Scottish Alt Rockers THE XCERTS Announce New Album ‘i think i want to go home now’ Set for Release on July 10th via FLG

Today, Brighton-based and Aberdeen-originating alt-rockers THE XCERTS are excited to announce their much-anticipated new album, ‘i think i want to go home now,’ out on July 10th via FLG.

In addition, the band also shares the album's latest single and arguably their heaviest release to date, the fuzzed-out, fast-paced "pretty ugly." Written during a period of intense personal strain, the track channels a sense of anger and frustration, with vocalist Murray Macleodconfronting both internal struggles and external pressures, lashing out at criticism while processing deeply personal experiences.

Speaking on the single, Macleod shares:

"A nod to 'Scatterbrain' but also heavily inspired by UK post hardcore bands like Kids Near Water and Tribute to Nothing whilst pushing the sound forward. Lyrically, it's comically brutal. The vocals are borderline incoherent but that was intentional. Another emotion I haven't put in a song for a very long time is anger and at the time I found myself feeling very angry at the world. So this song takes a swipe at people who were criticizing the band during a period when my family was going through a lot"

He continues, "The second verse is about my father and what he was going through after his cancer diagnosis. I reference the machinery that cut out my dad's tumour, the Da Vinci XI, and also Van Gogh. 'Maybe I'll splatter my brains against the wall, then you can all dissect the art, I'll do one better than Van Gogh and cut em both off."

Macleod concludes, "The song is heavy in sound and heavy with emotion, so it was important to say something a bit left field because that’s what happens when you’re having an internal meltdown."

Watch the Music Video for "pretty ugly" Below:

An undoubted career highlight long-player, the remarkably consistent and immediate songs on‘i think i want to go home now’ are sonic manifestations of the mutual support and friendship that carried the band through a particularly turbulent period, including Smith’s mother passing away and Macleod’s dad facing a cancer scare.

The new album also sees the band reconnecting with the raw urgency that defined early releases ‘In The Cold Wind We Smile,’ ‘Scatterbrain’ and ‘There Is Only You.’ Intriguingly, there are a number of stark similarities to that very first record. Smith had lost his father before they made that one, and Macleod had gone through a devastating break-up. To say that history has repeated itself would undermine the emotional gravitas of these latest life experiences, but the band found it hard not to draw comparisons between then and now.

Alongside the album announcement, the band also share news that they will perform a full run-through of ‘i think i want to go home now’ at their 2000 Trees Festival set, a festival and community they have returned to numerous times over the past 20 years and which has become something of a spiritual home for the band. In addition, they will appear at Arbroath Festival and embark on a run of dates with old friends Twin Atlantic in June. A full list of live dates can be found below.

“It was really time for us to band together and celebrate our friendship,” says Macleod, speaking further on the album. “We're so proud that we're still doing this, because we started the band 23 years ago. It’s astonishing really. This really is the purest XCERTS record there's been since the first one. We dug really deep to discover what the defining sound of our band is and bled it all out”.

The power and strength of THE XCERTS, both musically and personally, in the face of adversity is once again abundantly clear.

90s college rockers The Dambuilders return with fantastic video for "Shrine 2026" single

US indie radio faves The Dambuilders are back with “Shrine 2026” -- their first release in decades -- with their signature blend of emotional immediacy and sonic invention.. The new video portrays an underground society of alien rockers resurfacing for a mystical ritual after decades in hiding. Parts of the original 1994 video are blended with new footage to highlight the vast passage of time within the story's timeline.

Released via Magic Door Record Label, the B-side companion “I Hope We’re Not Too Late” was recorded and produced by Ray Ketchem at Magic Door Recording in Montclair, NJ and mastered by award-winning engineer Greg Calbi (Lennon, Bowie, Springsteen, Talking Heads, Patti Smith).

2025 saw the band's reformation with reunion shows at Dromfest and NYC Berlin, where they performed their 1989 debut album in its entirety. In late April, they once again perform in New York City and Providence, Rhode Island. Involving a host of special guests, these are the band's first performances in either city in 30 years, offering a rare opportunity to experience the band’s dynamic live presence.

"Bruno Corbo directed this video as an homage to the original video directed by Tryan George. Bruno and I are collaborating on the Dambuilders documentary “I Used to Be Different,” which chronicles the band from our origins in Honolulu to Boston, Berlin, and back. He created an elaborate backstory that connects the video to the original video. In the years following the initial video, where we played a rocking band of aliens who were brutally attacked by a paramilitary force, we have spent decades living underground. We are magically reconnected through the ritual of buying candles to light the shrine of rock and roll," explains Dave Derby.

