Girlschool originated in the UK during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal Scene in 1978 and is frequently associated with contemporaries and friends Motörhead. They are the longest running all-female rock band, still active and rocking hard after more than 40 years.

Girlschool enjoyed strong media exposure and commercial success in the U.K. in the early 1980s with three albums of 'punk-tinged metal' and a few singles.

In the 1990s and 2000s, they concentrated their efforts on live shows and tours, reducing considerably the production of studio albums. During their long career Girlschool toured all over the world, performing at many of the biggest rock and metal festivals as well as co-headlining with or supporting some of the most important hard rock and heavy metal bands in the genre.

They maintain a worldwide cult following and are considered an inspiration for many succeeding female rock musicians, such as The Donnas.

Original members Kim McAuliffe, Denise (Drench) Dufort are still in the band to this day, original member lead guitarist /vocalist/songwriter Kelly Johnson died of cancer in 2007 and was replaced by lead guitarist/songwriter Jackie (Jax) Chambers in 1999.

On July 28, 2023 at FORTY-FIVE years young, the British hard rock royalty came out swinging with their 14th studio album 'WTFortyfive?,' an outstanding and deliciously dirty declaration that age is a number that shows how much real raw attitude you have when it really counts. Kim, Denise, Jackie and Tracey leave the grit under their finger nails and the scuzz on their crusty leather boots as they riff and stomp their way through 12 statements of intent showing major attitude, some great melodies, and a consistent crunch to every guitar.

Lineup:

Kim McAuliffe: rhythm guitar, lead and backing vocals

Denise Dufort: drums Olivia Airey: bass

Jackie Chambers: lead guitar, backing vocals

THE NEVERLAND EXPRESS + CALEB JOHNSON PERFORMING MUSIC FROM ROCKY HORROR LIVE FROM CLEVELAND DROPS ON SEPTEMBER 6TH FROM DEKO ENTERTAINMENT

The Neverland Express + Caleb Johnson is following up their 2023 release Paradise Found: Bat Out Of Hell Reignited with a new, live EP that captures an electrifying performance of classic tracks from the The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The band line-up is Andy Ascolese (keys & bv), Ed Avila (bass & bv), Kiley Baxter (vocals), Paul Crook (gtr), Randy Flowers (gtr & bv), Caleb Johnson (vocals), Lyssa Lynne (vocals), and John Miceli (drums).

This Limited-Edition EP was produced and mixed by Meat Loaf’s long time record producer, music director, guitarist, Paul Crook. As Crook states, “I love Rocky Horror. I have some unique affiliations. Obviously, the first being Meat Loaf. Watching my Boss perform “Hot Patootie”, crashing through a wall on a motorcycle while looking like a zombified version of Elvis Presley is a highlight. It’s amazing that anyone could steal focus away from Tim Curry, but Meat pulled it off for me. His scene comes to my mind first when I think of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.Another affiliation is Sebastian Bach. Our friendship goes back about 30 years in which I toured and recorded with him for several years after his departure from Skid Row. Sebastian handled the role of RIFF RAFF in the 2001 Broadway production. He was great, very entertaining and his voice worked well for the character. My third affiliation now, is this new EP”

Pre-Save Live From Cleveland: https://push.fm/ps/lfc

Caleb Johnson is the winner of American Idol season 13 and he delivers his own unique stamp on these classics. As Johnson states, “I have always been a huge fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Putting my own spin on these timeless songs has been a total blast! We really wanted to take these songs to more of a hard rock place and sonically it sounds huge! Excited for everyone to hear these live recordings. It definitely harkens back to the original live cast recording from the Roxy”. As Crook continues, We are excited to perform these songs for the first time in the UK on The Never Stop Rocking Tour. Here are the dates:

HORRENDOUS Release Video for "Preterition Hymn"

This month marks one year since Horrendous brought the metal realm to its knees in worship of Ontological Mysterium. After exploding from the underground in 2018 with the cultishly beloved Idol, last year, the Philadelphia death metal band were the toast of the genre's critics.

Decibel, Metal Injection, BangerTV and Metal Hammer all listed Ontological Mysterium high atop their 2023 best-of lists, often right alongside the band's recent tour mates Tomb Mold. The album also cracked the Billboard charts, climbing well inside the Top 10 of the Current Hard Music Albums.

