TREV LUKATHER to release single THE SOUND ,Today

'The Sound' is the first official single released off of Trev Lukather’s forthcoming debut solo album.  'The Sound' is a retro, modern 80s arena anthem with a strong message behind it.

Lukather about the song:
“The Sound is about hope of unity during a brutal time of division. We are so lost in our phones and ourselves. Lack of communication. War. Loss of freedom. Loss of human rights. Racism. Political meltdowns. Misinformation. Deadly earthquakes. We are derailing literally and figuratively. I wanted to send a message of how we are all on this floating speck in the universe together trying to find the meaning of why we are here. The reality is, no one is better than anyone else. We are on the same level. If that was more clear to everyone, we wouldn’t have so much hate in our hearts. If we knew how small we are, it would be liberating, not debilitating.”

Lukather on the inspiration behind the music video:
“I was in an Uber and my driver was a young woman from Iran. She was telling me about all of the struggles the people, especially what the women were going through over there.  I couldn’t even wrap my head around it. She reached out again on social media begging me to raise awareness because I had a following. I thought to myself, what can I do? I’m just a musician from LA. A post is not going to make a difference but maybe a song with a visual explanation will. At the same time, we have all of the things listed above with what the song is about. The video also shows the message of unity as well. Heroic acts of people putting their life on the line to pull people out of rubble. It strikes a nerve. It hits home. To be honest, I’ve never been more proud of anything that I’ve done.”

About Trev Lukather:
Los Angeles native Trev Lukather comes from rock royalty. Having grown up with Steve Lukather (Toto) as his father, he was raised and surrounded by music his whole life. At an early age he started to self teach by watching some of the greats while out on the road. At the age of 12 he was on stage playing in front of 20,000 people at the Toto reunion tour and from that day forward knew that he was going to be a professional musician. He got his first professional gig at the age of 17, working with Lindsay Lohan as her guitarist and Musical Director. Following that he worked with Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper/Hollywood Vampires/Crossbone Skully) which led him to Atlantic Records and writing for the debut album of arena rock band Halestorm. Since then he has gone on to become a well known touring musician, session musician, writer and producer working with many established acts such as Dorothy, Classless Act, Amber Van Day, and Blind Channel. He has also started a few of his own projects along the way, including Levara (formerly ZFG) who signed to Mascot Records and toured the world booked by X-Ray Touring and Artist Group International.

In 2023, Trev is looking to the future and focusing on his debut solo album titled “Invisible Friends” and his other passion of producing albums. “Invisible Friends” debut album is set to be released in the Fall of 2023 and features special guest musicians like Abe Laboriel Jr (Paul McCartney), Josh Paul (Daughtry), Bryce Soderberg (Lifehouse), Hector Maldanado (Train) Jake Hayden (Dorothy)  and Steve Maggiora (Toto) to name a few.

More important than any of the impressive stats above, Trev is driven by his innate desire to provide an escape for other people to forget about their problems and build a connection that lasts forever. And all of this while having fun!  Join him on his journey and get ready to be inspired and amazed…and have your abs hurt from laughing all the way through the process as the one thing not mentioned here is very obvious: there is hardly a funnier and more life-embracing cat than Trev! Let’s go!

Miranda's New Title: NY TIMES Best Selling Author; Y'ALL EAT YET? is No. 3

Y’ALL EAT YET? IS A NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLER

Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin Kitchen Debuts at No. 3

Miranda Lambert’s Memoir/Lifestyle Book Lands Definitively
Behind Only Atomic Habits and The Creative Act on the How To, Advice & Misc. Chart

Texas Book Signing at the Pink Pistol Tuesday, May 9

Lambert to Appear on HBO Max/CNN’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” Tomorrow, May 5
+ ABC’s “Good Morning America” Thursday, May 11 Ahead of ACM Awards on Prime Video That Evening

Miranda Lambert is many things: songwriter, dog lover, wife, daughter, superstar, friend, restauranteur, business woman, and Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year. Now she can add New York Times Best Selling author to the list as Y’ALL EAT YET? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen lands at No. 3 on the paper’s wildly eclectic How To, Advice & Miscellaneous Books list.

“OMG y’all! I just got a call from my publishers that Y’ALL EAT YET? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen is No. 3 on the New York Times Best Selling list,” Lambert shared excitedly with fans. “I can’t actually believe that. I’m so grateful and just - I can’t believe it. It’s for my Nonny in Heaven. She’s partying tonight; I know it. And I’m just beside myself that people would want to hear our stories and join our sisterhood. This is crazy. So, thanks to everybody who bought it and who is reading it. I love y’all - welcome to the tribe!”

Written with veteran music critic Holly Gleason, Y’ALL EAT YET? merges memoir with a cookbook to celebrate multi-generational female friendship and the way those relationships empower people, especially women, to savor the good times, survive the struggle and laugh when the going gets tough. Tracing her journey from childhood to superstardom, Lambert marks the moments with recipes that include Whiskey Cupcakes, French Toast Casserole, Heidi’s Spiced Hot Crackers, Bev’s Chicken Salad, Nonny’s Banana Pudding and “the one thing that’ll get the ring” The Loaf.

“I think everybody’s life is marked by those delicious flavors of what you ate during special times,” Lambert explains. “The memories, the stories and the things you eat kind of mingle together, or maybe the meals and the snacks are the things that you can go back to that make the memories come back to life.

