PARMALEE TO PERFORM “GONNA LOVE YOU” ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA ON JANUARY 9

Multi-platinum and Billion streaming band Parmalee will kick off 2024 with a performance of their new single “Gonna Love You” on ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday, January 9.

“This has been such a great year for us, and we are thrilled to start 2024 with the television debut of ‘Gonna Love You,’” said lead singer Matt Thomas. “This song and the music video are so important to us and give a glimpse into some of the adversity we have encountered. But it's always been about the music and our fans, and we absolutely would not be here without their incredible support.”

The powerful and autobiographical video for “Gonna Love You” recreates the night they were victims of an attempted robbery and shooting, which left their drummer and Thomas’ brother Scott with a 5% chance of living. Watch the video
here.

“Gonna Love You,” follows their most recent #1 single, “Girl In Mine,” which landed the band on Billboard Magazine’s Top 10 Most Played Country Songs of 2023. With four # 1 radio singles and three consecutive in as many years, Parmalee has now scored more #1’s than any other band or group in country music during that time.

“Girl In Mine,” was the follow-up to their #1 record-setting “Take My Name,” which was Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of 2022, and the #1 Platinum hit, “Just The Way” with Blanco Brown. The band first topped the charts with a song inspired by their home state, “Carolina.”

The band closes out the year with a handful of shows in December before their January 9 Good Morning America performance.  Parmalee’s 2024 calendar includes the “In The Air” Tour with Kane Brown.

"Absolutely bewitching",
Sonic Perspectives said about their recent US tour. "...a deeply transformative spiritual experience".

"Utterly unique" -
The Arts STL

"Truly one-of-a-kind...a beautiful display of artistic expression" -
Melodic Mag

"In a world where bands get compartmentalized into easily-digestable categories, Heilung goes against the grain" -
Creative Loafing.

Evading all conventional genre tags and the confines of any specific labels, the group aptly self-describes their sound as “amplified history,” emphasizing their ability to connect modern society with the rudiments of humanity’s beginnings through music. HEILUNG once again journeys back in time with its new chapter, ‘Drif;’ however, unlike previous offerings that centered around prehistoric northern Europe, album number three will explore other great rudimentary civilizations outside of Europe.

“All the songs on ‘Drif’ have their own stories,” adds HEILUNG throat singer and one of the band’s three composers, Kai Uwe Faust. Each has its place and sense of belonging, with inspiration not only from Northern Europe, but from the ancient great civilizations,” explains the band. “We took the ancient surrounding advanced civilizations in account, because our ancestral Nordic civilizations did not just pop up, exist and disappear in isolation. Already in the Bronze Age, we found silk on German land that was imported already from the far, far East 3000 years ago. From the Viking age, we found beads that were brought there from present-day Syria high up in the Northern mountains.

“Centrally important concepts, still in extensive use today, like the number Zero and all the mathematical universes deriving from it, the use of iron and the general concept of settling all originate from traditional high civilizations outside the north and still fundamentally changing our ancestor’s world.

“With singing these primordial songs we want to give tribute to these cultures, reconnect to the beginnings and remember that we all, from East to West, from past to present, are connected through the exchange of ideas and inspiring each other.”
Meaning “gathering,” ‘Drif’ serves as more than merely a gateway that bridges history with modern day society, but is also a statement of the strength in unity and togetherness, which will come as no surprise to those who have experienced HEILUNG’s live ritual, in which every ceremony starts with a reminder that “we are all brothers.” “‘Drif’ means ‘gathering,’’ explains HEILUNG. “A throng of people, a horde, a crowd, a pack. In symbiosis with the album title, ‘Drif’ consists of a flock, a collection, a gathering, a collage of songs, that much like little flames were seeking towards each other, to join, to bond, to create, and be greater together.”

While HEILUNG features authentic and archaic instrumentation that ranges from rattles and ritual bells to human bones and throat singing, their captivating brand of music is far from primitive. Producer and founding member Christopher Juul implements subtle electronic elements that elevates the musical atmosphere and provides a more in-depth and layered soundscape.

“This album has very clearly dictated its own path. Our attempts to tame it were repeatedly fruitless, and once we came to this realization, the creative flow surged forward with immense force. So much so that sometimes it felt like the songs wrote themselves,” the band adds.

HEILUNG’s success has been unprecedented, achieving milestones in its few short years of existence that many do not see in a lifetime. The collective already had rapidly been growing a buzz upon the self-release of their first full-length, ‘Ofnir,’ in 2015, but their dizzying upward trajectory really took off from the moment they set foot on the stage at Castlefest in 2017 for the now-legendary debut of their live ritual. Luckily for those who were not fortunate enough to bare witness to this magical event, the full ceremony was captured on film, having since been viewed by tens of millions of fans across the globe.