"The video features performances by current band members (Dave Derby, Kevin March, Claudia Chopek, and Sean Eden) as well as cameos by original violinist Joan Wasser, original drummer Daniel Glass, Colin Burns, who created artwork for the band, and Alex Emanuel, who plays an agent in the original video. The video was a wonderful collaboration between the band, Bruno, cinematographer Sophia Williams, and art director Shelly Chung."

While The Dambuilders are most associated with the 1990s Boston rock scene, the band originated in Honolului, formed by Dave Derby, Tryan George and Eric Masunaga—veterans of Honolulu acts like the Exactones—and joined byelectric violinist Debbie Fox. After relocating to Boston in 1990, the group solidified into its definitive "classic" lineup by 1992, with Derby on vocals and bass, Masunaga on guitar, Kevin March on drums, and Joan Wasser on violin.

Now The Dambuilders re-emerge with a renewed sense of purpose with Dave Derbyand Kevin March joined by guitarist Sean Eden (Luna) and violinist Claudia Chopek (Dexys, Father John Misty, The Little River Band). Their performance of the B-side “I Hope We’re Not Too Late” uphold the bend's core elements and original identity while embracing an evolving sound.

The Dambuilders built a devoted following throughout the 1990s, touring North America, Europe and Australia alongside artists such as Lush, Luna, Jeff Buckley, Weezer and Better Than Ezra. They would release 3 records via the !Cuacha! Label and 3 albums for Elektra Records, along with a song cycle that dedicated a number of tracks to the 50 states (most notably,“Idaho” and “Delaware”).

“Shrine 2026” revisits one of The Dambuilders' most beloved songs, from their 1994 album "Encendedor", which became a cornerstone of their catalog, with “Shrine”ranked at No. 17 in MTV’s 100 Greatest Songs of the ‘90s: Lollapalooza edition. Following their "Against the Stars" album in 1997, the band stepped away from recording and touring, its members pursuing a wide range of acclaimed musical projects in the years that followed.

"Shrine 2006" is available on digital platforms, including SpotifyApple Music and Bandcamp. Tickets for their East coast shows are also available now.

Check Out the Music Video for "Vaporize A Neighbor"

SQUID PISSER are a chaotic hardcore/noise outfit blending industrial textures, fractured rhythms, and confrontational performance into a singular, abrasive identity. Featuring members of GWAR, Cancer Christ and Duck Duck Goose, the band fuses blown-out electronics, noise-drenched guitars, and volatile live energy into something deliberately unhinged and immediate.

The band has worked with acclaimed producers including Kurt Ballou and Steve Evetts, and has engaged with forward-thinking acts such as Melt-Banana, The Locust, and Nekrogoblikon. Releases through Three One G Records and Skin Graft Records position SQUID PISSER firmly within a lineage of boundary-pushing underground music.

Through relentless touring, SQUID PISSER has shared stages with GWAR, Weedeater, Nekrogoblikon, King Parrot, and Buñuel, while also performing alongside Thee Oh Sees, deathbyromy, and Siiickbrain, demonstrating a rare ability to cross scenes without compromise.

Internationally, SQUID PISSER has appeared at festivals including ArcTanGent Festival, bringing their volatile and confrontational live show to European audiences. In the U.S., the band has also performed at The Gathering of the Juggalos 2025 and Muddy Roots Fest 2026.

Their growing catalog - including "My Tadpole Legion," "Dreams of Puke," and "Vaporize a Neighbor" — has seen multiple vinyl pressings sell out, alongside a steady output of visually striking, concept-driven music videos.

Emily Wolfe Releases New Single "Lips" feat. Jesse Hughes (Eagles of Death Metal) via Judge & Jury

Austin-based singer/songwriter and powerhouse guitarist Emily Wolfe returns with her new single “Lips,” featuring Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal, available now through Judge & Jury Records. The track marks Wolfe’s first single from her forthcoming new album, exuding an equal amount of chemistry and swagger. Combining the swing of 70s rock with the cockiness of the 80s, the hyper-defined production from Gavin Brown (Three Days Grace, Barenaked Ladies, Metric) gives the song enough clarity to feel fresh and modern in 2026.

“This song feels like a full circle moment for me”, says Wolfe. “I grew up loving Eagles of Death Metal, so getting to write and watch Jesse Hughes sing this with me was surreal. It’s what happens when you find yourself creating alongside someone who shaped you, and realize they’re just as hungry to make something dangerous as you are. Writing it with Jesse was electric, and alongside producer Gavin Brown, we created something that’s familiar in all the right ways, but still has the bite of older rock records.”

