Bieler is a singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer who is also known for playing with hard rock band SAIGON KICK, which achieved a platinum single in the US with the timeless hit "Love Is On The Way" from its gold-selling album "The Lizard", which Jason also produced. Bieler also played in an early touring version of TALISMAN with Marcel Jacob and Jeff Scott Soto, as well as SUPER TRANSATLANTIC, with EXTREME bassist Pat Badger, earning them a gold record for their work on the soundtrack for the "American Pie" movie. Recently, Bieler had been touring extensively as a solo artist. The shows featured a wide array of musical styles, absurdists humor, special guests, and more. New Album 'To Live To Kill To Live' is OUT NOW

Danish prog-thrash veterans MANTICORA have released the second music video from their critically acclaimed ninth album 'To Live To Kill To Live', which is the follow-up/second half to their 2018 concept record 'To Kill To Live To Kill'. Both albums are based on the 334-page horror/thriller novel written by lead singer Lars F. Larsen.

This semi-lyrical video for "Katana - Death of the Meaning of Life" is vividly composed and produced by the talented Chilean video producer Federico Bossinga from the company Abstract Chaos. The story of the song is a very sad, bordering on despair-inducing, tale which the band is delving deep into at several occasions on the last 2 albums, making up the overall concept.

Guitarist Kristian Larsen goes deeper into the story of 'Katana' and the creation of the music video, sharing:

"Since this song deals with the story in which a young Dutch sailor - situated in Hong Kong, 1921, at the time when the story takes place - is falling in love with a local prostitute and looking at what he calls the love of his life, getting brutally murdered by local thugs, we wanted to express ourselves in colours that match the story.

The light blue colours, resembling the room in which most of the story takes place, the dark red, resembling the extreme amount of blood, present in the story, when several people are killed in violent ways (by means of either gun or Katana). Federico (Bossinga) was given the lyrics, the story and all our ideas and impressions of this sad tale and he has splendidly matched the storyline with the colours and imagery."

The music on both albums was recorded partially in the band's own studio and recorded/mixed in Hansen Studioswith World-famous producer, Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Destruction, a.o.) who also produced the first two MANTICORA albums back in the last millenium.

Symphonic metal horror masters CARACH ANGREN have unveiled the spooky new music video for the song "Franckensteina Strataemontanus," which is the title track of the band's 2020 release!

The Dutch masters of horror are back with their most flamboyant album so far. On 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus', CARACH ANGREN resurrect the gruesome story of troubled soul ‘Conrad Dippel’; the inspiration of Mary Shelly’s novel 'Frankenstein'.

CARACH ANGREN have extended all the sonic colours on their established palette to dazzling effect. Their trademark whipping guitars are weaving harsh melodies and sinister soundscapes, which are beautifully contrasted by opulent keyboards and majestic orchestrations. That Till Lindemann (RAMMSTEIN) and Peter Tägtgren (PAIN) have called upon the composition talent of Clemens "Ardek" Wijers is a telling sign of his outstanding mastery of the craft. Another signatory counterpoint is provided by Seregor's fierce rasping and shrieking vocals. Adding to the impact, Namtar has become a relentless driving force with his hart hitting yet intricate drumming. Each track on this album is a highlight on its own, while combined 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus ' simply shines.

CARACH ANGREN set out to tell ghost-stories with a set of paranormal cases recorded on the demo 'The Chase Vault Tragedy' (2004). This was soon followed by the official release of the 'Ethereal Veiled Existence' EP (2005) as a prelude to the haunting 'Lammendam' (2008). The Dutch had a clear vision of combining a dark baroque style of metal with horror based lyrical concepts. Their sophomore full-length 'Death Came through a Phantom Ship' (2010) witnessed the band setting sail to bring their eccentric and capturing live performances to audiences and festivals all over Europe. In the wake of third album 'Where the Corpses Sink Forever' (2012), the haunting had reached the Americas and started to spread rapidly. This record added a serious side to the lyrics of CARACH ANGREN. While firmly remaining in the horror genre, their tales revolve around the evils of war. This mature streak was taken a step further with the fourth full-length 'This Is No Fairytale', which is on the surface a darker variation of the "Hansel and Gretel" story from the Brothers Grimm collection, but also deals with the too real topic of child abuse in a dysfunctional family. With ‘Dance And Laugh Amongst The Rotten’ (2017), the band returned to pure story telling with episodes that are centred on a girl playing a little too long with her Ouija board.

NEW ALBUM BLACK SHEEP ARRIVES FEBRUARY 19, 2021

Snakefarm Records is pleased to announce the signing of singer, songwriter, and guitarist Austin Meade to the roster. Meade and his music sprung up from the Red Dirt music scene, as he deftly fuses country and rock 'n' roll in a DNA-distinct way.

Meade will release his label debut Black Sheep on February 19, 2021.

To herald the announcement, the artist has shared the video for "Happier Alone." The track is already shaping up to be a hit, surpassing 2 million streams in the U.S. alone.

