NITE is touring in support of their brand new sophomore full-length, 'Voices of the Kronian Moon,' which was released on March 25, 2022. During the album's first week, it charted Billboard's Current Hard Music Albums (#33) and Top New Artist Albums (#44). The album was also named among the best albums of 2022 by Invisible Oranges (#5) and Forgemaster Metal Reviews!

'Voices of the Kronian Moon' is available to stream, order, and download HERE.

NITE U.S. Dates (w/ PERSEKUTOR):
02/16: Oakland @ Elbo Room Jack London
02/17: Long Beach @ Supply & Demand
02/18: Hollywood @ Knucklehead [TICKETS]
02/19: San Diego @ Brick by Brick [TICKETS]

The San Francisco Bay Area has a history steeped in forward-thinking, technically dazzling metal, and NITE carries that torch with pride. Founded in 2018, their blackened heavy metal brand barrels towards the peril of an unknown future, while keeping one eye on the days when blistering leads once ruled the land. Guitarists Van Labrakis (Satan’s Wrath, Mencea) and Scott Hoffman (Dawnbringer, High Spirits) let loose galloping riffs and harmonies that evoke the classic sounds of the N.W.O.B.H.M., with Labrakis’ grizzled voice driving their dark, melodic metal into the modern era.

With Avinash Mittur (Wild Hunt) replacing founding bassist Bryan Coons in early 2021, he and drummer Patrick Crawford (Serpents of Dawn, Older Sun) make up a rhythm section that’s fierce yet breathlessly precise: a freewheel pounding reminiscent of the early days of heavy metal, with a Rickenbacker-powered roar fueling the low end. NITE’s debut full-length Darkness Silence Mirror Flame, released in March 2020 by Creator-Destructor Records, earned widespread praise. It showcased their fist-raising classic heavy metal that nearly every fan of the genre once fell in love with, but with a twisted and shadowy edge that the titans of old could never imagine. NITE is the flame of the past illuminating the darkness of tomorrow.

MISCREANCE Signs to Season of Mist

Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of MISCREANCE! The Italian old school death metal stalwarts will release their brand new album, as well as the re-issue of their 2022 release 'Convergence,' via Season of Mist!

A glimpse of things to come can be found HERE!

MISCREANCE comments on the signing: "We couldn't be happier to officially sign with SEASON OF MIST, one of the best labels in the game and clearly a big opportunity to let our sound blow a lot of speakers around the world. We're keen to let our material see the light under the new label, also considering their works with some big bands that clearly influenced us a lot such as Cynic, Atheist and Gorguts!"

In addition, the band will be embarking on a spring European tour, which will kick ff at Extreme Noise Fest (HU) on April 30. The full itinerary can be found below!

MISCREANCE is a project reborn from the ashes of Atomic Massacre. As the former band's members decided to change the course of their stylistic direction, they felt it was time for a rebirth, changing the name as well. In 2018, the band released its first demo, 'From Awareness to Creation,' which was originally co-produced by Red Wine Rites records in Switzerland and limited strictly to 100 copies.

Shortly after the demo release, the band searched for a singer and realized that drummer Andrea F. was exactly what they were looking for, so they exhumed three songs from the pre-demo era and recorded a split with death metal grindcrushers Vile Apparition (AUS), released in late 2021.

In the summer of 2021, Miscreance made its debut with its first full-length, 'CONVERGENCE,' which took almost 5 years of passion, dedication, sweating and cursing to an end. Immediately after the recording, the band parted ways with original bassist Emiliano Zinà, who has since been replaced by long time friend Jean-Claude Rossignol, who completes the band's lineup as it stands today.

Line-up

Andrea Granauro: Guitars
Jean-Claude Rossignol: Bass
Andrea Feltrin: Drums/Vocals
Tommaso Cappelletti: Guitars

Sleep Token Announce Third Album "Take Me Back to Eden" + Share "Vore" Video

SLEEP TOKEN ANNOUNCE DETAILS OF THIRD STUDIO ALBUM, TAKE ME BACK TO EDEN, SET FOR RELEASE ON MAY 19 VIA SPINEFARM

With fan worship more intense than ever, and worldwide interest and intrigue growing at runaway speed, Sleep Token are set to reach bold new heights with studio album No. 3, Take Me Back To Eden, set for release on May 19 via Spinefarm.

Take Me Back To Eden — an hour-plus of music across 12 distinctive tracks — is Part 3 of a trilogy, a spectacular chapter-closer in the ongoing Sleep Token saga — a saga that kicked off in earnest with debut album Sundowning (2019).

...Eden features probably the heaviest moments thus far recorded by Sleep Token (i.e. "Vore" + "The Summoning"), along with some of the most immediate and certainly the most emotional (i.e. "Aqua Regia"+ "DYWTYLM"), with a slew of other tones, textures, and tangents touched on in-between.

TMBTE sees Sleep Token boldly re-confirming a  true  love of the epic (the title track is eight minutes plus), while further exploring and developing those elements that keep the music removed from any kind of pack, howling at a moon that's all its own.

Pre-orders are now available across various formats, including four stunning limited vinyl pressings, exclusive cassettes, and other merch items such as t-shirts, long-sleeves, and hoodies. Pre-order here

Meanwhile, standout single "The Summoning" has already generated some 16.5 million streams globally, causing the track to trend on Twitter and take the #1 song spot on a host of international Spotify viral charts, as well as being selected as a "YouTube Trending Artist On The Rise," featuring on YouTube's home page, viewed by millions of people every day.

The unprecedented accolades keep rolling in, between the fact that Sleep Token has never played a headline show in the UK that didn't sell out, "Aqua Regia" picking up airplay on the Radio One "Future Sounds" show hosted by Clara Amfo, plus huge pop star Demi Lovato sharing Sleep Token's music with her 148 million Instagram followers, Sleep Token consistently smash boundaries that they refused to acknowledge in the first place.

And even though Sleep Token notoriously do not speak to the press (out of necessity, not ego or gimmick), media can't help but write about the phenomenon, reporting on the band's every move; NME notes "Sleep Token offer their fans an entire world to immerse themselves in if they so wish. It's a place of escapism, and the foundation of a huge fan community that’s dedicated to studying the band's creativity. While they have the same fervor as any other fandom, there's still a notable difference," while Metal Hammer called them "the most exciting band in metal right now."

LA Goth Band- The God Bands Release "Black and Yellow"

THE GOD BOMBS

RELEASE A NEW VIDEO/SINGLE

"BLACK AND YELLOW"

ft. on Lead Guitar - Chris Lorraine

The God Bombs will be opening for Orgy on 3/24 at the legendary Hollywood rock venue The Whisky A Go Go

Los Angeles, CA - '"Black and Yellow" -  is the latest video in a series of collaborations between the God Bombs and LA-based Cinematographer/Director Jason Kaplan. The truth sometimes is best conveyed through music and art, both of which this collaboration between God Bombs lead vocalist - Justin Symbol, featured guitarist - Chris Lorraine, and Cinematographer Jason Kaplan has accomplished with their single "Black and Yellow".