Today, Horrendous are celebrating the first anniversary of Ontological Mysterium with their first-ever music video. The album's slow-burning triump "Preterition Hymn" now comes with a glorious film treatment that's worthy of a Viking funeral.

Watch the video for "Preterition Hymn" Below.

"Our long awaited video debut is a symbolic journey through the lyrical themes of 'Preterition Hymn'", the band says. "It's a psalm for the lowly and the damned, the Preterite and the passed over, sitting beneath the feet of the elect. Our downtrodden heroes are driven in chains by a mournful god to their final trial in this realm, sounding their last desperate cries in defiance of the fate bestowed upon them--and upon all of us. Is their sacrifice enough to win salvation? To rise in glorious flames? In communion with the spirit of the song, we endured the pain of icy November waters, risking life and limb to capture and offer up an authentic sacrifice in the name of the Preterite ones. Lift your voices along with our heroes that you may ascend before the tides rise again…"

Ontological Mysterium is available now through Season of Mist.

Horrendous 10th Anniversary Set of Ecdysis Live @ Decibel's 20th Anniversary Show w/ Autopsy + Immolation

August 31 - Philadelphia, PA @ Brooklyn Bowl [TICKETS]

"This will be a special day for us," the band says. "Ecdysis was a significant milestone in our musical journey. Three of the album's songs have never been performed live, and many others have not been played in years. We hope you'll join us to celebrate - long live the Vermillion!"

Many Eyes began in the winter of 2022 when Keith Buckley (Ex-Every Time I Die, The Damned Things) connected with brothers Nick (Producer/ Owner of Dexter's Lab Recording) and Charlie Bellmore (Corpsegrinder/ Toxic Holocaust) through their mutual friend, Jamey Jasta, frontman for metal legends Hatebreed. The Light Age was written and recorded over a few weeks in both Buffalo, NY, and Milford, CT, where the members reside.Taking cues from the Grunge Rock and Hardcore of the 1990s that was so influential to them growing up, the members of Many Eyes skillfully blend chaos with melody.

Many Eyes’ live performances, including their tour with post-hardcore icons THURSDAY, have demonstrated their ability to deliver high-energy shows with precision and emotion. With Craig Vittorio now on guitar and Sean Vallie on bass, alongside Nick Bellmore’s powerful drumming and Keith Buckley’s commanding vocals, the band remains focused on pushing forward and exploring new creative horizons.

As they embark on the next phase of their journey, Many Eyes remains committed to their core ethos—creating music that resonates deeply with listeners, blending raw power with melodic depth, and continually evolving as artists. The future looks bright as they continue to chart their path forward.

BlessTheFall Drop "Drag Me Under" Video — WATCH // Touring This Fall

In Spring 2023, the Arizona quartet — Beau Bokan [vocals], Eric Lambert[guitar], Jared Warth [bass], and Elliott Gruenberg [guitar] — dropped "Wake the Dead," their first new track in five years. It has already accred a whopping 10 million streams.

Today, the band has shared the video for the recently released new single — "Drag Me Under," featuring Alpha Wolf's Lochie Keogh. And yes, it rips. The song was co-written by Tony Cappocchi from Dragged Under and produced and mixed by Hiram Hernandez.

 Watch the video below.

"The first time I heard the instrumental for 'Drag Me Under,' my mind was absolutely blown away," says Bokan. "This song punishes you relentlessly then lets you breathe for about four seconds then continues to punish. I knew we needed a top tier feature to really make this song stand out so we recruited Lochie Keogh from Alpha Wolf. It's pretty obvious this song is totally different than anything we're ever done but still sounds like Blessthefall.”

Blessthefall will also embark on a headline tour. It kicks off August 28 in Berkley, California and runs through September 28 in Davenport, Iowa. All dates are below. Get tickets here

blessthefall's notched back-to-back Top 25 debuts on the Billboard 200 with Hollow Bodies [2013] and To Those Left Behind [2015], while 2018's Hard Feelings marked their third straight Top 5 bow on the Top Alternative Albums Chart. With the latter, Unclear claimed the band "may have struck serious gold," while Alternative Press applauded how "blessthefall blend old-school vibes and a fresh new sound." Speaking to their enduring legacy, they've racked up hundreds of millions of streams with "Hey Baby, Here's That Song You Wanted" at 33.8 million Spotify streams followed by "Hollow Bodies" at 26.2 million Spotify streams in addition to landing syncs in franchises such as Splinter Cell. In the wake of a successful 10-year anniversary tour to celebrate Witness in 2019, blessthefall went quiet for the next two years. Between the global pandemic and various other gigs, the members still kept the lines of communication open. The band now emerges from a half-decade of dormancy, and not a moment too soon.

