MIND INCISION Delivers With Explosive New Single “Y.W.A.WAR"

MIND INCISION has officially unleashed their blistering new single, “Y.W.A.War (You Wanted A War)” a no-holds-barred sonic assault that doesn’t just push boundaries…

it obliterates them.

Fueled by aggression, precision, and unapologetic intensity, “Y.W.A.War” is a battle cry for anyone who’s ever been underestimated, overlooked, or pushed to their breaking point.

This isn’t just a song, it’s a declaration.

From the opening moments, MIND INCISION wastes no time setting the tone. Crushing riffs, relentless percussion, and venom-laced vocals collide to create a track that feels like controlled chaos. Every second hits with purpose, building a wall of sound that’s as punishing as

it is addictive.

Lyrically, “Y.W.A.War” cuts deep, channeling frustration, defiance, and raw truth into a message that hits hard and resonates even harder. It’s confrontational, it’s cathartic, and it refuses to back down.

“Y.W.A.War” is only the beginning.

The first chapter in a three-part cinematic saga, MIND INCISION is unleashing a full-scale visual and sonic war over the next year... each release revealing another piece of a dark,

unfolding narrative.

Set in a not so distant future, the story dives into a world where humanity’s greatest creation becomes its greatest threat… as AI machines rise, rebel, and turn on the very masses that built them.

The story begins with “Y.W.A.War” a brutal awakening in the aftermath of a nuclear winter, set in a shattered world around the year 2043. Humanity emerges from beneath the earth, broken but not finished. The video follows a small group of survivors as they begin to rebuild, searching for purpose… and for a leader strong enough to guide them into the war that’s coming.

This isn’t just a trilogy.

It’s a full scale rebellion.

A cinematic war for the future of humanity.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT VETERAN JOAN VANCE LAUNCHES VANCE & CO ADVISORY, LLC

Business management veteran Joan Vance announces the launch of Vance & Co Advisory, LLC, an independent bookkeeping and financial advisory firm serving individuals and small to mid-sized businesses across industries.

Vance & Co Advisory fills the gap between basic bookkeeping and business management, offering services that span monthly reconciliation, financial reporting, systems and process documentation, and strategic advisory support. The firm works with clients on an ongoing basis, providing consistent financial oversight tailored to each business.

“So many creatives find themselves in a position where they aren’t quite ready yet for business management and don’t think about the financial side until tax time,” shares Vance. “This causes undue stress and a mad rush to provide information to their tax accountant. I want to relieve that burden so songwriters, artists, and other businesses can focus on what they excel at.

“I am grateful to have been mentored by some of the best in the business at Wiles + Taylor and carry those experiences with me each day,” she adds. “I leave with nothing but respect and appreciation for the firm and those who helped shape my career and am excited for the journey ahead!”

Originally from New Jersey, Vance holds an MBA from Belmont University, along with dual undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Writing Arts. That foundation shaped the way she works today: organized, thoughtful, and deeply intentional in how she communicates and simplifies complexity.

Vance began her career at a law firm before moving to Nashville, where she joined Wiles + Taylor. Starting as a receptionist, she quickly grew within the firm, where she worked closely with high-net-worth clients and developed her strong operational and financial management skillset that blends precision with relationship-building. Vance believes good bookkeeping is more than numbers: it’s peace of mind, transparency, and a strong foundation for decision-making.

Her goal is simple: to make your finances feel less overwhelming and more empowering—so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Alice Cooper Reissues "Along Came A Spider" + "Welcome 2 My Nightmare" via earMUSIC

Two nightmares. One legacy. And they're both back, louder and darker than ever.

Alice Cooper returns with the reissues of Along Came A Spider and Welcome 2 My Nightmare  two chapters from the twisted playbook of shock rock's original showman. Fresh formats, bonus material, and that unmistakable bite. If you know, you know. If you don't, this is a pretty great place to start.

For more than five decades, Cooper has been bending the rules of rock, dragging theater, horror, and dark humor onto the stage and daring everyone else to keep up. Guillotines. Snakes. Electric chairs. Hooks that stick in your head for years. It's not just music. It's a whole world. And these two albums sit right in the middle of it, telling stories that are as unsettling as they are addictive.

Along Came A Spider drops you straight into the mind of a serial killer. It's gritty. Tight. No filler. Tracks like "Vengeance Is Mine" hit even harder with Slash on lead guitar, while "Wake the Dead" carries the weight of Ozzy Osbourne behind the scenes. With Greg Hampton and Danny Saber shaping the sound, the album leans raw and immediate. It doesn't ask for permission. It just goes for it.

This remastered reissue lands in two formats. A Jewelcase CD and a 2LP Gatefold (45 RPM) vinyl edition. Both come packed with three bonus tracks, giving fans a little extra to dig into. Turn it up and let it play out. That’s how it’s meant to be heard.

Then there's Welcome 2 My Nightmare. The return to Steven's story. The sequel fans waited decades for, and yeah, it delivers. It pulls threads from the original 1975 album and twists them into something new. Familiar, but not stuck in the past.

The guest list reads like the invitation list to a very exclusive nightmare. Desmond Child brings his hitmaking touch, while Ke$ha adds a surprising edge. Even better, original band members Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway, and Neal Smith step back in, reconnecting the sound to its roots.