Wolfe credits Hughes not only as a collaborator, but as a mentor in the studio, guiding her through her first-ever in-studio collaboration with another artist. A fan of Hughes since high school, Wolfe describes the experience as one of the most formative creative moments of her career.

Already an established force in rock, Wolfe has spent 13+ years building her reputation as a guitar-driven artist with millions of streams and major media recognition including The Wall Street Journal, MTV, Guitar Player, Paste, and American Songwriter. Her original song “Atta Blues” has surpassed 2 million streams on Spotify, further solidifying her growing global audience.

A proud Gibson partner, Wolfe has two signature guitar models created in her name. She also shares Gibson signature Epiphone status with Adam Jones (TOOL), a connection that may lead to Wolfe co-writing with Jones in the future. Wolfe was personally asked by the CEO of Gibson Guitars if she wanted to open for TOOL, later discovering that Jones was already a fan of her work.

Emily Wolfe has released three records, toured internationally, and shared stages with major acts including The Gaslight Anthem, TOOL, All Them Witches, and more.

In support of the new single, Wolfe will be hitting the road throughout 2026 with a stacked run of high-profile performances. She will be supporting YUNGBLUD and The Warning for multiple shows in May, appearing alongside The Mountain Goats and The Menzingers at Sing Us Home Festival in May, and performing at Frank Turner’s festival in September. Additional tour announcements are expected soon.

"Emily Wolfe is great! We're excited to have her join the IDOLS tour," says Yungblud.

“Lips” is available now on all major streaming platforms.

TodoMal Announce Doomy New Album 'Graveyards of Joy'

TodoMal are announcing their third album and first for Season of Mist. Graveyards of Joy arrives as the closing chapter of a trilogy that the atmospheric doom metal band started in 2021 with Ultracrepidarian and deepened in 2023 with A Greater Good.

To commemorate this announcement, today, TodoMal are releasing a music video for the album’s lead single “Point of Coalescence”. The song is a fitting entry point to Graveyards of Joy; it’s dense, dark and uncompromising, dealing in shame, violence and the slow erosion of consciousness, with surreal and cosmic horror imagery that gives it an unsettling, almost theatrical edge.

Watch the music video for “Point of Coalescence” below:

Graveyards of Joy comes out July 3, 2026 on Season of Mist

Graveyards of Joy channels grief, anger and hard-won hope through a sound rooted in the slow-burning weight of classic doom and dramatic rock. Vast Hammond organ-driven passages give way to desolate folk; strings with Morriconian openness sit alongside heavy, anchoring riffs. The album draws on a wide range of reference points, from the orchestral sweep of Vangelis and the warmth of Deep Purple to the dramatic sensibility of Tindersticks and Nick Cave, without losing the solemnity that defines TodoMal.

TodoMal came to life in 2020, conceived by Anglo-Spanish musician and composer Christopher B. Wildman and musician, composer and producer Javier Fernández Milla: two veteran multi-instrumentalists of the Spanish underground scene whose careers span a wide range of projects and styles. A product of pure serendipity, TodoMal represents a deeply personal fusion of the solemnity of traditional doom metal and the expansiveness of space rock, interwoven with nuances of ecclesiastical music, classic hard rock and cinematic soundscapes.

Their debut album, Ultracrepidarian (2021), evokes the placid yet desolate moorlands of their base in northern Alcarria and the region of Matarraña (Teruel), two emblematic landscapes of Spain's so-called "emptied lands." With A Greater Good(2023), the duo crafted a collection of what they describe as "dark songs," evolving into a complex, dense and unclassifiable album that appeared on several year-end lists and sold through its initial pressing. Fuelled by this momentum, they expanded into a five-piece live ensemble, joining forces with Javier Félez (guitar; Teitanblood, Graveyard, Balmog), Javier "Bud" Martínez (drums; Dejadeath, Jade, Ktulu) and Cecilia Tallo (keyboards/vocals; Maud the Moth).

Graveyards of Joy is the third album and the closing chapter of a trilogy. Written in solitude following personal tragedy, it channels grief, anger and hard-won hope into nine tracks of slow-burning, widescreen doom. The music breathes: vast Hammond-driven passages give way to desolate folk, Morricone-like strings open onto dusty cinematic plains, and heavy riffs anchor songs that never lose sight of melody. A DIY record of striking emotional depth and modern, alternative edge.

MORTIIS Unveils Music Video for Trippy New Single, "Violent Silence"

Iconic Norwegian artist MORTIIS is now unveiling a stunning music video for his trippy new single, "Violent Silence." The clip was once again written and directed by Claudio Marino and can be found below.