“I just know: there’s an awful lot of love in Neicy’s gumbo, Vicki’s deviled eggs, my Dad’s green beans, Nonny’s tuna salad. You take a bite, and it all comes rushing back. In a world that moves so fast, where we’re often just trying to keep up with ourselves, the power of sitting down to something made by hand – often while you’re sitting around a table of people you love – is a superpower we forget.

“So, I wanted to make it easy. Put that superpower in reach of all the bad ass girls and young women, guys on their own and people thinking they can’t. Because I promise: if I can, you can. If you can’t, you know someone who can. And there are all kinds of stories of parties, Airstreams and cocktails, too!”

Sitting behind only the multiple-year NYT best seller Atomic Habits and Rick Rubin’s recently-released The Creative Act, Lambert shares the chart with perennial best sellers The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck and newcomers The Wisdom of the Bull Frog, Rainn Wilson’s Soul Boom, Comedy Bang! Bang! The PodcastLove and Lemons Simple Feel Good Food and Tasting History. In addition, Lambert tops Amazon’s Country Music Books list, arriving ahead of Lucinda Williams’ Don’t Tell Anybody the Secrets I Told You, Dolly Parton’s Songteller: My Life in Lyrics, multiple Willie Nelson books including the upcoming Energy Follows Thought: The Stories Behind My Songs, Johnny Cash’s Cash: The Autobiography, the audio book of Loretta Lynn’s Coal Miner’s Daughter and Be More Taylor Swift: Fearless Advice.

With Texas Monthly raving “it’s a Texan’s dream” and Forbes calling it a “celebration,” Lambert heads to the Pink Pistol in her hometown of Lindale, Texas for her final book signing on Tuesday, May 9. While home, the woman who told Seth Meyers about making plastic bag omelets will also appear on “Good Morning America” alongside the woman behind the famous Loaf – her mom, Bev – as part of their Mother’s Day walk up coverage on Thursday, May 11 ahead of the Academy of Country Music Awards, livestreamed on Prime Video from Frisco, Texas that evening, where she is a five-time nominee (Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year – artist and producer, Artist-Songwriter of the Year) and will perform during the show.

As Shondaland declared, “Miranda Lambert’s Secret Ingredient is Sisterhood” and Rolling Stone notes that Y’ALL EAT YET  “sees the singer opening up her heart and home in more intimate ways than ever before.” Eating Wellconcurred, “Reading her new cookbook will make you feel like you’re part of her family,” and Southern culture monthly Garden & Gun praised the book “dedicated to her tight-knit clan of women and the laughter, comfort and good food they fill spaces with.”

Even the trades agree. Publishers Weekly writes, “Lambert uses stories of food to celebrate friendship, good times, and the importance of kinship,” while Booklist boils it down to “quite simply, will enchant.”

Y’ALL EAT YET: Welcome to The Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen is available at retailers and stores across the country including Walmart, Target, Buc-ee’s, Cracker Barrel, Kroger and Whole Foods, Nashville’s Parnassus Books, plus online HERE.

Don’t Believe in Ghosts are an alternative indie pop band formed and based in New York City. Led by singer, songwriter, and producer Steven Nathan, the group features Dan DelVecchio on guitar, Alex Goumas on bass, and Ken Yang on drums.

The band signed with Imagen Records/Warner ADA, some achievements include singles at alternative radio stations across the country, 2+ million plays on Retail Radio, charting at #2 on All Access, and song features on many other TV shows, including “Ink Master” and “The U.S. Open”. The band has been featured in American Songwriter, Kings of A&R, and Alternative Press Magazine, who included them in their “40 Artists You Need to Hear” list. They’ve also been on multiple tours, played alongside COIN in the MidWest, and were invited to perform at “The Gathering” Radio Convention in Cleveland in 2021. In 2022 the band scored the soundtrack to the TV show ‘The Heart Of Saint Francis’ which was also directed and edited by lead singer Steven Nathan.

“Don’t give energy to the ghosts of your past," says Steven Nathan when describing the meaning behind the bands' name. “Worrying about what other people may think can be draining and debilitating.” Don’t Believe In Ghosts amplifies this theme throughout their music, which is honest, inventive, and meaningful. The result is a catalog of songs that are ambitious, yet relatable.

VENUES SHARE VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE "HAUNTED HOUSE" — WATCH

German post-hardcore experience VENUES let the chains cattle and release their brand new single "Haunted House," out now worldwide, following their critically acclaimed album Solace and previous singles "Reflections" + "Cravings."

Watch the video below.

Lela says, "If you know the feeling of being trapped in a situation that doesn't bring good prospects, but still have the urge to get out of it, you can empathize very well with the story behind 'Haunted House.' For me, it is a challenge to myself to recognize bad positions and leave them behind as quickly as possible."

Robin states, "The shooting with Marius Milinski was, as always, a lot of fun. However, we used real metal chains for the video and they hurt quite a bit. Everyone of us had bruises after the shooting."

In 2021, Venues dropped the critically acclaimed album Solace

For their most recent album VENUES went into the studio with producer Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay) to record Solace, who coated their massive sound with a metallic alloy of remarkable precision.

"We wanted to be more metal," Robin comments. "There were some pop sensibilities of Aspire we wanted to replace with rather the opposite."

Melody and punch-drunk heaviness, metal and alternative rock, zeitgeist and authenticity, barbed choruses and unleashed creativity: with their soaring sophomore release, VENUES fulfill every single promise they gave on Aspire.

