DEBUT ALBUM NOTHING LASTS FOREVER!, OUT OCTOBER 11
Yesterday, lolitslea released "What's That To You" featuring guest vocals from glimmers and Joshua Roberts from Magnolia Park. It's a sassy, showstopping mashup spotlighting three of today's fastest-rising acts in the pop-punk scene. The powerhouse collaboration on this track is no coincidence as the song taps into the angsty, heavy, and aggressive feelings synonymous with pop punk's origins.
When asked about the song, lolitslea says, "'What’s That To You?' is a salty tune about stubbornness with a twist of aggressive, riff-driven pop punk. I guess my new stuff is just not his style, *shrug* This tune features glistening pop punk band, glimmers, and Joshua Roberts from Magnolia Park."
lolitslea is the epitome of bright, nostalgia-driven music for today's youth (imagine if Artist Vs Poet or Hey Monday came out in 2024). ABOUT LOLITSLEA:
Growing up in the small, yet touristy beach town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, lolitslea was homegrown from every and all kinds of music that came out of the Asbury Park alternative scene and Warped Tour era. The independent artist has intertwined the boldness of punk and the colors of pop to bring back the bright sounds of the Neon Pop Punk scene we all grew to love in the mid-2000s. Think Artist Vs Poet or early Fall Out Boy.
After topping the charts with her college a cappella group (Twisted Measure), lolitslea set off to grow her project. lolitslea's sound has been produced and developed by emo icons such as Chase Coy (formally with Universal Music Group), Tom Denney (formerly A Day To Remember), and Roye Robley (Meet Me @ The Altar, Fluorescents), with features from Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens), Bemo Rouge, Joshua Roberts (Magnolia Park), glimmers, Smooth Brain, and more to come.
lolitslea is finishing up her debut full-length to be released October 2024. Following that, she'll be busy in writing sessions with Dan Swank (All Time Low, Taylor Acorn), Cassadee Pope (Hey Monday), Cameron Walker, and many more.