This reissue comes as a newly mastered 2CD digipak and a 3LP Gatefold (45 RPM) vinyl set, built for serious listening. Seven bonus tracks are included, among them live cuts of "Poison" and "No More Mr. Nice Guy" recorded at Download Festival. Big stage energy captured properly.

Both albums remind you why Cooper is still standing at the front. The voice. The attitude. The commitment to detail. Nothing half done. Never has been.

The reissues of Along Came A Spider and Welcome 2 My Nightmare are available across all major platforms and in multiple physical formats.

Step back into the nightmare. Or step in for the first time.

Order your copies now and experience both albums the way they were meant to be heard. Loud. Dark. And just a little dangerous.

While these reissues bring two standout chapters of Alice Cooper’s catalogue back into the spotlight, Alice Cooper shows no signs of slowing down on stage. He continues to tear through electrifying live shows across the globe.

Nytt Land Sign with Season of Mist

Since forming in 2013 in Western Siberia, the shamanic family duo have followed a ritual path that’s guided by a living connection with ancient traditions and beliefs. During their formative years together, Natalia and Anatoly Pakhlaenko independently released three albums that established Nytt Land’s enchanting style, which is built around deep vocal techniques, throat singing, shamanic drums, tagelharpa, jaw harp, flutes, natural field recordings and hypnotic rhythms.

While signed to Napalm Records and later Prophecy Productions, Nytt Land shifted closer to the languages and indigenous spiritual traditions of their Siberian homeland. By continuing to explore vocal traditions, ancient percussion, organic soundscapes, archaic texts and incantations of the Manchu-Tungusic peoples, the duo strengthened their reinterpretation of Siberian shamanic musical heritage. Their new album, Aba Khan, was inspired by their travels across Siberia, where they encountered new landscapes and deepened their experience with the spiritual traditions of their homeland.

Now, Nytt Land are continuing their journey with Season of Mist, where they join a roster that includes Heilung, Danheim, Garmarna, Eihwar, Sowulo, Vévaki and Kriigerkvlt.

“We’re proud to announce that we are joining the Season of Mist family”, Nytt Land says. “Throughout all these years, we have followed our own path, preserving the sincerity and essence of our music. We are ready to start this new chapter with a label that deeply respects traditions and authentic vision. The path continues!”

Catch Nytt Land on their current European headline tour and upcoming tour of Australia.

Nytt Land is a Siberian ritual / dark folk family duo founded in August 2013 by Natalia and Anatoly Pakhlaenko in the town of Kalachinsk, Western Siberia, on the banks of the Om River. Natalia and Anatoly author its music, visual language, philosophy and spiritual direction. Their art was born from life in Siberia and speaks in the voice of this ancient land: harsh, mystical, living and infinitely deep.

From the very beginning, Nytt Land developed as a family creative union in which music was perceived not simply as concert or studio art, but as a ritual path expressed through voice, breath, rhythm, silence and a living connection with the ancient traditions and beliefs of Siberia. The official description of the project defines Nytt Land as a “ritual path expressed through sound,” inspired by the traditional spiritual practices of the indigenous peoples of Siberia.

The early period of Nytt Land was closely connected with northern mythology, ancient texts, archaic folk and world music aesthetics. During its first years, the band independently released the albums Nytt Land (2013), Hávamál (2015), and Sköpun: Songs from the Elder Edda (2016), followed by Fimbulvinter (2017) and Oðal(2018). These releases established the duo’s recognizable sound: deep vocal techniques, throat singing, shamanic drums, tagelharpa, jaw harp, flutes, natural field recordings and hypnotic rhythms.

Over time, Nytt Land gradually shifted the center of its creativity away from purely Northern European sources toward the band’s own Siberian homeland, languages and indigenous spiritual traditions. An important milestone became the album Ritual (2021) through Napalm Records. The album was presented as a deep immersion into ancient percussion and vocal traditions, while the band itself described its music as Shamanic Dark Folk.

In 2023, Nytt Land released Torem, continuing their exploration of archaic texts, ritual atmosphere and organic soundscapes. In 2025, the band released Songs of the Shaman through Prophecy Productions — a work dedicated to traditional shamanic songs and incantations of the Manchu-Tungusic peoples of Siberia. This album became one of the band’s most significant steps toward the direct exploration and musical reinterpretation of Siberian shamanic heritage.

The culmination of this creative direction is Nytt Land’s new tenth full-length album Aba Khan, released on February 20, 2026 through Prophecy Productions. The material for the album was inspired by a year of traveling across Siberia, where they encountered new landscapes, people and the real spiritual traditions of indigenous culture of their homeland. While echoes of ancient mythological sources remain present in the music, the focus increasingly shifts toward the languages, imagery and ritual worldview of Siberia itself. The band dedicated Aba Khan to the ancient, beautiful and immense land of Siberia.

Today, Nytt Land is more than simply a musical act. It is a complete artistic world where sound, voice, rhythm, costumes, visual imagery and stage action merge into a unified ritual experience. The duo’s live performances are often perceived as entering a ritual circle: a space where the modern stage transforms into a meeting point with ancient memory, nature, spirits and shamanic breath.

CLIFFDIVER Announce Indefinite Hiatus and Two Final Shows + Hint At New Music Very Soon!

