Ian Munsick Celebrates Red Rocks Debut w/ Friends & Family + Surprise Crow Tribe Adoption

Wyoming native Ian Munsick returned to the Rocky Mountain region Wednesday, June 5 for his sold-out headlining debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado alongside friends and family. After stampeding through his 24 song set filled with surprise moments, Munsick’s family expanded by the end of the night when The Crow Tribe joined him on-stage, officially adopting him as part of their tribe.

“Red Rocks was the greatest night of my musical life,” muses Munsick. “The songs I create are inspired by the magic that surrounds that venue. Getting to experience that unity in real time with 10,000 people who were elevating that energy is now a core memory. This Rocky Mountain boy was in heaven for 90 minutes…so surreal and even spiritual. I can honestly say that playing Red Rocks has changed my life.”

As his signature cattle call echoed through the venue’s famed monoliths signaling show time, Munsick fittingly kickstarted the evening with an upbeat, fiddle-laden performance of “Mountain Time” off his debut album Coyote Cry.

Throughout the night, Munsick interweaved songs old and new into his set, tributing his roots with “Me Against The Mountain,” while also showcasing his growth since moving to Nashville ten years ago, with recent releases “Heartbreak King” and “Leather” – the latter of which served as the title track on Cody Johnson’s ACM nominated Album of the Year. Sprinkled into the set were surprise guest moments as fellow Wyoming native Ryan Charles joined Munsick for their viral hit “Cowboy Killer.”

Toward the end of the night, prior to performing his wistful ode to the American West, “Indian Paintbrush,” Munsick was joined on-stage by JoRee LaFrance, a member of the Crow Tribe who has a long history with the Munsick family. A former student of Ian’s father, Dave Munsick, LaFrance grew up around the Munsicks and heavily influenced Munsick’s musical journey. Due to this close tie, along with Munsick’s dedication to authentically representing the west, LaFrance surprised him on-stage by officially adopting him into the Apsáalooke/Crow Tribe.

“As Apsáalooke/Crow people, we heavily rely on our clan system, Ashaammalíaxxia/Where the Driftwood Lodges. We are a matrilineal society with currently six clans with Úuwaataasshe/Greasy Mouth being one of them,” explains LaFrance. “I am Greasy Mouth and I am a child of the Ties the Bundle clan. Greasy Mouths are known to be good hunters, their power comes from the sun, and are the same clan as Iichiikbaaliia/First Maker. I adopted Ian into my family and clan because of our longtime friendship with the Munsick family and the fact he comes from Crow Country.

“They have always shown nothing but love and respect to my twin sister and I. We have always been family. I gave Ian four gifts to welcome him into our tribe. As Apsáalooke, we take adoption very seriously; being adopted means that you are valued and truly a part of our family and community,” she adds. “Our people are his people now and nobody can question that. Crow Country loves Ian and we want him to know that we will always welcome him home.”

Concluding the evening with the band that inspired his career, Munsick was joined by The Munsick Boys comprised of his father, Dave, and brothers, Tris and Sam, for a performance of one of his first recordings, a cover of Wade Montgomery's “Weakness.”

Munsick’s Red Rocks debut precedes his upcoming Fall Country & WESTern Tour presented by Boot Barnwhich will deliver the man celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker alike for putting the “western back in country” back to his roots with nine shows throughout the west. Munsick is currently headlining his Boots, Buckles & Bolos Tour, and can be seen on select dates of Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again Tour this summer.

About Ian Munsick:
A native son of Wyoming, Ian Munsick painted a stampeding, spirited portrait of the American West with his sophomore album White Buffalo, out now. Spanning unfiltered tales of romance and ranch life, hard-working anthems with honkytonk hooks and mountain-time odes to family and forever-young fun, it builds upon the spacious roots-pop beauty he introduced on his major label debut, Coyote Cry. Now, Munsick is preparing to release a deluxe version of the album, including five new tracks, titled White Buffalo: Introduce You To God on April 5, 2024. Over the past four years, Munsick has accumulated nearly half a BILLION global streams and a host of accolades. He has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, MusicRow and most recently was named a Martin Showcase Artist. A seasoned entertainer, having grown up tending cattle by day and playing music in a family band each night, Munsick toured recently alongside country music superstars Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson, and will serve as direct support for select dates of Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again tour this year, while simultaneously headlining his own Boots, Buckles & Bolos Tour. The Warner Music Nashville recording artist and multi-instrumentalist is representing his home, and its special cast of people, like never before. The first release from White Buffalo, standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown, was named one of Amazon Music’s Best Country Songs of 2022 and recently received RIAA Gold-certification alongside “Long Haul” off his debut album Coyote Cry. Fans of Ian Munsick will always find an open heart, natural awe and plainspoken honesty as he rides on… bringing the West to the rest. Online at IanMunsick.com.