As HEILUNG trekked across Europe and brought their mystifying experience to new audiences, talk of this new band and their stunning ceremony made way to Season of Mist label owner Michael Berberian, who quickly offered the band a record contract after seeing their undeniable musical impact for himself.

By 2019, HEILUNG launched their second full-length record, ‘Futha,’ which contrasted the masculine and battle-heavy themes of their debut with a feminine counterpart that celebrated fertility and female energy. Upon the first week of the record’s release, it graced the Billboard charts with coveted numbers, debuting at #3 on the Heatseekers Charts and #4 on the Billboard World Music Chart, placing on a total of seven Billboard charts while meeting critical-acclaim from the press on a global scale.

Having already made its way around Europe, HEILUNG announced its first ever North American tour for the start of 2020, which sold out entirely within 72 hours of ticket on-sale. The band later returned to the United States and performed their live ritual for a sold out audience of 10,000 people at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, CO (USA), further solidifying their early legacy status.

By this time, the band’s music started to appear in places outside the confines of music venues, videos, and vinyl. From hit television series like ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Vikings’ to video game giants like ‘Conqueror’s Blade VII: “Wolves of Ragnarök’ and ‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’ to the blockbuster Robert Eggers film ‘The Northman,’ HEILUNG’s music has risen far above the underground and has transcended into a greater world. Even a global pandemic couldn’t slow down HEILUNG’s success; it only strengthened them and gave them the gift of time to complete work on album number three, ‘Drif.’

According to Greek philosopher Pythagoras, three is a divine number, signifying harmony, wisdom, and understanding. He also believed it to be the number of time – past, present, future; birth, life, death; beginning, middle, end. Purposefully or not, ‘Drif’ embodies this philosophy, putting forth a divine work of art that ties together the beginning of civilization with the modern world today. Make no mistake, HEILUNG still does not represent any modern political or religious ideology, but rather delivers a humbling reminder of where we came from. “Remember, we are all brothers. All people, beasts, tree and stone and wind, we all descend from the one great being that was always there, before people lived and named it, before the first seed sprouted.”

Ashley McBryde Performs "The Devil I Know" on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon"

GRAMMY award winner and Grand Ole Opry member Ashley McBryde performed the title track from her critically acclaimed album The Devil I Know via Warner Music Nashville on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” yesterday, Thursday, December 7.

“Ashley McBryde writes about the outcasts – the best characters in her songs are downtrodden, stuck and determined as ever. ‘The Devil I Know’ is an anthem for all of them,”
Vulture observes of the only country song on their top 10 “Best Songs of 2023,” while praising “McBryde knows the power of saying just enough — like painting a toxic relationship as ‘suitcase marks on a hardwood floor’ — and when to let everything boil over, which she expresses in a fiery chorus.”

“Arkansas native McBryde has deeply entrenched unflinching, blue-collar honesty as her trademark brand in country music,” boasts
Tennessean, as Variety opines of the album, “the faithful already knew it would be one of the genre’s most satisfying efforts in 2023, even before she actually delivered on that promise with emotional ballads like ‘Light in the Kitchen,’ pure barnburners like ‘Made for This,’ or actual heart-destroyers like ‘Learned to Lie.’”

“The album’s songs are infectious and assured…Lyrically, they’re tighter than a bowline knot, bursting with colorful details,” boasts Garden & Gun, as Holler praises, “Once again weaving together country ditties, rock-tinged rompers and biker-bar riffs, with The Devil I Know, Ashley McBryde has plotted out an all-encompassing journey. The record features arena-sized regrets, a couple of classic country odes and a few bouts of bold and visceral vulnerability.”

As she gears up to close out the U.S. portion of the first leg of The Devil I Know Tour Presented by Ariat among multiple sold-out dates, McBryde will make a triumphant soon-to-be-sold-out return to the U.K. and Ireland at the top of the year. The second leg will kick off February 22 in Charleston, S.C. with tickets available at
AshleyMcBryde.com.

Fans can watch McBryde perform “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” with Lindsey Stirling on CMA Country Christmas airing Thursday, December 14 at 8pm ET on ABC and Friday, December 15 on Hulu and Disney+.

GRAMMY award winner and Grand Ole Opry member Ashley McBryde will bring the title track from her critically acclaimed album The Devil I Know via Warner Music Nashville to NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” tomorrow, Thursday, December 7.

