BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. RELEASES NEW SINGLE 'PUSHED BEYOND THE BRINK’

Breakout hardcore wrecking crew BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. have returned with a brutal new single, ‘PUSHED BEYOND THE BRINK,’ out now via Nuclear Blast Records.

BIG ASS TRUCK I.E.’s eagerly awaited follow-up to late 2025’s pit anthem “BACK WHEEL STOMP,” is the sound of pure mayhem; a runaway freightliner as it barrels through earholes on a path of sonic destruction.

Commenting on the track the band says:

We’re super stoked for this track! This idea had been in the tank for a while and we were all very excited to finally bring it to fruition. The KILLDOZER is a legendary vehicle/event and id like to think we did it justice in showing how maniacal that whole situation was/is. We’re hoping this track can resonate with anyone else who feels life is just punching down on you everyday.

BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. is currently en route through Europe delivering their ferocious music to the masses with BODYSNATCHER and PSYCHO FRAME.

About BIG ASS TRUCK I.E.:

Born in the Inland Empire. Fueled by diesel and bad decisions.

2000 horsepower breakdowns. 12-ton riffs. Anyone in the way catches the back wheel stomp.

Not a band. A wrecking crew on bald tires.

BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. isn’t here to partake in hardcore. It’s here to run it over, back it up, and run it over again.

Big riffs. Big energy. BIG ASS TRUCK.

SABATON RELEASE BATTLE-READY NEW SINGLE + MUSIC VIDEO "YAMATO" IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WORLD OF WARSHIPS

Making another major move and breaking down walls once again, the Swedish masters of heavy metal Sabaton have joined forces with leading historically accurate naval multiplayer game, World of Warships, and released a brand new single and music video entitled "Yamato" — available in-game and on all DSPs now. It is being released by BETTER NOISE MUSIC on the heels of 2025'sLEGENDS, which marked Sabaton's first album for the label. "Crossing The Rubicon" (Feat. Nothing More) from the album was also the band's first-ever Top 10 single on the Billboard Rock Chart.

This song notably marks the second World of Warships collaboration between the band and developer Wargaming following the mega-popular "Bismarck."  For the first time, a Sabaton-branded Yamato is also available in World of Warships in addition to dialogue by vocalist Joakim Brodén and bassist Pär Sundström. Along with different bespoke items in game, Joakim Brodén can take the helm of the ship while the standard battle soundtrack replaced by “Yamato” or “Bismarck”, transforming every engagement into an epic metal experience.

Watch the official video Below.

Stream "YAMATO" HERE.

As history will tell you, "Yamato" was the name of a massive Japanese battleship constructed in-secret and unveiled during 1941 as the most dominant vessel of its kind. Designed to win at naval warfare, it represented the ultimate floating symbol of strength. In 1945, it famously hit the high seas on a suicide mission to defend Okinawa. Despite ceaseless fire from aircraft above and an opposing fleet of a far greater number on the water, the "Yamato" and its crew never gave up. Instead, they literally battled until the bitter end when a huge explosion rendered a deathblow to the ship. It sank in a blaze of glory…

As part of the alliance with World of Warships and Wargaming, the band filmed the accompanying music video in Belgrade, Serbia last October. Quite fittingly, it depicts Sabaton aboard the titular ship during its last stand, descending into the unforgiving ocean as the band hangs on for dear life. Waves consume the deck, but each member keeps playing his instrument even as the chaos swallows the guys up one-by-one.

Testing their mettle in real-life, the musicians faced brutally frigid temperatures, weathering a continuous blast of ice-cold water for the duration of the shoot. The band remained submerged in freezing waters with the help of ventilators. Pushing it to the max, the guys even wore weights beneath their stage clothes to truly evoke the sensation of sinking. Maintaining the highest level of safety protocol, professional divers assisted Sabaton throughout.

COLIN STOUGH TAKES ON HARD LESSONS EARLY WITH “21 YEAR OLD MAN BLUES”

Mississippi native Colin Stough digs deeper into the weight of growing up too fast with his gripping new release, “21 Year Old Man Blues,” available now. Listen Below.