Koe Wetzel's "High Road" with Jessie Murph Out Now; New Album 9 LIVES Available 7/19

With recent release “Sweet Dreams” sending fans into a frenzy and pushing Koe Wetzel to a Billboard Hot 100 debut and the No. 1 album on Apple Music’s country chart with just three songs available, the journeyman turned bona fide cultural force continues to tease 9 Lives, his forthcoming fifth studio album set for July 19 release on Columbia Records, via today’s release of “High Road” with MTV PUSH Artist and Billboard 21 Under 21 honoree Jessie Murph. Listen Below and pre-order / pre-save the album HERE.

“‘High Road’ is a good example of how this album shows a different side of me than people might expect. Every record’s almost turning a new leaf, always a left turn because of how honest I am,” he admits with a laugh. “But this? It’s what the people have been expecting from me, but we hadn’t gotten there yet. It’s a grown-up version of me.”

Written by Wetzel alongside Amy Allen, Carrie Karpinen and producer Gabe Simon, “High Road” has already become a fan-favorite on social media ahead of its release with lyrics that showcase that mature level of vulnerability that defines the still hard-rocking album:

Imma let you cool down while I walk out
You ain’t messing me up like the times before
I don’t need a ticket to your shit show
Knock yourself out and hit a new low
Imma take the high road, take the high road, take the high road

“High Road” joins lead single “Damn Near Normal,” title track “9 Lives (Black Cat)” and recent release “Sweet Dreams” in offering an early preview of the highly anticipated new album. Wetzel offered fans a further preview of the album’s multi-faceted narrative with a special trailer introducing nine unique Koe Wetzels as MusicRow’s “genre disruptor” praised by Billboard for “music that’s unvarnished and unfiltered” showcased his comedic acting skills. Watch HERE.

With an at-capacity Whiskey Jam performance already under his belt this week, Wetzel continues to share the new music with CMA Fest fans in Nashville, taking the stage at both SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour and at Spotify House tomorrow, June 8.

The Texas-born live phenom also plans to take his new music global this year with his recently announced Damn Near Normal World Tour. Additionally, Wetzel will perform prominent sets at several festivals, including Country Jam, Rock the Country, Country Thunder Wisconsin, WE Fest, Watershed and more, plus a hometown stadium show as he joins Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour in Arlington, Texas this July.

About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down: The Texas singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. His 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no- holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hits “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), “Something to Talk About” and the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” plus the Gold-certified “Good Die Young” and “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has 2.6 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” In 2023 alone, he sold more than 275,000 tickets, and appeared for a third time on POLLSTAR’s Top Worldwide Tours. Wetzel will open for Morgan Wallen on the superstar’s One Night at a Time Stadium Tour this July and play prominent sets at festivals like Country Thunder and Watershed this summer, while also headlining his own Damn Near Normal World Tour. His new album, 9 Lives (Columbia), is set for release July 19.

About Jessie Murph
19-year-old powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Jessie Murph has been having an exciting 2024. Most recently she released her new single, “Cold,” to rave reviews and brought her sold-out global headline tour to North America after hitting major markets abroad and 40 cities across the U.S. & Canada. Earlier this year, Jessie, who was featured as MTV’s PUSH artist in January, showcased her soulful side with “Son of a Bitch.” The Billboard 21 Under 21 honoree’s latest single comes on the heels of her hit track, “Wild Ones,” with Jelly Roll, which has tallied over 200M streams worldwide since release in October, broke through top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales chart. Jessie and Jelly Roll teamed up to perform the critically and commercially acclaimed track on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” and are nominated for Best Music Collaboration at the 2024 Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards.

2023 proved to be another standout year for Jessie who released her debut mixtape drowning in February to high praise. In May, she dropped “Cowboys and Angels,” which, along with her single “Texas (ft. Maren Morris),” ushered in a new era that etches raw emotion through her strikingly sincere songs laced with soul-gripping storytelling, hip hop-infused production and alternative experimentation anchored by her modest pop appeal. Named an ‘Artist to Watch’ by Genius,Pandora and Amazon Music, Jessie also collaborated with Diplo and Polo G on “Heartbroken,” which hit the Top 40 at pop radio in the U.S. Between praise from various outlets including SPIN, Rolling StoneFlaunt MagazineNYLON and amassing over 1 billion streams globally, Jessie is just getting started.