Zeal & Ardor Drop "Kilanova" Video — WATCH // New Album "GREIF" Out Now // Fall Tour On Deck

ZEAL & ARDOR isn't just a band; it's a living and breathing entity. Like any sentient being, it consumes, evolves, and transforms from one season to the next. It has only sharpened its claws, lengthened its teeth, and steeled its nerves over the years, growing more undeniable and unpredictable in the process.

The band dropped its fourth album, the self-produced GREIF, on August 23. Get it here.

Today, the band has shared the cinematic video for "Kilonova," which plays out like a short film against the backdrop of the song's tension.

Watch it below.

"A 'Kilonova' is when two supernovas collide," band leader Manguel Gagneuxstates. "It's the type of grandeur I'm after."

Now that you've had a moment to ponder and chew on that sentiment...

The band will return to North American soil with a headline tour that kicks off November 23 in Philadelphia and runs through December 18 in Dallas. Gaerea and Zetra will support. Get tickets here. All dates are posted below.

Rather than stagnating, basking in global acclaim garnered from three previous albums — Devil Is Fine [2017], Stranger Fruit [2018] and Zeal & Ardor [2022] — Manuel opted to shake things up for GREIF.

Instead of creatively flying solo again, this time he welcomed his bandmates into the studio, featuring three voices for the first time and emboldening the sound from every angle. As such, the musicians — Tiziano Volante [guitar], Marc Obrist [vocals], Denis Wagner [vocals], Lukas Kurmann [bass], and Marco Von Allmen [drums] — spread their wings alongside him. Decamping to Obrist's studio Hutch Sounds in Switzerland, the record came to life in just five months.

"We've really evolved into a tight-knit unit," explains Obrist. "Before Zeal & Ardor, we were basically strangers, but we're like a little family now. Each member brings his own unique flavor to the mix, and we all try to make Manuel's songs better in our own way. The most interesting part for me was the new approach of how we work together in the studio."

"I wanted to expand upon what we had and introduce new colors," Manuel continues. "There are angry and accusatory moments, but there’s also some solace and happiness. I’m widening the palette of colors we have to paint with. These are avenues we haven’t tried."

"We invite listeners to hear the full spectrum of the different sides and sounds that make Zeal & Ardor," Tiziano leaves off. "There are some gorgeous moments, but it packs in a lot of intensity and charm. In Manuel's songwriting and the process with every member, there's a certain intentionality as well as an element of randomness and accident. I can't wait to see people’s reactions."

In January 2024, ZEAL & ARDOR released Play With The Devil, a documentary film by Olivier Joliat and Matthias Willi. The documentary intimately chronicles Manuel Gagneux's journey from the inception of ZEAL & ARDOR through initial tours and a soul-searching period of crisis. The bold mix of Black Metal with old work songs and field hollers by the enslaved — his answer to a racist provocation on the internet — is politically explosive. As a person of color in metal, Gagneux and his music have shone a light on religion, racism, segregation, and cultural appropriation.  However, the sudden surge in acclaim and the weight of being hailed a visionary leader by fans threatened to overwhelm the softly-spoken, introverted artist. Play With The Devil is available now for streaming on major platforms. For more information and to watch, visit here.

Kenny Chesney Closes Out Gillette #3 With Heart; 183,224

For night three of Kenny Chesney’s Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour at Gillette Stadium, the eight-time Entertainer of the Year played it straight-up, delivering a sweeping set that spanned his career. Now something of making summer official tradition, Chesney’s 22nd, 23rd and 24th shows at the home of the New England Patriots since 2005 – with three years off during the COVID shutdown – were wide-open love letters to how people live, finding the best outlook on any given situation, love, life and joy. And Chesney’s final show delivered on those notions with a lot of heart and passion.