"Lyrically, 'Violent Silence' came into being as an apology to my wife," MORTIIS admits ruefully. "I had done something stupid again, and she was really upset. I was trying to apologise in a text message – a really long one. The lyrics for 'Violent Silence' took a lot of inspiration from those words and that moment. As time goes by and having lived with this song for quite a while now, it gets harder for me to listen to those words. The gut-wrenching sensation of guilt never goes away fully. Musically, it was a very inspiring song to work on – especially with all those crazy fuzz and echo guitars that built up this song towards the end."

"Violent Silence" is taken from MORTIIS' upcoming studio album, 'Ghosts of Europa,' which is due on June 26, 2026 via Prophecy Productions, making it his debut to the label! 'Ghosts of Europa' is available as ltd. box set incl. 2CD artbook edition, gatefold LP (excl. handmade sand-filled vinyl), bonus LP, music cassette et al. (50 copies). Ltd. box set incl. 2CD artbook edition, gatefold LP (excl. 'galaxy' metallic vinyl), bonus LP, music cassette et al. (450 copies). As a 60-page hardcover 2CD artbook incl. 8-track bonus CD, ltd. Gatefold marble smoke vinyl LP (300 copies), ltd. Gatefold crystal clear vinyl LP (300 copies), Gatefold black vinyl LP, and Digipak CD Pre-orders are now live HERE.

MORTIIS is now on the road with UADA for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuter’s ROME and WRAITH KNIGHT. MORTIIS is performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, 'The Smell Of Rain,' along with other volumes of dystopian despair while UADA is performing their seminal 2016 debut album 'Devoid of Light' in its entirety + a special CERMONIAL CASTINGS 30-year anniversary set featuring WRAITH KNIGHT. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are available HERE.

Mortiis is a pioneering dark ambient and industrial metal artist, widely credited as the founder of the dungeon synth genre, whose work spans from haunting atmospheric soundscapes to abrasive, genre-defying electronic metal. With a legacy stretching over three decades, he remains one of the most influential and enigmatic figures in underground dark music

unpeople Return With Video for Ferocious New Single "clouds"

The formidable unpeople return today with the video for their ferocious new single "clouds" — a whirlwind track offering unforgettable hooks, and addictive harmonies, through to crushing riffs and singalongs — out now on SharpTone Records.

"clouds" embodies everything that unpeople are about. At its core, the track is a defiant rejection of external pressure, trend-chasing, and the hollow pursuit of validation.

Listen HERE and watch the video Below.

"'clouds' is essentially about not letting yourself be influenced by what other people think you should be doing to get ahead artistically, and trusting your own vision and process," explains frontman Jake Crawford. "I could feel myself being pulled in lots of directions when we started the band and I'm glad we stuck to our guns. I feel like this song is an excellent representation of us doing just that: 'Not buying it,' i.e. quick fixes or hopping on trends — be it musically or the way we present ourselves as a unit."

Comprised of Crawford, Luke Caley, Em Lodge, and Richard Rayner, unpeople are a unique four-piece driven with a mission to fuse powerful lyricism, hefty riffs, and melodic accessibility, and the band channels collective frustration into music that speaks directly to those who feel overlooked or undervalued. The meaning behind their name lies at the core of their identity: "Unpeople" — those deemed politically unimportant or without value. It's a concept the band embraces fully, creating a space where like-minded individuals can find genuine connection.

With just the one EP under their belts, unpeople continue to massively impress and see their sound combine hook-laden choruses, bone-crunching breakdowns, and lush harmonies, challenging preconceived notions of what heavy music can be. Tracks released already include "the garden" + "waste."

This same insatiable energy translates effortlessly to their live shows, which have already seen them support the likes of Metallica and Coheed & Cambria. And this summer will see a string of festival appearances that include a huge Main Stage opening slot at Download Festival, as well as Slam Dunk, Hurricane, Southside, Copenhell, and more — full dates below.

With "clouds," unpeople reaffirm their place as a band unafraid to challenge both themselves and their audience, delivering a powerful and timely message.

We are unpeople. You are unpeople. We are all unpeople.

Hardcore Torchbearers Pro-Pain Release Single + Lyric Video "Scorched Earth"

HARDCORE TORCHBEARERS PRO-PAIN RELEASE LYRIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE "SCORCHED EARTH"

NEW ALBUM, STONE COLD ANGER, RELEASES MAY 15 VIA NAPALM RECORDS —
PRE-ORDER

"And so it begins…": Hardcore juggernauts PRO-PAIN share the third single from their upcoming album, Stone Cold Anger, out May 15 via Napalm Records. "Scorched Earth" sets the tone for the future, accompanied by heavy riffs, catchy guitars, and sing-alongs. A sinister yet fiercely anthemic track, "Scorched Earth" is a pummeling demonstration of power, perfectly fitting for the band's first album in 11 years. PRO-PAIN are back—and they stayed on top of their heavy game!