Lauded as “the latest reminder of how special a mainstream country star McBryde is” and named one of the “Best Songs of 2023 (So Far)” by Vulture, “The Devil I Know” finds the Arkansas native “showing off the country-rock chops that, if this industry were fair, would lead her to play this song in arenas just like fellow mavericks Chris Stapleton and Eric Church.”

Of the album, Rolling Stone observes, “It’s a startling snapshot of a songwriter at the peak of her abilities,” while Variety opines, “the faithful already knew it would be one of the genre’s most satisfying efforts in 2023, even before she actually delivered on that promise with emotional ballads like ‘Light in the Kitchen,’ pure barnburners like ‘Made for This,’ or actual heart-destroyers like ‘Learned to Lie.’”

Recently, HunterGirl partnered with Musicians On Call and visited Nashville’s Veteran Affair’s (VA) Hospital in honor of Veterans Day and in gratitude of their heroic service, performing for patients, their families and staff, which livestreamed to all VA hospitals across the country. Watch a recap HERE. Having worked with veteran organizations since her teens such as Operation SongFreedom Sings and A Soldier’s Child, HunterGirl has helped numerous vets transform their stories into songs.

About HunterGirl:

A Tennessee native, singer/songwriter HunterGirl has been performing since she was three years old and writing songs since she was nine. In her early teens, she performed at venues across the United States, competed in singing competitions and won the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown. After graduating high school, she moved to Nashville and immediately started playing gigs at Nashville’s most famous venues including Tootsie’s, Rippy’s, Jason Aldean’s Bar, The Listening Room, and HonkyTonk Central, winning songwriting contests such as “Nash Next” and the prestigious “Nashville Songwriter Association International” in her spare time. Due to having family members who served in the military, HunterGirl holds a deep admiration for our Country’s armed forces and tenaciously works with many veteran organizations, where she uses music therapy to transform veterans’ stories into songs. She’s shared the stage with Country superstars Old Dominion, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Alan Jackson, Lainey Wilson, Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, Sara Evans and more. Last year, she competed on American Idol, where the “country singer with a bright future” (Hollywood Life) delivered standout performances that Taste of Country called “impressive,” “shining,” “chill-worthy,” and “glowing,” winning the hearts of millions across the country. Praised by Idol judge and Country superstar Luke Bryan as the “new age Miranda Lambert” and his “favorite female Country voice,” “HunterGirl has wowed the Country music community since she stepped foot onto the American Idol stage” (Billboard). “Despite missing out on the win, her crooning vocals and intimate original song, ‘Red Bird,’ has made her one to watch in the Country scene” (American Songwriter). Skyrocketing to No. 1 on iTunes All-Genre and Country charts, “the budding Country star” (Taste of Country) performed her heartfelt and deeply personal original track “Red Bird” on Live with Kelly & Ryan and has appeared on Good Morning America. Now, with the release of her label debut tracks “Hometown Out Of Me,” “Lonely Outta You” and her hauntingly powerful debut radio single “Ain’t About You,” driven by her distinct and genuine vocals, unwavering tenacity, and heart of gold, HunterGirl is on the fast track to becoming Country’s next big female artist.

LAINEY WILSON & JELLY ROLL REACH NEW MILESTONES WITH THEIR 2023 CMA AWARDS WINS

Broken Bow Records' Lainey Wilson and Stoney Creek Records' Jelly Roll took home a total of six awards and delivered three stand-out performances and show stopping acceptance speeches at Country Music's Biggest Night, the CMA Awards at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. In the 57-year history of the awards, Lainey Wilson shattered glass as the first female country artist in over a decade to capture "Entertainer of the Year," joining a class of iconic trail blazers Loretta Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Shania Twain, The Chicks and Taylor Swift. Premiering the television broadcast performance of her next single "Wildflowers And Wild Horses" from her "Album of the Year" winning Bell Bottom Country, Lainey Wilson ignited the stage with a fiery delivery solidifying her recognition as the most awarded artist at the 2023 broadcast.

As Jelly Roll’s monster smash hit “
Save Me” featuring Lainey approaches the top of charts, this "New Artist of the Year" winner kicked off the broadcast with a soulful/gospel rendition of multi-format hit "Need a Favor" with the iconic Wynonna Judd.  Closing out the broadcast with a show-stopping message of love and unity, Jelly Roll was joined by K. Michelle for "Love Can Build a Bridge" featured on BMG's "A Tribute to The Judds" available now here.

View full details on their wins below.