Brantley Gilbert Announces "Over When We're Sober" ft. Ashley Cooke, Set for Release 6/21

As Brantley Gilbert readies a new album, the multi-Platinum country rocker announces his new single “Over When We’re Sober,” an enticing duet with Ashley Cooke, via The Valory Music Co. Fans can pre-save/pre-add “Over When We’re Sober” HERE ahead of its June 21 release via The Valory Music Co.

“I loved the song from the minute we wrote it,” shares Gilbert. “When it came time to find a collaborator, my producer Brock Berryhill suggested Ashley. I was so impressed with her writing and her voice. She’d just released a 24-track album – you don’t see many people doing that these days – and I thought that also speaks to her work ethic. It’s a special song, and I’m so thankful that she agreed to join me on it.”

“When Brantley called me about this song, I listened to the demo and it was an immediate 'yes,'” shares Cooke. “I’ve been a fan for truly so long - in fact, my Christmas present from a college boyfriend one year was a road trip to Atlanta just to see BG’s show. It’s such an honor to get to be on a song with someone I’ve admired for so long. Not to mention, one of the realest, funniest, most talented guys I’ve met on this journey so far. So thankful BG wanted me on this one!”

Over the last two years, Gilbert has been writing and recording for his seventh studio album. “Over When We’re Sober,” written by Gilbert with Jason DeFord (Jelly Roll), Brock Berryhill and Justin Wilson, is one of many exciting collaborations found on the forthcoming project. The Georgia native delivered the first preview with the revelry inducing anthem “Off The Rails” earlier this year. Listen HERE.

Celebrating 10 years of his 7x Platinum certified hit “Bottoms Up,” Gilbert will appear at the Big Machine Pop Up in Nashville tomorrow, Friday, June 7 at 12pm, with the 1935 Ford Sedan from the music video onsite at Bell Bottoms Up (120 Third Avenue South). Fans can enter for a chance to win the car, in addition to other prizes including an autographed guitar, autographed “Bottoms Up” framed poster, autographed boots worn on stage by Gilbert, an autographed Just As I Am CD and more. Click HERE for official rules and additional information on how to enter the sweepstakes.

With numerous sold out shows since embarking on the Off The Rails Tour, Gilbert and his crew will continue to deliver an unforgettable experience at each stop, packing as many songs as possible into the setlist and incorporating elevated production elements with pyrotechnics and CO2 cannons.

“We’ve had such an amazing time on the Off The Rails Tour,” shares Gilbert. “This is my favorite show that we’ve put together, thanks to a talented lineup both in the band and behind the scenes. It’s been incredible seeing BG Nation match that energy every single night, and it only makes us more excited to get to the next city.”

About Brantley Gilbert
With a grassroots following millions strong, multi-Platinum country rocker Brantley Gilbert’s upcoming single “Over When We’re Sober” featuring Ashley Cooke is set for release June 21. The Georgia native has mined a rich vein of conflict between the party and the pew on all his albums, with his music being adopted as the soundtrack to both Saturday night and Sunday morning by audiences around the world. Instead of toiling in limbo, unable to enjoy good times for fear of Judgment Day, Gilbert fully lives––rowdy friend, man of faith, devoted husband, smitten father––just as he is. Following his sixth studio album So Help Me God, Gilbert readies a forthcoming project, giving BG Nation the first taste with “Off The Rails,” a revelry inducing anthem that embodies the kind of high energy live show he’ll bring to the Off The Rails Tour through the fall. Along with the new tracks, he’ll perform songs across his discography, which includes back-to-back Platinum albums and seven No. 1 hits: RIAA 7x Platinum-certified “Bottoms Up,” 2x Platinum “Country Must Be Country Wide,” 2x Platinum “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” 2x Platinum “One Hell of An Amen,” Platinum-certified collaboration with Lindsay Ell “What Happens In A Small Town,” and two chart-toppers as a songwriter with CMA Song of the Year nominee “Dirt Road Anthem” and “My Kinda Party.” For additional information, visit BrantleyGilbert.com  or follow him on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter @BrantleyGilbert and Facebook.com/BrantleyGilbertMusic.

With Big Loud / Back Blocks Music Country artist Ashley Cooke, it’s best to know what you’re getting into – because this emerging star is the definition of more than meets the eye. A graceful exterior matched by a casual-cool nature. Skillfully crafted lyrics and a knack for unforgettable performance. Effortless vocal beauty and a bold sense of internal grit, freely mixing it up with the boys while she rallies the girls. And most important, a passion for capturing the magic between heartbeats, each moment as unique as she is. Still early in her journey, being herself has already served Cooke well. It has led to over 270M global streams with chart climbing hits like “Never Til Now” with Brett Young, Ryman and Grand Ole Opry debuts, national TV appearances on ABC’s The Bachelorette and NBC’s TODAY, tours with Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis, Cole Swindell, Brett Young and more.