Written by Stough alongside Brandon Hood and Marc Beeson and produced by Hood, the track captures the restless tension of youth carrying consequences beyond its years. Set against a gritty, Delta-inspired backdrop, “21 Year Old Man Blues” blends swampy guitar tones, sparse but driving rhythm, and Stough’s signature gravel-edged vocal to deliver a sound steeped in the raw, lived-in spirit of his home state.

“‘21-Year-Old Man Blues’ is about being a young fella and feeling the old man blues,” Stough shares. “It’s about constantly feeling like you're running from something. Brandon Hood and I wrote the song and two days later we were cutting vocals on it. I told him I wanted it to sound like Mississippi with the instrumentation and he absolutely nailed it.”

Through vivid storytelling that moves from Tupelo to the Delta and out onto the open road, the song follows a young man wrestling with mistakes, expectations, and the heavy cost of living wild. It’s a stark, cinematic portrait of reckoning and survival, and another example of Stough’s ability to turn hard truths into compelling, no-frills country storytelling.

With a skinned-raw delivery and an instinct for songs rooted in real life, Stough continues to build momentum as one of the genre’s most authentic emerging voices. He will continue releasing new music and connecting with fans on the road throughout 2026.

About Colin Stough

Born and raised on the Mississippi-Alabama line, 21-year-old Colin Stough was brought up on Southern rock and second chances. A self-taught guitarist and gravel-voiced storyteller influenced by The Allman Brothers, Conway Twitty, and Koe Wetzel, he first picked up a guitar at age eight, later trading prized possessions for a pawn shop acoustic he still plays today. After high school, he worked full-time as an HVAC tech until his mom pushed him to audition for American Idol Season 21. That leap launched a life-changing ride, including a standout third-place finish, a deal with 19 Recordings/BMG Nashville, and breakout songs like “Sober,” “’Til The Day One Does,” and the hard-edged anthem “White Trash.” With a skinned-raw vocal and lyrics carved from lived experience, Stough has built a loyal following of more than 800k across social platforms. His EPs Promiseland and Lookin’ For Homeoffer a no-frills portrait of a young man navigating life with Southern grit, while releases including “White Trash,” “20 Bucks,” and “Best For You” showcase his no-holds-barred storytelling. His new track, “21 Year Old Man Blues,” continues that trajectory, pairing Delta-rooted grit with a hard-lived perspective well beyond his years. On the road, he has opened for acts like Chase Matthew, Drake White, and Kidd G as he continues to build his audience one show at a time. A student of Skynyrd and the outlaw spirit, Stough isn’t chasing trends. He’s telling the underdog’s truth, one song at a time.

CELESTIAL DEATH Unleash New Single “Seed Corrupted"

Rooted in dystopian themes and extreme, yet melodic black metal ferocity, “Seed Corrupted” introduces listeners to the opening chapter of CELESTIAL DEATH’s larger conceptual narrative that explores corruption, power, and the cyclical nature of destruction and rebirth.

Musically, “Seed Corrupted” merges modern melodic black metal with dark, post-metal atmosphere. A distorted lead melody establishes a dissonant tone before erupting into thunderous percussion and obliterating vocal delivery. The arrangement shifts between relentless high-speed aggression and slower, oppressive passages, creating a dynamic soundscape that mirrors the tension within the song’s narrative.

While the track stands on its own as a powerful single, it also serves as an entry point into a much larger conceptual story that CELESTIAL DEATH’s founding guitarist and vocalist, Forrest Jessup, has been developing for years. At its core, “Seed Corrupted” presents a conversation between two figures navigating morality, power, and survival in a corrupted world.

Part of the narrative draws inspiration from the mythology surrounding Al Capone, who famously spent time imprisoned in the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary - located only two miles from where Jessup grew up. Within the story, Capone appears as a mentor figure speaking to an unnamed protégé about the realities of power, violence, and the moral compromises required to survive within ruthless systems.

