey includes notable accolades and performances, such as nominations for the Rebel Music Award and the gnarliest Rock/Hard Rock song at the 11th Annual Independent Music Awards. They triumphed in MTV2's Rallying The Underground, headlined the Wahoos Scion Tour, and unleashed chaos at the 2010 Vans Warped Tour.

XOVR(pronounced "Crossover") is the label owned and operated by Brian "Head" Welch of KORN fame.

BEWITCHER Unleashes Electrifying New Single, "Starfire Maelstrom," Announces New Album, 'Spell Shock'

All the best tunes belong to the Devil, and Portland’s bastard sons BEWITCHER have returned to take back rock n’ roll in Baphomet’s name. The speed demons are now unleashing the electrifying new single, “Starfire Maelstrom," which is the first invocation from the haunted trio’s upcoming album, 'Spell Shock,' due September 27 on on Century Media Records. The track is the hardened and bloodthirsty sound of BEWITCHER - noise, filth, fury n’ all - and can be found along with a lyric video, which was created by Scott Taysom, watch below.

“It’s full of apocalyptic, speed demon vibes, and imagery taken from the worst of current events that only get more apocalyptic as time goes by,” says BEWITCHER frontman Mateo von Bewitcher of the album's lead missive. “It’s the feeling you get from ‘Fight Fire with Fire’ on [Metallica’s] ‘Ride the Lightning.’ It’s immediate how it feeds into themes of human destruction and war, but also has cosmic elements. It’s a classic album opener.”

Joining Von Bewitcher, bassist A. Magus, and drummer A. Hunter in the studio this time was none other longtime BEWITCHER fan Lars Frederiksen. Most of the world knows Frederiksen as a force in his own right, playing in the likes of Bay Area punk heroes Rancid, as well as his own Old Firm Casuals. While to some, it may have been an unlikely pairing with Frederiksen taking the producer’s seat, for everyone in the studio the connection was immediate.

Says Frederiksen on Spell Shock: "It’s the best record I’ve ever produced for one of the best bands in the world."

Bewitcher's latest lightening strike comes just in time for the band's appearance at Milwaukee Metal Festival, in which they will be laying waste to The Rave/Eagle's Ballroom tonight, May 17! Bewitcher is currently on the road with fellow Portland-based occultists UADA and Century Media labelmates Upon Stone for "The Shadows Return" tour, which will continue to decimate the states until the final stop on May 28 in Sacramento, CA. The full itinerary can be found below! More dates including a Fall North American tour, and BEWITCHER’s return to Europe as they continue to extol their “Black Magick Metal” gospel will be announced soon

Stream and download the new single HERE.

Since their formation in 2013, Bewitcher has seen their signature “Black Magick Metal” sound go from humble beginnings to new heights of creativity and wild anthemic fervor. A small collection of long out-of-print demo tapes kicked off what has proven to be an enduring line of ripping studio albums, singles and EPs. They have earned a reputation as one of the hardest working touring acts around, bringing their volcanic, high energy live shows to every corner of North America and parts abroad.

DOSE OF ADOLESCENCE Announce Signing To XOVR Records, Seminal Album 'Memories Attack' Available on Streaming Platforms For The First Time

Los Angeles, CAXOVR Records is proud to announce the reissue of the acclaimed 2009 album 'Memories Attack' by their latest signing, Dose of Adolescence. The album, out of print since 2010 and never before available on streaming platforms, is set to reconnect fans with the band's vibrant legacy. The reissue is highlighted by the release of the focus track "I'm Rad, You're Rad, It's Been Fun", a song that earned a nomination for Best Rock/Hard Rock Song at the 11th Annual Independent Music Awards in 2010. Stream the album HERE and watch the accompanying visualizer below.

Speaking on their exciting new partnership, Dose of Adolescence vocalist Jimmy Brown shares "Signing to XOVR records for us has been such a huge blessing. When we stopped touring a few years ago, we thought music was over for us. To get this opportunity again is truly amazing. We are beyond excited about the new album and really feel like this is the best music we have ever created. It's also been awesome to work with XOVR on some of our back catalog including our album Memories Attack. So much of our early music was never on streaming platforms and was just lost to the dustbins of history. Breathing life back into these releases is really incredible."

Brian 'Head' Welch, co-founder of XOVR Records, sat down to interview Dose of Adolescence, discussing their journey and the anticipation for their forthcoming music. Watch the full interview HERE. Speaking on his latest signing, he shares "Announcing Dose of Adolescence as the second release on XOVR Records gets me fired up and feels like the right move for the label. DOA is very different from Spoken, the first band we signed, but similarly, they are excellent at what they do and have a great story. As we re-release much of the band's back catalog this year, it’s such a rare opportunity to share a band's history while setting up a new album — and THIS new music is what really got me wanting to work with DOA! It’s a great blend of genres that I found unique and compelling. I wanted to give it a vehicle for more people to hear and I believe that as people discover or reconnect with the band's music, they will also get excited to hear what’s next for DOA! I am glad XOVR gets to be a part of that process."

Dose of Adolescence's 'Memories Attack' and the single "I'm Rad, You're Rad, It's Been Fun" are available now for streaming. Fans can look forward to the re-release of the band's back catalog over the coming months, leading up to a brand new album in the fall.

Slovenian Rock Band XSKULL8 Release New Album 'From Sin To Sinners' via Curtain Call Records July 23, 2021

Slovenian rock band XSKULL8 are set to release their new album From Sin To Sinners via Curtain Call Records on July 23, 2021.

The band is available for interviews and the record is available for review!!

Even though it's the first record under the name XSKULL8, the guys say it’s "apparent that it’s not our first. This is already a product that we fearlessly introduce ourselves with to the world music scene."

After the release of the last single "Leaves Are Falling" from the album, they note with enthusiasm that the song has caught on remarkably and they hope the same for the rest of the material. "Most of this has already been presented to our audience as singles, but we have some unheard ear-candy on the album," they promise.

The band adds, "Producer Matej Pečaver and the whole team really did their best. We worked on the songs for quite a few months before we went to the studio, so other things could run smoothly because each of us knew what was expected and how we were going to do it.”

The album is, according to front man Rokk, a kind of combination of their lives, experiences and different eras. "You can hear when we've been freshly single, when we've had a grudge and when we grew up just a little bit because the themes and lyrics have become more like that,” Rokk says. He adds that the album's title is exactly what it says, From Sin To Sinners. "First, there had to be a sin so that we could sin. Same goes for the law. If someone doesn't tell you something’s against the law, that it shouldn't be done, there's nothing wrong with doing it. The moment someone decides that it's kind of unacceptable, the same thing becomes something bad," he explains. For now, the album can be purchased in physical form from their xskull8.com/shop online store - and within 2 months it will also be available on all the popular digital platforms.

With the release of the album, the guys are also happy to announce that they have a new record label. “We're really happy that Curtain Call Records have decided to sign with us. It's hard to say what exactly is going to change for us. Time will tell what our collaboration will bring, but the feelings are great. And I think the results are already showing. If nothing else, it was confirmation that we were doing well and a kick in the ass so we wouldn't stop.” That’s exactly what the guys are planning for in the future. "Don't stop. In fact, it depends a lot on the new label and the path we're going to take together, but one thing is clear. We're not stopping. We're moving on, we're working more and assume that we’re working better.”

XSKULL8 are:

Rok Žurga (Rokk) - Vocals/Guitar
Janez Janežič (Johnny) - Guitar/Backing vocal
Nejc Godec - Bass
Klemen Krajnc - Drums