Hailing from Parkland, Fla. and moved by emotional hit makers like Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Ed Sheeran and more, Cooke embraces the energy of pop and depth of Country, writing her first song by age 11. Cooke moved to Nashville at 18 and attended the prestigious Belmont University – but unlike so many others, she did not study music. After entering the schools revered Country Showcase on a whim and winning, Cooke decided to pursue music for a year. When the pandemic had other plans, Cooke went to TikTok where she built a thriving fanbase, writing and sharing Country music on her own terms.

And now, the next chapter begins with her debut album shot in the dark. Unfolding as if they were ripped from pages of her personal journal, Cooke’s sun-kissed blend of two-lane pop Country is on full display in the collection’s 24 tracks, inspired by true tales of love, heartbreak and all the moments in between. Fully capturing the essence of a daring twenty-something growing up, chasing her dreams and taking risks, Cooke infuses heartfelt lyrics, captivating melodies and raw relatability as she invites listeners to come along for the ride. The striking debut has already garnered Cooke praise from Billboard who named her the July 2023 Rookie of the Month, with additional praise pouring in from People, American Songwriter, The Tennessean and more. Cooke went on to win her first CMT Award for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year at the 2024 CMT Awards before being nominated for ACM New Female Artist of the Year, adding to previous recognition as one of MusicRow’s 2023 Discovery Artist of the Year and Next Big Thing as well as iHeartCountry’s On The Verge artist. Meanwhile, her award-winning single “your place” continues to take her career to new heights as she spins in the Top 5 at Country radio stations nationwide.

WARNING IN EFFECT: Kenny Chesney's Blazing Into Blossom

Having an affinity for the intimacy of amphitheaters since becoming what the Minneapolis Star-Tribune called “country’s king of stadium concerts,” Kenny Chesney made sure a handful of outdoor venues were included in the routing for his personal record-breaking Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour, including three sold-out nights at Boston’s Gillette Stadium and this weekend’s sold-out-for-weeks Philadelphia stop at Lincoln Financial Field. But no one was ready for Blossom Music Center actually leaving voicemails and sending emails to people holding tickets to the sold-out show advising massive traffic issues expected.

“I remember when people cut the chain link fence to get into our shows a couple summers,” Chesney marveled. “But we’ve never been the reason for an actual warning sent out. This year has been a whole other kind of crazy – selling standing room tickets in Tampa, pushing our stage all the way to the end zone wall in Pittsburgh – but knowing Blossom has this kind of energy around it? It tells you a lot about the passion and the heart of the Midwest.

“Hearing all the people on the lawn singing ‘Anything But Mine’ back at us whenever we play Blossom is one of the highlights of that tour. I know each and every one of them knows what it’s like to be going home to Cleveland, leaving a summer love behind… and you can hear it.”

For Chesney, who has broken his own records with his high-impact, high-velocity concerts in Tampa, Charlotte and Pittsburgh already, the more stripped-down amphitheater shows take the intensity of his connection with No Shoes Nation and channels it into the songs that have defined coming of age in the flyover for the last two decades. With the focus on music that captures the best of how people between coasts live, these amphitheater dates become sonic scrapbooks for people coming into their own, moving on or falling in love forever, for the summer or for the night.

Joined by six-time nominee and Academy of Country Music New Female Artist of the Year Megan Moroney, this year’s ten amphitheater shows speak to making the best of every moment and the soul of being alive. With massive sing-along energy, Chesney and his support artist speak to the heart of what summer is made of – and embrace being so close to the crowd.

The man the Los Angeles Times called “The People’s Superstar” begins, “When we’re in the sheds, it’s like going back to our roots. We were all starting on this journey, seeing where life and the music would take us. Now all these songs are filled with the memories we made, the faces and places we’ve traveled – and sharing them like this is like coming home.”

Deemed “King of the Road” by the Wall Street Journal for his legendary stadium tours, the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour has created a summer of unmatched ‘wow’ with several cities sold out months ahead. As importantly, the music and No Shoes Nation’s connection grows stronger and more passionate, especially in the legendary amphitheaters. With Blossom’s actual advisory to get there early, and Philadelphia sold out months in advance, there’s no slowing down – only more songs to sing and smiles to create.

Presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, it’s all about the friends, high energy and songs people know by heart.

