Melodic deathcore quintet Carrion Vael has released the official music video for "Savage Messiah"today via Unique Leader Records. The track can be found on the band's excellent new album 'Cannibals Anonymous'. Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, the band commented:

“Self-proclaimed prophet and leader of the totalitarian doomsday cult The Ant Hill Kids, Roch Thériault could only be described as “savage”. Thériault's punishments were violent and extreme, often castrating male members of his cult, forcing members to break their own limbs with a sledgehammer, and even performing unnecessary amateur surgery without anesthesia. Finally being arrested in 1989 after drunkenly amputating a woman’s arm with a meat cleaver, Thériault's reign of terror ended after being sentenced to life in prison. His insanity inspired this song and is our version of his story, and the story of the people he tortured.”