Gary Meskil about "Scorched Earth":
"'Scorched Earth' explores what happens when ordinary people are pushed to their breaking point. Drawing inspiration from films such as the 1990s Michael Douglas drama Falling Down, the lyrics examine how pressure, frustration, and a sense of powerlessness can build over time. The song speaks to themes of reckoning, consequence, and the desire for genuine accountability."

Watch the Official Lyric Video for "Scorched Earth" Below:

Legendary New York hardcore juggernauts PRO-PAIN make their debut on Napalm Records with their 16th studio album, Stone Cold Anger, out on May 15. Their first release in 11 years showcases the band's explosive energy in its purest form: Stone Cold Anger unfolds heavy, angry, and ready as ever—proving PRO-PAIN haven't lost even an ounce of strength. An exceptionally catchy offering, the new album fortifies its groovy melodies and stirring guitar riffs with furious and inciting, anthemic vocals, turning the ten new songs into worthy follow-ups to their 3.5mm stream hit "Voice of Rebellion" (2015).

Stone Cold Anger is an enthralling, memorable, and triumphant milestone for PRO-PAIN, and an impressive demonstration of power. See you in the pit!

Gary Meskil about Stone Cold Anger:
"Thank you to our fans worldwide for 35 years of unwavering support. After a decade away from the recording studio, we return with Stone Cold Anger — an album forged from global tension and the rising demand for accountability."

UK Rocker DAN BYRNE Unveils New Single "Home"

Hotly-tipped UK rocker DAN BYRNE has unveiled his new single "Home," another glimpse of his highly-anticipated debut record 'This Is Where the Show Beginsout May 22nd via Frontiers Srl

Dan comments:

"'Home' closes the album on a grand and emotional scale. Musically, it’s vast - cinematic guitars, soaring vocals, and a sense of release that makes it feel like the light breaking through at the end of a storm. Lyrically, 'Home' is about connection that transcends distance, the kind of love that grounds you no matter how far you roam. It was born out of life on the road: hotel rooms, long drives, and late nights spent under unfamiliar skies, but knowing that somewhere out there, the person you love is looking up at the same stars.

"No matter how far away I am, my partner is my home. We might be on opposite sides of the world, but we’re still under the same sky, the same stars, the same universe. Home is about sitting with the weight of loneliness and finding comfort in the thought that someone is part of you, even when they’re not near. It’s a song about peace, belonging, and gratitude.

"As the final song on the record, 'Home' acts as the emotional resolution to everything that’s come before: the end of the storm, if you will. After exploring conflict, self-sabotage, anger, and pain across the album, this song represents acceptance, stillness, and clarity. It’s a love letter, a homecoming, and a moment of still light in the aftermath of noise.

"'Home' is where the journey finally lands - not in a place, but in a person."

The single follows Dan's triumphant headline tour, with nearly every date sold out. He follows this with an acoustic record store tour. See below for the complete list of dates.

Watch the Official Video for "Home" Below

‘This Is Where The Show Begins,’ DAN’s debut album, is full of joy and confidence. There is swagger alongside sensitivity, a widening musical horizon that feels both fresh and bold. At the center of it all is that voice, as powerful as it is vulnerable, as emotive as it is commanding.

The lead single, “Saviour,” is a perfect opener. It bursts to life with attention-grabbing hard-rock stabs and pile-driving riffs, its verses simmering with quiet drama before exploding into a chorus that promises we are in for one hell of a ride. It struts, it shimmies, and it absolutely rocks. “Light ’em up,” indeed. There is no letup as we are thrown headlong into “She’s the Devil,” DAN delivering a colossal vocal punctuated by gonzo guitar gymnastics, the euphoria here is undeniable.

Elsewhere, we are taken to church with “Praise Hell,” and “Sober” is steeped in regret. We may even get a glimpse of where DAN is headed next with album closer “Home,” a sprawling, shapeshifting piece of alt-rock that never loses its soul. It feels like Glenn Hughes and 30 Seconds to Mars combining their superpowers and letting the sparks fly.

‘This Is Where The Show Begins’ feels like the culmination of an incredible journey so far and the launching point for what comes next. It is a testament to backing yourself, trusting your instincts, and letting ambition, honesty and musical diversity lead the way. This is where it may truly begin for DAN. The exciting question now is where he will take us next.

Pre-Order 'This Is Where The Show Begins' HERE

Dan will also be performing at Steelhouse Festival on July 25th.