In April the San Antonio Express-News reported that demand for George Strait's only show in Texas in 2024, 'The King at Kyle Field' on June 15, was so great that he was on track to best his own all-time indoor attendance record of 104,793 set in 2014 at his final Cowboy Rides Away finale at AT&T Stadium. Now comes news that with limited tickets already remaining for the in-demand show that standing room only tickets have been added starting at just $45 each.

FILTH IS ETERNAL 'FIND OUT' OUT NOW

Filth Is Eternal released their new album, Find Out, last fall, and it highlights the band’s deep-rooted attention to songwriting. Exploding with fresh ideas, heavy on hooks, and clandestine melody, Find Out is a clear breakout release for FIE, not to mention a future staple for heavy music fans worldwide. Using the talents of producer Paul Fig (Slipknot, AFI, Alice In Chains) while recording at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 and Dave’s Room, Find Out adds just enough spit polish in production to conjure the masses but still retains the dirt and grime necessary to remain congruous to the sound and fury within.

Falling In Reverse + Jelly Roll Share "All My Life" Video

FALLING IN REVERSE have today shared the video for their latest earworm anthem, titled "All My Life," which features a guest appearance by award-winning country music mega-star Jelly Roll.

It's a twangy banger that will undoubtedly be the feel-good hit of the summer, thanks to its seamless blend of Falling In Reverse's supremely catchy and in-your-face hard rock and Jelly Roll's down-to-earth charm and heartfelt country drawl. Bonding over their shared roots, modest upbringing and rebellious spirits, the collaboration between Ronnie Radke and Jelly Roll tells a story of resilience through the ups and downs of life. Southern-fried riffs, soaring guitar solos and singalong choruses make "All My Life" a crossover smash.

Watch it Below.

The song appears on the band's forthcoming album (and first since 2017's Coming Home) Popular Monster, which arrives on August 16 via Epitaph Records. Pre-order the album, which was produced by Radke and Tyler Smyth, here.

Falling In Reverse have long made anthems that provoke and inspire. Unnervingly ahead of the pack and yet always decisively right on time, their mix of bombastic declarations and intimate confessions connect with diverse crowds worldwide. The rule-breaking, genre-busting, hellraising band delivers raw emotion with double and triple entendre like Molotov cocktails thrown at pop culture. Since 2017, the band has continued to explode by leaps and bounds. The catalog has clocked billions of streams, several gold and platinum certifications, recognition from top tier press such as Pitchfork, Billboard, The New York Times, and Forbes, and several No. 1 radio singles.

Popular Monster —both the 2x platinum song and now the album of the same name — couldn't have come from anyone else but Radke. Both Kerrang! and Revolver Magazine counted the charismatic Las Vegas-born frontman and bandleader among "the greatest living rockstars." The album arrives with several RIAA certified singles, which have been released over time since 2018. "Popular Monster" is certified 2x Platinum. while "Zombified," "Voices In My Head," and "Watching the World Burn" are all certified Gold.

Falling In Reverse's catalog has accrued 5.8 billion streams, with 1.85 billion across all the album singles released to date. The catalog streaming remains robust at 45 million per week. Over on TikTok, the band has a stronghold, with 5 billion video views, with 4 million creations and a 1.5 billion creator reach.

The numbers don't lie — Falling In Reverse are the rock scene's biggest sensation.

ABOUT FALLING IN REVERSE + POPULAR MONSTER:
FALLING IN REVERSE return with 2024's Popular Monster, the postmodern trailblazer's first full-length in seven years. The album arrives armed with no less than three RIAA-certified gold singles ("ZOMBIFIED," "Voices in My Head," "Watch the World Burn"), the double-platinum title track, a reimagined nü-metal classic, and six brand new anthems of furious metal, melody, and hip-hop.

Popular Monster is a defiant statement and triumphant victory for singer, songwriter, bandleader, and provocateur Ronnie Radke, who invented Falling In Reverse inside a prison cell.

Radke fills the fifth full-length from Falling In Reverse with invincible and irresistible songs that resonate across generations and genres. Co-produced with longtime collaborator Tyler Smyth (I Prevail, Lights), Popular Monster is full of confessional angst, bravado, and clever wordplay.

Ronnie formed a series of pop-punk bands in Las Vegas as a teenager, culminating in the creation of Escape The Fate. The metalcore group's meteoric rise coincided with the singer’s spiral into addiction. By the time he was sentenced to two years in prison, the band he started had moved on without him. Some fans, critics, and industry types figured his story would end there.

They were very wrong.