ABOUT "BLACK AND YELLOW":

"The video explores the horror of corporate America, where talented humans are bled of their creativity and funneled into a meaningless "hive" system of work and drudgery. The concept began with the idea to have disgruntled office workers and an overbearing boss villain who would morph into some kind of bee creature with hives sprouting out of him. I like that it weaves a horror narrative with some elements of humor in the office environment, and of course, the band rocking out in the warehouse! It was helped along by some really great extras, friends of ours who showed up for the shoot in costume! (Humberto MezaDave Leon, and more).

Make-up artist, Autumn Lee, created great beehive prosthetics, and an actor friend ended up playing the Boss in an excellent performance. I spent days crafting the custom "beehive" guitar played by Chris Lorraine in the video. Later we added a band performance scene shot in an abandoned warehouse location that Jason found, thus finalizing an incredible video!

As well, a shout out to prop mistress Nichole Carillo who designed my glowing toxic "icicle" shaped microphone! We all hope you enjoy this collaboration as much as we do!"' - Justin Symbol, singer of The God Bombs

ABOUT THE GOD BOMBS:

The band has been amassing a dedicated cult following, touring North America in recent years, including the Amerikkkant Tour supporting Ministry. Other artists they've toured with include Mushroomhead, Green Jello, The Bunny The Bear, William Control, Psyclon Nine, and Tim Skold.

They have performed at festivals around the country including Wasteland Weekend (California), Sanctuary Festival (Chicago), Apoxeast (Pennsylvania), and Nickstock (Upstate NY).

Special thanks - to Director/Cinematographer Jason Kaplan who made this video possible! I am honored by how our ongoing collaborations continue to grow and expand in scope and talent! Also to Chris Lorraine who channeled the ghost of Mr. Daisy Berkowitz with his amazing guitar leads on that fateful full-moon night in Hollywood. And of course, God Bombs bassist West Rozen, who sparked it all by writing the initial bass lines and concept for this song! Last but not least Keoki Trask, the ultimate behind-the-scenes team player who added a really cool programming and production touch that brought this song to the next level! This has turned out to be an amazing collaboration and an exciting first step toward the era known as GΩDHEAD!

Ian Munsick Releases “Dig” Off Upcoming Album WHITE BUFFALO

IAN MUNSICK RELEASES “DIG” OFF UPCOMING ALBUM
WHITE BUFFALO; LISTEN
below.

18-Song Project Due April 7; Full Track Listing
HERE

Tune-In Tomorrow, Feb. 18 for Munsick’s “My Opry Debut,”

Airing 10/9p CT on Circle Network

Raised as a ranch hand in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains, Wyoming native Ian Munsick knows the value of persistence and hard work in all aspects of life – and relationships are no exception. Munsick releases “Dig” off his upcoming project White Buffalo today (listen HERE). He penned the track alongside Jessi Alexander and Dave Villa.

The inspiration for the song’s tale first arrived to Munsick as a recurring image of digging to reach a skeleton. That image serving as the metaphorical backdrop, “Dig” details the time and dedication it takes to gain the trust, and ultimately earn the love, of the people you care about.

“Melodies have always come to me at the most inconvenient times,” Munsick shared. “In the middle of class, on airplanes and even in my sleep. Now, I’m not complaining – I just wish the universe would choose more opportune moments to strike creative lightning into my brain. A couple years ago, I dreamed up the verse melody for ‘Dig’ and, unlike most of the music I dream, I remembered it as soon as I woke up. I immediately reached for my phone and recorded it so it wouldn’t escape into my subconscious fog. I knew it was one of the best melodical phrases I had written, and I’m grateful the universe let me hang onto it.

"As a songwriter, I love pairing melodies with lyrical ideas," he continued. "This particular musical phrase was begging for a lyric that highlighted the dark string of notes, while remaining optimistic with the chorus lift. What better way to do that than working for love. In my opinion, the best kind of love is the kind that doesn’t always come easy, but the kind you have to dig for. That’s where the real gold is."

Munsick will release his sophomore album White Buffalo on April 7 via Warner Music Nashville (pre-order HERE). The 18-track ode to his homeland, which comes three years after his critically acclaimed debut Coyote Cry, serves as a raw, untamed depiction of the American West, with the white buffalo itself symbolizing the rebirth of Munsick’s artistry and life. The project has already yielded standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” with two-time CMA Award winner Cody Johnson and his most recent release “River Run.” Watch HERE to see the full track listing reveal from earlier today.

As he prepares for album launch, Munsick continues to sell out dates on the road. He recently extended his Long Live Cowgirls Tour into May 2023 with Ned LeDoux as a special guest on select dates. The run includes his first headlining arena shows at the Horizon Events Center in Clive, Iowa; Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston, Nebraska and First Interstate Arena at MetraPark in Billings, Montana, as well as his Ryman Auditorium headlining debut. The tour kicked off Jan. 20 with a sold-out show at the legendary Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas. Tickets for the run are available HERE.

Tomorrow, Feb. 18 Munsick’s “My Opry Debut” episode will air at 10/9p CT on Circle Network. Fans can re-live his standout performances of “Long Haul” and “Horses Are Faster,” which landed the rising star a standing ovation on the coveted stage.

About Ian Munsick:
A native son of Wyoming, Ian Munsick is painting a stampeding, spirited portrait of the American West with his sophomore album White Buffalo, due April 7. The 18-track album spans unfiltered tales of romance and ranch life, hard-working anthems with honky tonk hooks and mountain-time odes to family and forever-young fun. It builds upon the spacious, roots-pop beauty he introduced on his major label debut, Coyote Cry. Over the past three years, Munsick has accumulated nearly 400 MILLION global streams and a host of accolades. The 29-year-old has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, MusicRow and more. A seasoned entertainer, having grown up tending cattle by day and playing music in a family band each night, Munsick toured recently alongside country music superstars Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson. Beyond his noteworthy professional accomplishments, he has also become both a husband and a father. Now the Warner Music Nashville recording artist and multi-instrumentalist is representing his home, and its special cast of people, like never before. The first release from White Buffalo, standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown and was named one of Amazon Music’s Best Country Songs of 2022. “It feels incredible to finally be able to share ‘Giving Up On That’ with the world,” says Dover. “I performed it during my Grand Ole Opry debut, and for it to be my first official single with Mercury Records makes this song even more special to me.

“I hope everyone can relate to it, as we’ve all had those relationships where we regret not bringing our best selves to the table until it’s too late, and I hope it finds the folks that need to hear it most,” he explains.

Written by Dover with Adam Craig and Josh Pierce, “Giving Up On That” showcases the Georgia native’s sharp vocals as he pleads with a long-gone lover, recounting his previous screw-ups and outlining the steps he’s taken to prove his loyalty and his desire to try again.

Next month, Dover prepares to make his international debut at C2C: Country to Country Festival’s CMA Songwriters Series before joining Chase Rice on the Way Down Yonder Tour in April. Dover honed his captivating live show last year with two performances at CMA Fest, opening for Luke Comb’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium show in Atlanta, Ga. and joining Priscilla Block’s Welcome To The Block Party Tour.

Now.” He followed the song with “Damn Good Life,” with The Boot sharing, “Dover is savoring every moment in his uplifting new single,” while Country Now observes, “Between the optimistic narrative that Dover delivers through his crisp vocals and the carefree tune highlighted by the impressive guitar strum, nothing but a good time can be had when this song comes through the speakers.”