DAN BYRNE swept in off the Mersey, announcing himself as a solo artist in 2023 with his debut EP, ‘Beginnings.’ His powerhouse, soul-inflected vocal and deftly-executed, yet hugely accessible songcraft has quickly marked him out as an artist on the rise. Blending contemporary edge with classic influence, BYRNE’s music is powerful, honest, and deeply emotive - widescreen in scope yet intimate at its core. It rocks, without question, but what truly sets him apart is the courage to weave sensitivity and vulnerability through the intensity. This isn’t just rock music - it has the heart and authenticity to connect with an audience beyond any one genre.

In just two years DAN has toured the UK three times, delivered standout performances at multiple festivals and found overwhelming support from Planet Rock - the UK’s leading rock station - where his first four singles amassed an impressive 25 weeks on the playlist. With that foundation firmly in place, BYRNE now turns his focus to the release of his long-awaited debut solo album, marking the next powerful step in his evolution as an artist.

FOGHAT and NAZARETH, Two Titans of Classic Rock Unite for a Tour Starting April 30th

FOGHAT and NAZARETH unite for a tour of the U.S. beginning April 30th. Straight from the heart of the British blues-rock invasion, Foghat and Nazareth represent two powerhouse forces that helped define — and continue to drive — the sound of classic rock.

Roger Earl/Foghat

“Foghat and Nazareth! What a great show that's going to be! Two rock and roll bands that have done lots of shows together over the years.  We haven't worked together for a while but we plan on having a really good time! Both bands come from the same era of rock and roll,  and still going strong after 50 or 60 years of being on the road is a fucking miracle!  I'm really looking forward to it and so should you! We just keep on rockin'!  See you out there!”

Pete Agnew/Nazareth

"We've shared stages with a lot of great bands over the years, but teaming up with Foghat is something special," says Pete Agnew Nazareth bassist. "They've got that same raw, no-nonsense rock 'n' roll spirit we've always believed in. Night after night, it's going to be a celebration of the music that brought us all here-loud, proud, and straight from the heart. Fans are in for one hell of a ride."

Together, Foghat and Nazareth deliver a live experience steeped in history, energy, and authenticity. Decades into their careers, both bands continue to tour the world, proving night after night that real rock ‘n’ roll doesn’t fade—it evolves, endures, and still knows how to shake the stage.

Enter Shikari Share Official Music Video For “Find Out The Hard Way…”

Enter Shikari have released the official music video for “Find Out The Hard Way…,” the central track from their recently surprise-released album Lose Your Self, out now via SO Recordings. The video arrives days after the band dropped the album in full without prior announcement, placing the entire record directly into fans' hands as a full body of work instead of the standard approach of introducing an album gradually, piece by piece. Watch the official music video for "Find Out The Hard Way..." Below and stream Lose Your Self in full HERE

The release lands at a moment when Enter Shikari’s trajectory has never been steeper. Their seventh record, A Kiss For The Whole World, gave them their first UK Official Albums Chart No.1 in 2023, completing a run of seven consecutive top five debuts. The subsequent arena tour included a landmark first headline performance at London’s Wembley Arena, later documented on the live album and film Live From Wembley.

This November, the band return to arenas across the UK and Europe for their most ambitious run to date, including two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace alongside major headline shows in cities including Glasgow, Manchester, and Düsseldorf.

That momentum has been matched by a continued commitment to the grassroots touring network that shaped them. Enter Shikari were the first artist to implement a £1-per-ticket donation to the Music Venue Trust across their UK arena tour dates, supporting venues under threat and paving the way for artists including Coldplay and Sam Fender to follow suit.

Now over 3,000 shows into their career, the band’s live reputation continues to translate globally, with headline tours, major festival slots, and a steadily growing audience. The band return to North America this June for a headline run across the East Coast, followed by a second run across the West Coast beginning September 25. Tickets available at entershikari.com.

Southpaw FLHC Announce "The Standard" Out 7/31 Via Spinefarm + Share "Rolling Stone" Video

Fast-rising hardcore band SOUTHPAW FLHC — Alan King, guitar; Harrison Linder, drums; Marc Laroche, bass; and Daryn LaMontagne, vocals —  have built their reputation brick by brick, focusing on the messages of self-empowerment, pushing through struggle, perseverance, and building a legacy that speaks to all walks of life.

Today, they have announced their upcoming album The Standard, which arrives July 31 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here.

The band has also thrown another haymaker in the form of the video for new single "Rolling Stone." Watch it below.

"'Rolling Stone' leans into the reality of living a fast life on the road in pursuit of chasing your purpose," the band states. "Losing loved ones and pieces of yourself along the way are part of the game. In the process of moving towards your purpose, the climb feels never ending, yet time continues on. But as a man, you must walk that line in order to create your own path and legacy. In honor of frontman Daryn Lamontagne's grandfather. Rest in power, Pops."