"2020 showed all of us how much the band is helping us keep our sanity," vocalist Robin muses. "Almost the whole band went through minor or medium crises since the release of our debut. Relationships went sour, things were ended and begun. In times like these, our second album was the light at the end of the tunnel. Something we all could look forward to. Our music held our heads above water."

It’s a big leap, going from Aspire to Solace, and it’s a logical one, too. Ten songs, ten exorcisms of negative energy, ten lifesavers.

Based out of Iowa, Telekinetic Yeti is a two-man band that delivers sonic brutality melded with psychedelic doom wizardry, forged by the worship of the almighty riff and honed by relentless touring and dedication to their craft.

Creating music as cryptically enchanting as it is heavy, you wouldn't guess that the impressive cacophony pouring out of the speakers like molten, metal syrup is being produced by only two people. Founder and guitarist Alex Baumann explains, “Originally I decided not to have a bass player purely for logistical reasons, it was just another schedule to work around, another person who’s boss could tell us we can’t tour, but then I started seeing it as a challenge, like let’s see how heavy we can make it with just two people.” That started grabbing peoples attention.

Relentless touring and playing pretty much any club that would have them, the band set sail on their epic voyage, selling their debut album Abominable out of their van and cutting their teeth in the underground playing hundreds of shows. All the while receiving rave reviews of their live performance as well as their first release, which landed at #2 on the doom charts and stayed right there for months. The Sludgelord called the eight-song album “a f***ing monster from start to finish,” and The Obelisk, including the album in their year-end, best of list, dubbed it the “debut of the year,” and said “it could have been another band’s second or third record for the level of cohesion on display.”

The video for “Stoned and Feathered” racked up nearly a few hundred thousand views and counting. It was at this time that Telekinetic Yeti caught the attention of Ozzy Osbourne bass player, Blasko, who named Abominable on his “5 favorites” list.

People were starting to catch on, and soon thereafter Telekinetic Yeti would be invited to tour extensively with some of the best heavy rock bands in the business, including Clutch, Black Label Society, Red Fang and Weedeater.

Now the band finds itself in a much different, auspicious position, and with the help of famed producer Phillip Cope (Baroness, Kylesa, Damad, Black Tusk et al), Telekinetic

Yeti returns with their eagerly-anticipated, second full-length album, Primordial. With this release, the band takes their game to a whole new level. Primordial explores themes as diverse as evolution, sorcery, black magic and the contradictions of the gloriously uplifting yet simultaneously melancholic human condition. " I wanted to write something that was an appropriate intro to the album, that brought to mind an early earth setting and featured atmospheric elements as well as some droning, sparse simplicity and lyrically, simple imagery regarding the dawn of humankind and creation of the first tools." Explains Baumann of the title track.

As it unfolds, the album evolves into a cathartic exploration turning themes into tangible sounds and haunting fugues. Says Baumann regarding the inspiration behind “Beast”: "This song is about wanting to escape the societal constraints that keep us on the wheel, toiling away, indefinitely. Its also about questioning authority figures, or really anyone that claims to have all the answers."

Matured songwriting, creatively brutal riffs and an exercise in monstrous tones make this listen an immersive experience taking you back to explore and appreciate the primordial ooze that we all came from. Telekinetic Yeti has partnered with stalwart Indie label, Tee Pee Records.

SCAR SYMMETRY - Release Video For "Chrononautilus"

Swedish prog metal masters SCAR SYMMETRY have released the video for 'Chrononautilus,' the second single from their first studio album in nine years The Singularity (Phase II - Xenotaph).

Watch the video for 'Chrononautilus' and stream on all services below.

Pre-order The Singularity (Phase II - Xenotaph) now at:
https://scarsymmetry.bfan.link/xenotaph

Per Nilsson comments: "Phase II and its opening track 'Chrononautilus' picks up where Phase I and its final track 'Technocalyptic Cybergeddon' left off with a barrage of blastbeats and tremolo-picked riffs, setting the tone for what is arguably our most unrelenting album to date. The dystopian storyline that we created for Phase II dictated the musical direction and 'Chrononautilus' represents one of our furthest explorations into these pitch black realms."

Formed in Sweden in 2004, SCAR SYMMETRY were a unique proposition from the start. Although clearly owing a debt to the pioneering melodic death metal bands of the ‘90s, guitarist Per Nilsson and his comrades were walking their own evolutionary path. As showcased on 2005 debut Symmetric In Design, the band were driven by fervently progressive and proudly melodic instincts, infusing their often brutal riffs and arrangements with wild, futuristic atmospherics, and sublime, emotional melodies that always hit their targets with ruthless precision.

As SCAR SYMMETRY moved forward, their music continued to evolve in tandem. They joined forces with Nuclear Blast Records for 2006’s breakthrough opus Pitch Black Progress (2006), and have since amassed an extraordinary catalogue of forward-thinking but irrevocably crushing modern metal. From the glossy, hyper-melodic barrage of Holographic Universe(2008), to the immaculate thunder of The Unseen Empire (2011) and the astonishing, cosmic odyssey that is The Singularity (Phase I - Neohumanity) (2014). the Swedes have blown minds and enhanced their reputation with every artistic step.