The gold-certified debut album from Falling In Reverse, The Drug In Me Is You (2011), arrived less than two years after Ronnie's release. Thanks to his formative fascinations with metal, punk, and hip-hop, he almost single-handedly revived rap rock with the ambitious Fashionably Late (2013). Just Like You (2015), debuted in the Top 5 on the US Rock chart. The grungy and atmospheric Coming Home (2017) demonstrated yet another adventurous side of Radke's self-expression.

"Losing My Mind" and "Losing My Life" surprised the so-called "scene" all over again in 2018 when he became the first of his peers to swerve from the album format to standalone singles. "Drugs" explored the American substance abuse epidemic and channeled Ronnie's own heartbreak.

The massive "Popular Monster" became Ronnie's first No. 1 song on the radio and his first platinum single less than two years after its release. It was also the first No. 1 song on Billboard's inaugural Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, which considers airplay, streaming, and downloads. "Popular Monster" eventually went double-platinum in the US and 3x platinum in Australia. "ZOMBIFIED" and "Voices In My Head" went to No. 1 back-to-back. "Voices In My Head" was also the No. 1 Song of 2022 at SiriusXM's Octane. The unconventional, caustic, and super heavy "Watch the World Burn" dominated rock radio in 2023 and improbably became his first Billboard Hot 100 song.

As with the top-notch producers and directors Ronnie has hired to help execute his vision, he'd regularly surrounded himself with incredible live players, resulting in unforgettable performances with various lineups over the years. Radke owns the stage, whether taking the Warped Tour mantle held by My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, and Fall Out Boy in the tour's final years, performing in prominent spots on every major rock festival, or on massive headlining treks.

Popular Monster, the album, marks another chapter in the ongoing story of an artist who continually beats the odds, surmounting obstacles (and adversaries) both within and without.

"Radke stands as one of this generation's most revered rock frontmen," wrote the esteemed Forbes Magazine in a 2020 profile. "And maybe even one of the scene's last true rockstars."

Darius Rucker Raises $715K for St. Jude at Annual Ryman Concert; Brings All-Time Total to $4.3M+

Nearly two decades after first visiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® where he was immediately inspired to pledge his support, CMA Humanitarian of the Year Darius Rucker continues to give back, surpassing the $4.3 million mark with this year’s 15th annual “Darius and Friends” benefit concert on Monday night, June 3, which was paired with a corresponding celebrity golf tournament yesterday, June 4. This year’s event alone raised an all-time high of $715,000 for the cause.

Sold out well in advance despite the three-time GRAMMY winner’s famous friends not being revealed until they took the stage, the unofficial kickoff to CMA Fest praised by the Tennessean for offering “multiple servings of the country music industry's past, present, and future for an essential cause” featured dozens of hit songs and beloved covers by Rucker as well as his surprise guests Ingrid Andress, Dan + Shay, Jamey Johnson, Chase Matthew and Shane Profitt. Rucker was also joined by his Hootie & the Blowfish bandmate Mark Bryan fresh off opening weekend of the group’s Summer Camp with Trucks Tour.

After a live auction and donation round which added thousands to the fundraising tally, Rucker kicked off the main event with a trio of hits – “Have A Good Time” off new album Carolyn’s Boy, his 10th and most recent No. 1 hit “Beers and Sunshine” and chart-topping “For The First Time” – before introducing the first friend of the evening as rising star Chase Matthew took the stage to perform Gold-certified “Love You Again,” Platinum-certified “County Line” and a cover of his upcoming tourmate Jason Aldean’s chart topper, “She’s Country,” earning a the newcomer a standing ovation at the Mother Church.

GRAMMY Award-winning duo Dan + Shay also thrilled the packed house with their hits “Speechless” and “Tequila,” plus the title track to their latest album, “Bigger Houses,” while Billboard Rookie of the Month Shane Profitt wowed the Ryman audience with top 15 hit “How It Oughta Be” and “Better Off Fishin’.”

As is customary at the annual event, Rucker also returned to the stage between each guest set, treating fans to hits ranging from his Platinum-certified country breakout “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It” and Double Platinum-certified No. 1 “Alright” to current single “Never Been Over,” with the multi-genre star branching out from his own catalog for rousing versions of  Bell Biv Devoe’s “Poison,” Tim McGraw’s “I Like It, I Love It” and TLC’s “Waterfalls.” Hootie & the Blowfish bandmate Mark Bryan also joined him for fan-favorites “Only Wanna Be With You” and “Hold My Hand,” offering a taste of what to expect on the road this summer.