The title “Seed Corrupted” acts as a metaphor for how corruption rarely begins with a single act of evil, but instead grows from the environments people are forced to navigate. In harsh societal conditions - particularly in impoverished urban environments shaped by systemic oppression - organized crime often becomes less a matter of choice and more a mechanism of survival. Within the narrative, the mentor figure reflects on his rise to power while acknowledging both the brutality and the intoxicating nature of chaos itself.

One of the song’s central lines captures this duality:

“We planted this seed, corrupted this society, enchanted by our anarchy.”

While figures like Capone are condemned by society, they are also mythologized and romanticized in cultural memory - often framed through outlaw folklore that blurs the line between villain and antihero.

Growing up in Atlanta heavily influenced the themes behind the track. The city’s cultural identity - built on resilience, struggle, and an uncompromising survival mentality - shaped Jessup’s perspective and writing. Atlanta has long been a place where artists and communities have fought to build something from nothing, embodying a spirit often summarized as “got it out the mud.” That mindset of relentless survival and self-determination echoes throughout the worldview of the characters within CELESTIAL DEATH’s unfolding story.

The artwork for “Seed Corrupted,” created by Jim Bob Cooter Jr. (who did the band’s debut single, "Anti-Preacher"), visually reinforces these themes. The illustration depicts a decaying urban skyline and fractured cityscape amidst a bleak natural environment, in the center of which is a body of water, and dying tree of life… Above the surface lies the decay, symbolizing a society already consumed by corruption. The inverted reflection in the pool, however, reveals a thriving city of prosperity and abundant tree of life. The imagery suggests that corruption has already taken root in the present world, while the reflection represents either a forgotten past or a possible future that humanity has lost - or may one day reclaim.

“Seed Corrupted” serves as the first glimpse into the broader conceptual world of CELESTIAL DEATH - a narrative built around cycles of corruption, collapse, and rebirth. Much like the ancient symbol of the ouroboros, the story exists within a continuous loop where endings become beginnings and fallen systems inevitably reform themselves. This philosophy also mirrors the band’s deeper artistic identity and the ethos behind Terminus Hate City itself: the understanding that decay and creation are inseparable forces. Like the phoenix rising from ash, destruction becomes the catalyst for transformation, and new life inevitably grows from the ruins of the old.

Without A Face Announce Papercut Recordings Signing With New Double Single “Needful Things” & "Resurfacing (feat. Jacob Mathes of Orphan)"

Toronto musician and producer Kevin Rolly today introduces the next chapter of his unbridled deathcore powerhouse Without A Face with the release of “Needful Things,” a new double single out now alongside the official announcement of the project’s signing to Papercut Recordings. Listen to the double single HERE and find the YouTube visualizer BELOW.

The double single release features tracks "Needful Things" and "Resurfacing" (featuing Jacob Mathes of Orphan). Written and performed by Rolly, Without A Face channels unbridled aggression, pressure, frustration and catharsis into something visceral. The goal is simple, the music should provoke a reaction. Whether that response is discomfort, rage or recognition, indifference has no place in the equation.

The project first began gaining attention with the release of the EP Rat Poison, a short, apoplectic and explosive introduction that quickly found an audience within the modern deathcore community. The release earned strong support from platforms including Slam Worldwide and The Brutality Podcast, whose listeners helped amplify the project and ultimately recognized Rat Poison in the outlet’s year-end awards with a nomination for 'New Deathcore Band of the Year'.

That early momentum helped push Without A Face past 930,000 Spotify streams, 125,000 Apple Music streams and more than 340,000 YouTube views, establishing the project as one of the most promising new names emerging from the underground extreme music space.

Needful Things” now serves as the first release of a new era for Without A Face and the first under the Papercut banner.

Without A Face emerged after years of Rolly working professionally in music through production, engineering and underground rap. Although the work built experience and connections, he eventually felt pulled back toward the kind of heavy music that first shaped him. Records that felt volatile, visceral and impossible to ignore. Without A Face became the vehicle for returning to that space with intent.

