ABOUT ICE NINE KILLS

Decadent, devious and fiercely insane, Ice Nine Kills celebrate pop culture’s darkest edges, mining a cinephile library’s worth of iconic horror on 2018’s The Silver Scream which spawned Top 10 Mainstream Rock single “A Grave Mistake ” and Top 20 hit “Savages. The creative marriage made in hell of music and fiction began in earnest with the Top 5 Hard Rock album, Every Trick in the Book, which brought the previous three records’ themes to new levels and which the band perfected on 2021's chart- topping smash hit ’The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood.

The phenomenally successful album, released in October 2021, scored Ice Nine Kills their first Top 20 position (#18) on the Billboard Top 200, topped the Digital and Current Hard Music charts, hit Top 5 on the Current Rock, Independent, Current Albums and Album Sales charts and has clocked up 177 million cross-platform streams to date and 15 million YouTube views for singles “Hip To Be Scared”, “Assault & Batteries ”, “Rainy Day”, "Funeral Derangements", "Take Your Pick ", "The Shower Scene" and most recently, "Welcome To Horrorwood".

Since the release of 'The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood ', Ice Nine Kills have seen phenomenal growth. Throughout 2022 they toured the US extensively on 3 legs of The Trinity of Terror. During 2022 and throughout 2023 they supported Metallica in packed, sold-out stadiums around the world on their M72 World Tour. They toured the US with Slipknot and launched their enormously successful horror convention, The Silver Scream Con, which just celebrated it's second, sold-out edition in the fall of 2023. Spencer was featured in the music video for the official song from Scream 6 - Demi Lovato's "Still Alive", an Ice Nine Kills flyer was used in the movie and featured a Spencer-recommended easter egg. Beginning in the spring of 2023, as well as wowing packed-out stadiums around the world with Metallica, Ice Nine Kills headlined numerous sold-out shows on their Wurst Vacation European tour and thrilled tens of thousands of fans at Download Festival to huge acclaim from both critics and fans alike. They then toured the US with Falling In Reverse on their Popular Monstour run and hit the road for 'Fear The Premiere' US headline shows in August. Ice Nine Kills closed out 2023 on a high with the release of ' Welcome To Horrorwood Under Fire ', an exclusive VIP event in Hollywood for the debut of new single "Meat & Greet" and the premiere of the full "Welcome To Horrorwood Saga" movies (featuring all music videos from the album as one chronological clip) and the phenomenally successful, inaugural run of the Kiss of Death co- headline tour with In This Moment.

The band’s synergy of music and lifestyle draws favorable comparisons to Slipknot and Rob Zombie. Visionary trailblazers and multimedia raconteurs, Ice Nine Kills have built a thrilling world for a growing legion of devoted true believers, with theatrical shows, high-concept videos, and inventive band-to-fan communion. Their wildly creative output has seen them become recipients of the prestigious Clio Award for Music Marketing for their "Merry Axe-mas" mobile game and their live streaming event from October 2020, The Silver Stream be nominated for 5 awards at 2022's Horror Hound Film Festival Awards in the categories of Judges Choice, Best Sound, Best Supporting Performance, Best Cinematography and Best Feature. With almost 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, 717 million career streams to date and over 204 million views on YouTube the band are firmly cemented as one of modern metal's most vicious forces.

About In This Moment

GRAMMY® Award-nominated act In This Moment recently announced an epic headlining tour across North America this spring featuring special guests Kim Dracula, I See Stars, and Mike’s Dead. “The GODMODE Tour,'' which celebrates the release of their 2023 album of the same name, will see the band perform at arenas and amphitheaters across the country. The upcoming trek is set to kick off April 28th at City National Grove in Anaheim, CA and continue through a May 25th performance at The Wind Creek Events Center in Bethlehem, PA.

Since coming to life in 2005, In This Moment have presided over a diehard fan base under the watch of “mother” figure and frontwoman Maria Brink—joined by co-founder and lead guitarist Chris Howorth, bassist Travis Johnson, guitarist Randy Weitzel, and drummer Kent Diimmel. As millions convened upon the group’s otherworldly and unforgettable concerts, they quietly emerged as one of the most influential and impactful bands of the 21st century.

To date, in addition to the Gold-selling album, Blood [2012], the quintet have garnered six Gold and Platinum singles, followed by a trifecta of Top 25 entries on the Billboard 200 with Black Widow [2014] and Ritual [2017]. With a total stream tally well past 200 million as of 2020, Ritual elevated them to new creative and critical peaks as well.

Between selling out headline tours coast-to-coast, the group performed in arenas everywhere alongside Disturbed and appeared at countless festivals from Rockville to Sonic Temple.