“The last night is always so hard,” Chesney said, “because you’ve shared so many things over a few months… You get close, you have fun, and you live. But this year, this tour has been even more so because every single person who came to see us brought just as much heart to the shows as my road family and I brought. It was something you could feel everywhere we went.”

That palpability was present on “Boston,” performed with the lights all the way up. The love song to a free spirit tending bar who chased her dream, the song represents the soul of so many in New England, and Chesney let the audience take the final chorus, nodding approvingly as No Shoes Nation sang their own song with real embrace. The unprecedented third night’s sold-out crowd also took “Boys of Fall” as their own – singing the last chorus on their own – while film of Tom Brady, the various Patriots and coaches flashed on the screens around the stage.

Uncle Kracker received his biggest response of the three nights, bouncing down the T for the six-week No. 1 “When the Sun Goes Down,” and the audience raised their voices to “Drift Away,” it was a reprise of Kracker’s solo “Follow Me” that again had the audience singing at the top of their lungs. Clearly a favorite, it was a moment of fellowship that delighted the crowd.

“It really felt like No Shoes Nation came to sing,” Chesney marveled. “These songs were their life, too, and they were going to sing them back to us. I felt like I was seeing – and hearing – everything we played in another dimension because I could hear all those lives in their voices.”

Megan Moroney, whose pranks have “owned” the weekend, tamed it down to wearing a “Best Summer Ever” on the front t-shirt, with “We <3 Kenny” on the back. Her cavorting during “All The Pretty Girls” and “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” matches Chesney's own high-energy performance. But it was her own “Am I Okay” that saw the crowd finding a whole new level.

“Watching Megan really come into her power this summer has been one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time,” Chesney allowed. “She is a triple threat writer/singer/performer – and she’s found the space she wants to work from. Mark my words: she’s here for the duration.”

Dropping a free-form take on Steve Miller’s “The Joker” into Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds,” Chesney loosened up the playlist and worked from a place of maximum positivity. “Young,” “American Kids,” “Save It For A Rainy Day,” and “Get Along” delivered a gospel of seeking joy.

Spinefarm Signs GORE. + Band Shares "Babylon" Video

SPINEFARM is pleased to announce the signing of GORE. — vocalist Haley Roughton, guitarist Alex Reyes, and bassist Devin Birchfield — to the global roster.

The band will release the A Bud That Never Blooms EP on October 24. Pre-order it here.

The EP was produced by Miserable Productions, with Ben McGuiness and Caleb Freihaut serving as co-producers. The EP was mixed by Cody Stewart.

Today, the band has also shared the video for "Babylon," its debut single for its new label home.

Watch the video below.

"'Babylon' is about my desire to have a pure, somewhat traditional love," offers Roughton, laying her emotional cards face up on the table. "The dream of having a strong and loving husband, with children and an unconditionally loving home being the center of my universe (and is what I felt I lacked in my childhood). Through the years, and all of the relationships I have failed to sustain, that dream has yet to come true. This song is the eulogy of that dream. In other words, 'Babylon' is the action of putting that dream of being a wife and a mother to rest, for now."

Regarding the accompanying visual, Roughton shares, "The music video uses religious imagery to depict the dream for a pure, unconditional love that is slowly dying. In the video, the pastor can be seen as everything that causes a relationship to fail — ego, external pressure from others, unhealed inner wounds — even the other person in the relationship. The pastor is seen slowly killing the woman with the dream by holding her underwater, while she is seen crying and begging for the life she wants. From the action of killing her emerges a creature that is completely stripped of hope and innocence. The sludgy, disturbing human-like being can be seen as a symbol of cynicism, resentment and vengeance."

Gore. will embark on a slate of tour dates supporting Within the Ruins in October. All dates are below.

GORE. ON TOUR:
WITH WITHIN THE RUINS:

10/9 — Lubbock, TX — Jake's
10/10 — Denver, CO — Roxy Theater
10/11 — Oklahoma City, OK — 89th Street
10/12 — Dallas, TX — RBC
10/13 — San Antonio, TX — Vibes Underground

ABOUT GORE.:
Haley Roughton leads the charge in Gore., a band that brings a distinctly feminine perspective to the heavy music scene. Debuted in 2023 with guitarist Alex Reyes and bassist Devin Birchfield, the Texas-based trio quickly made waves with their emotionally raw and unapologetically vulnerable sound. Their recent signing to Spinefarm solidifies their place in the industry.