"All gas, no brakes. Driven by hunger, discipline, and a relentless passion for the love of the game. This is The Standard," the band declares.

Southpaw FLHC, who bridge the gap between the old and new generations of hardcore with elements of punk, metal and hip hop, crashed the scene with their self-titled EP, released in 2020. They haven’t taken a breath since, releasing seven singles with accompanying music videos. Clearly, their DIY ethic is strong, as the band also hit the road — and hard. They've shared stages with and toured alongside With Blood Comes Cleansing, Tracheotomy, Bodysnatcher, Surfaced, and Hoods, inciting furious moshpits in every city they played. In 2025, they embarked on a headline run with Cutthroats, Kind Eyes, Unvow, and Resistor. Their hometown roots run deep as marrow, as evidenced by the fact that they headline and packed the first-ever show at a brand new venue called HARDLOVE in Jacksonville. Southpaw FLHC ain't playing and they've established themselves as an up and comer in the hardcore scene. This is only the beginning. Their worldwide partnership with Spinefarm will allow them to ascend to the next level — because that is where they are ultimately headed.

SOUTHPAW FLHC have also announced a later summer headline tour that runs through August and September. All date are below.

KENNY CHESNEY TAKES OVER FLORA-BAMA’S DOME TO CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF NO SHOES RADIO ON SIRIUSXM

Orders from Waffle House were arriving curbside before 6 a.m. as No Shoes Nation lined up, hoping to just get inside the sprawling Flora-Bama Lounge, Package Store & Oyster Bar. While only 388 would cram into the Dome with decades of bras hanging from the ceiling, even proximity to Kenny Chesney’s freewheeling romp across ten years of No Shoes Radio on SiriusXM was enough to draw hundreds of people before daybreak.

By the time the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar took the stage with a 1, 2 sweep of “Get Along” and anthemic “Flora-Bama,” the crowd was singing as loud as the band – and a clearly emotional Chesney announced, “thank you is a word you’re going to hear a lot,” it was clear this set was going to distill all the joy, all the freedom and all the revelry that has defined No Shoes Nation, “a concertgoing community rivaled perhaps only by Parrotheads and Deadheads” according to Variety.

With a summer residency at Sphere in Vegas, FloraBama was the moment where Chesney could have fun with the music, veer from the set list – “The Good Stuff” after asking for the key, a forgotten, but obvious “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems” and a lost-in-it version of George Strait’s “Carried Away” – and also dial up the sing-alongs, the positive energy and life affirming truths with the rarely played “Guitars and Tiki Bars,” Chris Stapleton’s “Never Wanted Nothing More” and the put it aside make the moment “Save It For A Rainy Day.”

By the time a particularly robust “When The Sun Goes Down” was headed to the final verse, bombshell writer/superstar-in-the-making Megan Moroney rolled onstage in a grey No Shoes Nation “corset,” and picked up the chorus. After telling the live audience and everyone listening on SiriusXM Channel 59 the story of their friendship, mutual admiration and adventures, Rosie & The Revival swooped into Moroney’s “You Had To Be There.”

Announcing Megan had just joined the band, the pair shared the smoky “You & Tequila,” a song of knowing better and somehow giving in. That ability to make intimacy massive had defined earlier performances of “Island Boy,” sent out to Boat Captain Ben in Maine, a surging “When I See This Bar” dedicated to FloraBama pirate/poet Jimmy Lewis, and a jubilant “Three Little Birds” for good friend Ziggy Marley and the entire Marley family that led into the tropical “Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven” that felt like personal witness.

“Some days, the songs are just bigger than you are, and they take you where they and the people want to be,” Chesney said of the show. “It was so alive, so free and we were all so glad to be together playing, being with the people, that energy took over everything. Whether it was up tempo or thoughtful, talking or laughing, it reminds me why music is the most powerful force to bring us together.”

Indeed, the turbo-shanty “Pirate Flag” came with all the swagger and bravado required; right down to a woman dressed in full wench regalia in the sweltering crowd. For a band built to rock, they kicked things into another gear. But “American Kids,” which closed the 90 minutes, delivered the loudest, biggest cheers and rush of what a great band can do.

“It’s crazy: people more on fire at the end than the beginning,” Chesney marveled. “When we hit that intro, you could feel the energy double and slam right into us. Talk about a wild ride! It’s the exact reason we do this, and the reason we can’t get to Vegas soon enough.

“I’ve lived a lot of life on No Shoes Radio. I am so grateful to SiriusXM for taking what we do and amplifying it all over the world. A whole lot has happened over the last ten years, and because of them, we’ve been able to live it with everyone who loves these songs.”

