Listen to “Snake Charmer” below:

The album features the first single "Snake Charmer", with its sexy, hypnotic groove and killer guitar riffs it explores the age-old dilemma of female wiles versus a man's blind obsession. The second single, "There’s A Better Day Comin’", is a soaring Rock 'n' Roll anthem of hope. Its gospel-like arrangement is meant to convey a feeling of optimism in a world where we could all use some. In the third single, "Sad, Sad Song", Steele delivers a poignant ballad recounting his hardscrabble life and tragic youth. Guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye.

Steele said, “This is the record I've always wanted to make. It's my first solo record. No compromises. I answered to no one but myself."

All of these songs showcase Kevin's masterful songwriting across all the musical styles that have shaped his colorful career, including glam, punk, rock, blues, and even southern gospel. Kevin’s band Roxx Gang were one of America’s great bands and the first rock band signed to Virgin Records in America. Their debut record, the classic "Things You've Never Done Before", sold over 250,000 copies. In a way, they were the bridge between glam and grunge and The Mojo Gurus played a vital role in keeping rock-n-roll alive in "the Tens" working with legendary producers Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith, New York Dolls) and Tommy Henricksen (Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, The Hollywood Vampires). With One Thing Left To Do, Steele brings his musical journey full circle with a truly remarkable record that you just have to hear.

Joining Kevin on this new record is guitar phenom / co producer Billy Summer (Florida, Luxury Mane, The New Brutarians) whose music has been heard on major TV shows and films such as Ted Lasso, The Affair, Harpoon, Life and Beth, Chicago Fire, Property Brothers and many others. The result is one hot slab of Rock 'n' Roll revelry covering several genres that showcase a track list of impressive playing and songwriting.

"Billy and I made such a great team. Instant connection of the minds. He knew instinctively where I was going musically with each song before I would even tell him. That's why they call us the Cosmic Twins”, said Kevin.

The band is an allstar collection of Tampa Bay, Florida musicians playing at the top of their game. They formed an instant camaraderie and the good times had in the recording sessions shine across every track!

Also, on Friday, February 27 he celebrates the release of his new record at Bayboro Brewing Company. Kevin will perform the new record in its entirety, backed by an all-star band of Tampa Bay musicians featuring guitarist Billy Summer.

Eric Church Launches 2026 with GRAMMY-Nominated 'Evangeline vs. The Machine' Tour, IMAX Film & Live Album

With his latest critically acclaimed project, Evangeline vs. The Machine, up for the Best Contemporary Country Album nod at next weekend’s GRAMMY Awards, 11-time nominee Eric Church is already entering 2026 at full throttle. Last night, Jan. 22, the Chief launched the new year with an intimate underplay at Washington, D.C.’s The Anthem, kicking off leg 2 of his Free the Machine Tour and setting the stage for a spring run from the man celebrated by Pollstar for “his high-energy, Springsteen-esque marathon performances.”

The Free the Machine Tour returns following a landmark 2025 run that reaffirmed Church’s reputation for pushing the boundaries of the live concert experience. The 2026 dates carry that same spirit forward, pairing large-scale ambition with moments of raw immediacy.

That energy is captured on today’s release of “Give Me Back My Hometown (Live At The Pinnacle, Nashville, TN / May 24, 2025).” The reimagined version of Church’s 2x Platinum, chart-topping hit appears on the forthcoming Evangeline vs. The Machine Comes Alive (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) arriving Feb. 13 via MCA. The 19-track live album serves as a companion to the IMAX® exclusive theatrical release of Evangeline vs. The Machine Comes Alive on Feb. 11 and 14.

Church hosted a special screening event for members of his passionate Church Choir in Nashville earlier this week, previewing the limited theatrical release that showcases Church performing his GRAMMY-nominated eighth studio album front-to-back before transitioning into select catalog hits, all reimagined with a six-piece band, four-piece horns, four-piece strings, eight-piece choir and vocalist Joanna Cotten. Filmed across two nights at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tenn., the performance comes to life through a unique perspective that can only be achieved in IMAX. A full list of locations for the February showings is available via IMAX.com/EricChurch, with tickets on sale now.

With a new live release out today, the Free the Machine Tour back on the road and both an IMAX film and live album on deck, Church’s 2026 is already defined by momentum that continues to challenge expectations and reaffirm his place at the forefront of modern country music.