In addition to a deal with UMG Nashville, Dover has signed with Sony Music Publishing in partnership with Droptine Music Publishing along with United Talent Agency.

About Dalton Dover
Lauded by MusicRow as a “master country talent,” Dalton Dover’s first single “Giving Up On That” via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records is available everywhere now. Named a Pandora 2023 Artist to Watch, an Amazon Music 2023 Breakthrough Artist to Watch: Country Class and a member of CMT’s LISTEN UP 2023 Class, he will make his international debut in March at C2C: Country to Country Festival’s CMA Songwriters Series before joining Chase Rice on the Way Down Yonder Tour in April. Dover first started singing at church as a kid, winning his fifth-grade school talent show performing Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” In that moment Dover’s love of performing was born. By the age of 16 he had picked up a guitar and started teaching himself to play, yet it was his grandfather who turned him on to country music and artists such as Keith Whitley, Rhett Akins, Joe Diffie and Steve Wariner. Performances at local bars soon followed along with sharing covers of some of his favorite songs on TikTok. It was there he caught the ear of producer Matt McV and A&R veteran and founder of Droptine, Jim Catino, who quickly signed Dover. His debut track “You Got a Small Town,” produced by McV, quickly garnered critical acclaim from Billboard, MusicRow, Country Now and Wide Open Country. With his debut and his follow-up “Baby I Am” earning notable playlisting, Dover was named a Spotify Hot Country 2022 Artist to Watch along with a spotlight as Billboard’s February Country Rookie of the Month and a nod for MusicRow’s 2022 Discovery Artist of the Year. After opening for Luke Comb’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium show in Atlanta, Ga., Dover set out on a seven-date run of his own headlining shows, performing across multiple locations of Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, followed by Priscilla Block’s Welcome To The Block Party and his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. In Ashley McBryde’s perfect world, her critically acclaimed collaborative project Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville is best served as a live show.

“In my heart, it would be at the Ryman, done in the style of a community theater,” the recent GRAMMY Award winner shared with Esquire upon the album’s release. “To deliver those performances in that way I think would be really beautiful and a lot of fun.”

Nearly five months later, McBryde and the cast of Lindeville are fulfilling that dream as they kicked off one of two sold-out shows at Ryman Auditorium yesterday evening, Feb. 15, with POLLSTAR praising, “An ambitious live staging of the quirky, genius small town reality masterclass Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville...McBryde takes the caricatures and injects so much humanity into every stereotype.”

Joined by Aaron Raitiere, Benjy Davis, Caylee Hammack, Connie Harrington, bandleader John Osborne, Pillbox Patti, Shelly Fairchild and TJ Osborne, McBryde and company displayed not only their songwriting abilities that “resonate on a deep, emotional level” (Stereogum), but their creative chops, creating a musical theater experience based on the GRAMMY-nominated “loose, joy-filled exercise in letting creativity, humor, and friendship serve as one’s muse” (Vulture).

Backed by the Lindeville band, McBryde, Hammack and Patti launched into album opener “Brenda Put Your Bra On,” as multiple brassieres were thrown on stage from the audience before the set was interrupted by Jenny as Raitiere took the stage to deliver “Jesus Jenny” “with rakish charm and concern” (Rolling Stone).

With the Bluegrass band taking the stage for each jingle, McBryde donned an apron for “Danelion Diner,” followed by Patti’s riveting performance of “The Girl In The Picture,” a heartfelt power ballad for a missing woman named Caroline, with backing vocals from Hammack.

Fairchild captured the “wry wit” (Billboard) of “If These Dogs Could Talk” with ease as McBryde provided background vocals from a park bench, accompanied by Pete and his dog from Brothers Osborne’s sentimental ballad, with TJ Osborne’s rich, resonating voice reminding us “go to church, love your momma and ‘Play Ball.’”

Queued up by What Fuzz Radio DJ Storme Warren, Raitiere with his avocados and Fairchild in her sparkly top indulged the audience with “a wobbly tale of not-so-singles searching for a little company” (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette) in “The Missed Connection Section of the Lindeville Gazette.”

As both a fan and critic favorite, Davis captivated with “total showstopper” and “soulful hymn” (Stereogum)Gospel Night At The Strip Club,” as a trio of drag queens brought the at-capacity crowd to their feet for the chorus of Hallelujahs, affirming Outsider’s observation: “It’s the spiritual message at the heart of the song that makes it so powerful. It’s a stark reminder that Jesus loves the sinners that so many look down on.”

The audience remained on their feet as McBryde returned to the stage with Fairchild, Hammack and Patti for a rousing rendition of “When Will I Be Loved,” followed by “incendiary feminist anthem for small town women everywhere” (Holler) “Bonfire At Tina’s,” with fists pumping in the air with every “light it up.”

As McBryde perched solo on a stool, the Arkansas native “ties together the preceding stories into a moment of peaceful clarity” (Billboard) with title track and album closer “Lindeville,” set to a background of stars.

Written by the album’s namesake Dennis Linde, the entire cast returned to the stage for a cover of The Chicks’ “Goodbye Earl” as an homage to the songwriter whose methods inspired the entire project.

The second sold-out performance of Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville Live takes place tonight, Feb. 16 at Ryman Auditorium. Livestream tickets are available HERE via Mandolin, and proceeds will benefit Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

The three-time GRAMMY-nominated guitarist and 25x Billboard chart-topper Joe Bonamassa has released a mind-blowing live rendition of “Mind’s Eye,” a standout track from his most recent studio album ‘Time Clocks.’ Featured on ‘Tales Of Time,’ his sprawling and expansive live concert film and album shot at the breathtaking Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, the psychedelic influences of the song were augmented by the stunning visual backdrop produced by the iconic Kevin Shirley, serving to highlight the beauty of the music. The live video captures a stratospheric performance by the blues-rock titan, as his virtuoso guitar style and unique technique and flair elevate the evening to an almost heavenly high.

‘Tales Of Time’ will be released on 4/14 via Bonamassa’s J&R Adventures in CD/DVD, CD/BR, vinyl, and digital formats. For more information and to pre-order, please visit https://jbonamassa.com/

“The song has a very Pink Floyd feel,” commented Roy Weisman, CEO of Bonamassa's J&R Adventures label, upon the song’s original release. “The whole ‘Time Clocks’ record is about a journey, and ‘Mind’s Eye’ gives you a fun glimpse of what could be swimming around inside someone’s mind.”

“This live show represents our most progressive and largest production to date, focusing on my most ambitious studio album to date,” adds Bonamassa. “My band was a force of nature on this show, and it truly was a special night.”

Cited by Guitar World as “arguably the world’s biggest blues guitarist,” Bonamassa is known for taking risks and venturing into uncharted territory throughout his wide-ranging career. ‘Time Clocks’ marked his most raw, rocking studio album yet, with American Songwriter sharing, “Bonamassa pushes into fresh territory while staying within a blues-based framework,” and “there is more than enough proof in this sprawling set that Bonamassa doesn’t intend to rest on his laurels or take his star status in the blues-rock genre for granted.”