"I played this song at least 30 times the first day we wrote it," Meade explains, offering some insight into the track and its accompanying visual "For me, it doesn't get old and the idea for the video was sitting in my head for a few months. It's a tip of the hat to my high school hometown: Brenham, Texas. I've always wanted to go back and shoot a video with old friends in the places that we loved hanging out when we were younger. So we got a killer crew together and made it happen."

He continues, "'Happier Alone' turned into the exact early 2000's sound that I've always loved, and the video keeps that nostalgic aura alive. 'You could be happier alone' is a pretty heavy statement when standing alone as text on a page. But the music and video give you a peek inside our true intentions of keeping life funny and enjoying the small moments — like an old roller rink couple's skate."

Austin Meade's songs and stories are contradictory yet cohesive. On his Snakefarm Records debut, Black Sheep, his influences —musical and otherwise— are as varied and rich as the small-town Texas soil that nurtured his talent and yielded these 12 stellar songs ranging from multi-layered musicality and storytelling to dark alt-pop to new age and Sabbath-inspired. Thanks to his metal-and classic-rock loving dad, Meade got to see bands like Judas Priest and worshipped Whitesnake. “'Ghost' was a song we took a chance on. We’d never written an epic long piece like this before and it really helped seal the album together for us. THEODOR BASTARD is one of Russia's most unusual bands who represents the electronic Karelian neofolk genre, while blending elements of dark wave and trip hop. Focused on messages of mythology and shamanism, the hallmarks of the band are the unique and bewitching lead vocals of multi-talent Yana Veva and the impeccable sound producing skills of Fedor Svolotch, who founded the band two decades ago.

From album to album, THEODOR BASTARD carefully and masterly combine many different exotic and traditional instruments. The special northern atmosphere of their albums is created with Nordic nyckelharpa and jouhikko, primeval flutes created from tree roots and shamanic percussion.

"We live in the north of Russia in Karelia, which has a difficult fate" states band leader Fedor Svolotch. He continues: "This is a harsh northern region with unpredictable nature, with spruce and pine forests. Bears are found here. Moose and hare come straight to my house. In Karelia there are beautiful cliffs and clear lakes with fresh water. These are our personal places of power, the places where stones and winds are talking to us. Singing for us a songs of the northern harsh nature".

THEODOR BASTARD consists of six musicians, turning their performances into a dark and magical artistry that sends the audience back to Northern musical traditions. The collective captures a sound that is both ancient and modern as they blend electronics and contemporary sounds with rudimenrary instruments as well as their own hand-made instruments from stones, human bone and the roots of Karelian birch.

British hard-rock heroes, Thunder, have announced the release of their 13th studio album ‘All The Right Noises’ on 12th March 2020.

The album is a return to the full-throttle sound of Thunder that has seen them create a hugely successful 30+ year career at the forefront of British rock, all built around the lifelong friendship of vocalist extraordinaire Danny Bowes and songwriting genius and guitarist Luke Morley.

‘All The Right Noises’ is an intense confection of illicit charms that reasserts their authority as the number one band in the land. Recorded in the months leading up to the first Covid-19 lockdown, it was originally due for release in September 2020. Strange to reflect then on how much of the new material appears to address the challenging new world we now inhabit.

On the album, Luke says “ All the songs were written and recorded pre-Covid. But it is interesting how if you look at some of the tracks through the prism of Covid they still make a lot of sense.”

The volcanic lead single from the album, ‘Last One Out Turn Off The Lights’ could easily be mistaken for world-ending lockdown rage. But, says Luke, “That was directly about Brexit, but you could apply it to everything else.”

The track is indicative of both the ferocity and message of the album as a whole, with subjects tackled including depression, mental health, and diversity. With their knack for imaginative songwriting, ‘All The Right Noises’ also takes aim at Donald Trump in a song written from his perspective, as well as a song Luke describes as “Like the opposite of ‘My Generation” by The Who in its message.

‘All The Right Noise’ will be available in 1CD, 2CD, 2LP, and 4LP formats, with the 2CD and 4LP releases containing bonus tracks.

The LP versions feature a stunning pop-out of the ‘Singing Ringing Tree’ which appears of the album’s glorious artwork. The photo cover art was shot by the band’s long term collaborator Jason Joyce. The sculpture, which also appears in the video for ‘Last One Out Turn Off The Lights’, is set in Burnley, Lancashire, and resembles a tree which harnesses the energy of the wind to create a choral, discordant sound.

‘All The Right Noises’ follows on from 2019’s stripped back and reimagined album, ‘Please Remain Seated’ which continued their consecutive Top 10 UK Album Chart run since their ecstatically received comeback six years ago.

It is another chapter in the band’s incredibly successful history that has seen them create a succession of some of the most highly-regarded rock albums of the past 30 years. The key to their renown: brilliantly conceived top-drawer material including all-time classics like ‘Dirty Love’, and ‘Low Life In High Places’, described by the late great Radio One Rock Show presenter Tommy Vance as “the greatest ever single released by a rock band”.