Return to Dust Cover Outkast's "Hey Ya!" (Feat. Pusicfer's Mat Mitchell)

Buzzed-about rock band RETURN TO DUST — Matty Bielawski [guitar, vocals], Graham Stanush [bass, vocals], Sebastian Gonzalez [guitar], and London Hudson [drums] — are ready to shake it... like a Polaroid picture.

Return to Dust's cover features synth production from Puscifer's Mat Mitchell. Ultimately, they have taken an upbeat, feel good pop classic and given it an edgy, rock 'n' roll makeover, infusing the track with a darker, gloomier vibe — making it truly their own.

Also listen Below.

Thrown Are Back With New Single "split"

THROWN ARE BACK WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE "SPLIT"

With "split," thrown make their long-awaited return — and it lands with a real impact. The track feels urgent and unfiltered, channeling frustration and inner pressure into something direct and physical. Listen below.

Lyrically, "split" revolves around losing control, self-doubt, and the exhausting weight of being stuck in your own head. It captures that moment where thoughts start to spiral and nothing seems to move forward. Instead of hiding behind abstraction, the band keep things raw and honest. Lines like "I've gotten used to not knowing what to do" reflect a sense of resignation, while the repeated "split my head in two" becomes a powerful expression of overload — almost like a desperate need to break free from your own thoughts.

Sonically, the track stays true to what has made thrown stand out in the first place, while sounding more refined and focused than ever. Crushing, down-tuned riffs drive the song forward, backed by relentless drums and breakdowns that hit with purpose rather than excess. There's a clear sense of control in the chaos — everything feels tight, intentional, and built for maximum impact without overcomplicating things.

In a short time, thrown have built serious momentum. With millions of streams across platforms and a rapidly growing international fanbase, the band have established themselves as one of the most exciting new names in modern metalcore. Their straightforward, no-frills approach has resonated with listeners looking for something real — something that doesn't rely on trends, but on energy and authenticity.

"split" feels like a natural next step. It takes everything the band have done so far and sharpens it — heavier, more direct, and emotionally clearer. It’s not about reinventing their sound, but about pushing it further and making it hit harder.

idle threat Share "wither without" (Feat. Silent Planet's Garrett Russell)

Nashville quintet idle threat  Ernie Fabian [guitar, vocals], Zeke McKinney[bass, vocals], Justin Jones [drums], Nathan Moe [guitar], and Dylan Winstead [guitar] — will drop their new album you'll forget the sun, out May 8 via Tooth & Nail. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band has shared the visualizer for the "wither without," featuring a guest appearance from Silent Planet singer Garrett Russell.

Watch and listen below.

"'wither without' is about watching someone you love slowly decay before your eyes, and the continuous fight that it takes to stay by their side when everything in you wants to look away," the band explains. "It's about carrying on their memory when they've lost their own."

"wither without" follows "in tandem," the moody and angular track, featuring Haste the Day vocalist Stephen Keech, which was released earlier this year. Listen Below:

idle threat will also support Haste the Day at Eastside Bowl on May 3 in Nashville.

idle threat aim to dim the darkness and let the light in through the emotional and hopeful lyrics found in each song they meticulously craft. The Nashville rock band not only gives you the space to scream next to them; they also offer up hopeful hooks you can hum along to. The quintet writes the kinds of songs that recognize how tough life is, but still help you get through it with your body, mind, and spirit intact.

As such, their second full-length album, you’ll forget the sun [Tooth & Nail], provides a reminder to keep going no matter what.

"There's a two-part meaning to you'll forget the sun," Fabian reveals. "On one hand, the days can be so dark that you forget the sun exists. On the other hand, when we step into the presence of God—whose glory is so radiant and bright—the sun will pale in comparison. We're pondering this dichotomy from a perspective informed by our faith and experiences. All of the hard things will eventually fade away, and we'll be left in the presence of light."

idle threat have uplifted listeners with a combination of cathartic energy and open-hearted honesty since 2016's Grown Tired EP. They deepened their connection with an ardent audience on blurred visions in 2021 highlighted by "no turning back," "driftwood" [feat. Cory Brandan of Norma Jean], and many others. They toured with everyone from Make Sure, Distend, Meadows, and Roy Sullivan to Norma Jean, Emery, Aaron Gillespie, and Watashi Wa, in addition to appearing at Furnace Fest twice.

Throughout the spring of 2025, the musicians recorded you'll forget the sun in Nashville with Haste The Day frontman Stephen Keech behind the board as producer. In the studio, they made major creative leaps as a collective, honing their sound in the process.