The release of “Mind’s Eye” coincides with the launch of Bonamassa’s U.S. Spring Tour 2023, which kicked off in Charleston, West Virginia this week. The Spring tour will conclude with Bonamassa’s Keeping The Blues Alive at Sea VIII, set for March 13-17, departing from Miami, Florida to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The festival line-up includes legendary artists like Little Feat, Dion, Bobby Rush, Robert Randolph Band, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Jimmy Vivino, and more. KTBA at Sea is one of the largest fundraisers for Bonamassa’s Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation, aiding in its mission to promote music education by providing grants and resources to schools and musicians in need. Bonamassa also just announced “Keeping the Blues Alive presents: Joe Bonamassa & Friends,” a special two-night performance run with Styx and Don Felder at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on Saturday, August 12th and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Sunday, August 13th.

Bonamassa and his long-time manager Roy Weisman recently launched Journeyman LLC, a full-service artist management, record label, concert promotion, and marketing company that builds awareness for independent artists worldwide. Journeyman provides the infrastructure needed to jumpstart the careers of exceptional independent artists, who are too often overlooked by the major labels or concert promoters while circumventing the resistance of typical “gatekeepers” who don’t support indie acts. “I wanted to take what I've had to learn the hard way to create a company that could make navigating this process a little easier,” Bonamassa explains.

About Joe Bonamassa
Blues-rock superstar Joe Bonamassa is one of the most celebrated performing musicians today. A three-time GRAMMY-nominee, Bonamassa earned his 25th No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart, with his latest studio album ‘Time Clocks.

Bonamassa earned his third GRAMMY nomination with 2020’s ‘Royal Tea,’ recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. The album brought Bonamassa full circle: reconnecting the guitar-slinging kid who stumbled across the best of British-blues in his dad’s vinyl collection to the player he is today. That same year, Bonamassa delivered a groundbreaking live performance from the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, where he played ‘Royal Tea’ in its entirety to over tens of thousands of people across the globe via livestream, recording the full set for the live concert film and album ‘Now Serving: Royal Tea Live From The Ryman,’ released in 2021.

Bonamassa also runs Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, a non-profit that promotes music education and blues music by funding scholarships and providing music education resources to schools in need. To date, the foundation has provided schools and teachers with over $1 Million and has positively impacted 74,000 students in all 50 states.

Created by Bonamassa and Roy Weisman, Keeping The Blues Alive Records (KTBA Records) has released albums for many artists, including musical icon Dion’s ‘Blues With Friends,’ Chicago Queen of Guitar Joanna Connor’s ‘4801 South Indiana Avenue’ and British Blues-Rock star Joanne Shaw Taylor’s ‘Blues From The Hear Live,’ all of which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Charts, while Blues-legend Larry McCray’s ‘Blues Without You’ debuted at No. 2. Bonamassa plans to produce and release more artists on KTBA Records this year.

Journeyman LLC, the newest endeavor between Bonamassa and his long-time manager Roy Weisman, is a vertically integrated music management, concert promotion, and marketing company that builds awareness for great live artists worldwide. After years of perfecting strategies, while building Joe Bonamassa’s career, the company will utilize the same savvy tactics which allowed them to overcome industry barriers that typically held back artists from achieving success. Bonamassa has been keen on using his experience to pay it forward to help other artists navigate the murky industry waters. Consequently, Journeyman sets itself apart in this way as being the true market maker for its artists.

That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid-80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll. The same roots that produced bands like The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith.

The ground started shaking in Sacramento, CA, in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” 1989’s double-platinum The Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song”. Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status. In 1990, TESLAhelped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.” Other 90s albums from TESLA include platinum selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material including 9 new albums since 2000 and recently debuted their new single, “Time To Rock!”

TESLA has endured many of the same taste-changing challenges that affected many in the post-grunge world, but through it all, their blue-collar work ethic and dedication to the faithful fan base has helped them not just survive, but thrive. TESLA’s legacy is alive and well as they continue to record and sellout venues all over the world. As comfortable, rugged, and dependable as your favorite pair of boots, they endure. TESLA is a celebration of the greatest spirits of rock and roll.

ROTTING CHRIST have reached another peak in their long career that now spans over more than three decades. The Greeks have literally stood the test of time. With a steady core line-up and their well-honed live delivery, ROTTING CHRIST are filling concert halls and reap enthusiastic crowd reactions wherever they go. This demonstration of love from their followers is not just driven by nostalgia as the band has managed to evolve and grow, while staying relevant beyond the classics with their highly acclaimed latest albums such as 'Aealo' (2010), 'Κατά τον δαίμονα εαυτού’ (2013), and 'Rituals' (2016).

Now, with the new offering 'The Heretics', ROTTING CHRIST are opening a brand new chapter. With confidence and skills derived from experience, each song represents its own sonic universe. Guitarist and vocalist Sakis Tolis in collaboration with his brother Themis on drums achieve a perfect balance of amalgamating their classic and unique style of riffing and rhythm with exciting new elements sprinkled in to keep their material exciting and fresh. The experienced is enhanced by Jens Bogren's equally clear and transparent yet also massive as well as sombre mix and mastering at his widely renowned Fascination Street Studios (AMORPHIS, BORKNAGAR, MOONSPELL, DEVIN TOWNSEND, and many more).

ROTTING CHRIST were founded by Sakis Tolis and his brother Themis in the year 1987. Starting out on a basis of death and grind, the Greeks had already embarked on a darker musical journey by the time their debut full-length ‘Thy Mighty Contract’ (1993) was revealed. On the following seven albums covering a ten-year period from 'Non Serviam' (1994) to 'Sanctus Diavolos' (2004), ROTTING CHRIST steadily defined their own distinct style by experimenting with elements from death, heavy, and gothic metal without betraying their black roots. At the same time, the band went from underground heroes to headliner status. With the highly acclaimed ninth album, 'Theogonia' (2007), the Greek stalwarts added an unmistakable native element to their sound, which has remained with them as a signature trademark ever since. Exploring the mythical legacy of cultures around the globe led to ROTTING CHRIST's massively successful latest release, 'Rituals' (2016). With more than 30 years, 13 studio albums, a dozen EPs, singles and split releases, as well as more than 1.250 shows under their belt, 2018 marked the year of 'Their Greatest Spells' (2018), where they musically revisited their exciting legacy to connect their past with the present.

'The Heretics' marks another step in the evolution of the Greek masters. Buckle up for a fascinating musical ride through the woes of religious wars, Zoroastrianism and the eternal war between good and evil.  Metal at its best!

The Dutch masters of horror are back with their most flamboyant album so far. On 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus', CARACH ANGREN resurrect the gruesome story of troubled soul ‘Conrad Dippel’; the inspiration of Mary Shelly’s novel 'Frankenstein'.

CARACH ANGREN have extended all the sonic colours on their established palette to dazzling effect. Their trademark whipping guitars are weaving harsh melodies and sinister soundscapes, which are beautifully contrasted by opulent keyboards and majestic orchestrations. That Till Lindemann (RAMMSTEIN) and Peter Tägtgren (PAIN) have called upon the composition talent of Clemens "Ardek" Wijers is a telling sign of his outstanding mastery of the craft. Another signatory counterpoint is provided by Seregor's fierce rasping and shrieking vocals. Adding to the impact, Namtar has become a relentless driving force with his hart hitting yet intricate drumming. Each track on this album is a highlight on its own, while combined 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus ' simply shines.