For more information on all to come, visit EricChurch.com and follow on Facebook and Twitter/X @ericchurch and on Instagram @ericchurchmusic.

About Eric Church
A seven-time ACM Award winner, four-time CMA Award winner (including 2020’s Entertainer of the Year), TIME100 Philanthropy 2025 honoree and 11-time GRAMMY nominee – including four nods for Best Country Album, Eric Church has built a passionate fan base through his critically acclaimed catalog of music. Church’s October 2024 release, “Darkest Hour,” saw the superstar signing over all of his publishing royalties to the people of North Carolina to provide immediate relief following the devastation of Hurricane Helene while also providing ongoing funds to support a more resilient future for his home state. The song is featured alongside current single “Hands Of Time” on his latest album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, marking his first new music since 2021’s Heart & Soul triple album (“Stick That In Your Country Song,” “Hell Of A View”). That project followed prior releases including RIAA Gold-certified Desperate Man (“Some Of It,” “Desperate Man”), Platinum-certified Sinners Like Me (“How ’Bout You,” “Guys Like Me”), Carolina (“Smoke a Little Smoke,” “Love Your Love the Most”) and Mr. Misunderstood (“Record Year,” “Round Here Buzz”), Double-Platinum certified The Outsiders (“Like a Wrecking Ball,” “Talladega”) and 4x Platinum-certified Chief (“Springsteen,” “Drink In My Hand”), as well as 32 Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum certified songs. Church is also a minority owner of the Charlotte Hornets, a co-owner of the iconic Field & Stream brand, and has his own SiriusXM music channel, “Eric Church Outsiders Radio,” his own liquor offering, Whiskey JYPSI, and his own six-story venue on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway, Chief’s.

Paul Cauthen Sets BOOK OF PAUL for April 3; “Texas Swagger” Out Now

Embodying the independent spirit of his two decade climb through the country underground, iconoclastic artist Paul Cauthen pairs his booming baritone with a near-biblical swagger for his upcoming fifth album, Book of Paul

Out April 3, classic-country grit and gospel power fuse with a rhinestoned rock-and-roll edge, as the singer-songwriter known as “Big Velvet” returns to his East Texas roots. With a well documented distaste for playing by anyone else’s rules, the fiery singer-songwriter writes his own creative code in permanent ink.

“If you look at the Bible, there is no book of Paul,” Cauthen explains. “I just wanted to write something that embodies me, because I’m sick of hearing records catered to what’s hot and what’s working. Me, I’ve always been this country boy, East Texas guy. Roots, rock and roll, Texas gospel. If you look back at all my albums, I’m proud to say I meant everything I’ve said.”

Pre-save / pre-add Paul Cauthen’s Book of Paul

With production split between chart-topping songwriter Ryan Tyndell, Steve Rusch (Jessie Murph, Koe Wetzel) and Sam Martinez (Tyler Braden, Carrie Underwood), plus Fustin (Priscilla Block) and Nate Ferraro (Beyoncé), Cauthen’s streak of against-the-grain attitude continues.

Capturing his unruly essence with all the charm of a rattlesnake (and the vocal venom to match), gritty, swampy, East Texas country comes alive under Cauthen’s undeniable artistic gravitas, as a true-to-him battle between darkness and light unfolds. The rising star co-wrote 12 of 13 tracks and even plays bass and drums on select tracks, carving a path of utterly authentic country music; fearless, proud and with two middle fingers in the air.

“It’s just being who you are – unapologetically yourself – and that’s every one of my records,” Cauthen says. “I have built my whole career going against the grain, and that’s what this record is. The freaking trials and tribulations of Paul. It’s everything I wanted on an album.”

Highlighting the rising star’s mission, Cauthen marks the album announcement with the release of “Texas Swagger.” With its bronc-bucking beat, dark twang and barely contained sense of danger, the tune was co-written by Cauthen with Rob Ragosta and Martinez, who also produced.

With a full dose of Big Velvet attitude, the track also comes with a strutting music video, directed and shot by Gus Black and Randy Quartieri. Filmed at the BuckTown bull riding compound of legend JB Mauney – another true original with a “Texas Swagger” of his own – the clip brings Cauthen’s fierce authenticity to life. “If all else fails, fucking just remember where you came from,” he proclaims.