Tulsa's beloved emo outfit, CLIFFDIVER, have today announced that the band will be embarking on an indefinite hiatus. Known for their emotionally raw, genre-fluid blend of emo, ska, and indie rock, CLIFFDIVER will also mark the occasion with two final shows in July, tickets available now at the links below. These final shows serve as a fitting farewell from a band to celebrate everything they've built thus far, with the community who that have been with them every step of the way.

Since forming in 2018, CLIFFDIVER have built a devoted following on the strength of their electrifying live show and a discography that includes 2 EPs - "Small Hours" and "At Your Own Risk" - and 2 records - "Exercise Your Demons" and "birdwatching". Along the way, the band shared stages with The Wonder Years, blink 182, Prince Daddy & The Hyena, amongst many others to cement their place in the fabric of the the emo underground.

Notably, the band's resolve was tested in 2023 when a freak highway accident left bassist Tyler Rogers fighting for his life. In a moment that shook the band to its core, it also seemed to strengthen their determination to keep going and even inspired their latest hit record, "birdwatching". That same spirit has defined CLIFFDIVER since their inception and will carry through to their final two shows in July.

With heavy hearts and immense gratitude for everyone who made this journey possible, Eliot Cooper, Joey Duffy, Matt Ehler, Tyler Rogers, and Bri Wright of CLIFFDIVER share:

"After 8 good years, we’ve agreed as a band to hit the pause button on Cliffdiver.

This wasn’t a decision we made easily — for months we’ve been trying to think of ways to continue the band in a different capacity, but it just didn’t make sense. We were built from day one to be a touring band, obsessed with being road dogs and playing as many shows as possible. Unfortunately, mostly due to health restrictions and personal obligations, we’re just not built that way anymore. We’ve always been 100% or nothing, and it didn’t feel right to just “halfway” be a band and not put our full effort into everything Cliffdiver does.

We’re eternally grateful for every opportunity we’ve had and realize how unlikely it is that a band from Oklahoma experiences what we were fortunate enough to. We got to share the stage and tour alongside the people who inspired us to play music, play some of the biggest punk rock festivals in the world, work with one-of-a-kind producers and recording studios, release two albums we’re so proud of with a legendary record label, witness many of our peers go from house shows to world tours, and most importantly develop lasting relationships with fans of our music, other bands and artists, and so many incredible people working in the industry.

We have a handful of new songs that we’ll be releasing this summer, along with two final shows — one in OKC and one in Tulsa. We’re not entirely sure if this is goodbye, see you later, or what exactly, but it’s important to us that we let y’all know how thankful we are for everyone who stuck with us and helped create such an insanely positive community around our music. It changed our lives for the better.

Cliffy"

This isn't quite the last time you'll hear from CLIFFDIVER, as we promise that the band still have a few more tricks up their sleeves. Stay tuned for more news from CLIFFDIVER very soon.

Hard Rock Supergroup ICONIC Shares New Single "Tears Keep On Falling" + Visualizer

Today, hard rock supergroup ICONIC - featuring Michael Sweet (guitars), Joel Hoekstra(guitars), Marco Mendoza (bass), Tommy Aldridge (drums), and Nathan James (vocals) – shares a new single, “Tears Keep On Falling,” taken from their upcoming sophomore album ‘II,’ set for release on for July 31, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl.

Nathan James comments:

“I loved singing this song in the studio. Such a great chorus and I really hope the listeners enjoy it as much as I do!”

Michael Sweet shares:

"I’m really proud to be a part of such an iconic band, no pun intended! It takes me back to the glory days, when rock ruled radio, and it was topping the charts. We created this album to remind people of those times. Here’s to 'Tears Keep On Falling'!”

At the heart of 'II' lies the electrifying guitar partnership of Joel Hoekstra and Michael Sweet, delivering a masterclass in soaring melodies, blazing solos, and muscular riffs that perfectly balance technical brilliance with pure hard-rock attitude. Beneath them, the rhythm section of Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza drives the record with thunderous authority, creating a groove that is both massive and relentless.

'Tears Keep On Falling' is a powerful rock ballad; it will get your attention as soon as you hear it, from the first verse. Nathan’s vocals are amazing, and Michael and Joel’s guitars are on fire… Tommy A at the helm driving! Enjoy!” said Marco Mendoza.

Watch the Visualizer for "Tears Keep On Falling" Below:

Joel Hoekstra comments on the new track:

“I hope everyone enjoys 'Tears Keep On Falling.' It was killer to lean into the groove that Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza gave us for this one. It was also great fun to play the harmony lead lines with Michael Sweet and finally to hear Nathan James belt out the vocals like only he can!”

ICONIC returns with 'II,' a second album that doesn’t just continue the band’s journey - it defines it. Where their debut introduced the chemistry between five world-class musicians, 'II'sharpens that vision into a clearer, heavier, and more confident sonic identity, delivering a sound that is more powerful, more direct, and unmistakably rock.

The album kicks off with “Cry No More," a high-octane opener that immediately sets the tone - an energetic slice of hard rock packed with driving riffs, explosive drums, and a chorus built to stick.

On the other side of the emotional spectrum, “Tears Keep On Falling” showcases the band’s dynamic range, unfolding into an electrifying power ballad in which melody, atmosphere, and intensity converge in dramatic fashion.