CARACH ANGREN set out to tell ghost-stories with a set of paranormal cases recorded on the demo 'The Chase Vault Tragedy' (2004). This was soon followed by the official release of the 'Ethereal Veiled Existence' EP (2005) as a prelude to the haunting 'Lammendam' (2008). The Dutch had a clear vision of combining a dark baroque style of metal with horror based lyrical concepts. Their sophomore full-length 'Death Came through a Phantom Ship' (2010) witnessed the band setting sail to bring their eccentric and capturing live performances to audiences and festivals all over Europe. In the wake of third album 'Where the Corpses Sink Forever' (2012), the haunting had reached the Americas and started to spread rapidly. This record added a serious side to the lyrics of CARACH ANGREN. While firmly remaining in the horror genre, their tales revolve around the evils of war. This mature streak was taken a step further with the fourth full-length 'This Is No Fairytale', which is on the surface a darker variation of the "Hansel and Gretel" story from the Brothers Grimm collection, but also deals with the too real topic of child abuse in a dysfunctional family. With ‘Dance And Laugh Amongst The Rotten’ (2017), the band returned to pure story telling with episodes that are centred on a girl playing a little too long with her Ouija board.

Now, CARACH ANGREN return with the monster ‘Franckensteina Strataemontanus’, where the Dutch have pushed their unashamedly theatrical style to a new intense height. You do not believe us yet? Press play and have your soul transferred with this new elixir of life!

Behind black shrouds of obscurity and desolation, the men of GAEREA deliver their odes in cascading maelstroms of aggression and beauty. Emerging from the age of pandemic to whatever awaits humanity next, the Portuguese horde remains on the frontlines of the next generation of extreme metal. With an EP and two albums to their name, GAEREA has rapidly distinguished themselves from the thousands of bands toiling away in the underground. Brewing their cauldron of sound from a recipe of pounding black-metal blast mixed with a touch of harrowed, reflective longing, many devotees of the darkened arts have flocked to their banner. With the emergence of third full-length album Mirage, those numbers are sure to grow.

Underground metal itself is a strange and cyclical beast. Trends come and trends go. But at no point in the genre’s history have we borne witness to what happened to the world in 2020. GAEREA met this challenge by releasing their second album, the aptly titled Limbo, to excellent world reception. In the meantime, they found the total suspension of interactive life as it was previously known to be the perfect breeding ground for further creation and making. As the troupe’s main songwriter elaborates, “I lost two precious years of my life, years that I would rather have spent touring and growing as an artist. But they were crucial for us, these years, because not too many bands stayed relevant and productive. The pandemic gave us the time to make the best release we could. All the promo-shoots, interviews, videos, we all had time to prepare for everything. Mirage was the product of a sudden inspiration. The basic parts were written over about two weeks.”

Such a stunning admission goes to show that art is fickle, and the artist is merely a vessel through which the sweet sorcery we call music may flow. It can mute itself to frustrating silence – or it can explode into being regardless of all consideration. For this band on the rise, it is most certainly the latter. Sizzling with ambition from day one, GAEREA may present one unique face to their audience, masked and enshrouded, but the truth is they have not remained changeless. “We are not the same band who recorded Limbo,” he insists. “We are more eager to take on the world. If the pandemic taught us anything it is that nothing is certain.”

This lack of certainty plays heavily into newest creation Mirage. As its name suggests, the inability to trust what our senses are telling us could be construed as one of the album’s central themes. Rather than constrict their art to mythological references or anti-religious tropes, GAEREA instead plumb the depths of the human experiences of isolation and suffering. “The concept, the subject, of each song is everyone, you, me . . . if people were alone together in Limbo, in Mirage they are truly alone. Nobody is truly real until they are alone.”

If existential dread could be turned into sound, GAEREA have carved their own philosophical path through its stygian tunnels. It isn’t Satan, demons, death, or even suicide that is waiting for us there. “What if people finally reached their goal,” he posits, “to end their suffering, and instead of dying they find themselves in a new reality, lost in a big city they were once a part of – they don’t know if anyone else is still alive. They are alone inside their own world.” This theme of being alone in a world full of familiar scenes, unable to end things and unable to reach anyone else, might well terrify the listener more effectively than any glimpse into the imagined hellscapes of our nightmares. Being isolated in your own world is the real nightmare, and GAEREA strum the chords of this horror with nuance and a miserable grace.

Boasting a superior production that threads the needle between clarity and causticness, GAEREA unwaveringly admit their loyalty to countryman and producer Miguel Tereso of Demigod Recordings. “Miguel is fantastic,” enthuses the band’s primary composer. “He comes from a brutal death metal background. I thought if this guy can pull off a punchy, modern, but still authentic production with a slam / death metal band, I wonder what he can do with a band like GAEREA. He has a vision for a sound, and that is what I really like. He is not a black metal fan, but it’s this very external set of ears and eyes from a guy who really knows his craft, and he brings all of that to our sound.” The fruits of this union are quite evident, as the turbulent moods of the title track are so wonderfully tossed between tension-building moments, and the explosive payoffs which set GAEREA apart from so many who try but come up short.

Tormented leads and building riffs sit atop some seriously explosive drumming, waxing and waning, on “Arson,” a tempest of moods and one of the album’s centerpieces. Emotion, at times sounding triumphant in brilliantly wrought guitar leads, is skewered by vocals that bustle with shattering despair. The dichotomy is magnificent to behold. GAEREA’s composer makes no mistake. “I want to hear the throat on the album, and if we are a vocals-driven band, I don’t want to over-process them during the recording. Striking that balance is one of the beauties for me in this record.”

In a world that increasingly elevates the shallow and the narcissistic, GAEREA pursues an artistic struggle of inward isolation, honest self-examination, and a dogged refusal to bow to the void that awaits. Thus, the persistence of their shadowed visages, draped in the masks which codify their anonymity while also creating a reliable extreme metal brand that fans can appreciate, especially in the live setting. “GAEREA are truly ourselves when we put these masks on, and we transcend into something different, and primitive,” he asserts. “It still makes total sense, and this band would not be a band anymore if we ever dropped the masks.”

As GAEREA prepares the release of Mirage, the world has resumed functioning, and as it lurches onward into its bleak future, one could stipulate that the pressure may be on to continue its rise amid the clamor of this renewal of activity. Does this challenge intimidate GAEREA? “We want to do better, but I don’t feel any pressure because we are in very good hands with the people we work with. We are building a strong team that really cares for us, stage-wise, promotional-wise, website and sales-wise. We are building a very structured confident teams that aims for the same goals we do. What I truly care about is continuing our ever-growing concept of the band GAEREA, and not becoming sterile, and I would not want people to be unaffected by our music. In the end we’re trying to express something within ourselves, and I don’t want it to be too complicated.”

The beauty of GAEREA lies in the directness and simplicity found within their florid tapestry of extremity and aggression. Whether it is in the less-polished aural dynamite of their self-titled EP, or in the lustrous textures of Mirage, GAEREA is building a mighty edifice of underground metal. With talons dipped in the inky blood of black metal and scraped across the flesh of human suffering, GAEREA is leading a charge into the future of darkness, and all those who find beauty and power in the dark side of existence would do well to take heed.

Chase Rice Earns Critical Praise for 'I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell,' Joins "Fox & Friends" and "Tamron Hall" for Performances

From Coors Brewery in Golden, Colo. to Super Bowl Festivities in Phoenix, Ariz.
Plus a Grand Ole Opry Performance in Nashville, Tenn.