Roberth Karlsson - Vocals
Lars Palmqvist - Vocals
Per Nilsson - Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards

Eric Church Unveils Outsider Spirits in Partnership with Raj Alva: Introducing Whiskey JYPSI

OUTSIDERS SPIRITS – CO-FOUNDED BY
CMA ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR AND 10-TIME GRAMMY NOMINEE ERIC CHURCH – TO UNVEIL NEW WHISKEY

Introducing Whiskey JYPSI

Eric Church and Partner Raj Alva Collaborate with Award-Winning
Whiskey Maker Ari Sussman to Create a Disruptive New Brand for the
“JYPSI Spirit” in All of Us

With a slogan of “Tradition Reimagined,” Whiskey JYPSI leans forward through thoughtful innovation and a reconstruction of traditional practices… but with a contemporary twist…Creating unique whiskeys of stunning character, individuality, and pedigree.
It’s more than Tradition Reimagined. It is the Whiskey JYPSI way…and that way is intrepid.

Outsiders Spirits unveiled its premiere release today—a bold, new best-in-class spirit that friends and company co-founders Eric Church and entrepreneur Raj Alva have named Whiskey JYPSI - a contemporary interpretation of the “JYPSI Spirit” in all of us that seeks adventure and deeper meaning.

The first release, Whiskey JYPSI’s Legacy Batch 001, recently winning the Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, is based on a traditional bourbon mash bill. However, instead of blending the grains before fermentation, or sourcing from the usual geographies, Whiskey JYPSI lived up to its name - sourcing individual aged whiskey components from various origins, then scientifically blending them to recreate the mash bill.

The Outsiders partners took a hands-on approach to every aspect of their new whiskey, creating and curating everything from inception to release - from taste, packaging and marketing to point of view. With Whiskey JYPSI, the brand has set out to not only create the finest whiskey, but also to inspire.

“Whiskey JYPSI celebrates doing things the unconventional way. It’s the commitment to the creative spirit, the process and the journey that excite me the most,” says Church. “It’s meant to inspire others to take chances like we have – follow a different path and enjoy and experience life at its fullest.”

Whiskey JYPSI has partnered with ReserveBar to make Legacy Batch 001 available in 38 states and with an SRP of $199.99. Due to state legalities, alcohol cannot be shipped to the following states: TN, AL, AK, GA, HI, KS, MA, MI, MS, OR, UT, VT. Retailers in TN will carry product while supplies last. For more information visit www.whiskeyjypsi.com.

As serious whiskey enthusiasts but not yet experts in making it, Outsiders sought the help of experienced masters in the art and science of the spirit who could reimagine the traditional whiskey industry conventions - and bring a series of rich, complex blends of whiskey and bourbon to life in a variety of releases over time. After meetings with various master distillers and blenders, they chose Ari Sussman for their first release.

“I was excited to work with these guys because it all centered on quality and creativity,” Sussman notes. “There were no rules or parameters. It just had to be the finest whiskey possible. Period.”

Sussman is the former head of Spirits Development at the Artisan Distilling Program at Michigan State University, and an award-winning whiskey maker. He also has a bit of the JYPSI Spirit in him. Before he entered the whiskey world, Ari worked in the vineyards of Bordeaux, raised ostriches and grew almonds with Bedouin tribes, and lived in an Israeli kibbutz.

Recognizing that extraordinary whiskeys are created every day all over the world, Sussman took Church’s lead in departing from industry conventions, with groundbreaking new processes destined to disrupt the category and lead to extraordinary whiskey experiences.

“Eric’s music led the way to JYPSI’s unique mix,” says Sussman. “I immersed myself in Eric’s music, thinking it just might influence my process,” adds Sussman. “What I discovered was a rich, diverse blend of music and an artist who doesn't conform to the usual norms. That inspired me, so I took that road in creating the premiere batch of Whiskey JYPSI.”

The rest of the Whiskey JYPSI team followed suit. From the patented bottle design inspired by traditional copper pot stills, to the untraditionally produced liquid itself – everything had to be best-of-breed. Whiskey JYPSI’s Legacy 001 release promises to be just the first of many expressions at various price points.

NEW ALBUM ABEYANCE OUT FRIDAY, JUNE 16

Abeyance: A state of temporary disuse or inactivity.

Adelaide's alt. return today with a towering new single, "APEP," featuring Void Of Vision vocalist Jack Bergin. Taken from alt.'s upcoming album ABEYANCE, due out June 16 via Resist Records in Australia and SharpTone Records for the rest of the world, "APEP" charges at chaos and corruption with a futuristic sonic glove.

Watch the video below.

Showcasing yet another side of the explosive new alt. chapter, alongside previous singles "WRAITH," "THE GREAT DEPRESSION," and "A.D.D," "APEP" explodes alongside a razor-sharp emulsion of towering soundscapes, anthemic stomps, and colossal vocal interplay between Bergin and alt.'s Daniel Richards.

Also accompanied by a gritty music video that heightens the track's glowering, powerhouse snarl, "APEP" is a stadium-ready moment from alt. that will keep you coming back for more.

"'APEP' is the Egyptian god of chaos and he is consuming our world," shares Richards. "We see his impacts through the pandemic, our corrupt governments, and social media being used as a weapon to divide people. We need to realize we are not the enemy — we haven't done this to ourselves or each other. We are being used and its time to stand up and fight or this chaos will devour us all."

ABEYANCE finds alt. emerging from a turbulent few years armed with rejuvenated focus and ferocity, set to stupefy the senses, and catapult one of the city of churches' brightest stars further into the spotlight.