Towering above it all is Nathan James, whose performance on 'II' is nothing short of extraordinary - powerful, soulful, and commanding, elevating every track with unmistakable presence.

Tommy Aldridge adds:

“Such an honor and a blessing working with Nathan, Marco, Michael, and Joel again. Consummate pros!”

With bigger riffs, deeper grooves, and a stronger sense of identity, 'II' captures ICONIC at full force: a band no longer introducing itself but fully owning its sound.

ROTTING CHRIST Announce Reissue of Khronos

ROTTING CHRIST, are reissuing their album Khronos. First released in 2000, the sixth album from the Greek legends stands as the final pillar of the band’s Gothic period, which started in the mid-1990s, before they turned toward the mythology and cultural roots that characterize their later albums.

Season of Mist will reissue Khronos on July 10, 2026.

Pre-order

https://redirect.season-of-mist.com/RCReissues

Recorded in the dead of a Nordic winter at Sweden's Abyss Studios, Khronos carries a sense of cold. Keyboards pull back beneath the guitars rather than ride above them. The album’s overall atmosphere leans toward shadow rather than sheen. Songs like "Thou Art Blind" and "Aeternatus" hit with a ferocity closer to Rotting Christ's uncompromising 1993 debut Thy Mighty Contract than to the polished gothic sound of the recently reissued Sleep of the Angels."My Sacred Path," "Art of Sin," and the title track hold onto the melodic intelligence of the band’s late-90s records, threading dark wave undercurrents through slower, more insinuating structures. The eleven-minute closer "Glory of Sadness" eventually yields to an industrial-inflected hidden passage—a signal, in its own oblique way, that a door is closing.

Among the most debated moments on Khronos is Rotting Christ’s cover of Current 93's "Lucifer Over London". The band’s restrained and deliberate reading of David Tibet's Neofolk original drew divided responses on release and has continued to do so since.

Current Lineup:

Sakis Tolis — Vocals, Guitar

Kostis Foukarakis — Guitars

Kostas Cheliotis — Bass

Themis Tolis — Drums

Khronos recording Line-up:

Sakis Tolis — Guitars, Vocals

Kostas Vassilakopoulos — Guitars

Andreas Lagios — Bass

Georgios Tolias — Keyboards

Jan Roger Halvorsen — Drums (session)

Self Deception Drop New Single "BREAK!" | New Album "One Of Us" Out 5/13

Swedish modern rock force SELF DECEPTION unleashes their powerful new single "BREAK!," packed with the band's signature explosive energy. "BREAK!" arrives only a few days before the release of their brand-new studio album, One Of Us, out May 15 via Napalm Records.

"BREAK!" features heavy-hitting drums, strong riffs, and electronic influences, all topped with an irresistible sing-along chorus. With previous hits like "Fight Fire With Gasoline" (2022), which has accumulated tens of millions of streams, SELF DECEPTION are set to continue establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the international rock scene with this new offering.

Vocalist Andreas Clark comments on "BREAK!":
"We all know that person. The one who made chaos their comfort, who can't feel love unless it hurts, 'cause pain's the only proof it's real. One side writes poetry, the other lights the pages on fire. Passionate but poisonous, begging for peace while starting wars, addicted to the drama, torn clean down the middle of who they are."

Watch the official music video for "BREAK!" Below":

Known for their fiery fusion of anthemic modern metal and powerful melodic rock, SELF DECEPTION have shared stages with the likes of Electric Callboy, Danko Jones, and Adept since their 2009 debut, while racking up millions of streams and video views — including their viral 2022 hit "Fight Fire With Gasoline," with tens of millions of streams. Written on the road during the heaviest touring of SELF DECEPTION's career so far, One Of Us is a cohesive album full of character, made for the stage — and the pit!

SELF DECEPTION about One Of Us:
"One Of Us is our new album, inspired by life on the road and the energy of the live stage. Touring so much has put us in a kind of 'live bubble,' and that feeling runs through the songwriting. The album revolves around outsidership and the desire to belong. On tour, we meet many lost and lonely people, all seeking a few hours of escape where they can disappear into a rock show. With One Of Us, we want everyone to feel part of something bigger, to feel like one of us."

Canadian Alt-Rockers SELFISH THINGS Announce New Album 'Receptivity' Set for Release on October 9th via FLG

Today, alt-rockers SELFISH THINGS are thrilled to announce the release of their new studio album, ‘Receptivity,’ set for release on October 9, 2026 via FLG.

After releasing their single “Sunlight” in March, the band now unleashes their new track “Effigy,” along with an official video.

Frontman Alex Biro comments:

“Admittedly - this was a song I hated that quickly became everyone’s favourite. I wrote the lyrics in an hour at the lowest point of my sobriety in 2022. I can’t say anything about it beyond it was stream of consciousness, clearly blistering, and is something I can’t listen to often without feeling sh*t I’ve tried to bury. I hope it brings you peace.”