Watch Rice Perform on “Fox & Friends” This Friday, Feb. 17
and “Tamron Hall” on Monday, Feb. 20

With Friday’s release of his fourth studio album, I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Chase Rice re-introduced himself to fans and critics alike, earning early praise for the standout project which he will bring to television audiences nationwide via a performance on “Fox & Friends” this Friday, Feb. 17 as well as “Tamron Hall” this coming Monday, Feb. 20.

With Rice having turned inward for inspiration and motivation on the project, that process of “chasing self-respect developed his latest, best album yet,” declares the Tennessean, noting that despite “a glass ceiling both he and the industry had imposed on his career, he's clearly blasted through that impediment” and even remarking of standout track “Bench Seat,” “the touching country ballad could be, by the end of 2023, one of the surprise candidates for Song of the Year.”

Cowboys & Indians further celebrates I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell for its “risk-taking and rule breaking approach,” proclaiming, “that gamble has paid off handsomely, resulting in vulnerable and personal music.” Billboard agrees, noting the album “refines his artistic voice,” creating an offering that is “still propulsive with arena-ready moments, but is laced with deeper, more introspective themes.”

PopCulture asserts that the project is already “the best country album of the year… and everybody’s got to live up to it,” remarking that instead of following the traditional “if it’s not broke don’t fix it” approach, “Rice and his team, somehow, simultaneously broke it AND fixed it — both on purpose.” Leading U.K. music publication Entertainment Focus also has high praise for the “absolute triumph” of an album, labeling it with the first five star review of the year – an honor that took the outlet until September to award in 2022 – and remarking that “it’s a songwriter’s album and a lyricist’s album but it also does all sorts of wonderful things with melodies that are both clever and yet infectious at the same time.”

In celebration of the critically acclaimed release, Rice treated fans across the country to stripped-back, and acoustic live performances of the album, beginning on release day itself. Starting in Golden, Colo. on Friday, Feb. 10, Rice stopped by Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, to perform atop the dugout before visiting the Coors Brewery for a special performance in honor of the album’s cover photo featuring his late father, Daniel Rice, with two Coors Banquets in hand. Rice then traveled to Phoenix, Ariz. to take part in the Super Bowl festivities with an album release show for football fans on Saturday, Feb. 11, before returning home to Nashville to grace the Grand Ole Opry stage last night, Feb. 14.

In addition to treating the full Opry audience to new songs “Bench Seat,” “Way Down Yonder” and recent No. 1 hit “Drinkin' Beer. Talkin' God. Amen.,” Rice also performed a post-Opry show for purchasers of the album, treating those fans to live renditions of album cuts “If I Were Rock & Roll,” “All Dogs Go To Hell,” “Life Part Of Livin'” and “I Hate Cowboys,” plus his triple-Platinum No. 1 "Eyes On You" and the Diamond-certified smash hit "Cruise," which Rice co-wrote.

Soon, fans will get to hear even more of the new music live on Rice’s Way Down Yonder Tour, set to visit iconic venues such as Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Boston’s House of Blues and Athens’ Georgia Theatre beginning March 3.

For all the latest news on his forthcoming music as well as upcoming tour dates, visit ChaseRice.com and follow Rice on FacebookTwitter and TikTok @ChaseRiceMusic and on Instagram @ChaseRice.

About Chase Rice
With nearly 2.4 million albums sold and over 2.4 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With the new album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell crafted in his rural Tennessee home-turned-studio and available everywhere now, his sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life, as evidenced by recent releases “Bench Seat,” “Way Down Yonder,” “I Hate Cowboys” and “Key West & Colorado.” The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, featuring his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen. (feat. Florida Georgia Line)” and Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.” This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, more free; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the triple-Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Platinum-certified “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold out arena tours with Kane Brown and Jason Aldean plus stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice is set to get back on the road this spring in support of the new music. Introducing: Fuel The Funeral Entertainment!

Fuel the Funeral Entertainment is proud to be welcoming an array of new talent, both on and off the stage! Please join us in formally welcoming our new Head of Booking, Kevin Palmiero, and Booking Agent, Billy McDonald.

We are also excited to be welcoming Eve to Adam, Anthony Krizan, Lockjaw, Tyler Tisdale, Grits & Greens, and The Chitlins to our booking roster!

Kevin has been working directly with each of these artists for some time and we are glad to see each of them join him in becoming a part of the Fuel the
Funeral family!

As Head of Booking, Kevin brings 8+ years of knowledge and experience in booking for both young emerging regional acts and international artists. Having previously worked for TKO Booking, Kevin broke into a large scale under the guidance of Andrew Goodfriend, stating, “I was fortunate enough to work with Andrew, as I and many consider him to be one of the best in the business, having a wide resume and working with many of the biggest names in music.” Under TKO, Kevin has had the opportunity to work with many national artists!

Billy McDonald is no stranger to many of you, as you can frequency find him covering shows both local and national with Rock-N-Review. Not happy with the way rock’n’roll was being represented in his region, Billy began a quest with Rock-N-Review to shine a light on his local scene any way he could.
When asked about joining FTF, Billy said, “Avoiding the snakes in this industry has kept my trust circle small. Comprised of like-minded individuals, over the years I found myself naturally gravitating to FTF’s events. I know everyone involved personally, and genuinely them, so it seemed a natural next step when they approached me about booking. Nothing I’ve ever done before, if I can help keep a band on the road, I’m going to give them an honest effort”.

With our Artist Roster growing, we’re excited to see our booking team grow with it, and we’re even more excited to continue this growth by continuing to seek out and accept applications for Booking Agents. If anyone is interested in joining our booking team, please visit www.fuelthefuneralentertainment.com to get in touch and send us your CV!

Floya Share "willows" Video — WATCH

FLOYA's new single "willows" mixes rock and EDM.

Watch the video below . The song will be available on DSPs on Friday, February 17.

"'Willows' is about taking risks," the duo states. "It tells of how giving in to a specific moment can transform your life forever. As humans, we often shy away from taking risks once we have experienced harm. But the only way to grow is to stay open."

The song was recorded and produced by Chris Kempe (Embark Audio) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (24-96 Mastering).

Hailing from Germany, Marv Wilder and Phil Bayer found common ground by talking about their childhood influences, namely Peter Gabriel, U2, and Sting. With the vision in mind to fuse a fresh pop x rock sound with the aesthetics of EDM and world music, the pair set out to showcase something fresh and new.

After the successful launch of the single "The Hymn," the song was featured in an official AFL game between Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs on Australian Television, marking quite the achievement for such a new act.

STRIGOI Streams New Single- The Construct of Misery

Blackened death doom outfit STRIGOI, the brainchild of Greg Mackintosh (PARADISE LOST, VALLENFYRE) and Chris Casket (VALLENFYRE), have teamed up with Decibel Magazine for the exclusive release of their brand new song, "The Construct of Misery," via the Decibel flexi series! Decibel Magazine is now offering an exclusive stream of the new single, which can be heard below

The exclusive flexi issue of Decibel Magazine can be found HERE.

The band is supporting their brand new sophomore album, 'Viscera,' which was released in September 2022 via Season of Mist. The record can be streamed, downloaded, and ordered HERE.