Lainey Wilson wins:

  • Entertainer of the Year

  • Female Artist of the Year (Her second consecutive win in this category)

  • Album of the Year - Bell Bottom Country - Producer: Jay Joyce; Mix Engineers: Jason Hall, Jay Joyce

  • Music Video of the Year - "wait in the truck" Hardy featuring Lainey Wilson

  • Musical Event of the Year - "wait in the truck" Hardy featuring Lainey Wilson

Jelly Roll wins:

  • New Artist of the Year

Wiping away tears, Lainey shared the following as she accepted the win for "Entertainer of the Year." "I guess nine might be my lucky number. That's how many times we were nominated for the CMAs this year. It's also the year [age nine] I wrote my first song, the year I got my first pair of bell bottoms. It's the year that momma and daddy brought me to Nashville for the very first time and took me to the Grand Ole Opry for the first time. It's the year that my momma and daddy brought home this horse named Tex. The horse was wild. It needed breaking and they put me on the back of that thing and said, 'You better hold on, you better ride.' There were times that I was crying and I wanted to get down. I'm like, 'Let me off the back of this thing.' Every time it would start bucking, I'd hold on little bit tighter. I think that right there is one of things that prepared me for this ride. Because, it is wild. Thank y'all for letting me be me and giving me this opportunity."

Jelly Roll received an electrifying standing ovation for his first CMA win as "New Artist of the Year." "There is something poetic about a 39-year-old man winning 'New Artist of the Year'. I don't know where you're at in your life or what you're going through, but I want to tell you to keep going. I want to tell you success is on the other side of it. I want to tell you that it's gonna be ok. I want to tell you that the windshield is bigger than the rearview for a reason! Because what's in front of you is so much more important than what's behind you."

About Lainey Wilson:
As the most nominated artist at the 2023 CMA Awards with a record-breaking nine nominations, and five wins including Entertainer of the Year, Lainey Wilson has earned the enthusiasm of the industry. Critically acclaimed and touted as a top “artist to watch,” to being the leading female nominee and winner at the 2023 ACM Awards and CMT Music Awards, the Louisiana native has made a name for herself in the industry as one of music’s hottest and most buzzed-about new artists. Landing her first No. 1 with her PLATINUM Certified ACM Song of the Year, “Things A Man Oughta Know,” nearly 10 years to the day after leaving her small farming community in a camper trailer to chase her dreams, she has won over legions of fans with her signature Bell Bottom Country sound and aesthetic, which blends traditional Country with a modern yet retro flare. A prolific and sought-after songwriter (having co-writer credits on songs by artists including Luke Combs, Flatland Calvary, and more), Lainey is a fresh, fierce voice in Nashville, delivering CMA-nominated album of the year with her label debut, Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’. With a rockstar stage presence, her artistry has taken her across the globe, performing for sold-out crowds throughout the US, UK, and Germany with notable names like Jon Pardi, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Jason Aldean, Ashley McBryde, and more. After topping the country radio charts for a second time with the two-week No. 1 hit, “Never Say Never” with Cole Swindell, she recently achieved her third and fourth No. 1 song with “Heart Like a Truck” and HARDY collaboration “wait in the truck”. Her current single “Watermelon Moonshine” topped the Country charts marking her fifth No. 1 single and making her the first female artist in two years to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Country airplay chart. Her critically acclaimed album, Bell Bottom Country, reached No. 9 on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart, quickly rose to No. 1 on iTunes charts, and has amassed over 650 million streams to date. Wilson made her acting debut in Season 5 of the smash hit series “Yellowstone” as a musician character named Abby, where she premiered her original “Smell Like Smoke” as well as showcased other hits off her recent album including “Watermelon Moonshine” and “Hold My Halo”. Adding to her growing list of endeavors, Wilson was honored at Billboard’s Women in Music Awards with the Rulebreaker Award, and most recently joined forces with Wrangler as the face of their 2023 fall/winter women's collection.

Drake Milligan Releases Fan-Demanded “I Got A Problem (Full Length)”

Stoney Creek Records recording artist DRAKE MILLIGAN is giving fans what they crave, releasing the full length, original version of his current single following a captivating return to America’s Got Talent. The newly recorded “I Got A Problem (Full Length)” is out today (11/3).

With a rich, warm vocal and a sound tipping its hat to neon-lit ‘90s romance, the track remains a heartfelt tribute to an all-consuming love – but now comes with an added layer of refinement.

Featuring a new piano intro to showcase the effortless ease of Milligan’s beyond-his-years baritone, “I Got A Problem (Full Length)” captures the track just like the rising star performed it as an America’s Got Talent guest in September – returning to the scene of his national-TV breakout last season.