Watch the Official Video for "Effigy" Below:

SELFISH THINGS‘Receptivity’ is a raw and unflinching portrait of frontman Alex Biro’s reckoning with collapse and recovery. Born from the ashes of a life derailed - years of relentless touring, addiction, and the stillness of a pandemic that forced reflection – ‘Receptivity’ is both a lifeline and a rebirth. Created alongside longtime collaborators Michael Ticar and Mike Tompa, and mixed by Sam Guaiana (Bayside, Neck Deep, Against The Current), the album took shape during Biro’s earliest days of sobriety. It’s not just a return - it’s a declaration. Brutally honest, emotionally charged, and rooted in redemption, ‘Receptivity’ stands as a testament to survival, accountability, and the strength to rebuild when everything falls apart.

Originally a moniker for Biro, SELFISH THINGS released their debut EP ‘Vertical Love’ (A Wolf at Your Door Records) produced by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath, Dashboard Confessional). The release earned the attention of BBC Radio 1’s Dan P. Carterand earned the band a 2017 cover spot on Spotify’s New Noise playlist.

Their 2019 debut LP ‘Logos’ (Pure Noise Records) produced by Drew Fulk (Knocked Loose, Beartooth, Lil Peep) landed the band on multiple Billboard charts before the COVID-19 pandemic cut the album cycle short, forcing the band into hiatus.

In the years since, Biro and bandmate Michael Ticar have collaborated with Juno Award–winning producer Mike Tompa, writing music born from the tail end of addiction and carried into sobriety.

Now four years sober and working in peer support within the touring community, Biro says the band’s return feels less like a comeback and more like a reckoning - a chance to speak plainly about addiction, mental health, and the danger of freezing people at their worst moments.

‘Receptivity’ is a triumph of the human experience. It is a story of a man who understands the depths of his own shadow, unafraid to face the thunder of his past. In a society obsessed with division and virtue signalling, the three friends have created something inextricably tied to challenging the status quo. An album meant to tell the story of a man willing to stand in front of the world and acknowledge his brokenness and its impact without blame. A man tired of division and anger. A man who is changed for the better.

Biro states:

“This wasn’t supposed to be an album. It’s still not really an album to me, or to any of us. More just… closure, I guess. I was at the beginning of my full-blown addiction on the last tour we ever did before COVID stopped the world in 2020. I hated myself and I hated the world more than I really knew at the time. I’m four years sober on the 18th of May, working as a sober coach and clinician with folks who struggle with the same things I do, even in my recovery. The profits will be donated to the hospital where I went to rehab, and (admittedly), we don’t really know where to go (or if we’ll go anywhere with it) afterward.”

“The only thing that’s brought me peace in the aftermath of the cataclysm of my addiction is being of service to others. I think deep down, releasing this for whoever needs to hear it is an extension of that. Everything beautiful blooms from the mud. Everything beautiful grows from the dirt”, he added. “This is for those who can accept that the things they’ve been through can either be the poison cup they sip from or the counterweight that lifts themselves and others up. That being imperfect is being human. And that suffering is singular, and universal.”

Kenny Chesney Carries On & LOCKS Country Radio 1st Week

Kenny Chesney has built a career on finding songs that hit people right where they live. For his HEY NOW Records debut, the high energy force of music knew he wanted something that exponentiated his embrace of total positive energy. “Carry On,” the three minute feel good package of bartender wisdom that packs bits of reggae undertow, bluegrass harmonies and a summer anthem chorus, was just the thing.

For his first single in two years…his first for the brand new and fiercely independent HEY NOW Records…his return to what he does best, lifting people up no matter what their state of life…the 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee notches a pair of firsts: his highest ever add day and closing the panel with every station delivering “Carry On” to listeners across the country.

“The world’s overwhelming,” Chesney says, “between our phones and the news, it’s a lot. But the truth is: our lives are right now, and we need to remember – no matter what – that we gotta find the joy and happiness wherever, however, because that’s the only thing we can control.”

“Carry On” locking the panel on week one marks only the third time in Mediabase history this has happened. Garth Brooks achieved the feat in 1997 and Post Malone with Morgan Wallen delivered 100% of the reporters in 2024. Whether a sign of the times or merely Chesney delivering another year’s Song of Summer, “Carry On” has struck a chord.

“Some songs just hit you in the heart,” Chesney explains. “When I heard it, I was right there at the end of the bar at Schooner Wharf, which is such old Key West. I could see it, hear it, taste it – and the more I listened to songs, and I’ve heard some unbelievable songs this time around, the more I knew I wanted to find a song that would not just make people happy, but give them permission to live their life so in the moment and free…

“Based on the response from radio, I’m not the only one looking to be empowered, inspired, lifted up. Like the bridge says, ‘If it feels good do it, if it doesn’t then don’t…’ Nothing could be simpler, but man, isn’t that everything life comes down to?”

More than a musical cocktail that delivers a face your life but just keep loving and living every single moment sentiment, “Carry On” offers something musical that matches the message. With a melody that cascades, electric guitars that are bright and bold and a rhythm that moves from the islands to the stadiums, songwriters Chase McGill, Jessi Alexander and Matt Jenkins created the perfect distillation of everything the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar has come to represent.

Dropping a summer anthem that sparks people to turn it up, drive faster, laugh louder, stay a little longer and then get up and seize the day the morning after, “Carry On” reminds everyone how glorious being alive can be. Instantly ready for arms-around-friends shout-alongs during days on the beach, chasing the night with friends and tailgates everywhere, the chorus delivers everything to get you through a Tuesday morning ride to work or a white-hot Saturday night.