Gore.'s A Bud That Never Blooms EP is a deeply personal exploration of the complexities of femininity. Tracks like "Babylon" confront the painful realities of womanhood, while "Doomsday" reflects on the desensitization to violence and suffering in today's world. Roughton's vocals range from delicate, emotive cleans to fierce, guttural growls, capturing the duality of strength and vulnerability that defines the band’s music. Gore. count members of Motionless in White, Flyleaf, and Papa Roach, among others, as fans.

Recorded at Miserable Productions Studios and co-produced by Ben McGuiness and Caleb Freihaut, the EP embodies what Roughton calls "emotional gore." It's an embrace of the raw, unfiltered aspects of life, particularly from a female perspective. With plans for more music in 2025, Gore. is poised to continue challenging norms and expressing the full spectrum of feminine experience through their powerful sound.

Miranda Lambert Previews 'Postcards from Texas' with Surprise Austin Show

When the marquee outside legendary BBQ joint and live music venue Stubb’s Austin revealed a surprise message early Friday morning – MIRANDA LAMBERT TONIGHT AT 6PM – it didn’t take long for fans to race to the downtown establishment. With the line winding around the block and reaching capacity well ahead of the time the box office opened at noon, the lucky fans who made it there first were in for an unforgettable evening with a Lone Star icon come home.

In addition to lead single “Wranglers,” liberated anthem “Dammit Randy,” humorous shuffle “Alimony” and free-spirited ballad “No Man’s Land,” fans were also treated to an early preview of several other songs off Postcards from Texas: “Bitch On The Sauce (Just Drunk),” “Looking Back On Luckenbach,” “Armadillo” and “Wildfire.”

The event marked almost exactly 20 years to the day since Lambert played her very first label showcase at Stubb’s on Aug. 28, 2004, making for a full circle homecoming as she celebrated this next chapter in music.

“I have a brand new album, and I have the same fire that I had 20 years ago at that show,” reflected the the woman celebrated by Esquire as “consistent, but never predictable” and Rolling Stone as “country’s most ambitious artist” from the stage, adding of the setting, “I love a honky tonk. It’s how I grew up. It’s in my DNA.”

Always keeping a wildcard up her sleeve, Lambert further surprised fans by inviting fellow Texans and frequent collaborators Jack Ingram and Jon Randall (her Big Loud Texas label imprint partner and Postcards coproducer) to join for a few songs from their GRAMMY-nominated West Texas acoustic album, The Marfa Tapes, including fan-favorite hit “Tequila Does.”

With less than a month until the Sept. 13 arrival of her Republic Records debut, recorded just across the river from Stubb’s at Austin’s famed Arlyn Studios, the intimate concert in the heart of the Lone Star State served as the ultimate celebration of the 14-song musical tribute to Lambert’s beloved home state.

About Miranda Lambert
Critically acclaimed groundbreaker/songwriter/superstar Miranda Lambert has defined her multi-faceted career as an artist, entertainer, entrepreneur, advocate and businesswoman with an unflinching quest for excellence, honesty and conviction. With her ninth solo studio album, Postcards from Texas, set for release Sept. 13 via Republic Records, the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, including their top honor for Entertainer of the Year, has also won three GRAMMYs and 14 Country Music Association Awards. A TIME100 honoree and perennial best-of-the-year list maker at the New York TimesTIMERolling StoneBillboardStereogumPeople and more, NPR has called her “the most riveting country star of her generation.”

A multi-dimensional superstar, she’s earned seven No. 1 solo albums, 10 No. 1 hit radio singles, more than 80 prestigious awards and countless RIAA certifications; conquered Las Vegas with her twice-extended Velvet Rodeo residency; blurred genres with Leon Bridges, the B-52s, Loretta Lynn, Enrique Iglesias, Sheryl Crow and Elle King; and delivered her LGBTQ+ inclusive anthem “Y’All Means All” for Netflix’s “Queer Eye.” She’s taken those standards to become a New York Times bestselling author and the first female restaurateur on Lower Broadway with her Tex-Mex cantina Casa Rosa, while also expanding her creative reach with her Wanda June Home collection exclusive to Walmart and her Idyllwind clothing and boot line at Boot Barn. Her passion for rescue animals inspired the creation of her MuttNation Foundation, which has raised nearly $10 million since inception to promote adoption, support shelters across the country, advance spay & neuter and assist with the transport of animals during times of natural disaster.