The aggression that defines the music is grounded in real stakes. A neck injury in recent years, combined with ongoing hearing issues, left Rolly needing an outlet for his rage and frustration. Those searing emotions sit at the core of Without A Face, fueling the project’s unflinching intensity.

With “Needful Things” now released and the partnership with Papercut Recordings in place, Without A Face enters its next phase with momentum already building and more music expected to follow.

ABOUT WITHOUT A FACE

Without A Face is the solo project of Toronto musician and producer Kevin Rolly, created as an outlet for heavy music that carries real emotional weight. After years working professionally in music through production, engineering and underground rap, he returned to the extreme music that first shaped him, creating a project built on catharsis, urgency and impact.

Written and performed by Rolly, Without A Face turns lived experience, frustration and creative pressure into music designed to provoke a real emotional response.

Since launching the project, Without A Face has amassed over 1 million cross platform streams, and more than 340,000 views on YouTube, with early support from platforms including Slam Worldwide and The Brutality Podcast helping introduce the project to a rapidly growing heavy music audience.

Without A Face announced their signing to Papercut Recordings in March of 2026 with the release of double single "Needful Things" and the threat of more new music on the horizon.

CONNIE CONVERSE HOW SAD, HOW LOVELY OUT MARCH 27TH

Nearly 51 years after the singer-songwriter’s disappearance comes the first reissue of this album in nearly 10 years in any format. 20 tracks (including a bonus 7" featuring the previously unreleased “House” and the new remix of “Playboy of the Western World” courtesy of Dirick Cummins) that are as poignant and potent as ever and showcase an artist that was operating light years ahead of her time.

Eihwar Premiere New Album 'Hugrheim'

Hot off a year of electrifying performances at Wacken Open Air, Midgardsblot and dates with The Hu, Eihwar are back to pull the world deeper into their Viking War Trance with hotly anticipated new album Hugrheim.

“Eihwar drags ancient, blood soaked combat directly into the heavy throb of the underground”, Folk N Rock writes in a track-by-track feature on Hugrheim. “They hammer voltage directly into iron battle axes, bringing sharpened steel to the dancefloor and burying war chants under some brutal weaponized distortion”.

Hugrheim comes out tomorrow, Friday, March 13 on Season of Mist, but you can hear all 10 pulse-pounding tracks today below.

Pre-order & pre-save

https://orcd.co/eihwarhugrheimalbum

With Hugrheim, Eihwar invite listeners into the hidden tenth world of Yggdrasil. The album is a thunderous trip, powered by war drums, pagan chants and questionable life choices.

Blending Nordic folk instrumentation with electro-industrial pulse and thunderous ritual percussion, Hugrheim captures the chaotic energy that has already rattled festival grounds from Wacken Open Air to Midgardsblot. Eihwar treat Norse mythology less like a museum piece and more like a very loud celebration. Ancient symbolism collides with trance languages, pounding rhythms and the kind of ritual enthusiasm that tends to make crowds forget they are supposed to stand still.

Across ten tracks, Hugrheim unfolds like a guided tour through the stranger corners of this unseen world. From the rune-bound trial of lead single “Nauðiz” and the invocation of “Freyja’s Calling” to the victorious chant of “Heill Óðinn,” each composition opens a new gateway into Hugrheim’s shifting landscapes, including the album’s eponymous track “Hugrheim”. There are battle rites, shadow realms and luminous gardens. There are also quite a lot of drums.

At the center of the story stand Mark and Asrunn, wandering spirits whose memories of Hugrheim slowly return while inhabiting human bodies on Midgard. Through chants, war drums and trance-driven rhythms, the duo translate that mythology into sound. The result is a concept album that moves easily between ritual atmosphere and outright pagan dancefloor energy.

There is something truly unique about Eihwar. In a way, the band relates to Vikings much like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles relate to turtles: wild, over-the-top superheroes who don’t take themselves too seriously. And yet, from their mischievous spirit and contagious joy emerges a deep and moving poetry. A kind of childlike wisdom.