One hundred fifty-eight stations out of 158 stations can’t be wrong. After all, if it feels good, do it… For Kenny Chesney, brand new HEY NOW Records and music fans everywhere, what a way to return with new music.

Guitarist and co-composer Jeff Young reflects on the origins of the song:

“During the making of the Nick Menza film, I acquired several demo recordings of Nick playing various drum progressions. In essence, the introduction, verses & chorus of 'Bullets Ready' came from playing along to one of Nick's energetic grooves. During the So Far, So Good... So What! tour, it was often David, Nick & myself that would conduct the soundchecks. It was a surreal & nostalgic feeling to be playing along and writing riffs with my long, lost friend. Nick’s playing inspired so much of this song and his spirit is forever encapsulated inside this recording.”

Dead Poet Society Return With Video for New Song "Sinner Systems"

Southern California-based alt hard rock band DEAD POET SOCIETY — Jack Underkofler (vocals/guitar); Jack Collins (guitar); Will Goodroad (drums); and Dylan Brenner (bass) — return with the video for new song "Sinner Systems." The song was produced by Paul Meany (Twenty-One Pilots, Pierce The Veil) and mixed by Adam Hawkins (Turnstile, Yungblud, Twenty-One Pilots).

The voyeuristic video is as tense as the song's angular and low-end riffing.

Watch it below

"'Sinner Systems' is a dark, brooding song that blends heavy, detuned fretless grooves with addictive, hedonistic lyrics that hold a mirror up to modern excess and emotional numbness," the band explains. "We explored the duality of the detuned and the melodic and came up with a song that is a cinematic journey for the listener."

Dead Poet Society will hit the road with Highly Suspect later this month. All forthcoming dates are below.

Dead Poet Society have toured with alt rock powerhouses Badflower, Biffy Clyro, and Highly Suspect, and more. Better Noise Celebrates Major Milestone at Radio With From Ashes to New + Yellowcard1️⃣

BETTER NOISE MUSIC, the artist development company and the premier independent record label operating under BETTER NOISE ENTERTAINMENT, a content creation and marketing company that produces music, books, films, documentaries, TV shows, theatrical productions, and tours, is celebrating a major milestone. The independent label has achieved simultaneous No.1 singles at both Rock and Alternative Radio in the same week. This marks the first time such a feat has been achieved by an independent label.

Rock force FROM ASHES TO NEW have officially hit No. 1 at Active Rock radio for the first time with "DRAG ME," a major career breakthrough years in the making. After previously landing three Top 10 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, including "Barely Breathing" (#2) and "Crazy" (#2) for a total of 8 charting singles in their career, the band has now reached the summit, cementing their rise as one of the format's most consistent and hard-earned success stories.

The milestone arrives at a pivotal moment alongside the release of their newly released April 17 album Reflections, out now to a strong global reception.

This moment also lands amid a broader surge at radio, with multi-platinum pop punk royalty YELLOWCARD simultaneously earning a No. 1 of their own with "BEDROOM POSTERS" (Feat. Good Charlotte) at Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart. The song has remained in the top slot for the second week in a row. Consequenceapplauded how "the song finds Yellowcard singer Ryan Key traded vocals with Good Charlotte's Joel Madden," while Rolling Stone put it best: "It's the collaboration made in pop-punk dreams."

Together, these Better Noise Music achievements mark a rare and powerful showing, reflecting long-term artist development, sustained momentum, and a roster performing at the highest level. Both bands' accolades are being celebrated across the entire Better Noise family, marking a proud moment for a team that has helped drive their steady climb to the top.

Jackie Kajzer, SVP Promotion & Artist Development, says, "We don't take moments like this lightly. Huge credit to our partners at Rock and Alternative Radio for continuing to show up and support these artists in a meaningful way. This kind of support is what drives real breakthroughs. At Better Noise, we develop artists to build long-term careers. It's very rewarding to see our efforts connect at multiple formats at the same time. There's a lot more coming!"

Dan Waite, CEO Better Noise Music added "This is what artist development looks like when you work from the end game backwards. Allen Kovac founded this company on this principle, fewer signings, deeper investment, stronger outcomes. From Ashes To New and Yellowcard reaching No. 1 simultaneously didn't happen overnight. It's the result of years of focused development, building real fanbases, and staying committed through every phase of an artist's growth. That model is Better Noise Music's competitive advantage, and we're signing bands who want a label built around that kind of long-term partnership and philosophy. Great work Jackie and the whole Better Noise team!"

Better Noise Music stands as a dominant force at rock radio today, driven by a roster of artists achieving sustained, repeat success at the top of the format. The label has built a track record of developing artists into consistent chart performers. Of the 34 priority singles worked at radio by Better Noise Music's promotion team since 2020, 31 of them have peaked inside the top 10 and 23 have reached the coveted No. 1 slot.

NYC's Julia Greenberg shares 'Leaves' single, a masterclass in the art of letting go 'Born Sentimental' EP to be released via Magic Door Record Label

NYC-based singer-songwriter Julia Greenberg presents her new single 'Leaves', an uplifting track that feels remarkably hopeful despite being written amidst the quiet wreckage of personal loss. Mastering the art of letting go, she offers a poignant reminder that some seasons simply cannot be held captive. This is a hauntingly graceful prelude to her 'Born Sentimental' EP, slated for June release via New Jersey's Magic Door Record Label.