Five Guests, New Record, Boys of Fall, "Best Night Ever": Kenny Chesney Night 2 @ Gillette

How one tops a mini-tractor, a mini-Chesney and a whole lot of energy is hard to imagine, but Chesney took the stage for his 23rd sold out performance at Gillette Stadium determined to drill into the heart of his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour. With a set closing “Boys of Fall,” which he performed at the stadium two months prior for Tom Brady’s retirement event, it was an evening of songs people knew by heart, friendship and special guests that set a high bar for Sunday’s third night.

Telling the audience early on they’d taken some liberties with the set list the night before, the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar introduced Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey to a massive response, and the pair performed a conversationally buoyant rendition of “Save It For A Rainy Day,” which Ramsey co-wrote. Shortly thereafter, Uncle Kracker expanded their crowd-pleasing duet of “When The Sun Goes Down” and his AC smash redux of Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away” with “Follow Me” and “Midnight Rider” into a surging “Cowboy.”

“The thing about these summers together,” Chesney said post-show, “is it really is all about friendship. It’s about the people out here, our road family and everyone else’s road family, and how those connections grow. It’s a lot, and it’s precious. As things wind down, I really want to share No Shoes Nation with my friends.”

For the first time all tour, Zac Brown emerged from the wings for a three song moment. Drawing on the spark of Country Music Hall of Famer’s Alabama with a fiddle flying “Dixieland Delight” and closing with a mash-up of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Steve Miller’s “The Joker” and Bob Markley’s “Three Little Birds,” the vibe was easy – and the vast range of their shared influences were on display.

Moroney’s pranks were tamer. Clad in a white t-shirt with a Blue Chair Bay bottle, the pair did their moment of “All The Pretty Girls” and “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.” But it was during Moroney’s “Am I Okay,” her team rushed the stage in matching t-shirts with the mini tractor leading the charge.

But maybe the most special guests bounded onstage during the breakdown of “American Kids.” Waving to the wings with a come on out, Chesney introduced his mother and aunt to the 61,484 citizens of No Shoes Nation, who established yet another personal venue/single night best. After a perfect night under a clear sky, the fans were seeing the 8-time Entertainer of the Year signing until 11:25 pm.

“I told Tom, my stage manager, this is the best Gillette crowd we’ve ever had,” the man the Los Angeles Times called “The People’s Superstar” raved. “They were so there, so on fire. We could feel it before we hit the stage. Once we were out there, it was insane. I always say ‘Sports, family, friends, music;’ tonight with Zac and Megan, it was so strong, I had to bring my mom and her twin sister out to feel the crowd, too.”

As noted by Robin Roberts on Thursday’s “Good Morning America” entertainment round-up, this was not only an unprecedented weekend of three shows at Gillette, Chesney had surpassed 200 stadium shows. Having joined the tour in Philadelphia years ago, the Emmy winner cheered the love of No Shoes Nation.

“So many times this summer, I think it can’t get any better, then something like tonight happens. From the fun of playing songs with my friends, sharing the rush with my mom and with No Shoes Nation, this is exactly the reason our refrain all summer long is: ‘Who lives like we do? WE DO!’ And it’s each and every single person who makes it possible.”

Silly Goose is the audacious brainchild of Jackson Foster and Alan Benikhis, musicians who eat, sleep, and breathe the raw power of late '90s rap rock and nu metal. Growing up, the two marinated in the vibes of Limp Bizkit, Rage Against the Machine, Gojira, and an eclectic mix of genres, all coming together to forge the unmistakable sound of Silly Goose.

Silly Goose's first EP, The Goose Is Out Of The Bag, was put together while the boys were still in high school and laid the groundwork for their ambitious style, while simultaneously showcasing one of the attributes that their fans most appreciate – a commitment to delivering hard-hitting music without taking themselves too seriously. At the end of the day, Silly Goose are all about providing an outlet for all kinds of feelings, from frustration to rage, resentment and revenge to reveling in the joy of occasionally wanting to just be silly and mosh for the sheer exhilaration of it.