The cool-and-collected performance was so riveting, it prompted host (and early believer) Simon Cowell to invite Milligan to be a part of an upcoming AGT spin-off show – and led fans to demand it be released.

Meanwhile, Milligan’s global profile continues its skyrocketing growth, with successes piling up across North America, Europe and beyond.

Mixing traditional country twang and a dose of right-now swagger, Milligan and multi-PLATINUM duo The Reklaws are currently rising up the Canadian charts with their inside the Top 10 collab single, “Honky Tonkin’ About,” earning acclaim from outlets like Billboard and even a performance at the 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards last month.

The creative partners also traveled to Romania to film a time-warp music video with a star-studded cast, enlisting Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore), Robert Knepper (Prison Break) and Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) for a clip which premiered at the crossroads of the world on October 19, taking over CMT/Paramount’s famous Times Square billboards in New York City. Watch the video HERE.

Meanwhile, Milligan has already performed over 100 U.S. shows this year, and will keep the throttle pinned as the calendar flips, opening for fellow Texan Cody Johnson in 2024,  along with an extensive headlining tour of the U.S.

As for the rest of this year, he’ll first head to Canada for four snowy shows in December, and will then close out the year with a hometown bang, set to rock the World’s Largest Honky Tonk – Billy Bob’s Fort Worth – on New Years Eve, marking the third time this year he has sold out the venue.

From there, he’ll fly to Europe for six shows including stops in Germany, TheNetherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and the U.K., and Milligan already has two international festivals on tap for 2024. He’s booked for big-time appearances in Australia (CMC Rocks QLD 2024 – March 15) and Norway (Den Forvitnelege Countryfestivalen 2024 – July 27).

It all follows the acclaimed release of Milligan’s 2022 album debut, Dallas/FortWorth, and looking ahead, fans can expect all new music in 2024.

View a complete list of Drake Milligan’s tour dates here.

About Drake Milligan:

Drake Milligan burst onto the national music stage entering the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart at #5 after dominating iTunes with his debut album Dallas/Fort Worth, charting back-to-back#1 hits on the iTunes Country Songs Chart, #1 on iTunes All-Genre Chart and reclaimed the #1 spot on iTunes Country Albums Chart, all while simultaneously holding positions #1, #2, #3 and #5 on iTunes Country Video Chart. In the UK, Milligan’s debut album spent 11 consecutive weeks in the Top 20 of the Official Country Artists Albums Chart. A student of classic Country music with the swagger of early Rock ‘n’ Roll, the Fort Worth, Texas native is an electrifying entertainer who is packing Country fans into clubs night after night on tour. Milligan cites George Strait and Elvis Presley – the King of Country and the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll – as musical heroes. His unique twist of traditional Country has been embraced by fans, peers and the media alike. Milligan has performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Grand Ole Opry, Stagecoach and CMA Music Festival. He has earned high praise from People, BBC, USA Today, Parade, American Songwriter, CMT.com, Billboard, ET, Access Hollywood, Cosmopolitan, Cowgirl Magazine and Taste of Country. Daryl Hall's "Live From Daryl's House" is BACK!

“It was an idea to use the Internet for entertainment, which hadn’t really been done before,” marvels Daryl Hall, introducing the new season of his popular Webby Award-winning music series, Live from Daryl’s House, recounting the lightbulb moment back in 2007 to host an intimate online showcase for music, and to fill the time between touring. "Hard to believe but there wasn't anything like it. So much has changed since then."

After a long production hiatus, Live from Daryl’s House will return on November 1 on Hall’s dedicated YouTube Channel, with a brand-new season of six shows, one a week, through the end of the year, starting with Squeeze singer/songwriter Glenn Tilbrook, including Atlanta psychedelic jam band Blackberry Smoke singer/guitarist Charlie Starr (Nov. 8); King Crimson guitarist and Daryl Hall solo album producer Robert Fripp (Nov. 15); singer/songwriters Andy Grammer (Nov. 22), Lisa Loeb (Nov. 29) and U.K. synthpop pioneer Howard Jones (Dec. 6).

“I’m unbelievably excited about the new season,” said Hall, who paid for the initial shows out of his own pocket before finding both sponsors and distributors, including the Tribune Company for broadcast TV, MTV’s Palladia (later MTV Live) for cable, and AXS-TV through the years, executive-producing the series via his Good Cop Bad Cop Productions with longtime manager Jonathan Wolfson. “I love all the guests and I think we’ve gone to places, musically, that we’ve never gone to before,” says Hall.

Added Wolfson: “Having been a part of this series with Daryl since its inception, I’m filled with pride at the number of incredible artists that have appeared on this very special music series. In my opinion, our latest season is a continuation of the quality programming that the fans have come to expect.”