Following the release of Hugrheim, Eihwar will carry the Tenth World across Europe on a headline run presented under the banner Pagan Folk Nights, joined by special guest Mira Ceti. After commanding major festival stages and igniting packed club shows, the duo now bring their ritual drums, trance chants and industrial folk pulse into an extended continental campaign.

Line-up:
Asrunn — Vocals, Shamanic Drums
Mark — Vocals, War Drums, Lute, Folk Guitar, Tagelharpa, Percussion & Programming

BRAINSTORM Kick Off Tour with ANGUS McSIX and Release Cover Version Of “Celebrate Youth”!

Today, German power metal force BRAINSTORM are kicking off their upcoming tour run and celebrate the moment with a special release: their cover version of “Celebrate Youth” is now available digitally for the very first time! The track was previously only available as an exclusive CD bonus track on their latest studio album Plague Of Rats, released via RPM in 2025.

"With 'Celebrate Youth,' we chose a song that meant a lot to me personally in my early Youth," Andy B. Franck reveals. "Yes, not a metal song—but a song that perfectly reflected that era and my feeling as a young person of wanting to achieve a lot. Listening to the younger generation, giving them a voice... I don't think I've ever really matured that much deep down, I've retained that feeling and still think and feel like a young guy. This thing rocks, and we had a lot of fun recording it. The Youth, then and now, needs to be heard and understood. This song is the perfect statement about that topic."

Stream the single here: https://brainstorm.rpm.link/youthPR

The digital release follows the overwhelming response to the band’s cover of Don Henley's classic “Boys Of Summer”, which was released in August last year and quickly gained strong traction across streaming platforms.

Released in early 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music, Plague Of Rats marks another milestone in BRAINSTORM’s long career. The album combines the band’s trademark sound - powerful riffs, soaring melodies and gripping choruses - with a renewed intensity and modern production. With over nearly three decades of history, worldwide touring and numerous chart placements, BRAINSTORM remain one of the most consistent and respected acts in German metal. Siamese Unleash New Single "drown" Ahead Of Headline Tours

Modern metal act Siamese return with their powerful new single "drown," the first taste of a new album campaign following their acclaimed releases HOME (2021) and ELEMENTS (2024).

Having amassed more than 100 million streams and toured worldwide alongside heavyweights including Korn, Corey Taylor and Dayseeker, the Copenhagen outfit continues to refine its emotionally charged blend of metalcore and modern rock.

"'Drown' is self-directed anger," explains frontman Mirza Radonjica. "It's about knowing exactly where it hurts and going there anyway. The mirroring in this song is selfdepravating(sic?). I think that when I sing 'I want you to break me till I drown,' that’s both a confession and a request. My drowning becomes a release, not a punishment."

Watch the video for "drown" below.

The single arrives as Siamese kick off an extensive U.S. headline tour, ahead of Danish headline shows this spring, major European festival appearances including Copenhell, Impericon Festival and Vainstream, and a European tour with Dayseeker later this year.

Hollywood Undead Sample Legendary Slayer Riff On Ruthless New Anthem "1x1"

Los Angeles, CA -- Hollywood Undead release new single "1x1" today via Sumerian Records. The track is built around a sample of the legendary riff from Slayer's "Raining Blood" and arrives as the band carries the momentum of a massive 2025 straight into a spring and summer festival circuit spanning North America and Europe. Stream "1x1" HERE and watch the accompanying music video below.

"1x1" makes no apology for what it is. Built on hard-pounding beats and the unmistakable bones of one of metal's most revered tracks, it finds Hollywood Undead in full victory-lap mode, the chorus landing like a verdict: one by one they fall, let the reaper take them all. The band has spent seventeen years earning the right to talk like this, and the numbers back it up. With over 3.2 billion cross-platform streams and 4.1 million monthly Spotify listeners, "1x1" is the natural evolution of a band that knows exactly where they stand.

Matt Good (Skrillex and The Haunt), handles production. The nu-metalesque beats lay the foundation, the slowed down "Raining Blood" riff builds the vibe and the punchy rap verses build to a huge chorus to create an undeniable banger, the likes of which Hollywood Undead have spent nearly two decades perfecting.