The new single "Tsunami" pushes boundaries in the spirit of the previously released tracks "King Of The Hill" and "Live It Up," marking a massive milestone as their first release since signing with Blue Grape Music.

What truly sets Silly Goose apart is their fusion of high-energy performances with a genuine, down-to-earth vibe. They never take themselves too seriously. Their simple mission is to make good music, have fun and make the people happy; a purpose that endears them to fans who appreciate the authenticity of their vibe. Silly Goose isn't just a band; they're a brotherhood of rockers who live to shred and put on unforgettable live shows.

The current lineup of Silly Goose features Foster on lead vocals, Benikhis on drums, Ian Binion on lead guitar and backup vocals, and Yalli Alvarez on bass guitar and backup vocals. Together, they create a sound that's both explosive and deeply engaging, powered by Jackson's dynamic vocal delivery and the band's relentless instrumentation.

ABOUT BLUE GRAPE MUSIC:
In 2022, industry veterans David Rath and Cees Wessels formed Blue Grape Music.  The name will be familiar to rock music fans, as it was the merchandise company also launched by Wessels, who founded the venerable and esteemed record label Roadrunner Records in the ‘80s. Roadrunner earned a reputation as an iconic label that turned hard rock and metal acts into household names for several decades under Wessels' tutelage. Rath spent 21 years in the A&R department at Roadrunner, working on albums by a variety of RIAA-certified and culturally important acts, including but not limited to SlipknotKornTurnstileGojiraCoheed and CambriaWhite ReaperSlashTriviumDream Theater, and more. When the label changed management and ownership, Rath guided the company and oversaw the signings of bands like Young the Giant and Vance Joy. Ultimately, the Blue Grape executive team is powered by experience and a roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-your-hands-dirty, by-any-means-necessary work ethic. Blue Grape's inaugural signing was the two-time Grammy nominee Code Orange and since then, the label has gone on to sign San Francisco punks Spiritual Cramp, hardcore heavyweights GEL, and Baltimore sludge slingers GASKET, with several new signing announcements expected to be announced this year. Blue Grape is distributed globally by The Orchard.

M.A.G.S. Releases New Album "CREATOR"

Smartpunk Records' indie rock prodigy M.A.G.S. has released his new album CREATOR via Smartpunk Records. It is an accompaniment and reimagination to last year's fan-favorite album Destroyer

Each song from Destroyer has been reconstructed and bent into new forms to create a new tracklist on CREATOR that is an exploratory showcase of M.A.G.S.'s imaginative, diverse capabilities as a multi-instrumentalist.

When discussing the album, Elliott Douglas (the man behind the moniker) says, "With CREATOR, I wanted to subvert the expectations of my listeners and bend my genre to a nearly unrecognizable extent. There was a moment a few years ago in the music industry where it was sort of this novel trend to be a black person in rock music, like it was some completely new concept that black people could play guitar and be in bands that sound like Paramore or The Strokes. I’ve been on my own wave for the majority of my career and CREATOR is the perfect example of what happens when I choose to create what feels right to me and not what is expected. With the help of 2 of my most talented friends, we reimagined my previous album ‘Destroyer’ over the course of 9 days in an apartment in Chicago in late 2023. Constructed entirely from my acoustic demos, we experimented and collaborated our way into a sound that goes far beyond what I ever thought M.A.G.S. was capable of."

CREATOR was conceived and mixed by Elliott and was produced in collaboration with Jeremy Strange and Ehmed Nauman of Chicago's This House Is Creaking.

M.A.G.S. also announced October tour dates. Those are posted below.

ABOUT M.A.G.S.
M.A.G.S. is the solo moniker for Buffalo-bred multi-disciplinary artist Elliott Douglas. His style seamlessly glides between genres ─ from funky garage rock to minty alt-pop with a punk-inspired energy. The release of his third full-length album Destroyer in 2023 via Smartpunk Records pushed Douglas into a more textural direction, dripping with flavors of post-punk while keeping his genre-bending melodies. Written by Douglas and produced by Jay Mass (Defeater), the album is about having to destroy yourself in order to grow and move forward — an extremely relatable phase in one's life.