Live from Daryl’s House debuted on November 15, 2007, with a solo episode featuring Daryl himself, often spotlighting local chefs cooking their cuisine on camera. The first few seasons offered an eclectic mix of legends and newcomers from Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy, Chromeo, Fitz and the Tantrums, Minus the Bear, Aloe Blacc and K.T. Tunstall to Nick Lowe, the Doors’ Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek, Smokey Robinson, Toots & the Maytals, Train, Jose Feliciano, Billy Gibbons, Sammy Hagar, Todd Rundgren, Cheap Trick, Wyclef Jean, Aaron Neville and Kenny Loggins. Between 2007 and 2018, a total of 84 episodes were produced.  Since 2014, “Daryl’s House” Restaurant and Music Club in Pawling, NY has been the series homebase.

Prior to the new season, the last two episodes filmed featured Styx’s Tommy Shaw and Vintage Trouble vocalist Ty Taylor, which both aired in October of 2020.

Award-Winning ‘Live from Daryl’s House’ Webcast Returns After a Three-Year Hiatus New shows premiere on Daryl Hall’s dedicated YouTube Channel, Including Glenn Tilbrook, Robert Fripp, Howard Jones.

Sister Duo Tigirlily Gold Makes National TV Debut on 'TODAY with Hoda & Jenna'

Monument Records' sister duo Tigirlily Gold made their national television debut on Monday, Oct. 16, performing recent top 40 hit “Shoot Tequila” on NBC’s “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.”

For the girls from a small town of 5,000, their national television appearance was a dream realized. "Growing up as small town girls in Hazen, ND, we always had big city dreams of playing shows such as the Today Show, and this week that dream actually came!” Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh shared. “We are so grateful for this opportunity to play some country music in NYC with Hoda and Jenna!"

Tigirlily Gold spent more than five years honing their craft on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, perfecting their charisma and songwriting while delivering four-hour sets, three to four nights a week. Born from those years spent entertaining the rowdy Broadway crowds, their debut EP Blonde, released earlier this year, captures that energy while highlighting the girls’ versatile songwriting.

Opening with the bold, confident title track “Blonde,” the sisters set the tone with the empowering girl anthem. Inspired by Dolly Parton, “Blonde” goes beyond describing a hair color, but rather depicts a state of mind while encouraging girls to live unapologetically.

The EP ends with “Shoot Tequila,” showcasing the girls’ ability to entertain with American Songwriter opining it, “packs an energy-filled punch that’s tailor-made for country radio.” The upbeat party anthem is reminiscent of the push and pull of a toxic relationship, nodding to the irresistible temptation of caving to the “bad influence” of a tequila-induced night.

The girls' performance comes as they prepare to release more new music, with their debut full-length album due in early 2024. For the latest information visit, tigirlily.com and follow along on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook @tigirlily and on TikTok @TigirlilyGold.

About Tigirlily Gold:
Sister duo Tigirlily Gold has been playing music together since they could walk, and officially formed their band in high school. Growing up, they crisscrossed the mid-west, growing a fierce fan base and selling out amphitheaters across their home-state of North Dakota. After moving to Nashville, they landed a weekly residence at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway. Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how much entertaining is in their blood.

After releasing their original song “
Somebody Does,” in 2021, the track topped the iTunes chart and Tigirlily Gold was signed to Monument Records. They released their self-titled, debut EP in July 2021, working with multi-Grammy Award Winner Shane McAnally, and hit the road with artists like Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde.

Now, the powerhouse duo has embarked on a new musical chapter with their EP, Blonde – a deeply personal project that includes tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment. Their current single, “Shoot Tequila,” has already found viral success with millions of views across social media, and millions of streams across platforms. The song is climbing the country radio charts now. Ready to bring girl group energy back to country music, Tigirlily Gold is poised for a breakout year.

About Jordan Harvey:

Growing up in rural, blue-collar Scotland, experiencing the Scottish version of the lifestyle represented in most Country songs, Jordan Harvey lived and breathed Country music, dreaming about one day commanding a stage. Taking a leap of faith, believing he could make his dream a reality, Harvey moved across the pond and began immediately cutting his teeth playing the graveyard shift at some of Nashville’s most popular honky tonks. Eventually joining the band King Calaway, he gained invaluable experience opening for icon Garth Brooks and performing on national TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with James Corden, TODAY, The Kelly Clarkson Show and the internationally acclaimed show Neighbours. Knowing it was time to strike out on his own, the Caledonian Cowboy just made his solo debut with the deeply personal, incredibly catchy “Alabama Girl” that sent him viral on TikTok and the infectiously sweet follow-up “I Will.” Next up, The multi-instrumentalist (piano, drums, guitar) channeled his natural charisma and immeasurable stage presence into his 2023 tour dates and his just-released his solo debut EP It Is What It Is.