Coming off one of the biggest years of his career with a GOLD-certified feature on Shaboozey’s “Last Of My Kind,” Cauthen’s “Texas Swagger” joins two previously released tracks from the upcoming Book of Paul.

Soul pop and gospel twang reach a slow-rolling confluence on the East Texas love story “Bayou By You.” And with the hypnotic, outlaw-country romance of “Ain’t No Crime,” Cauthen enters a voluntary lockup of love.

Having collaborated with everyone from Margo Price and Orville Peck to Cody Jinks and Lana Del Rey, Cauthen’s enigmatic “it factor” has been on display since his 2016 solo debut, My Gospel. Landing somewhere in the ether between Waylon Jennings, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis, raucous live shows filled with steel-toed rhinestones and gothic roots rock have cemented his legacy, alongside favorites like “Cocaine Country Dancing” and “Fuck You Money” and the previous albums Room 41Country Coming Down and Black on Black.

Pop Evil Releases Blistering New Single "The Decay"

To mark the one-year anniversary of their acclaimed album What Remains, Pop Evil announce the release of What Remains (Midnight Edition), arriving March 27, 2026.

The band’s new single, “The Decay,” is out today after premiering on SiriusXM Octane yesterday. The track is a riff-forward modern rock track with depth, melody, and staying power.

Regarding the release, Pop Evil shares, “In a world full of pain, lies, distractions, and half-truths, how easy is it to swallow venom dressed up as medicine without recognizing the damage being done? The choice to help or to hurt is ours. This song is raw, uncomfortable, and honest, an invitation to face the darkness, accept responsibility, and choose to make a difference while you still have time.”

To further reflect this mindset, the band made the conscious decision to forgo any use of AI in crafting the official visualizer. Directed by Sam Shapiro and produced by the skilled CGI team at VSRL Company, the visualizer reinforces the song’s core message: what we choose to create and support truly matters. Watch it below.

What Remains (Midnight Edition) expands the album’s powerful legacy with new material, including “The Decay” and a studio-refined reimagining of the iconic ’80s anthem “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” reimagined through Pop Evil’s unmistakable modern-rock lens.

Originally released as Pop Evil’s most uncompromising and emotionally exposed body of work to date, What Remains stands as both a sonic reckoning and a personal confession. Heavier, darker, and more direct than anything the band has released before, the album channels arena-ready modern rock and metal into a deeply introspective narrative, with frontman Leigh Kakaty laying bare the truths, scars, and battles that shaped both his life and the band’s e

With What Remains (Midnight Edition), Pop Evil completes a full creative arc, stripping away armor, confronting the past, and standing firmly in the present. It is a reckoning with who Leigh Kakaty was, who he is now, and who he’s determined to become. More than an anniversary release, the Midnight Edition solidifies What Remains as the definitive Pop Evil statement, unflinching, unapologetic, and impossible to ignore.

Weather caused their set at LTL to be canceled, but Slaughter to Prevail personally invited Sterling on stage to perform with them in a moment of metallic magic. They wrapped 2025 by sharing their Live at the Whisky a Go GO EP, which was recording on August 15 of that year. It marked the band's second performance at the legendary L.A. venue and shows off the kind energy that can only be expended by youth, along with their serious skills. Watch the full performance below. AGENBITE MISERY Release New Single “Circe” from Forthcoming Album Remorse of Conscience

New Hampshire experimental extreme-metal trio AGENBITE MISERY have unveiled “Circe,” the latest single from their forthcoming debut album Remorse of Conscience, due out February 6, 2026.

A more direct black metal track filtered through a psychedelic, exploratory lens, “Circe” adapts the fifteenth chapter of James Joyce’s Ulysses, the infamous “Nighttown” episode, into sound. In the novel, Leopold Bloom and Stephen Dedalus drift drunkenly through Dublin’s red-light district as the chapter dissolves into a feverish hallucination filled with nightmares, guilt, satire, and fleeting grace. AGENBITE MISERY translate this dream logic into music built from hypnotic, undulating riffs that blur structure and sensation, leaving the listener suspended in a disorienting haze.