Unsettling: it’s a word which can be used to describe a good swathe of the music which has come from the mind of Greg Mackintosh over the years, but in the context of Strigoi, it feels particularly apt.

Formed immediately after previous side project Vallenfyre had run its course, Strigoi found Greg and Vallenfyre bassist Chris Casket reconfiguring the aesthetics of that band. Their 2019 debut, Abandon All Faith, was a notable transition, taking the crust punk, death metal and grind influences which had defined Vallenfyre and deriving from those an extreme music amalgam which was altogether more...well, unsettling.

But if Abandon All Faith was a record where the memory of Vallenfyre exerted an inevitable, but important, influence, then second album Viscera is where Strigoi define and express themselves on their own terms.

“It’s the second album and we’re pushing those limits,” says Chris Casket. “The longer songs are longer; the shorter songs are shorter. It’s fully realising the concept. When we did the first album, there were certain expectations as we were coming from Vallenfyre. I felt that it was a really good transition from one to the other. But I feel that with this record, it’s more of a fully fleshed out concept. It’s pushing the light and shade further out.”

“The first album was us giving it its own identity separate from Vallenfyre, even though it’s kind of an obvious continuation, in a way,” adds Greg. “But with Viscera, it’s a combination of pushing the envelope a little bit, making it a bit less raw. Because, we had done that to the Nth degree with Vallenfyre. I’d also say there’s a bit of sound design in there, too, to make it very creepy and, yes, unsettling, sound wise.”

With Covid thwarting Strigoi’s plans to do shows to promote Abandon All Faith, Greg and Chris used the down-time to work on what would eventually become Viscera.

“We have a strange way of working,” says Chris. “I will send words, prose, whatever it may be to Greg. He likes that process, because he reads what I’ve written and it inspires the music he comes up with. I’ve never worked that way before. But that and the added time we had, the space away from things, is what I think has made Viscera what it is.”

Greg adds, “If it’s a song where Chris’ lyrics sound angry, I’ll do a song that’s more, I guess, grounded in the essence of early grindcore. Something that expresses that mood. But if it’s something more sombre or unnerving, then I’ll start with a bit of sound design and work towards riffs. I’ve always thought of music in terms of visuals, and that might come from the lyrics. The last song on the album, ‘Iron Lung’, for example: I actually said to Chris that I had an idea for a song where it feels that you can’t breathe, that it feels like you’ve got a weight on your chest. And the result is probably the toughest going song on the record to get through. But I think it does get that across.”

Viscera, then, clearly defines the Strigoi sound and vision – as Chris says, it’s a “mix tape of misery” and points at ways in which the band may develop in the years ahead.

“I get bored easily,” Greg laughs. “I’ve got a very short attention span. I love doom metal, I love funeral doom, crust punk, grindcore...all these things. But usually after two songs of each I’m thinking, ‘Right, what’s next?’ And that’s my problem, but it does determine what this band and this music is like.”

“There’s not much light on this record at all. If there’s any, it’s there just to emphasise how dark the shade is, really. And what I loved about early death metal, which is when I got into it, is that everything had its own feel back then. That was at the back of my mind the whole time when making Viscera – that I wanted to give it its own feel. But the listeners are going to have to decide whether that was successful or not.”

DEFILED Reveals New Album, Shares Pummeling First Single

Tokyo's death metal trailblazer DEFILED will be releasing a brand new album, 'The Highest Level,' on April 28, 2023 via Season of Mist! The album art, tracklist, and details can be found below! To celebrate this announcement, the band is now sharing the pummeling first single, "Off-Limits," along with a music video! The clip is below.

Founding member and frontman Yusuke Hamada comments, "We're very happy to unveil the announcement of our upcoming album, 'The Highest Level.' First of all, please take a look at our PV, 'Off-Limits.' It's the first track from the album and it's a very straightforward tune for headbanging. If you like it, stay tuned for our new album. We think it won't disappoint you. Thank you very much!"

'The Highest Level' can be pre-ordered HERE and pre-saved on streaming services HERE.

Moreover, 2023 marks a seminal year for DEFILED as it celebrates three decades since the release of their first demo and twenty years since the Japanese death dealers formed a union with Season of Mist!

The band will be celebrating this release with a headlining tour of Japan starting from April 28 until it concludes on May 10. Then, then band will join HATE and VADER for three Japanese dates in June. The full itinerary can be found below!

When it comes to straight-forward, bone-crushing death metal, Tokyo’s DEFILED delivers! ‘The Highest Level’ stays true to the traditional death metal formula, while the band’s gritty songwriting approach lends to its authenticity. DEFILED attempts to make no frills with this new full-length, instead speaking directly to the sensibility of old school death metal fanatics who are simply looking for some face-melting violence!

The early 90s was a crucial and formative time for death metal, a genre that started to predominantly emerge in the west with bands like Decide, Cannibal Corpse, Autopsy, Obituary, and Morbid Angel having a stronghold on America while Entombed, Cadaver, Carcass, and many others started to make waves in Europe and the U.K. But across the vast Pacific Ocean, DEFILED was taking a cue from its peers and became one of Asia’s leading purveyors during the genre’s early inception.

Upon releasing a series of demos and EPs during the mid-90s, the Japanese powerhouse finally released its first full-length, ‘Erupted Wrath,’ via Nightfall Records. Upon its release, the band broke out of Asia and started to make its debut in America across the extreme metal fest circuit – performing twice at Milwaukee Metal Fest as well as appearing at November to Dismember in Texas.

The band kept busy during the turn of the century while continuing to build their profile and dominate metal audiences around the globe and by 2003, they formed a union with Season of Mist, where the band has become one of the label’s most consistent death metal mainstays. Since then, the band has released six full-length albums, the majority of which are under the Season of Mist banner.

As the band celebrates thirty years since its legacy was formed, they are ready to unleash another pummelling offering onto the masses. ‘The Highest Level’ still carries the same time-tested formula that Defiled established three decades ago, remaining true to their identity, and still carrying the torch as one of the genre’s founding fathers.

IGNEA Set to Release New Album, 'Dreams of Lands Unseen', via Napalm Records

Official Music Video for First Single

Nomad’s Luck” Out Now!

Watch below

With their incredible talent for storytelling and already impressive recognition as a band-to-watch, Ukrainian upstarts IGNEA are ready to share their highly-anticipated, thrilling next adventure!

Mixing heavy riffs and epic lyricism with symphonic, electronic and multicultural folk elements, the melodic metal five-piece will release their new concept album, 'Dreams of Lands Unseen', on April 28, 2023 via Napalm Records. IGNEA continues their sonic sojourn after previously impressing international metal fanbases with tracks like “Jinnslammer”, “Alga” andDisenchantment”, boasting a noteworthy number of views on YouTube alone and recently receiving honors at the Best Ukrainian Metal Act Awards.

Despite the ongoing brutal war in Ukraine causing immense challenges with their album production, IGNEA were never discouraged while creating the cinematic concept album 'Dreams of Lands Unseen'. They firmly stand strong and proudly present their multifaceted voyage - inviting the listener to follow them into new worlds!

The band’s first single, “Nomad’s Luck”, takes listeners on an energetic journey showcasing IGNEA’s incredible talent for story-telling. The song is only a piece of the brand new concept album, which resembles an epic soundtrack. The Ukrainian band is ready to enchant fans with their powerful performances!