Directed by Julia Greenberg and edited by Nico Greenberg with Yumiko Takagi as director or photography, the accompanying video captures a small-town schoolhouse that is "frozen in time", this setting serving as a poignant monument to the people and milestones we’ve moved on from. The lens treats these relics as a visual meditation on the bittersweet friction between honoring our most precious, fleeting memories and finding the courage to keep walking toward the hope of an unmapped horizon.

'Leaves' sets the tone for the EP. Written over several years in the aftermath of a personal tragedy, the song is reminder that, try as we might, we can’t hang on to those autumn leaves. Referencing the incomparable and oft interpreted Kurt Weill song, Julia chastises herself: “There’s nothing dumber, than the girl who sings September Song in summer”, as she ruminates over her guitar in the shade while everyone else is at the lake.

Recorded live at Chrometop Studios, this music vibrates with the raw, lived-in chemistry of a quartet that has spent half a decade honing these stories while touring the Northeast, capturing their emotional and creative connections and vulnerabilities. It’s a deeply personal and gorgeous collision of alt-country grit and the sophisticated wit of American Standards, capturing a vulnerability that feels both timeless and bracingly honest. Co-produced by Bob Perry (The Winter Hours) and Julia Greenberg, this EP was engineered by Bob Perry and mastered by Ray Ketchem (Guided by Voices, Elk City, Gramercy Arms, Luna, Crash Harmony) at Magic Door Recording Studio in Montclair, NJ.

"These songs are unapologetically written and sung by a woman who has been around a while and has seen and lost a thing or two—and knows the power of the proximity of funny and mournful. The songs, and the kind of raw way I’m putting them out into the world, is a reaction to all the screens, and filters and bullshit projections of ourselves that rule us," says Julia Greenberg.

A chanteuse, theater composer and filmmaker with roots in the downtown NYC music scene, Julia Greenberg has released two albums of original music - 'Past Your Eyes'and 'Greenland' - both produced by James Mastro (The Bongos, Mott the Hoople, Ian Hunter, Patti Smith, John Cale). Her her music has been featured on 'This American Life' (including the ever-popular Dr. Phil episode, in which Phil Collins evaluates a breakup song she co-wrote), and Ronnie Spector also recorded one of her songs.

Greenberg's award-winning documentary 'Dory Previn: On My Way to Where' can now be watched on PBS, having had its world premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in 2024. Prior to directing the film, Julia became the foremost interpreter of Previn’s music, performing her work around the country at venues such as Joe’s Pub, Mass MoCA, the 92nd Street Y, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, and on WFMU and WNYC radio. She is also the archivist for Previn's estate.

Apart from co-writing the hit off-Broadway rock opera 'People Are Wrong!' with Robin Goldwasser, she composed the music for the off-Broadway play 'Cavedweller' with "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" composer Stephen Trask. In her spare time, she is a health justice advocate and co-curates the music program at the Rock Valley Schoolhouse in the Catskills.

"After years of interpreting other people’s songs and making a film about my musical idol, Dory Previn, this release feels like some kind of catharsis. It’s just me and my unadorned voice and musical companions of the last decade, doing what we do live, captured so beautifully by engineer and co-producer Bob Perry," says Julia Greenberg.

As of April 21, 'Leaves' is available across digital platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and Bandcamp, where it is currently available for download. On June 11, the 'Born Sentimental' EP will be released via Magic Door Record Label.

CONJURER have evolved radically since the release of their debut album (Mire, 2018), and their second release (Páthos, 2022) saw them lauded among the most exciting British metal bands. Whilst award nominations and accolades accumulated, the four-piece band retained their very simple mission: to make heavy music and have fun whilst doing so. Preferring to use their spotlight to showcase technicality and musicality rather than centring politics or opinions, CONJURER lived in the moment and embraced everything that came their way.

Within the tumult of forging a renewed identity as a band, on Unself there is a more intense, more personal voyage of discovery unfurling for vocalist/guitarist Dani Nightingale. Diagnosed with autism at age 31, their long-held view of self, and perception of their place in the world began to unravel. Unself documents much of the piecing back together around the diagnosis, alongside the realisation they were non-binary.

These vignettes of processing and self-actualisation take place against the backdrop of a society careening towards glassy-eyed capitalist dystopia; finding firm footing eludes many of us - and CONJURER delve headfirst into exploring these suffocating new societal parameters.

Within Unself's nine tracks, CONJURER deliver the writhing post-metal sound they’ve become known for, but have loosened their grip on the desire to fill every moment with sonic obliteration. Instead, they have leaned into utilising space, gifting listeners a little breathing room which serves to make the heavy elements feel all the more intense.

A more direct, organic approach to songwriting was facilitated by the ever-strengthening bonds within the band, and the supportive environment created by producer Joe Clayton. Allowing themselves more time than with any previous recording experience, they committed to preproduction sessions, followed by an elongated recording period in order to do justice to the material they had crafted. Stripping back the excesses of previous outings to reveal their solid songwriting chops allowed for more clarity and more dynamics to shine through. To their ears, the mood, the core of the lyrical content and the music are more aligned than ever before.

