Resolve Annnunce Extended Cut Version Of "Human" + Share "Molotov" Video

French Metalcore quartet, Resolve, who released their critically acclaimed sophomore album Human in September 2023, have today announced the forthcoming Human (Extended Cut) deluxe edition, due for release on October 25 via Arising Empire.

Building upon a world shaped by the original version, the deluxe will also include brand-new unheard music and "The Fire, The Aftermath, The Everlasting" live performance. Watch it below.

To mark the announcement, the band have unveiled a brand-new single titled "Molotov," their first offering of new music since the Human album was released. Merging the lines between the past and the present, "Molotov" channels aggression through metallic atmospherics, further exploring the rise in Artificial Intelligence.

Resolve vocalist Anthony Diliberto comments, "'Molotov' is an incendiary track, relentless and aggressive. I feel like upon the first few seconds of the track, you get the message clear as day: we’re here to shake the earth to its core. It's very much a follow up, an epilogue even, to 2023's lead single 'Human/.' Decades after the machines overtaking of earth and humanity, the cycle begins again and a new hope for humanity arises when a robot inexplicably starts behaving like an actual living person. When you stand out so much from the crowd, does that make you a leader or a pariah?"

Expanding on their upcoming Human deluxe edition, bassist Robin Mariat mentions, "This is a new form of release for us, which is very exciting. We get to build up on the world that we shaped for Human, and these new tracks are the continuation of the story. These new tracks definitely have something for everyone, whether you like the heavier side of Resolve, or if you are more into our melodic capabilities."

Stream, purchase Human (Extended Cut) now as limited colored vinyl or CD at the Arising Empire Shop.

The announcement of Resolve's deluxe album comes ahead of a busy touring schedule for the European metalcore outfit. The band will be joining UK metal giants While She Sleeps across both their UK (alongside Currents and thrown) and European (alongside Malevolence and thrown) tours, which starts in Paris in November and includes back to back nights at London's prestigious O2 Forum Kentish Town.

Their strong work ethic and attention to details allowed them to open shows for Architects, Every Time I Die, and While She Sleeps, to name a few, all of that within the first few months of the band's stammering career.