Rhythmically, the song is deliberately unstable, simultaneously implying both 4 and 6 feels as guitar, bass, and drums suggest conflicting patterns. Arpeggiated chords float over exotic drum figures before collapsing into tremolo-picked, unresolved progressions that nod toward acts like Deathspell Omega. The trance fractures at key moments. Ascending organ lines usher in a shout-along, almost hardcore-tinged chorus driven by skank beats and pick scrapes, while two contrasting guitar solos, one sinister and galloping, the other melodic and angular with an Opeth-inspired edge, cut through the fog. The track ultimately returns to its central riff in a subdued, atmospheric form, mirroring the emotional comedown after a long night of intoxication.

Lyrically, “Circe” draws directly from Joyce’s text, favoring vivid imagery and dark humor over linear narrative. Lines evoke Dublin’s nocturnal landscape dissolving into pastoral hallucinations, robed figures speaking in many tongues, Bloom’s self-lacerating fantasies, and Stephen’s haunted psyche. The song closes on one of the novel’s most poignant moments, Bloom’s vision of the ghostly son he never had, a fragile reminder of humanity and perseverance amid the chaos.

Remorse of Conscience adapts Ulysses into eight aggressive, atmospheric compositions that merge blackened sludge, dissonant death metal, post-punk, and ambient drone. Written in 2023 and recorded in 2024, the album was self-produced by the band, mixed by Eric Sauter, and mastered by Brad Boatright. While steeped in dense literary reference, the record ultimately reaches beyond academia toward the raw human experience at its core, confronting the question of whether meaning can still be found amid modern ruin. AGENBITE MISERY’s answer is unambiguous. Yes.

In support of the album, AGENBITE MISERY will embark on a four-date Northeastern tour this February:

  • February 5 – Blue, Portland ME (with ERGI, INGRATE, BÜZEM)

  • February 6 – Riverhill Grange, Concord NH (with IMIPOLEX, BENEATH PURGATORY, PERFECT SUFFERING)

  • February 7 – AS220, Providence RI (with RHIZARIA, CAREGIVER, SATAN WEED)

  • February 8 – O’Brien’s, Allston MA (with NORTH STAR THE WANDERER, GLOOMLURKER, HEXROT)

AGENBITE MISERY exists at the edge of metal and the margins of modern art, translating abstract ideas into concrete sound with unrelenting force. Whether performing live or recording in isolation, their ethos remains constant: dig deeper, aim higher, and never repeat what has already been done.

AGENBITE MISERY is:
Sam Graff – Guitars / Vocals / Synth
Cam Netland – Bass / Vocals
Adam Richards – Drums / Vocals

OPETH - Release New Performance Video For “§7” From 'The Last Will And Testament'

Swedish progressive metal legends OPETH return with a powerful new performance video for “§7,” a key track from their critically acclaimed album The Last Will and Testament.

The video captures the band in raw, commanding form, spotlighting the precision, atmosphere, and emotional weight that define OPETH at this stage of their career. Focused and unembellished, the performance highlights the band’s musical chemistry and the intensity at the heart of the track.

The release arrives ahead of OPETH’s upcoming U.S. tour, which kicks off in two weeks and will see the band bringing the music of The Last Will and Testament to stages across the country alongside fan favorites from their storied catalog.

Mikael Åkerfeldt comments: “That track was scary to play live at first. Most of our songs are challenging, I suppose, and this one is no exception. I believe we all love playing this one. There are a myriad of details that could go wrong though, but it’s fun. It keeps you on your toes. And of course, then there’s Ian Anderson’s narrations, which is the only thing in our set that isn’t 'live'. Since we don’t play to a click-track, it’s dragging or pushing depending on the tempo of the evening. Again, it’s fun and I love the unforeseeable character of this song in a live setting. That’s a bit odd since I normally want to feel completely secure and really know what I’m doing. I generally don’t like surprises on stage.”

§7” serves as a pivotal moment within the album’s broader narrative, which has been widely praised for its cinematic flow, depth, and fearless exploration of light and shade. By stripping the song back to its essence, the new video reinforces OPETH’s ability to balance technical mastery with emotional resonance - a duality Mikael Åkerfeldt has often highlighted in the band’s work.

Following the U.S. run, OPETH will also perform select dates across Europe later this year.

Fans old and new are encouraged to revisit the album in full, streaming “§7” alongside its other chapters to experience the complete arc as intended. From its haunting opening moments to its powerful conclusion, the record rewards deep listening.