This record is the sound of four individuals living with more purpose and as a consequence creating with more purpose. Unself sees them reaching out to offer community, catharsis and connection. CONJURER remain true to their original mission - they’re still having fun, playing interesting heavy music - but now that music is imbued with the power that comes from opening themselves up to others, at first within the band, and now beyond.

EPICA - Reveal Live Video 'Cross The Divide (Live at Ziggo Dome Amsterdam)'

Having recently wraped up their colossal Arcane Dimensions Tour with Amaranthe and Charlotte Wessels, symphonic metal titans EPICA have unveiled an exhilarating live version of their track 'Cross The Divide', taken from their critically acclaimed, latest studio record Aspiral.

This action-packed version was recorded early this year at the band's biggest headline show to date - a sold-out night at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome in front of 10,000 fans.

Watch the video for 'Cross The Divide (Live At Ziggo Dome Amsterdam)' Below:

About EPICA:

The journey of growth follows a spiral, continuously widening and deepening with every cycle.

By sticking to this spiritual principle, symphonic metal innovators EPICA have reinvented themselves on their ninth effort Aspiral, releasing a studio album that shows a band brimming with a newfound joy in their own skin – standing united as a team, where every band member brought inspiration, ideas and years of songwriting experience to the table.

Aspiral bears testimony to this unity, but the band’s steep ascent within the past years was far from coincidental and required lots of hard work and combination of things happening after the release of their latest album Omega in the midst of a raging pandemic. After walking several steps off their usual path with their EP The Alchemy Project which saw them collaborating with artists such as MyrkurFleshgod Apocalypse or Uriah Heep, the band played a massive world tour and got invited by a certain band called Metallica for several dates, and played 4 sold out “Symphonic Synergy” shows with a massive orchestra and choir.

After diving deep into hypothetical theories, metaphysical mysticism and themes that were touching the fabric of our existence in the infinity of the universe, EPICA ’s 9th studio effort Aspiral centres on the work of sculptor Stanisław Szukalski. During the first Covid lockdown, bassist Rob van der Loo saw the documentary ‘Struggle – The Life And Lost Art Of Stanislav Szukalski’ and felt so inspired by his work that he wanted to write soundtracks for some of his sculptures, simply because each and every detail in his works are artworks on their own and their stories go very deep. And this is where the path started. Aspiral was born as an instrumental soundtrack to this world, an initially separate project that over time metamorphosed into the new EPICA record.

The title comes from a bronze statue Szukalski did in 1965. If you take a close look, you can see snails rebuilding elements out of the mud in cycles and this eventually leads to civilization and a woman reaching out to the sun. It stands for renewal and inspiration – keywords that define EPICA now.

For more than 20 years now, EPICA  have been standing tall. And while already their last efforts clearly showcased their commitment to the game, it is Aspiral that truly distils the very heart of their trademark sound.

Available Formats:

MCD in Digipak
12" Vinyl Jacket - Black
12" Coloured Vinyl Jacket - Crystal Clear w/ White & Black Splatters

"Misery Repeat" opens with a VHS-era recording in Ukrainian confirming that the first session of the DVRK program has been completed, and that what follows will be harder, faster and without mercy.

DVRK do not present themselves as a band so much as a system; a global organisation running its subjects through escalating trials, its reach extending across languages and borders. French, Japanese and other tongues will carry future transmissions, each one pulling the listener deeper into a mythology that has no clear center and no visible end. At its core, beneath the architecture of the program, is something altogether more human: a man consumed by a love that has become indistinguishable from ruin, drinking himself numb, unable to surface. The program frames him. The song does not spare him.

"Misery Repeat" was produced by Fabien Letren and Bastien Deleule and recorded by Bastien Deleule at Nalcon Studio. The song was mixed and mastered by Eloi Nicod at Craftline Studio. The artwork was created by Cédric Faullummel.

The visuals for “Misery Repeat” were created by Ahleesi Mathis / @sinpievisuals.

Don’t miss DVRK when they tour Japan next week with Obscura and Fallujah. The band will also join Obscura next year on a tour of Europe and the UK alongside Pestilence, Cryptic Shift and Thus.

DVRK The Sun Eater 2026 Japan Tour

with Obscura and Fallujah

DVRK is a French five-piece operating at the intersection of deathcore, nu-metal, and electronic bass music. Formed in 2019 as a solo project, the band has since expanded into a full ensemble featuring Julian Wilt on vocals, Bastien Deleule and Gérald Audiard on guitars, Fabien Letren on bass, and Vincent Vidal on drums.

From the outset, DVRK has operated less like a conventional band and more like a system—a constructed world with its own logic, language, and escalating narrative. Each release functions as a transmission, drawing listeners deeper into a mythology that frames the project as a global program running its subjects through increasingly demanding sessions. The debut EP, Infinite Reminiscence, released via Season of Mist, established the framework. "Misery Repeat" marks the beginning of what comes next.

Past collaborations include Conquer Divide, Cove Reber, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, and Hyro the Hero.

Line-up:

Julian Wilt — Vocals

Bastien Deleule — Guitar

Gérald Audiard — Guitar

Fabien Letren — Bass

Vincent Vidal — Drums