IGNEA about 'Nomad’s Luck':

"'Nomad’s Luck' is about all the dangers of the road. Traveling on her own to the distant corners of the world, Yablonska could have died multiple times, from poisonous plants and diseases to superstitions and taboos of the natives. She could have settled down but her will for discovering new places overshadowed any risks. In this song, it’s as if Yablonska questions herself, how long she would last this way, ‘pushing nomad’s luck’..."

Watch the Music Video for “Nomad’s Luck”

Dive into heavy, score-like sonic worlds and dream of lands unseen with

Ukrainian force IGNEA!

The 10-track concept album, 'Dreams of Lands Unseen', reflects the life of Ukrainian photographer and documentarian Sofia Yablonska, known for traveling to very distant corners of the world while documenting the lives of tribes and natives, which was especially dangerous and uncommon for a woman of her time.

Sonically, IGNEA creates a captivating masterpiece which resembles, thanks in part to diverse genre-influences, an epic soundtrack-like experience. Producing, mixing and mastering was helmed by Max Morton (Jinjer, Morton) whilst Dmitry Kim managed engineering and drum production.

“Dunes” kicks off with the rough screams of highly-gifted singer Helle Bohdanova, standing in contrast to the song’s feathery, dreamy melodies. A perfect picture of the endless Sahara is conjured when hard-hitting riffs combine effortlessly with far-eastern melodies. The track is followed by “Daleki Obriyi” - only one of two songs on the album sung in Ukrainian language, honoring their home country and mother tongue.

Implying distant horizons, the album’s subject, Sofia, is now far away from modern human civilization. Brutal death metal rhythms and shouts crash together with catchy synth passages, representing the beauty of the islands. Ready to move on, Sofia sails to the next country - spending so much time on the water, it becomes her “Incurable Disease”.

Carried away by the gleeful synth-sounds of the sea and turbulent, pounding waves, it creates an extraordinary voyage. Songs like “The Golden Shell” and “Opiumist” - the latter featuring Finnish vocalist Tuomas Saukkonen of Wolfheart - are an ode to Yablonska’s experiences she gathered in Chinese culture. Cheery eastern melodies and brutal growls create the atmosphere of a heavy trip. On Nomad’s Luck, restless guitar riffs mixed with powerful deep shouts create an ominous sound - a symbol of the constant questioning of one’s lifetime.

Vocalist Helle Bohdanova on the album:

"This record is not just our take on the around-the-world adventures of Sofia Yablonskabut also a tribute to one of the greatest Ukrainians of the past century. Her cutting-edge lifestyle, wisdom, savviness and breathtaking stories are so exceptional that they could inspire us to write several more albums. I, myself, am a passionate traveler, and Yablonska’s philosophy is very close to mine on so many levels. Let me invite you on this journey and show you the dreams of lands unseen through Sofia’s eyes…"

GHOSTS OF SUNSET ARE SET TO RELEASE THEIR SOPHMORE ALBUM BREATHE THROUGH DEKO ENTERTAINMENT ON MARCH 17TH

After drawing attention to themselves in 2020, with their debut EP, Headed West, and 2022 follow up LP No Saints in the City the duo of singer-songwriters John Merchant (former Dutch Henry frontman) and multi instrumentalist Todd Long (previously with The Verve Pipe) aka GHOSTS OF SUNSET have returned with their next shot of melodic hard rock – Breathe.

With Merchant and Long living in Michigan and Florida respectively, both the writing and recording process for Breathe were a bit unconventional and at the same time, par for the course with 21st Century technology. "We did all our recording via File Sharing,” says Long. “First, one of us will have an idea and then we just start sending mp3s back and forth while building the track up. After a basic track was completed, we’d then seek out who we feel might be right to put a guitar solo on it. If they like the track, then we proceed. If they don't then that's fine too. We just hoped they feel connected enough to the track to want to contribute." Merchant continues, “The opportunity to make a follow up full length album was an absolute blessing and a daunting task. Unlike some writers, we’re always hoping our influences are noticeable, but we want them to be surprising and revealing as well. With this set of songs, we wanted to keep the door open for anything that moved us. They tell you where they want to go and we are open to whatever gets them to their destination. These songs take listeners from such sweeping landscapes as an oriental spy adventure, to something as internal and personal as the struggle of loving someone battling addiction. The musical compositions are as important as the lyrics to tell the stories that need to be told.”

Pre-save “Afterthought” here: https://ada.lnk.to/Afterthought ;

“Afterthought” is the first single and Long explains, “When I was writing “Afterthought”, I was looking to write an album opener. John wrote “Tonight” off of our 1st full length album “No Saints In The City”. I wanted to try and write one that was just as killer as that one. Who knew it would be our 1st single? I’m like a proud father!”. Merchant adds, “Afterthought” started with another amazing Todd Long riff that celebrates punk rock’s concise, no nonsense, “get to the point” structure. Lyrically the song speaks to the “seen not heard” role played by the arm candy of someone whose narcissistic ego blinds them to the fact that true beauty is found far below surface physical good looks.”

Ghosts of Sunset not only pays homage to the 1980s "Hair Metal" scene they grew up on (Quiet Riot, Ratt, Motley Crue, Warrant, Faster Pussycat, GnR, etc..) but for music fans whose tastes run deep, Breathe touches upon post punk aggression, melodic rock choruses and a quirky Cheap Trick spin on top of it all.

Australia's The Beautiful Monument Are "Hellbound" With Video + Single

Australia's beloved alt-rockers The Beautiful Monument, known for their raw and vulnerable lyrics, return with the brand new single and video for "Hellbound" via Greyscale Records.

Watch the video below.

The single, produced by Callan Orr, is the first taste of music since the band's 2019 release I'm The Reaper.

"This track is about perseverance through self doubt," says the band's Lizi Blanco. "One of the most personal cases for me was writing music after being harshly criticized about my writing style and strongly believing that nothing I brought to the table ever did the instruments justice. That doubt started spreading to some people close to me too. But it's so much more than just music, it was everything in life my job, relationships, business ventures, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. I hadn't felt this defeated in such a long time — it's like a disease. No matter how much you try to convince yourself otherwise, you just keep pushing forward, even when others around you also doubt your ability."

She adds, "I did a tarot spread asking my cards for guidance about what I need to write about and get off of my chest. I used Macabre Tarot by Samantha West and you can see the three cards I had pulled in the music video, they're also described in the chorus of the song. Since the last release, we've all changed so much — especially with a pandemic happening just as we were starting to get some momentum happening again. It's a new style and a perfect blend of us as individuals and as a collective. TBM has grown so much over the years and it's just going to keep getting weirder and weirder."

The accompanying music video was directed by Neck Up Collective and shot in CGI.

Blanco shares, "The video is of a person who believes that they are of a higher stature may have an opinion that differs from yours; but it does not give them the authority to tear you down — malicious words spread like a plague. What goes around comes around."

The Beautiful Monument released I'm the Reaper in 2019, showcasing their genre-defying rock aesthetics alongside stylistic innovation. They hook into emotions and fears felt by everyone in the room and offer fans a moment of catharsis and reflection without being alone. It's OK not to be OK — a theme that The Beautiful Monument has carried through their debut and sophomore albums and that seems more poignant now than ever before.