Speaking on today's release, Hollywood Undead share

“This song is about resilience. People are always going to doubt you or try to bring you down, but the point is getting back up every time and reminding them you’re still here, and that you can’t be replaced.”

"Hollywood Forever," the band's October 2024 Sumerian Records debut, set the tone for this chapter, cracking 20.3 million cross-platform streams and peaking at #18 at Active Rock radio. "SAVIOR" followed in June 2025, pulling the band in a darker, more emotionally exposed direction. "1x1" lands as the third piece, and the pivot back is deliberate. Where "SAVIOR" was confession, this is confrontation.

In between, 2025 kept Hollywood Undead busy. A co-headline run with Tech N9ne. Mainstage slots at Sonic Temple, Welcome to Rockville, and Louder Than Life. A full run supporting Falling In Reverse on the God Is A Weapon tour through arenas and amphitheatres across North America. The band also continued work on their ninth studio album.

"1x1" arrives with that momentum fully intact and nowhere to go but forward as Hollywood Undead head into a festival run that spans two continents, opening with Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach in May, moving through a full European circuit this summer, and closing out stateside with Rocklahoma in September. Full dates below.

Green Carnation Seize the Moment on New Single “I Am Time”

Three decades into a storied career, Green Carnation continue to stand the test of time. Just last year, the Norwegian prog bards reached crushing new highs during the grand and gloomy opening chapter of their long-awaited album trilogy. Now, as the band descend into deeper, darker and more personal depths on Part II of A Dark Poem, they are breaking past the surface with the album’s emotional peak.

Today, Green Carnation are releasing the second advanced single from A Dark Poem, Part II: Sanguis. While awash with melancholy over the past, “I Am Time” seizes the moment with the band’s unwavering control and raw emotions.

“‘I Am Time’ is one of the songs from the forthcoming A Dark Poemalbum trilogy that discusses the fragile nature of our lives”, Green Carnation vocalist Kjetil Nordhus says. “We do not have control over time. We should try and live in the here and now, before suddenly, it’s too late”.

“To make the song a bit more interesting, the lyrics personify time”, says Green Carnation bassist and lyricist Stein Roger Sordal. “They’re about how we should respect and cherish the time that we have”.

ACIDOSIS Release New Single “Tied To The Tracks” From Upcoming Album Arrival

Crossover thrash band ACIDOSIS have released their new single, “Tied To The Tracks,” taken from the upcoming full-length album Arrival, arriving March 27, 2026.

“Tied To The Tracks” traces back to the earliest origins of ACIDOSIS. The song was first written in 10th grade after the band’s frontman was kicked out of a friend’s band, channeling feelings of betrayal, confusion, and emotional fallout into what became the first fully realized ACIDOSIS song. A homemade music video for the track unexpectedly went viral on MySpace, helping build a grassroots cult following throughout Florida during the band’s formative years.

The track delivers a direct punch of crossover thrash energy driven by speed, precision, and raw emotion. The opening riff spins up with mounting tension before launching into a relentless climb of shredding guitars and driving momentum. Lyrically, the song explores the moment when trust collapses and emotions shift from shock to acceptance, capturing the realization that there is no turning back.

Influenced by classic thrash songwriting and fueled by a massive, chant-ready chorus, “Tied To The Tracks” remains a live favorite during the band’s Florida performances, where crowds continue to shout along to its arena-sized refrain.

Arrival marks the band’s next chapter and will be released worldwide on March 27, 2026.

ACIDOSIS will support the album with a run of U.S. tour dates this spring.