With their most recent success, Thunder have proven themselves as vital now as when they emerged with their debut album in 1990 ‘Backstreet Symphony’, and their hit follow-up in 1992 ‘Laughing On Judgement Day’, which was only kept off the top spot by Kylie Minogue.

Recorded live on June 21, 2002 at the Navy Pier / Skyline Stage in Chicago, Blue Öyster Cult’s “A Long Day’s Night” celebrates, at the time, 30+ years of incredible music from the band. This release truly highlights the band's phenomenal career up until that point in time.

Originally released in 2002 on CD and DVD, “A Long Day’s Night” is now being reissued on CD/DVD, Blu-ray, and Vinyl. The audio appearing on all formats has been completely restored and remastered to achieve a stunning new listening experience. The set will be available from Frontiers Music Srl outside of North and South America.

The memorable show was captured on the release “A Long Day's Night,” so titled because it took place during the summer solstice. For two hours, guitarist/vocalists Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma, keyboardist/guitarist Allen Lanier, and their bandmates regale a revved-up crowd with Cult classics like "Burnin’ for You," "Last Days of May," "Godzilla," and, of course, "(Don't Fear) the Reaper.”

Up-and-coming hard rock band Satellite Citi have teamed up with Loudwire to premiere the powerful video for new single “Antibody.” The song—featuring a collaboration with Crobot’s Brandon Yeagley—is dedicated to the people of Armenia and brings awareness to the latest attacks on the Armenian people beginning in late September 2020, that have killed hundreds of innocent civilians and displacing thousands more.

Satellite Citi features drummer/vocalist Anna Gevorkian and guitarist Shaunt Sulahian, both Armenian-Americans born and raised in Los Angeles. Like many first-generation Armenians and children of immigrants, they have learned about the struggles their ancestors have faced and first launched their career in 2015 with the poignant track “Rock Bottom” to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

With the latest attacks against their home country—at a vulnerable time in 2020, amidst a global pandemic—the band partnered with their long-time director and fellow Armenian-American Rosie Geozalian to create a poignant video that spreads the message that Armenians are standing stronger than ever together and won’t be silenced. The video features a range of symbolic imagery that connects with Armenian culture and history, and are further explained in Loudwire’s story.

“Our track ‘Antibody’ lyrically is about overcoming obstacles and silencing your enemies, no matter how hard they might try to bring you down,” says Anna and Shaunt. “We were honored to have Brandon Yeagley of Crobot sing on this track with us. His voice really brought the song together musically. The music video helps us connect the song back to our motherland, Armenia. With the recent war in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), and continuous war crimes happening to Armenian civilians, carried out by Azerbaijan and Turkey, we felt the need to let people know we are here, standing together, stronger than ever, and nothing will change that.”

Adds director Rosie Geozalian, “We had already started working on the ‘Antibody’ video when I woke up one morning to reports of the attacks occurring in Artsakh and Armenia. As members of the Armenian diaspora, the tragedies taking place consumed our thoughts and emotions; the visuals shifted to reflect that. Creating the video for ‘Antibody’ became a way of processing the ongoing cultural trauma we face as Armenians, while paying homage to our brothers and sisters risking their lives to protect the motherland.”

Brandon Yeagley of Crobot said this about his participation in the song and video: “We are all looking for a little extra boost in immunity right about now. Now, I’m no doctor but I know when Satellite Citi hit me up to be a part of their hard-hitting, slinky song ‘Antibody’ there was no hesitation. So come along for the ride—'cause if you ain’t part of the cure, you’re part of the disease!”

“Antibody” is the latest sneak preview from Satellite Citi’s upcoming 2021 album Fear Tactics, which is produced by the lauded Brad Wood (Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo, Liz Phair, Touche Amore) and features a wide range of inspiration from Black Sabbath to Muse to Halestorm. Previous singles have included “Black Magic,” “Miscommunication” and “Getaway.”

As a follow-up to their acclaimed 2018 debut EP Negative Space, the new album will thematically center around the importance of mental health and represents the band’s own struggles of coping with fear and anxiety, that are even more permeated in today’s culture. “It’s important to us to help people control and ultimately confront and overcome their fears by realizing they’re not alone in this crazy world,” says Anna and Shaunt. “And so many of us are going through the same things, the same struggles and day to day anxiety. Especially during this pandemic, it’s been such a shift in reality for us and we’re realizing how important human connection is.”

A regular fixture on the stages in their hometown of Los Angeles, Satellite Citi is joined live by two anonymous Spacewalkers on bass and guitar that further taps into the band’s curiosity of other realms and advanced life forms. The band’s name, in fact, is based off of the idea of a city, outside of our galaxy, where people communicate with their minds.

In addition to music, Anna and Shaunt love video games and writing—they are currently working on their first original sci-fi graphic novel called Spacewalker with former DC editor Jim Higgins, that will coincide with a new concept EP in 2022. Satellite Citi also has five songs featured in the upcoming rock documentary Long Live Rock…Celebrate The Chaos, directed by Jonathan McHugh, that features bands such as Metallica, Korn, Slipknot, and Rob Zombie.