Along the way, they assembled their seventh full-length, the aptly titled Mother [Roadrunner Records] with longtime trusted collaborator Kevin Churko [Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch]. Whereas Ritual hinted at a bluesy sonic sorcery, Motherbreathes the activating mantra of an unbreakable spell, commenced on first single “The In-Between.”

In 2022, the band released Blood 1983 [BMG], a reimagined EP commemorating the ten-year anniversary of Blood. Then in 2023, the longtime staples of heavy music released their eighth studio album GODMODE [BMG], a 10-song record featuring the powerful lead single THE PURGE,” the band’s stunning cover of Björk’s ARMY OF ME,” the collaborative track “DAMAGEDwhich features Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, and I WOULD DIE FOR YOU,” which appears on the soundtrack for John Wick: Chapter 4.

Necrofier Announce Custom Effect Pedal

One of the ways Necrofier are making a mark on American black metal is their guitar tone. After all, the band do hail from Houston, Texas, where the unforgiving heat causes their tremolo picking to burn with more fire than other keepers of the black flame.

Now, axe men can conjure the wickedly distorted riffs and eerie, melodic dissonance that Necrofier harnessed on their most recent album, Burning Shadows in the Southern Night. Idiot Box Effects has blessed the band with their very own custom guitar pedal.

"The new Echo Drive is a collaboration between me and the KILLER black metal band Necrofier", says Atarimatt, who's been making effects and noiseboxes full time under the name IdiotBox since 2011. "Plug this sucker in and bring on TOTAL SOUTHERN DARKNESS!!!"

The Necrofier Echo drive is a tube screamer-style overdrive pedal. It runs into two separate echo circuits. The left switch is for echoes, while the right switch does overdrive. Each knob is named after a different raw ingredient in the band's evil alchemy: Reflection (echo 1), Chaos (echo 2), Alchemy (echo signal mix), Flame (overdrive volume), Strike (overdrive intensity) and Darkness (tone).

"We are blessed to announce this unholy alliance with Idiot Box effects", says Necrofier frontman Christian "Bakka" Larson. "The grit of the overdrive and the space of the echo helps create a dark and menacing effect".

A limited run of first-edition, autographed Necrofier Echo Drive pedals are available on Bandcamp while supplies last. The pedal can also be purchased through the IdiotBox Effects webstore.

Necrofier burned hot and fast on an especially Satanic 20th edition of the Decibel Magazine Tour. This summer, the band are pouring more fuel on their fire when they join the legendary Obituary for two swampy shows in Dallas and Baton Rouge.

"It's an honor to play a couple shows with these legends", Bakka says. "Surely, everyone will be chopped in half!"

May 31 - Dallas, TX @ Trees [TICKETS]
June 1 - Baton Rouge, LA @ Chelsea's Live [TICKETS]

Necrofier are also bringing total southern darkness to this summer's festival circuit. Before they turn crowds inside out with Obituary, they'll raise hell at Milwaukee Metal Fest with fellow SOM American black metal co-conspirators Profanatica. Come September, as temperatures start to drop, they'll cast their all-seeing shadow over Full Terror Assault.

Deep within the scorching cauldron of Texas, the alchemists of Necrofier have brewed another potent dose of American black metal with their sophomore full-length, ‘Burning Shadows in the Southern Night.’ The Houston four-piece honors the time-tested virtues of traditional black and heavy metal, even taking an organic sonic approach, tapping seven-time Grammy-nominated producer and engineer Joel Hamilton (Unsane, Tom Waits, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, etc.) to lend his magic touch for a natural sound.

“The goal going into the new record was to start setting ourselves apart from our contemporaries,” explains Necrofier drummer Dobber Beverly. “One of those ways was changing what the record sounded like. Moving away from the clinical and sterile nature that most productions suffer from and back into a real room with real instruments and performances. Our friend and esteemed producer/engineer Joel Hamilton had expressed interest in venturing back into the metal world and offered to make the record with us at his facility, Studio G Brooklyn. The results will speak for themselves hopefully, as this record breathes and spits fire wherever it’s played.”

“Dobber and Joel have become good friends since they recorded the last Oceans of Slumber album with him, adds Necrofier guitarist and vocalist Bakka. "After that, Joel wanted to record something heavy, so we made the trip to New York City to record in his legendary studio. It was an amazing experience in a great studio; besides having all the gear, he also created an environment where we challenged ourselves and brought everything up to the next level.”