M.A.G.S. released his first solo record in 2015, an EP titled Cellophane, and his self-titled LP arrived two years later — securing a seat amongst the most prominent indie/alt-rock artists. With his new batch of music, Douglas displayed marked growth in vocal prowess, overall musicality and lyrical bite through the release of 2020's Lost Tapes EP. Dougals' universal appeal feeds his success, and it's never at the expense of his art. Elsewhere in his blossoming catalog, songs like "MVP" and "Hi Tops" zig-zag from visceral, gnarly heavy metal to lo-fi folk-rock, respectively; his musicianship is a marvel to witness, each entry building on the last with refreshing acrobatics.

ABOUT SMARTPUNK RECORDS:
Smartpunk has been a recognizable name in the scene for a long time (Remember that sponsored Warped Tour stage?!). After exchanging several hands and countless ideas of what it could and should be, they decided to start a record label in 2016 with the main idea of focusing solely on reissuing records that have been out of print or never on vinyl. After all, they're a label of vinyl dorks themselves! After releasing Set Your Goals' Mutiny and Gameface's Good, they started to venture into signing newer bands. They actively balance in between many worlds — putting out amazing music from friends and bands that rock, reissuing older titles, and partnering with other incredible labels in our scene and doing exclusive color variants of their releases.

Since forming the record label, Smartpunk Records has released timeless albums such as Less Than Jake's Anthem, Nominee's Lowlife, RIVALS' Sad Looks Pretty on Me, Virginity's POPMORTEM, and melodic skate punkers The Swellers' My Everest.

LOLITSLEA Releases Neon Pop-Punk Single "What's That To You" Feat. glimmers and Magnolia Park

DEBUT ALBUM NOTHING LASTS FOREVER!, OUT OCTOBER 11

Yesterday, lolitslea released "What's That To You" featuring guest vocals from glimmers and Joshua Roberts from Magnolia Park. It's a sassy, showstopping mashup spotlighting three of today's fastest-rising acts in the pop-punk scene. The powerhouse collaboration on this track is no coincidence as the song taps into the angsty, heavy, and aggressive feelings synonymous with pop punk's origins.

When asked about the song, lolitslea says, "'What’s That To You?' is a salty tune about stubbornness with a twist of aggressive, riff-driven pop punk. I guess my new stuff is just not his style, *shrug* This tune features glistening pop punk band, glimmers, and Joshua Roberts from Magnolia Park."

lolitslea is the epitome of bright, nostalgia-driven music for today's youth (imagine if Artist Vs Poet or Hey Monday came out in 2024). Growing up in the small, yet touristy beach town of Point Pleasant, NJ, lolitslea was homegrown from all kinds of music from the Asbury Park alternative scene and Warped Tour era. The neon-pop punk bangers on her upcoming album "NOTHING LASTS FOREVER!" are relatable, danceable, and oh-so-fun!

LOLITSLEA 2024 TOUR DATES:
10/9 —  Philadelphia, PA —  The Rotunda
10/10 —  Asbury Park, NJ —  Bond Street Bar
10/11 —  Baltimore, MD —  Zen West
10/12 —  Raleigh, NC —  Kings
10/15 —  Orlando, FL —  Will's Pub
10/18 —  Atlanta, GA —  Smith's Olde Bar
10/19 —  Murfreesboro, TN —  1507 Diana St

ABOUT LOLITSLEA:
Growing up in the small, yet touristy beach town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, lolitslea was homegrown from every and all kinds of music that came out of the Asbury Park alternative scene and Warped Tour era. The independent artist has intertwined the boldness of punk and the colors of pop to bring back the bright sounds of the Neon Pop Punk scene we all grew to love in the mid-2000s. Think Artist Vs Poet or early Fall Out Boy.

After topping the charts with her college a cappella group (Twisted Measure), lolitslea set off to grow her project. lolitslea's sound has been produced and developed by emo icons such as Chase Coy (formally with Universal Music Group), Tom Denney (formerly A Day To Remember), and Roye Robley (Meet Me @ The Altar, Fluorescents), with features from Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens), Bemo Rouge, Joshua Roberts (Magnolia Park), glimmers, Smooth Brain, and more to come.

lolitslea is finishing up her debut full-length to be released October 2024. Following that, she'll be busy in writing sessions with Dan Swank (All Time Low, Taylor Acorn), Cassadee Pope (Hey Monday), Cameron Walker, and many more.