Watch the performance video for “§7” now, listen to The Last Will and Testament on all major platforms, and catch Opeth live where tickets remain available.

But it was with the December 2022 release of breakthrough single "Prisoner" that a new era begun.

With over three million streams and counting, "Prisoner" has triggered a sonic and aesthetic (r)evolution for Ankor, their musical and visual worlds ascending to new creative heights ever since; The conceptually bound singles "Oblivion," "Darkbeat," "Stereo," and "Venom" that have followed have seen lyrical narratives, sonic aesthetics, and self-directed and edited music videos flow together to reshape Ankor in a playful, energetic, and refreshing new form: a fusion of Asian pop-culture, contemporary metalcore, and a dash of Spanish heritage.

A strong spirit of optimism and forward drive powers the album’s more arena-ready passages, as Tyketto tap back into their classic arena rock roots —most strikingly on

Some paths were broken before they could be completed, and certain cities were left waiting. That tension did not fade. It stayed with us, sharpened us, and demanded a proper return.”

She continues, “Time to Rise Part I U.S. Tour 2026 emerges from that demand. What comes next carries intention, consequence, and elements that will not announce themselves in advance. There will be moments you are not prepared for, choices you didn’t plan to make, impulses you didn’t expect to feel, and yet, you will feel them. Anaheim and Reno are part of that reckoning. To the sinners who remained present despite uncertainty: this chapter is written with you in mind. BLEED FROM WITHIN - Reveal Live Audiotree Session

Scottish metal heavyweights, Bleed From Within, are proud to reveal their live Audiotree Session. The band filmed the one take performance during their 2025 North America tour supporting Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium, featuring songs from their latest album Zenith and more. Audiotree are renowned for showcasing talented musicians from around the world. Their channel has become a cornerstone, capturing intimate studio performances from diverse artists.

Watch the Bleed From Within x Audiotree session below:

Bleed From Within stated:
"We’ve had our eyes on Audiotree for quite some time. We saw this as an opportunity to showcase our material in a new light, without the usual production that we have with us in a live environment. In an age of over produced records & bands editing live footage, it felt refreshing to walk into a room and just play our instruments knowing that this was our one take and only chance to dial it in. There were no run throughs or drop ins. Play it loud, then come see it in the flesh in April/May on our first ever headline tour of North America!"

ABOUT BLEED FROM WITHIN

After 20 years, Bleed from Within have reached their Zenith. The Glasgow firebrands are one of the hardest working acts in metal: playing shows globally with everyone from Megadeth to Slipknot, all while writing and regularly releasing monstrous, exhilarating songs. The upward journey reaches new heights on their seventh album, which contains the band’s heaviest, catchiest and most intrepid music to date.

Bleed – vocalist Scott Kennedy, guitarists Craig “Goonzi” Gowans and Steven Jones, drummer Ali Richardson and bassist Davie Provan – have long been Scottish metal’s most valued sons, constantly at the vanguard of muscular-sounding music. First albums Humanity(2009) and Empire (2010) made them cult figureheads in the deathcore scene, before Uprising(2013) broadened their palate with groove metal adrenaline and melodic death metal prowess. It also marked their major-label debut, catapulting them onto tours with heavy royalty.

In 2018, the band returned with the ferocious Era. Then, follow-ups Fracture (2020) and Shrine(2022) proved their greatest triumphs to date, intertwining Scott’s snarls with Steven’s majestic singing. The millions of streams gathered by such singles as ‘The End of All We Know’, ‘Into Nothing’ and ‘Levitate’ proved Bleed had become the next big thing. On Zenith – which was announced alongside career-affirming tours with Slipknot, Trivium and Bullet for My Valentine – the quintet are primed to leap into superstardom.

Across 11 songs, Zenith explores the parameters of what pulse-pounding metal can do. ‘Violent Nature’ is the most attention-demanding opener Bleed have ever penned, accelerating from a distorted intro to an onslaught of drums, blitzkrieg riffs and layer upon layer of screams. Single ‘In Place of Your Halo’ is a heavier counterpoint: its hulking groove leads up to a surprising bagpipe section, keeping the band in touch with their homeland as they affirm themselves on the world’s stage. From the bold string sections throughout the album to finale ‘Edge of Infinity’, which rises from acoustic guitars and singing to an almighty crescendo, Bleed’s horizons have never been broader. Yet, their songs have never felt so invigorating across the board either.