Working on ABEYANCE alongside Marcus Bridge (Northlane), Landon Tewers (The Plot In You), Zach Britt (Dream On, Dreamer), and Trenton Woodley (Hands Like Houses), producer Callan Orr also returned after his work on alt.'s 2020 debut EP dysfunctional — and the end result is nothing short of astonishing.

“Every now and again cancer steps into our world and pulverizes the lives of people that are dear to us,” Claypool commented. “Such a thing happened a while back with our good friend Jimmy Hayward. Over the past couple years Jimmy has undergone many major surgeries to remove then reconstruct major damage from a cancer that invaded his bones. With a wife and two very young children at hand, Jimmy has shown incredible courage and tenacity in an unbelievably challenging time.”

Claypool is currently gearing up for a massive 41-date Summer of Green Tour 2023 with the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, which marks the band’s first appearances together in 20-years. Kicking off in Stateline, NV on Wednesday, May 17th before winding its way from coast-to-coast, the tour will feature several festival appearances, including the Summer Camp Music Festival, the Mountain Music Festival, the Riverbend Music Festival, and the Peach Music Festival. Featuring Les Claypool (bass), Sean Lennon (guitar), Harry Waters (keys), Paulo Baldi (drums), Mike Dillon (percussion), and Skerik (horns), the set will include a full performance of Pink Floyd’s iconic tenth studio album ‘Animals,’ which was famously captured on the band’s second 2001 live recording ‘Live Frogs Set 2.’

Select June performances will include a co-headlining set with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew’s ‘Remain In Light’ Tour, which finds the Talking Heads members performing songs from a monumental period of the band’s history alongside a powerhouse band. Additional support throughout the tour include Fishbone, Neal Francis, Budos Band, W.I.T.C.H., and Moon Duo.

The return of the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade follows Primus’ wildly popular ‘A Tribute To Kings’ Tour, paying tribute to Rush, which toured the country in 2022. Last year also saw the release of Primus’ first new music in more than five years, the sprawling 3-song ‘Conspiranoid’ EP, which included the epic 11-minute opening track, “Conspiranoia,” and second single, “Follow The Fool.”

Dance Gavin Dance Announce Swanfest 2023

Following the huge, sell-out success of Swanfest 2022, the one-day festival headlined and curated by Dance Gavin Dance, has today announced the festival's first ever East Coast edition, taking place at Mann Center, in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, October 1st. General admission tickets available on Friday, May 5th, with a limited-time early bird pricing of $59.99 from DGDSwanfest.com.

The festival's third year marks the first-ever East Coast Swanfest and will feature a robust package of amazing bands (TBA in the coming weeks) alongside Dance Gavin Dance.

Dance Gavin Dance will perform an extended set containing a diverse collection of their catalog, including some rarely played songs, the classic bangers, and select tunes from their highly acclaimed latest release, “Jackpot Juicer."

Speaking on today's announcement, Will Swan of Dance Gavin Dance shares:

“We’re excited to bring Swanfest to the east coast for the first time. It means a lot to have so much support from our fans that we can create this experience and bring together a diverse community of music lovers for one epic night.”

Since their inception in 2005, Dance Gavin Dance has steadily built a huge cult following. Blending complex instrumentation with huge poppy choruses and raw, aggressive screams, they have fathered an entire genre of their own characterized by their signature combination of elements of post-hardcore, math-rock, progressive-rock, and post-rock. This has become aptly named 'Swancore' after the band's virtuoso guitarist, Will Swan and his record label Blue Swan Records.

This was the inspiration for the first-ever Swanfest which took place in 2019 at City National Grove of Anaheim. Headlined and curated by Dance Gavin Dance, the event was a phenomenal sell-out success, seeing over 7,000 fans in attendance - a rare feat for a festival in its first year. For its triumphant return in 2022, Swanfest took over Heart Health Park, in Dance Gavin Dance's hometown of Sacramento, CA - this time seeing 11,000 fans in attendance.

General admission tickets available on Friday, May 5th, with a limited-time early bird pricing of $59.99 from DGDSwanfest.com. Stay tuned for more Swanfest news soon.

Dance Gavin Dance released their latest album, 'Jackpot Juicer', back in July and ushered in the bands most successful week one sales ever, topping multiple charts and landing the band on the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 (#8) for the first time ever. The band released four singles prior to the album dropping - “Synergy” feat. Rob Damiani of Don Broco, “Pop Off”, "Die Another Day", "Cream of The Crop" and "Feels Bad Man". To date the album has clocked up 68 million streams and 8.2 million YouTube views since release.

About Dance Gavin Dance:

Rejecting tired formulas at every step, Dance Gavin Dance merge progressive rock and post-hardcore with thick groove, brilliantly combining experimental music with hooks and a warped sense of humor. The group has amassed over 1.6 billion global streams, and 1.4 million album equivalent units sold across their catalog in the US alone. With hundreds of thousands of rabid fans engaged with Dance Gavin Dance on socials and their very own festival event, Swanfest, which sold out its inaugural edition in 2019 and is slated to see a triumphant return in 2022 in the band's hometown of Sacramento this April, it all amounts to a full force band facing a mainstream that has overlooked them for too long.

As the undeniable statistics keep mounting up, the fact becomes more and more clear that Dance Gavin Dance are becoming one of this generation's most popular and enduring forces from the world of heavy music. As Pollstar put it "Sacramento, Calif.-based Dance Gavin Dance is not just any band."