ACIDOSIS Tour Dates

3/11 | Milwaukee, WI @ Falcon Hall*
3/12 | Chicago, IL @ Sleeping Village
3/26 | Brooklyn, NY @ Market Hotel
3/27 | Boston, MA @ Haymarket Lounge
4/3 | Miami, FL @ Las Rosas
4/4 | Orlando, FL @ Will’s Pub
4/8 | Los Angeles, CA @ Non Plus Ultra*

* Ben Katzman only

Tickets: https://app.getpinpoint.io/bkdegreaser

Arrival is a full-length album nearly 20 years in the making. Originally drafted during Ben Katzman’s teenage years, the songs have been brought back to life by a re-formed ACIDOSIS lineup featuring Katzman on bass and vocals, Diego Edsel, Deo Budnevich, and Jonathan Rusten on guitars, and Harry Schwarz on drums. The album was produced by Katzman and Ryan Haft, mixed by Haft, and mastered by Howie Weinberg. Art is by Juan Montoya (TORCHE) and layout by Perry Shall (GREEN DAY, BLACK KEYS).

Jah Wobble & Jon Klein present scathing single 'Who Wins?' ahead of ‘Automated Paradise' LP

Previewing their new 'Automated Paradise' album, Jah Wobble (Public Image Ltd) and guitarist Jon Klein (Siouxsie & The Banshees, Specimen) reveal the fire-buster 'Who Wins?', a song about distrust — about the growing sense that the grand halls of power have become echo chambers of empty promises. The question echoes long after the final note fades — we probably wouldn't like the answer.

The title itself acts as a refrain and a provocation. Who wins? Not answered outright, the song understands something important: the most powerful question in politics is often the one that leaves the listener finishing the sentence themselves. Less of a statement and more like a mirror, this song fits squarely inside the long lineage of protest music. Songs that capture a moment when the atmosphere shifts — when dissatisfaction becomes a chorus and the private complaint becomes public noise.

'Automated Paradise' is Wobble & Klein's third collaborative record and also their debut album as a duo with Dimple Discs, previewed by the motorik lead track ‘Fading Away’, pulsating with the raw electrical tension of British post-punk and new wave. These two legends first combined forces on the 'Metal Box – Rebuilt In Dub' album in 2021, they continue to collaborate live and in the studio.

"'Who Wins?' is a good old protest song, pointing fingers and making a racket! It was a bass line that turned into a metal riff. The noisier songs on this album tend to reflect on today’s information overload, where there’s no security, and people are becoming more polemic and stressed, but there seems to be a thread of hope that truth and justice will maybe prevail," says Jon Klein.

"Working with Jah Wobble is always an inspiring experience. When I started working with him in recording sessions, he often quoted the words of Holger Czukay, the bass player of German band Can: “First we play, then afterwards we talk! We like to make things happen in the moment. Often we complete a working draft to a piece of music from scratch in a few hours.”

Jah Wobble adds, "The music comes from that silent place. It’s pre-existing. You just allow it to flow...  Proper post punk. Angry and humorous. Okay, it’s the end of civilisation. But nothing lasts forever right? We shouldn’t take it to heart."

This is Jah Wobble’s first post-punk album in recent years, these brash guitar-driven tracks reflecting his preoccupation with the declining state of the nation. Driven by his weekly experience with Klein, working at the "Tuned In" music community project in Merton, this record recalls the spirit of Mark Stewart - angry in an empathetic, constructive way. The lyrical content mainly came together on the spot in the studio.

This album follows two 2025 albums for Wobble -  ‘Dub Volume 1' (Dimple Discs) and the expanded reissue of the 2017 album 'The Usual Suspects', featuring 25 career highlights, re-recorded and including some of Wobble’s finest material, alongside tracks by Invaders Of The Heart and PiL.

Guitarist and producer Jon Klein was a member of Siouxsie and the Banshees from 1987 until 1994 (the 'Peepshow', 'Superstition' and 'The Rapture' era). Originally in the Bristol band Europeans, he then formed the glam-goth act Specimen and relocated to London, where he co-founded The Batcave nightclub. He has worked with Talvin Singh and Sinéad O'Connor, and co-produced a string of No. 1 albums for Warner-signed Fangoria, fueling a decade-long streak of chart-topping success in Spain.