Ingrid Andress made a rare live appearance during a hiatus from touring to offer a well-received take on John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” plus her chart-topping hit “More Hearts Than Mine” and a solo version of her Sam Hunt duet, “Wishful Drinking,” while Jamey Johnson offered yet another standout moment with an evocative performance of his emotional hit “In Color” as well as “Give It Away,” the No. 1 hit he penned for George Strait, with Rucker then joining him for a stirring duet of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.”

Closing out the memorable evening, the host of the night owned the stage one final time as the show ended according to tradition, with Rucker joined by the sold-out Ryman crowd for a “Wagon Wheel” singalong, the feel-good energy throughout the auditorium symbolic of the night as a whole.

This year’s milestone fundraising event adds yet another successful page to the decade-plus history of “Darius and Friends.” Prior guests have included Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Jelly Roll, Charles Kelley of Lady A, Ashley McBryde, A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys, Megan Moroney, Brad Paisley, Kenny Rogers and Tommy Thayer of KISS, among many others.

The annual fundraising event, made possible with support from generous sponsors AMD, CDW and The Law Office of Jennifer McCoy, helps ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live.

This year’s “Darius and Friends” event adds to an exciting season for the multi-time Diamond-certified superstar, who recently released a reimagined duet version of his Carolyn’s Boy album standout “Never Been Over” featuring Jennifer Nettles. On May 28 he released his first book, a memoir titled “Life’s Too Short” that explores the story of his life through the lens of the music that defined it, and tickets to the Hootie & the Blowfish Summer Camp with Trucks Tour are on sale now HERE.

Since releasing his first Country album in 2008, Rucker has earned a whole new legion of fans with four No. 1 albums on the Billboard Country chart plus 10 No. 1 singles at Country radio and 11 Gold, Platinum or multi-Platinum certified hits. Rucker was inducted as a Grand Ole Opry member in 2012 and in 2014 he won his third career GRAMMY Award for Best Solo Country Performance with his Diamond-certified (11x Platinum) version of “Wagon Wheel,” one of the top five best-selling Country songs of all time. His brand-new album Carolyn’s Boy is available everywhere now along with current single “Never Been Over,” recently re-released as a duet with Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles. MORTIIS comments:

"The dungeons are calling!

"I’ll be touring the US in September, for the first time since the world fell apart, about four years ago.

"This time, we’re traveling even further into the past, and I'll be playing my first album, 1993's 'Født Til Å Herske.' With the exception of two exclusive shows in Portland last year, this is the first time I’m performing this album live in the U.S.

"I’ve re-created and enhanced the music and sounds on this album, so expect some wall-shaking sonics on this tour.

"Touring partners will be Sombre Arcane on the first half of the tour, and Malfet on the second. I've worked with both in the past, and I know they’ll deliver a great show, and we’re also working on other guests for the tour, so stay tuned for more news." METAL ALLEGIANCE ANNOUNCE FIRST EAST COAST SHOW BY 'CORE 4' IN 6 YEARS

METAL ALLEGIANCE began as a celebration of heavy metal, powered by the almost tribal bond shared between the extreme music community’s most revered trailblazers, armed with a list of contributors onstage (and off) that read like a Wikipedia entry on the genre itself – whose "core 4" is comprised of David Ellefson, Mark Menghi, Alex Skolnick, and Mike Portnoy.

On September 6th, 2024, the band will rock the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey, on a bill that will also feature Meanstreak and Held Hostage. As with their previous shows, expect a setlist that balances original material with classic covers of metal royalty.

Public On Sale: Friday, June 7th: https://www.axs.com/events/579121/metal-allegiance-tickets

AMEX Presale: Wednesday, June 5th 10am – Thursday, June 6th 10pm

Venue presale: Thursday, June 6th 10am – 10pm PW: METALNJ

Spotify Spotlight Presale: Thursday, June 6th 10am – 10pm

The Starland show will come nine months after the group's last performance in January, at the House of Blues Anaheim, as part of NAMM, and this will be the first Metal Allegiance show to feature the group's core 4 in six years on the East Coast.

“Metal Allegiance’s performance at the Anaheim House of Blues stood as a resounding triumph, exceeding the lofty expectations of fans and critics alike. The band’s mastery of their craft, coupled with an unwavering commitment to delivering an unforgettable live experience, solidified their status as torchbearers of modern metal… Metal Allegiance is alive and well and their 10th anniversary show solidified their righteous spot on the altar of all things metal.” Says thevinyldistrict.com

As with previous shows, expect several guests, this time including Troy Sanders (Mastodon), John Bush (Armored Saint) and Dave Davidson (Revocation), among others.