‘Burning Shadows in the Southern Night’ doesn’t just simply pick off where Necrofier’s debut album left off, but displays a conscientious effort to double down on the elements that made ‘Prophecies of Eternal Darkness’ successful. The solos are more plentiful and intricate, the hooks are more anthemic, and the overall musicianship is bolder and more daring. Speaking of the band’s evolution, Bakka explains, “I think this collection of songs represents us very well. We have grown together as a band and it shows in the new songs. Also, for this record we flew to NYC and recorded all day long for 10 days straight. I love recording this way because it captures a certain magic. The whole band is immersed in the process and it's all we would think, do, live and breathe during the process.”

Another core facet of Necrofier’s allure is being a black metal band from Texas. “Where you live always helps shape someone,” says Bakka. “It helps shape our style and tone in ways, it’s hot most of the year, so as we burn, it gives us warmer tones and more of a heavy metal influence than when compared to our brothers from the North."

To that avail, Necrofier isn’t your typical black metal band, and so this isn’t your typical black metal record as there’s a healthy amount of traditional metal influences, particularly within the guitar work. While conceptually, the band doesn’t heavily rely on Satanic themes, exploring deeper human philosophies and the occult like burning for your dreams or spiraling out on a psychedelic trip and exploring the beyond. “While there isn’t overt satanic worship in the lyrics, I would still say that he is a friend of ours,” Bakka cheekily says. “There are Occult themes on this record, but at the same time, it does take a philosophical approach.”

Further illustrating the influence of their environment, Necrofier also heavily explores one of Southern America’s most fabled myths. “The new record touches on selling your soul at the crossroads,” adds Bakka. “I like to take a different approach and touch on the elements of the esoteric world and dive into the forbidden or hidden that surrounds us in our lives every day.”

As the Texan black metal outlaws saddle up for record two, they are leading the charge as one of the contemporary purveyors of black metal revivalism. ‘Burning Shadows in the Southern Night’ is certain to elicit a sense of nostalgia for those who dare to lay ears on this vicious new offering.

Their latest self-produced album, Tornillo, available everywhere now via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records, features the No. 17 most-played Americana song of 2022, “John Wayne,” and follows their fifth studio album, Whiskey Myers, which debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts, at No. 2 on the Rock chart and No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart (No. 3 among new releases). In total, Whiskey Myers have sold more than 2 million albums and amassed over 2.8 billion streams while earning six RIAA Gold & Platinum certifications as an independent band. Known for their high-energy live show and unique sound, the band praised by Esquire as “the real damn deal” has also earned sync success with features (and an on-screen appearance) in Paramount’s hit show “Yellowstone” as well as Netflix series “What/If,” Angelina Jolie film “Those Who Wish Me Dead” and CBS series “SEAL Team,” among several others. USA Today describes their sound as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin,” with Rolling Stone noting “it’s the seminal combination of twang and crunchy rock & roll guitars that hits a perfect sweet spot.”

OCEANS OF SLUMBER Release New Single

Oceans of Slumber defy any and all convention. For the past 15 years, the Houston band have come to redefine what it means to be Southern Gothic by mixing melodic death, doom and black metal with subtle electronic flourishes and the overpowering heat of their hometown. Now, after signing with Season of Mist, they're extending their progressive streak even further by envisioning a dark and cinematic new subgenre that's theirs and theirs alone.

Ahead of their upcoming tour with Lacuna Coil and New Years Day, today, Oceans of Slumber are releasing the first single off their upcoming fifth album.

Watch the captivating video for "Where Gods Fear to Speak" below.

Stream: https://orcd.co/oceansofslumberwheregodsfeartospeak

It's damn near impossible to constrict Oceans of Slumber to one genre. "Where Gods Fear to Speak" opens with more of the sultry doom metal  headbanging that long-time fans have come to expect, but the band's new single breaks entirely new ground. Punishing blast beats and a blackened torrent of melodic tremolo picking collide with Cammie Beverly's powerhouse cleans, a skyrocketing guitar solo and synths that swirl like the aura of a mystical planet. So what do we call this otherworldly occurrence?

"Dark cinematic metal", says drummer Dobber Beverly. In addition to drumming for grindcore legends Insect Warfare and American black metal trailblazers Necrofier, Dobber is a classically trained pianist who composed Oceans of Slumber's new album. "We've taken the raw and heavier direction of our last two albums and elevated it to the scale of a blockbuster IMAX movie".

The album's concept blurs the ideological lines between Dune, Blade Runner and The Dark Tower, though its first single loops back to real life events. All five members of Oceans of Slumber are from Texas, where organized religion can be as suffocating as the dust or heat. Growing up, Cammie was caught in an especially hard bind. Her childhood home was divided over her father's dedication to the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research and her mother becoming a Jehova's Witness. "Regardless of which one you believe, organized religion makes us suffer in order to please this heavenly deity", Cammie says. "But the payoff is only an illusion".