ERDVE Reveals Unnerving Music Video for Brand New Single, "Neigti"

Experimental sludge outfit ERDVE is now dropping a brand new single, "Neigti!" The band is debuting the single along with an unnerving music video! As one can expect from this Lithuanian band, the song and video are both intense, mesmerizing and uncompromising. Watch and listen below.

ERDVE comments: "'Neigti' in Lithuanian means ''Deny'.' The song and video is about denial as a collective mindset, where fundamental moral beliefs form the basis of a social identity. In this case, those beliefs cannot be challenged, otherwise the whole understanding of one's existential identity is at stake. Facing the truth would mean the loss of that identity, therefore considered a threat by itself. This poses a great challenge and lack of judgement of current geopolitical problems and is one of the reasons why, for example, an unjust war is not being seen for what it is by the majority of society of the country who started the war."

"Neigti" can be streamed on all digital platforms HERE.

ERDVE previously released the album 'Savigaila' July 23, 2021 via Season of Mist and can be heard in full HERE.

Crushing insanity drips atmospherically out of every crack on 'Savigaila', experimenting with elements from hardcore, sludge, and black metal.

When ERDVE formed in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius in 2016, the band had a clear aesthetic vision of creating a unique heavy sound that experimented with elements from hardcore, sludge, and black metal – yet was not bound by any unwritten “rules” surrounding those genres. ERDVE’s members had already been active in their local scene and performed in various acts such as NYKSTA, SRAIGĖS EFEKTAS, and SPIRALE. A self-made tape version of their debut made its rounds in underground circles and the Lithuanians received the rare honour of being picked straight out of the dreaded demo pile by virtue of their musical strength and compelling quality.

The core ideas behind ERDVE are translated into lyrics, visuals, and sound by in-depth reflection on concepts such as domestic violence, utmost disgusting behaviour, crimes against humanity, and extremism. Their debut album 'Vaitojimas', released in 2018 by Season of Mist, delivered exactely that!

The new offering 'Savigaila', which translates as "self-pity", revolves around overcoming the numbness within the great challenges of unsettling reality, and accepting them as they are. Regret, envy, self-regard, love, care and togetherness. From completely understandable to the most unreasonable sense. This idea is turned into melodies, rhythm, and sound by ERDVE on the bands upcoming sophomore album.

But make no mistake, ERDVE successfully transformed these melodies into a new unnerving experience on how THEY perceive life and with 'Savigaila', you may find that enjoying life, can be entirely implausible...

Join ERDVE on their next journey into the Baltic darkness!

HAMMERFALL Present Lyric Video For Remixed & Remastered Version Of "Riders Of The Storm"

No matter how much everything changes in culture and the world at large, heavy metal endures. It empowers, engages, and engenders strength, ultimately it outlasts fads. The same can be said for HAMMERFALL.

Today, the band is proud to release their 20-Year Anniversary Edition of “Crimson Thunder.”

The fourth studio album has been remixed and remastered by Fredrik Nordstrom, this definitive version includes previously unreleased pre-production tracks, a brand-new medley and live acoustic songs.

To celebrate the release, the band presents us with a brand-new video for the medley.

Guitarist Oscar Dronjak comments: "The medley is a five minute celebration of the full album, with parts from well-known as well as never-before-played tracks, and is a highlight for both artist and audience every night."

Watch the medley video below.

Tarja's Outlanders Project Shares "A Peaceful Place (Return To The Oasis)" — LISTEN

BAND ANNOUNCES LONG-AWAITED ALBUM TO BE RELEASED ON JUNE 23 VIA EARMUSIC — PRE-ORDER HERE

OUTLANDERS
is the unique project of Finnish soprano legend Tarja Turunenand EDM pioneer Torsten Stenzel.

They worked on the album for over 10 years and had support from some of the most influential guitarists of our time. Each song features a special guitarist as a guest including Al Di Meola, Trevor Rabin, Joe Satriani, Jennifer Batten, Steve Rothery, Mike Oldfield, Walter Giardino, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Vernon Reid, and Marty Friedman. Seven tracks have already been pre-released digitally.

Now, the long-awaited album will be released on June 23 on CD and "blue curacao" limited edition vinyl.

OUTLANDERS have succeeded in creating something exciting and new: the music combines relaxed but exciting electronic beats with Tarja's emotional, classically trained voice and unique guitar performances. The sound is mysterious, gentle and yet powerful, catchy and dreamy, modern and classic at the same time. The music contains opposites that attract each other in a magical way.

The eighth track "A Peaceful Place (Return To The Oasis)" with Walter Giardino as special guest is available on all digital platforms and as limited collector's edition on 7" vinyl exclusively in Tarja's online store.

Hazing Over Announce "Tunnel Vision" EP + Share Video for Title Track — WATCH

BUZZING EXTREME METAL OUTFIT HAZING OVER SIGN WITH 1126 RECORDS

ANNOUNCE TUNNEL VISION EP OUT JULY 7

Following widespread acclaim from the likes of Stereogum and Brooklyn Vegan, buzzing Pittsburgh extreme metal enigma Hazing Over will unleash their new Tunnel Vision EP on July 7 via 1126 Records. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band has shared the video for the title track.

Guitarist and songwriter Owen Traynor says, "We wanted to dive further into the chaos and suffocation that comes with our music, but with more hardcore influence. Over time, we've been shedding our math-y, deathcore origins in favor of something just as heavy, but more memorable. There are some tracks we have rewritten riff for riff. We did whatever was necessary to make these songs the best they could be."