Born John Wardle, bassist and vocalist Jah Wobble is from East London. An original member of Public Image Ltd (PiL) from 1978-80, he made two seminal albums with the band, including the iconic ‘Metal Box’. Wobble formed Invaders of the Heart in 1982, collaborating with Can's Holger CzukayJaki LiebezeitU2's The Edge and producer François Kevorkian. By the 1990s, he was well known, had chart success and a Mercury Music Prize nomination for the album ‘Rising Above Bedlam'. After releasing the top-40 album ‘Take Me To God’ and then ‘Heaven and Earth' via Island Records, Wardle fled record company constraints to more experimental recordings.

Wobble has collaborated with Sinéad O’Connor, Massive Attack, Ginger Baker, Björk, Brian Eno and Pharoah Sanders, was part of the supergroup The Damage Manual, worked with Julie Campbell aka LoneLady on ‘Psychic Life’, and with his wife Zi Lan Liao on the album ‘Chinese Dub, winning the Songlines Magazine World Music Award. He also plays and records with his sons Charlie and John Wardle in Tian Qiyi.  2024 brought his 'Timeless Roots' album with Horace Andy, followed by 2025's 'Old Fashioned Ways' album with Jamaica's Ken Boothe. Wobble played on Richard Russell’s album ‘Everything is Recorded' (notably ‘Losing You’ feat. Sampha).

Wobble published his autobiography ‘Memoirs of a Geezer: Music, Life, Mayhem’ via Serpent’s Tail in 2009, following his 2008 radio documentary on Sid Vicious for BBC Radio 3. 30 Hertz Records, the independent label Wobble launched in 1997, still releases music in collaboration with Cherry Red,  including 'Dark Luminosity – The 21st Century Collection' and 'In Dub II: Deluxe'.

On March 27, 'Automatic Paradise' is available on CD and transparent vinyl, limited to 800 copies. The digital download can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp. Jah Wobble & The Invaders Of The Heart continue touring the UK in 2026, for which tickets are available at https://jahwobble.com/#live

LEAVES’ EYES Celebrate Release Of New EP 'Song Of Darkness'

While symphonic Viking metal pioneers LEAVES’ EYES just kicked off their European and UK tour, the band are celebrating the release of their brand new EP Song Of Darkness, that is out now on Reigning Phoenix Music!

Serving as a powerful foretaste of the band’s upcoming studio album, the critically-acclaimed four-track release once again showcases the signature sound that has defined LEAVES’ EYES for more than two decades: sweeping orchestral arrangements, Nordic mythological storytelling and the striking vocal interplay between the soaring soprano of Elina Siirala and the unmistakable growls of band founder Alexander Krull. Combining cinematic symphonic metal grandeur with Viking metal intensity, Song Of Darkness expands the band’s epic sonic universe while continuing their tradition of blending melody, heaviness and atmosphere.

Recorded at Mastersound Studio under the production of Alexander Krull, the EP captures LEAVES’ EYES at a moment of artistic strength, balancing sweeping symphonic arrangements with an earthy, human pulse. Lyrically, Song Of Darknesstravels along the shifting borders between myth, magic, and history. The title track itself draws inspiration from the medieval Icelandic saga of Gisli the Outlaw, leading listeners into a world of murder, intrigue, guilt-ridden dreams, and the hope for redemption.

Each track on the Song Of Darkness EP unfolds like a chapter in a saga, cinematic in scale yet personal in emotion. Elina Siirala’s commanding performance brings the stories to life, illuminating the storm of sound around her, while Krull’s growls ground the music with raw force. Towering choirs and strings rise beside crushing riffs, with folk-inspired melodies weaving through the dark. From the orchestral grandeur of its opening moments to the final echo of its closing refrain, the EP builds an atmosphere defined by tension, release, and the timeless pull of legend.

With its mix of mythic storytelling, emotional depth, and powerful symphonic metal, Song Of Darkness showcases LEAVES’ EYES at full strength. The EP is now available via Reigning Phoenix Music, and in support, the band has just embarked on a series of European and UK dates with special guests CATALYST CRIME, and many more shows in 2026 to follow. Find all current and upcoming dates listed below!