Darius Rucker Performs on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” as New Album 'Carolyn’s Boy' Connects

With the Tennessean highlighting “his best comprehensive country music work” on brand new album Carolyn’s Boy, Darius Rucker celebrated its release with a rousing performance of “Have A Good Time” on last night’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Watch Below and listen to the full project HERE.

Rucker considers the album, his sixth country project and first since 2017, to be his most personal to date, something he credits to taking the past six years to hone the songs and, in turn, reestablishing his passion for making music.

“The album’s meat involves Rucker finally getting to the core of country’s stereotypical three chords and the truth,” acknowledges the Tennessean of that process, with Rucker explaining, “I had a lot of therapy with myself on this record, which allows me to show the world how much I view making music, internally, as a therapeutic outlet for saying what I feel and think.”

“For Carolyn’s Boy, I talked to some of the best songwriters in town about so many of my authentically lived experiences,” he continues. “I feel like I’m finally comfortable doing what I’m supposed to do as a country music artist.”

Named for his late mother, Carolyn, who encouraged his love of country music from a young age, the album pays tribute to the woman whom Rucker told Willie Geist on this week’s “Sunday TODAY” is the reason for everything he is; “She taught us to be nice, she taught us to care, she taught us to give back, she taught us to always be the best person you can be.”

“Now that I’m a dad, three times over with grown kids, I just wanted to pay tribute to my mom who never got to see any of this stuff, any of this success,” he explained to the Associated Press, noting that – while there are somber moments – he hopes the project as a whole epitomizes her joyful personality: “it should sound like a celebration.”

“The thing I love is seeing her picture,” Rucker noted to Forbes of the album’s cover. “She’s 25 in that photo and it’s my favorite picture of her. Having my record named after her, and having her photo all over social media, I love it. I know she’s somewhere laughing and saying, ‘Boy, stop!’”

From recent No. 1 hit “Beers And Sunshine,” his 10th to top the Country charts, to current single “Fires Don’t Start Themselves,” lauded by Billboard for “the impressive vocal control and power in his lower register,” and his latest release, “Southern Comfort,” described by Garden & Gun as “evok[ing] a wistful nostalgia that has become one of Rucker’s calling cards,” the project honoring Carolyn Rucker features 14 tracks, 11 of which boast Rucker as a cowriter.

Some of the notable cowriters joining him on the project include global superstar Ed Sheeran for the reflective “Sara,” penned during a trip to London and celebrated by People as “a mid-tempo rumination on the hopes of seeking friendship and comfort in a long-lost connection;” reigning ACM Artist/Songwriter of the Year HARDY for the longing “3am in Carolina;” longtime friend and Lady A vocalist Charles Kelley for the despairing “7 days;” and Brothers Osborne’s John Osborne on “Never Been Over,” with Billboard noting Rucker “sings expertly on this track… bolstered by discreet, serene pedal steel and mandolin.”

In addition, the album sees Rucker join forces with Chapel Hart for the collaborative “Ol’ Church Hymn” while also offering his take on Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” from blockbuster film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with MusicRow summarizing his rendition as “beautifully produced, spiritually uplifting and soul stirring. It builds to anthem-level intensity before receding into an intimate prayer. Essential.”

The album also features vulnerably insightful songs such as “Sure Would Have Loved Her,” “Stargazing,” while offering uplifting reminders to a divided world on tracks such as “In This Together,” “Same Beer Different Problem” and “Have A Good Time.”

Having shared the new music with fans across the country all summer on his
Starting Fires Tour, which concludes its North American stretch tomorrow evening in Nashville, Rucker is also gearing up to take his wide-ranging catalog of hits across the pond with a recently announced run of European tour dates in early 2024.

Award-winning group Little Big Town made its very first public appearance as a group on the Opry stage in 1999, and Carrie Underwood cemented a place in Country music with her first Opry appearance less than two weeks after having been named American Idol in 2005. Audiences around the world look to the Opry to showcase the very best in Country music, and it was with this tradition that Opry NextStage was created.

Annie Bosko Debuts "Boots On" and "Neon Baby" Two-Pack

On the heels of a brand new record deal, Grand Ole Opry debut (Sept. 30), dates opening for Tim McGraw and Dwight Yoakam, and with her radio tour well underway, California-native singer/songwriter Annie Bosko brings some neo-traditional twang with 90s throwback flare to the format with her first new music for Benny Brown’s Stone Country Records: “Boots On” and “Neon Baby” are available today. Listen HERE.