This time around, the group teamed up with producer Taylor Young [Twitching Tongues, God’s Hate] and recorded the six-track collection at The Pit Recording Studio in Van Nuys, CA. During this time, the band leveled up from every angle. They sharpened their sound with throat-slitting hooks, hardcore grooves, and even moments of clean singing on the standout "Disavowed." Elsewhere, "Tunnel Vision" illuminates the band’s knack for a mind-numbing metallic barrage, while "Tightrope Walker" never relents with 65 seconds of pure bloodletting.

About Jelly Roll
Outright genre-bending singer/songwriter Jelly Roll has quietly been building a remarkable career, under the radar and on his own terms. Since his days selling his mix tapes out of his car, he has constantly been releasing new music, touring relentlessly, consistently topping various iTunes charts, engaging a rabid fanbase and creating videos that have amassed more than 4 Billion views on YouTube. He pairs deeply personal lyrics with music that blends Old-school Rap, Classic Rock, Country and Soul to create music that is therapeutic, raw and tackles the heaviness in life. His 2020 single “Save Me” — a confessional, vulnerable expression of self-doubt set the stage for his new season of life and took him to new heights, with more than 160 million views on YouTube and Platinum certification from the RIAA. Born and raised in Nashville’s Antioch neighborhood, the former addict and drug dealer released his album Ballads of the Broken in 2021, ahead of his sold-out hometown show at the famous Ryman Auditorium, which sold out in under an hour. The introspective 10-track album shows Jelly Roll’s growth as an artist and man, drawing from his personal experiences to tell the story of a man who has been through the ringer and isn’t afraid to share his raw truth, featuring his multi-week No. 1 Rock hit “Dead Man Walking” and his No. 1 Country debut single “Son of a Sinner.” Now after a history-making “breakthrough year” (American Songwriter), having just sold-out Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and released the riveting anthem “Need A Favor” along with the soul-stirring ballad “She” from his highly anticipated forthcoming album, WHITSITT CHAPEL, the reigning No. 1 of Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart for 25 weeks is well on his way to mainstream, multi-genre stardom.

About Opry NextStage
Developed by Opry Entertainment Group and the Grand Ole Opry, Opry NextStage invests in the discovery of new artists with featured original content, an Opry performance and support across the brand’s platforms to help tell their stories and expand their audiences. For nearly a century, the Grand Ole Opry has created opportunities for artists throughout the Country music spectrum to make strong connections with fans and fellow artists – on its stages and across its channels – from terrestrial radio to network television to the digital universe and to Circle Network. The Opry has helped launch the careers of countless artists, including Roy Acuff, Garth Brooks, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Bill Monroe and Dolly Parton, to name a few. Award-winning group Little Big Town made its very first public appearance as a group on the Opry stage in 1999, and Carrie Underwood cemented a place in Country music with her first Opry appearance less than two weeks after having been named American Idol in 2005. Audiences around the world look to the Opry to showcase the very best in Country music, and it was with this tradition that Opry NextStage was created.

“The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.” - Rudyard Kipling

In an era that is designed to beat down and weaken the individual, Black Flame Eternal is an album that represents strength, empowerment, and total opposition. With mounting pressure to engage in modern societal tribalism, Cloak invokes a spiritual rebellion that exists beyond good and evil with album number three.

“All of our albums are created with a spiritual focus, dealing with how we see life, death, and everything in between. I think the earlier records dealt more with the mysteries that surrounded delving deeper into the world of dark spirituality, whereas the new material has taken what we’ve learned and used it to move forward with force,” says Cloak frontman Scott Taysom of the record’s underlying philosophy. “Black Flame Eternal is a statement of spiritual empowerment in every sense. For the first time we want people to grasp on to this sentiment, instead of keeping it completely personal within our world of Cloak. The themes and the sheer power can be felt much more within the songs that this album contains."

“Our goal is complete spiritual liberation, which is where true power and freedom exists,” he adds. “We’ve reached a point in history where people are forced to pick a side or to join a team, so to speak. Cloak stands in complete opposition to this. We aim to be a giant middle finger in the face of the empty modern world.”

While Cloak might rage against societal conventions, the Atlanta quartet embraces the rebellious and time-tested traditions of heavy metal. Whether it be the conjuring the chaotic spirit of Swedish black metal purveyors Watain and Dissection, summoning the deep, dark and sensual groove of Danzig, or evoking the raw speed and raucous energy of Motörhead, the influence of metal’s founding fathers is deep within Cloak’s DNA. Cloak’s charm, however, does not merely lie within its romanticism of the past, but rather is the way each of these genres has shaped Cloak’s own personal identity. And with Black Flame Eternal, the record sees Cloak continue to strengthen its own unique established sound.

Cloak recognizes the importance of a band’s third record, with Taysom explaining, “These influences will always be important to us, as they are some of the best and most important bands of our time. On the other hand, what is so special about getting to the third record of our career is that inspiration starts to move inwards. We had enough experience and material at this point to really know what we do best and how we can utilize these skills in the best way possible. If you look at some of the most iconic bands, their third albums were massive steps towards greatness. So to us, we feel our third record will be a very important one in our time as a band.”

The Atlantan’s evolution is evident in the fury displayed on Black Flame Eternal, which flawlessly compliments the grandiose melodic atmosphere. “This was a conscious effort. Early on before the album even started, I knew it was going to be a much more aggressive and powerful album. I wanted to take a step away from certain sounds and add a bit of brutality back in. The overall vibe matches who we are much more, so it was only fitting to move towards this sound. It almost feels like we are going back to our roots as people in certain ways,” explains Taysom.