Bleed From Within are:
Scott Kennedy - Vocals
Craig Gowans - Lead Guitar
Steven Jones - Rhythm Guitar & Vocals
David Provan - Bass
Ali Richardson - Drums

WORMWITCH Kicks Off Canadian Headlining Tour Tomorrow, January 22

WORMWITCH is ringing in the new year with a headlining run across Canada along with support from Vancouver's SCALDING! The trek starts tomorrow, January 22, in Ottawa, ON and will conclude on January 26 in Sherbrooke (QC). The full itinerary can be found below while tickets can be found HERE.

The band previously commented, "Wormwitch is finally making our long overdue return to the great Canadian shield, this time joined by our western brethren in Scalding. These are sure to be five frigid evenings of unhinged Canadian metal, square in the middle of what is predicted to be a particularly unforgiving winter.”

WORMWITCH will be supporting their eponymous fourth studio album, which was released on July 26, 2024 via Profound Lore Records and can be found HERE. The band is pleased to reveal that they are working on new music with an EP expected later this year!

WORMWITCH sets out to combine a melodic blackened death assault with the ferocity and attitude of crust punk and classic rock and roll, jettisoning the burdens of ceremony and pomp that dominate the genre today.

WORMWITCH Canadian Tour Dates 2026 (w/ support from Scalding):

01/22: Ottawa, ON @ Dominion

01/23: Toronto, ON @ Lee’s Palace

01/24: Montreal, QC @ Cabaret Foufs

01/25: Quebec City, QC @ L’Anti Bar

01/26: Sherbrooke, QC @ Le Murdoc

Like black wings from an obsidian sky, WORMWITCH descended from the darkness in 2015, somewhere upon the rain-soaked woodlands of coastal British Columbia. Animated from the bones of several local punk and metal bands, the new entity set out to combine a melodic blackened death assault with the ferocity and attitude of crust punk and classic rock and roll, jettisoning the burdens of ceremony and pomp that dominate the genre today.

WORMWITCH released their first demo, 'The Long Defeat' in 2015, and shortly after signed to Prosthetic Records, under whom they released 'Strike Mortal Soil' (2017), 'Heaven that Dwells Within' (2019), and 'Wolf Hex' (2021). During that time the band toured with the likes of The Black Dahlia Murder, Suffocation, Midnight, Necrot, Uada, Bewitcher, and many others, earning themselves a dedicated cult following and international critical praise. In 2022, WORMWITCH struck out to independently release a string of singles and embark upon several tours of North America. After a busy festival season, 2024 saw the release of a six-song split with Atlanta black-thrashers Sadistic Ritual.

Now, with blades meticulously honed and tempered under the light of a feral Canadian moon, WORMWITCH emerges once more to offer their fourth full length record. Simply self-titled, “Wormwitch” is a statement of a band coming into it’s own - a revelrous celebration of devilish speed, searing melody and diabolical intensity.

Wormwitch Lineup:

Robin Harris: Bass, Vocals

Colby Hink: Guitars

Israel Langlais: Drums

Recording & Mixing: Michael Kraushaar at Little Red Sounds at New Westminster, BC

Mastering: Brad Boatright at Audiosiege

Kenny Adds SIX Sphere Shows in July; Look for Big Fly-Away Energy

When Kenny Chesney decides to do something – whether it’s Heart Life Music, his No. 1 New York Times best-seller, which he called “a love letter to the journey,” or taking No Shoes Nation into a whole new dimension with his groundbreaking Sphere residency – he truly commits to the process, the music, the experience, and especially the fans. Having realized all the opportunities Sphere’s production capabilities offer to deepen how people experience these songs that have defined their lives, he doubled down on playing Sphere in 2026.

“Beyond how different it was, there was all the fun,” offers the 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee. “Seeing all the faces, plus all the crazy things we could do with the sound and visuals, I knew well before we finished, we were coming back and taking all of it even further. With all the work that’s going into changing up over half the show, adding more songs we might not be able to play in stadiums, pulling some surprises, five shows weren’t going to be enough…

“When we were able to make the 4th of July weekend a flyaway, come stay, see Guitars, Tiki Bars and let’s share a whole lotta love, I was very much, ‘Let’s do it.’ So, we did. Like we flashed on the screen at our final show when it said, ‘See you next summer’ – we’re setting up for summer vacation, only the sand isn’t a beach, and you don’t have to drive anywhere!”