Working with producers Derek George and Mickey Jack Cones, “Boots On” was written by Bosko and George while “Neon Baby” was penned by Bosko with Jeffrey Steele (Rascal Flatts’ “What Hurts The Most,” Tim McGraw’s “The Cowboy In Me”) and Bridgette Tatum (Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country”).

“I’m so excited to release my two-steppin two-pack, ‘Neon Baby’ and ‘Boots On,’” shared Bosko. “When I fell in love with country music as a kid, it went beyond lyrics and melody. It was a sound and a feeling that drew me in. I wanted to try to make music that could give people that feeling. I felt so compelled by this feeling, I drove myself to Nashville at 19 years old to pursue the dream.”

Bosko adds, “These songs are fun, flirty, soulful, romantic and retro with a new age spin. I hope folks give it a spin and maybe it will inspire them to take a spin around the dancefloor or their kitchen.”

     I’ll be your neon baby
     I’ll drive you midnight crazy
I’ll hit your lips like whiskey
When you lean in to kiss me
Put that whiskey down and kiss me again and again
     Turn me on
     I’ll be your neon, baby

With “Boots On,” Bosko re-ignites line-dancing, offering a wild ride of guitar riffs, soaring melodies and let-your-hair-down lyrics, dedicated to women who truly do it all (with their boots on).

Country girls do it with their boots on
     Painted on jeans too tight
Scootin to a Brooks & Dunn song
Up for getting down all night
     Love their man like crazy
     While rockin em babies
Breaking hearts til the break of dawn
     Double shot shootin
Like there ain't nothin to it
Country girls do it with their boots on

With a “fearless” pure-country sound and edge-of-your-seat songwriting, Bosko captures the full range of this American art form at its best – working with co-writers like Steele, Tatum, Danny Myrick and more to uplift, inspire or just sing along with women everywhere. These tracks are just the first taste of new music from Bosko with more to be released soon.

Among recent visits to radio stations across the country, Michelle Buckles from KZSN-Wichita shared, “Annie is such a breath of fresh air! Everyone from every age group just fell in love with her during her station visit,” and of today’s releases she declared, “Your new girls night out anthems have arrived!”

Fans can tune in for an in-depth interview and performances from Bosko tonight on
RFD TV’s “Live in America!” at 8 pm ET / 7 pm CT with re-airs set for Oct. 6 (same night repeat) at 12 am ET / 11 am CT and Oct. 8 (repeat 2) at 8.30 pm ET / 7:30 pm CT.

About Annie Bosko
With a voice that beams like a ray of California sunshine, Stone Country Records singer-songwriter Annie Bosko pairs a sound anchored deep in the organic twang of ‘90s country with simple songs told from the heart, preaching equal parts healing and honky-tonk hope. A student of legendary crooners like Patsy Cline with added inspiration from Shania Twain, George Strait, Dwight Yoakam, The Beatles and more, the Golden State native broke out in 2014 with the SiriusXM/CMT hit “Crooked Halo,” bucking the bro-country trend for a traditionally flavored anthem that has now amassed more than 3 million streams. She went on to write songs recorded by Willie Nelson and Jessica Simpson, tour alongside Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton sell out the famed Troubadour and perform on the Grand Ole Opry and at Ryman Auditorium – the fabled Mother Church of Country Music – while also becoming an in-demand studio musician and earning the title Artist to Watch from Rolling Stone Country. After a series of standout collaborations with country icons Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakam and Raul Malo, she is now embracing her true nature for a creative rejuvenation. Working with producers Derek George and Mickey Jack Cones, a new batch of music pairs unapologetic twang, clever wordplay, and deep compassion with her longstanding downhome-diva vocal, capturing the full range of a timeless American art in its purest form. In 2023, Bosko released the powerful-yet-tender ballad “Dandelions” in memory of the victims of Nashville’s Covenant School shooting – a track written alongside Danny Myrick which has now become a beacon of community remembrance and faith. Lost in grief and capturing the reverberating shock of that day’s unfathomable loss, the track has been embraced by the Covenant School families themselves, with all proceeds from being donated for their benefit through ACM Lifting Lives. Looking ahead, Bosko will continue to release sharp-yet-simple, pure-country songs co-written with hit makers like Jeffrey Steele, Bridgette Tatum and more, all aimed at uplifting, inspiring or just singing along with women and country-music lovers everywhere.