Black Flame Eternal follows up sophomore effort The Burning Dawn, which was released in November 2019, with hell unleashing its fury on the globe just a few short months later. As plans to tour the new album around the world came to a screeching halt, the band did not stagger or falter, and instead used this gift of time to write. When reflecting upon the lost years and its impact, Taysom seemingly embraces the situation with little regrets, “Considering Cloak is a sacred space for us, these exterior things did not have as much of an impact as one might think. But it was impossible to ignore some of what was going on throughout these tumultuous years. It’s bound to affect people’s personal lives and the way the mind works during these interesting times. One thing that it did greatly affect was the fact that we could not promote The Burning Dawn properly after the one U.S. tour we did with 1349. We feel this hurt the record, but there was nothing we could do. We were one of the earliest out of the gate after venues started to open back up, and we’ve been continuing to tour in promotion of that album all the way up until now.”

Cloak utilized every minute of this time to focus on fully realizing its vision for Black Flame Eternal. “The initial stage of the writing process started in January of 2020, and lasted all the way until May 2021. It was the longest spanning album process for us so far, with many long days, nights, and weeks trying to piece the songs together the best we could.” While the record did not come together swiftly or easily, the care and attention put into its creation is evident in its powerful composition.

Making up for lost time, these road warriors have already embarked on several high profile North American tours since the autumn of 2021, commanding audiences in every major city with their chaos magick. Each performance merges the spirit of black metal with the backbone of rock ‘n’ roll as the band consistently delivers a blistering set from start to finish. Taysom describes Cloak’s live approach as “a mixture of ethereal atmosphere and total abrasive chaos. The mixture of these two opposing energies is where Cloak lies; the meeting of high and low. To us, this is where the most interesting moments happen, both emotionally and physically.”

With no borders or boundaries, Cloak is ready to embark on this new chapter as the leader of its own pack. The band bows to no one, forging its own path as one of the governing metal forces of this decade as ‘Black Flame Eternal’ promises to scorch the earth and leave its hallowed mark.

Formed in the summer of 2019, The Lonely Ones are a four piece, vocal-oriented hard rock band with an ear for melody and a taste for success. The group features Marty McCoy on guitar / vocals, Tommy Johnson on drums, Jymmy Tolland on guitar / vocals and Tru Roberts on bass / vocals. Being no strangers to the hardships of the music industry, The Lonely Ones consist of former members of Bobaflex. Together, they knew what they wanted and knew how to get it; by combining their knowledge and experiences to achieve a common goal. With determined perseverance and an energized drive to triumph, they were ready to release their first two singles independently in March of 2020; with the titles “Eternal Sadness" and "The Lonely One."

A few months after their initial introduction to the world of rock, the band decided to take a major leap of faith and release their re-imagined version of Queen's classic song "Flash." There’s always the risk of scrutiny and criticism when it comes to covering classic songs, especially ones that are still regarded with high praise from the still thriving fan base, but the band was confident their rendition would not only honor the original but also garner renewed attention for the hit theme. Any doubts were squashed when the song and video were met with rave reviews, including those of Brian May from Queen and Sam J. Jones, Flash Gordon himself.

Brian May was quoted as saying, “What a fantastic cover! I didn’t realize they were going to go into The Hero and the whole reprise ... magnificent!"

Sam J Jones adds, "This is one of the best covers I have ever heard and seen. What a gifted group - The Lonely Ones are for every one of us, from the 1980’s to right now!"

Humbled by the response from fans, listeners and legends in the entertainment industry, the band was spurred on in their pursuit to create groundbreaking original music. In September of 2020, The Lonely Ones released another brand new single titled "Real Big Trouble." What started out as a fun and creative session quickly turned out to be one of their most rewarding. This is one of the heaviest songs the band has ever written, but it also gives a look into what sounds inspire them, such as Thin Lizzy and Beartooth.

By February of 2021, the band had signed on with Imagen Records and released another single called “Change the Station.” This release had 9 active rock stations add the single in the first week and they were a feature artist on Spotify's Rock Hard editorial playlist as well as over 100 other playlists in the first week as well.

The next release through Imagen was "Dyin' All Night Long" in June of 2021. A song about an abusive relationship and how often times excuses are made over and over for that person. The lyrics come from the perspective of a victim having had enough of it.

The band released two more singles titled "Gettin' High" (2021) and “The Way Out”(2022) via Imagen Records before ultimately going independent.
The band spent the summer of 2022 getting back to the grind and writing new songs. The Lonely Ones’ latest release "Bedroom Door" in October of 2022, is one of many to be debuted in the year 2023.

The Lonely Ones have played shows with Sevendust, Nonpoint, Fozzy, Royal Bliss, Seven Year Witch, Black Top Mojo, September Mourning and many more.

In addition, the band is endorsed by: Orange Amps, Westone Audio, Pearl Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Evan's Heads, Vater Sticks, Ibanez, Frog Amplification, Tech 21 Amplification, Michael Kelly Guitars, SIT Strings, Rare Buzz Effects and Strüng, which is guitar string jewelry that raises money for music education.

The Lonely Ones are:
Marty McCoy - guitar / vocals
Tommy Johnson - drums
Jymmy Tolland - guitar / vocals
Tru Roberts- bass / vocals