For the only country artist on Pollstar’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the 21st Century – landing between Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and Metallica – creating the ultimate concert experience requires a lot of commitment. Taking Sphere even further means the five previously announced June shows and these six dates will be Chesney’s only headlining concerts this summer.

Calling last year’s residency “a sonic and visual rollercoaster,” USA Today headlined their review “Kenny Chesney delivers a vibrant, visually arresting feast.” While it’s a high bar to cross, it’s everything the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee lives for. Not only is he thinking about how to make it even more, Chesney’s looking to enrich the feeling of community for the millions of people who’ve lived, loved and built their best times inside his songs.

“This isn’t something you can do every year,” explains Billboard’s No. 1 Country Artist of the 21st Century. “But to be able to put two years together, to take what you know and double down on something so unique? It’s an opportunity for us, No Shoes Nation and even people who just love Sphere shows to experience the joy in a completely different way.”

Beyond Chesney’s high energy shows, this year’s Sphere concerts will include several different ways to experience Kenny culture. Like last year, the free-to-all Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love experience will return – in a whole new location – to bring people inside the journey. Beyond that, there are several different packages and opportunities to enjoy; many affording additional time to hang out with fellow citizens of No Shoes Nation beyond the actual concert.

Vibee, the music-led destination experience company, is the official VIP Concert & Hotel Experience Package partner for Chesney’s shows at Sphere. All Concert & Hotel Experience Packages include a choice of ‘The Sandbar’ (floor GA) or premium reserved seating at Sphere, a collectible laminate and lanyard, access to ‘Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love – the Kenny Chesney Fan Experience’ pop-up – and a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas – the only resort connected to Sphere. ‘Live Like We Do’ package holders will enjoy additional VIP perks, including priority entry to Sphere, access to exclusive VIP space ‘The VERY Vibe Room’ with a dedicated merch store and special programming, priority access to ‘Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love – the Kenny Chesney Fan Experience,’ luxury motorcoach transport to and from the airport, an exclusive Kenny Chesney curated gift bag and more. For guests who do not require accommodation or airport transfer, ‘Roll Like We Do’ VIP Concert Experience Packages will also be available. UADA Honors New Moon with Haunting Acoustic Version of "The Purging Fire"

Enigmatic black metal masters UADA are honoring the first new moon of 2026 with a very special track. The band is now unveiling a haunting neo-folk acoustic version of their seminal song, "The Purging Fire," from the band's critically-acclaimed 2018 full-length, 'Cult of a Dying Sun.' The moving version of the song can now be found along with a music video below.

The video was filmed and edited by Karl Whinnery and directed by Jake Superchi, with Evan Gandy serving as the co-director of photography.

UADA comments, "Following the first New Moon of the year, in the heart of the Wolf Moon cycle, it feels like an exceptional moment to present an unprecedented rendition from the UADA catalog.

"To re-create something in such a radically different and unique way was nothing short of a challenge—a challenge that had been calling for some time. One that demanded to be answered.

"Although the structural foundation of the piece was already in place, the execution itself unfolded as an impromptu session, allowing the natural essence to emerge freely and significantly.

"While we may have had preconceptions about how the musical and vocal interpretation might sound leading up to its (re)creation, everything transformed in the moment of realization, embracing a liberated state of “come what may.”

"Folk music and art have always been a profound influence, and even though this piece was recorded two and a half years ago, the presence of folk elements in our lives and writing feels more prominent today than ever before.

"Though we assume most may not fully grasp our necessity for this adaptation, we hope it will ignite a primal awakening within listeners—to seek the ancient ways and venture into a past that feels increasingly forgotten in the current state of the world."

In addition, UADA has joined forces with industrial metal artist MORTIIS for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuter’s ROME and WRAITH KNIGHT. UADA will be performing their seminal 2016 debut album 'Devoid of Light' in its entirety + a special CERMONIAL CASTINGS 30-year anniversary set featuring Wraith Knight. In addition, MORTIIS shall be performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, 'The Smell Of Rain,' along with other volumes of dystopian despair. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are now available HERE.