“It's time once again, for our metal summit with Metal Allegiance! This time we celebrate in heavy metals founding father state of New Jersey… the launch pad to so many legendary careers of our genre. The set list is sure to be blistering as we wrap up the summer together...see you there!” - David Ellefson

“After 10 years of performing as Metal Allegiance, it’s now finally time for us to take a trip across the GW and pay our friends in Jersey a visit…see ya soon Slayerville.” -Mark Menghi

“Metal Allegiance is beyond pleased to announce our long overdue return to the East Coast. In addition to making up for lost time, this gig will mark the first time, after a number of noteworthy shows in the New York area, that we finally make the pilgrimage across the river. New Jersey may be a State that those of us from NY kid around with, but its place in metal history, both on the musician and industry side, is no joke. So join us September 6, 2024, as Metal Allegiance and Jersey finally meet!”  - Alex Skolnick

“Looking forward to throwing down with my Metal Allegiance brothers again… it’s always such a blast! While New York and Southern California are the two usual locations for our bashes, it will be fun to venture into NJ for the 1st time. On a personal note, I’m also excited that the gals in Meanstreak will be joining us for this special one-off show.” - Mike Portnoy

“Happy as hell to see Metal Allegiance playing in New Jersey! There is always a great crowd at the Starland Ballroom and I’m thrilled to go back. Good times are ahead my friends.” - Troy Sanders

“Jersey! I’m pumped to be a part of Metal Allegiance alongside some truly legendary musicians. This show is gonna be epic, see you in the pit on September 6th!” - Dave Davidson

“Looking forward to playing the all-mighty New Jersey for another east coast Metal Allegiance extravaganza! Love playing and hanging with the guys. Always a fun time and you never know who will attend to join the fracas.” - John Bush

Also available will be a Meet & Greet VIP package, which will include:

60,126 Rocked in Pittsburgh: Kenny Chesney's Steel Town Passionfest

Maybe it was the No Shoes Nation flotilla – eight and ten boats deep on the North Shore – that had dropped anchor over two weeks ago. Perhaps it was the convergence of the 50th Three Rivers Arts Festival, the Pride Parade and Comicon. Or just the anticipation of Kenny Chesney’s Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour, which has broken personal records since kicking off to unprecedented numbers in Tampa. For whatever reason, love was in the air, spirits were high and the weather beautiful when Chesney hit the stage with a blistering “Living in Fast Forward.”

The only show at the storied Acrisure Stadium according to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the high energy performer’s 12thappearance at the iconic football stadium was one for the books. With the stage pushed all the way back to the end zone wall and more chairs on the floor than ever, No Shoes Nation was on their feet and singing the songs they love and live so loud Chesney let them take whole choruses of “American Kids,” “Anything But Mine,” and “There Goes My Life.”

“They call it Steel Town for a reason,” Chesney said after. “They came to see with a purpose! Those hearts are so strong and true: you could hear it when they sang, and looking out, you could see it in the way they waved their arms side-to-side. They were on their feet and had their hands in the air the entire show. I knew I was going to do ‘There Goes My Life’ when I woke up, but seeing the entire stadium lit up with their lights? It’s one of the most beautiful memories of my life.”

Wall Street Journal crowned Chesney “King of the Road” for his legendary stadium tours, and it’s been a summer of unmatched excitement as several cities have sold out months ahead – and new tickets had to be found to meet the demand. As importantly, the 8-time Entertainer of the Year is finding new heights in both his newer songs and the classics being rotated in.

“When you hear how much No Shoes Nation brings to these songs when they’re singing them with us, it almost makes me stop in my tracks,” Chesney begins. “They’ve been rocking since noon; you’d expect them to be worn out, but I can hear the caring, the investment in everything we’re playing. These aren’t just hits, it feels like they’re sharing their lives with us, too.”

For a very big day where the Allegheny, the Monongahela and the Ohio Rivers meet, the sun shone, then stars came out. Uncle Kracker emerged for their six-week No. 1 “When The Sun Goes Down” and “Drift Away” much to the crowd’s delight. Megan Moroney, leading Academy of Country Music Awards’ female nominee, romped out in cut-offs for a spirited “All The Pretty Girls” that elicited all the sorority friskiness in the teen and 20-somethings in the house.

“Build it with friendship and love, and something really special happens,” marvels Chesney. “The band is white hot and so tight, you can feel how much fun they’re having with every solo and jam – and the audience picks up on that! It was an undeniably incredible night, and as much as people thought we were crazy doing this in Pittsburgh in 2005, I can say absolutely, No Shoes Nation always shows up and delivers. They lifted us again to new heights.”

Presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, it’s all about the friends, high energy and songs people know by heart. In Pittsburgh, that means 622,882 faces fill with good vibes, joy and music.