Moreover, after much demand from fans, UADA will be returning to Milwaukee Metal Fest for the second time since leaving their mark during the 2024 edition. The festival will take place at The Rave/Eagle's Club from June 4 - 7, with UADA performing on the 7th. More info and tickets can be found HERE.

Ever since the cloaked Pacific Northwest band appeared on the music radar, UADA has always been electrified by both polar worlds. Their echelon was stark and meaningful. Within the stretch of four albums as well as dense and triumphant live shows across the globe, they have not only spiked the map of extreme metal music but their unrelenting touring schedule and unbridled will to push forward into new horizons has also earned them a reception in all the extremes imaginable, be it worship or spite.

Kindled from Uada's second record, 'Cult of a Dying Sun,' this reimagined torch song wields orchestral grandeur, weaving through the dreamlike forests of inner vision and stirring the primordial cauldron of sonic magick.

Only Human Announce Inventive Debut 'Planned Obsolescence'

No matter the day and age, progressive metal never strays from the cutting edge. ONLY HUMAN are fresh on the scene having now signed with Season of Mist. But the Danish upstarts are already on the brink of a major discovery with their inventive debut album. Planned Obsolescence pushes prog metal in a truly forward-thinking direction while warning of our not-too-distant dystopia.

“We wanted ONLY HUMAN to be about something”, says vocalist Patrick Grønbæch Christensen, who also produced, mixed and mastered their debut album. “Planned Obsolescence is supposed to wake people up to all the ways technocracy is encroaching on society. We now live in a reality where humans are products to be consumed and disposed”.

Today, ONLY HUMAN are announcing Planned Obsolescence with a suspenseful video for the album’s lead single. “Automata” transmits a chilling message for the future, but the band’s cutting-edge fusion hits like a deep breath of fresh air.

Watch the video for “Automata” below;

Planned Obsolescence comes out March 27, 2026 on Season of Mist.

Concept albums are standard procedure for metal, especially when it comes to the prog space. But when the five members of ONLY HUMAN came together via online and IRL connections, they wired the entire band’s framework around one encroaching idea. “Automata” surfs its synthetic grooves with clear command, as if by simply pressing a button. Though beneath its shining surface, the song processes the inherent danger in letting technology determine our individual thought patterns. During the music video, three thrill seekers follow guidance from their smartphone. Good times are had along the way, but tragically, they never stop to question whether it’s leading them to a dead end.

“We’ve offloaded critical thought”, Christensen explains. “We’re not really doing things because we want to do them. It’s because an algorithm has decided that’s what we should do”.

Planned Obsolescence is fueled by existential dread. Like a virus, electronic beats hack into the hard drive of “Automata”, much in the same way that technology continues to creep into our everyday lives. But that doesn’t mean that the album leaves us without hope. There’s nothing broken, outmoded or dated about ONLY HUMAN. When main-frame shaking riffs reduce the song to digital ash, their message rings out loud and clear. “Defy and learn to walk again”.

“When the world is going badly, the reason is because people gave up”, says Christensen. “Things aren’t hopeless. We can absolutely fight back. Hopefully, this album gets people to think about valuing humanity over profit”.

Catch ONLY HUMAN live and in the flesh this year, starting next weekend in Denmark with Svartsot.

The video for “Automata” was directed by muyingo.

ONLY HUMAN’s vision for the future verges on apocalyptic. “Breach” closes the album by looking past the point of no return. Amidst its crushing despair, even the song’s glowing keys appear like a comet bound for Earth. But while fueled by existential dread, Planned Obsolescence isn’t void of hope. After all, there’s nothing broken, outmoded or dated about this new band. Unlike the attempts of artificial intelligence, their fusion of prog, djent, hard rock and electronic soundscapes is the product of much care and hard work. They had to tinker with several different versions before “Steep Descent” finally reached its climactic bridge. "Cast your flame beyond this bleak reality”, Christensen beckons as dizzying melodies and a stellar guitar solo propel him and his bandmates into the next stratosphere.

“When the world is going badly, the reason is because people gave up”, Christensen concludes. “Things aren’t hopeless. We can absolutely fight back. Hopefully, this album gets people to think about valuing humanity over profit”.