That tension - between the promise of divine pleasure and the pains of the flesh - raises "Where Gods Fear to Speak" to truly Biblical proportions. The chant that creeps in past the four minute mark could pass for the curse of an evil sorcerer. Your grace is sufficient / Made perfect in my weakness. But those lyrics are a direct quote from the Book of 2 Corinthians.

The video for "Where Gods Fear to Speak" ties in nicely with these themes. Taken captive by some unholy masked trinity, Cammie is strung up by ropes fashioned in the style of Shibari, an ancient Japanese torture method that's evolved into a form of BDSM. Of course, nothing is strong enough to hold down Cammie's voice. Her belt covers such a wide range, steeped in the blues as much the gospel, that it really could move mountains. Only now, she's flexing a guttural new muscle.

"I've always wanted to do death growls", Cammie says. "'Where Gods Fear to Speak' presented the perfect opportunity. Mixing harsh vocals in with my cleans speaks to that tug of war between pleasure and pain, though there's a freedom that comes with pushing my voice past its perceived breaking point".

On "Where Gods Fear to Speak", Oceans of Slumber ascend to unimagined heights.

Now that their new album is well on its way, Oceans of Slumber are hitting the road next month. The band are bringing their smoldering live show from Wilmington, Delaware to Columbus, Ohio alongside Lacuna Coil and New Years Day.

"Touring with Lacuna Coil is like a dream for us in Oceans of Slumber", says Cammie. "Sharing the stage with such legendary women in metal is an incredible honor, and we're excited for the amazing experiences and memorable shows ahead. We can't wait to see you all there!"

Sweden's THEN COMES SILENCE present seventh album 'Trickery' as they launch North American tour with Vision Video

"Then Comes Silence are everything a band should be - good tunes, good playing and singing, and good looking. Their songs are ear-worms, once heard difficult to forget, as catchy as gonorrhea but far better for your health" ~ Wayne Hussey

”I can see them being huge” ~ Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth)

"Capturing the alluring intersection of 1980s Post-Punk, New Wave and College Rock in one fell swoop, this music feels organic and fresh, with ample drive, clever songwriting and a killer melody, along with crisp production" ~ The Spill Magazine

"Truly love it" ~ She Past Away

"Hellacopters of Gothic Rock" ~ Jyrki 69 (The 69 Eyes)

"The only band that have been voted in as album of the month three times!" ( 'Blood' in 2017 / 'Machine' in 2020 / 'Hunger' in 2022) ~ Sonic Seducer Magazine

Swedish post-punk outfit Then Comes Silence bring their potent sound on the road as they launch their North American tour on April 20, joined by Vision VideoAurelio Voltaire and Tears For The Dying.

Serving up infectious post-punk to listeners in 21 cities across the US and Canada, their repertoire brings offerings from their seventh album ‘Trickery’, released on April 5 via Metropolis Records following the singles 'Like a Hammer' and ‘Ride or Die’.

Formed in Stockholm in 2012, Then Comes Silence is made up of frontman Alex Svenson, drummer Jonas Fransson and guitarist Hugo Zombie (Los Carniceros del Norte) with Svenson originally inspired by frequent touring with A Place To Bury Strangers and an attraction to horror and the occult.

Recorded by Jörgen Wall (Jay-Jay Johanson, The Hellacopters) over three days at Stockholm's Kapsylen Studio and mixed by Tom van Heesch (Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Backyard Babies), this album was mastered by Svante Forsbäck / Chartmakers (Rammstein, Amaranthe, Ville Valo, The Rasmus, Apocalyptica).

This album celebrates friendship, unity and the feeling of belonging to a group, a tribe. Being a part of what most people would call the goth and post-punk  community is, according to the band, a great privilege.

Of course, there are dark sides to everything, but after being on the road and meeting people from the music scene for so many years, the band have experienced a caring and welcoming community. Old and young. Some with a similar background and some just for the love of the music and the culture that comes with the lifestyle.

"No one is free from apprehension and fear. Everyone feels some kind of alienation in certain degrees. You might often think you need to camouflage yourself to be part of a context. Make a change to fit in the group. The need for friendship is strong so you adapt. Maybe not always the way you hoped. But then...  there are moments when we unite and harmonize with other people and feel an incredible community together. That feeling is priceless and a blessing. Friendship is love. It is important and worth fighting for," says Alex Svenson.

Following up their 2022 album 'Hunger', released via Nexilis Records / Schubert Music (Europe) and Metropolis Records (North America), these sessions capture the heart and essence of alternative rock. With electronic elements essential to the new recordings, 'Trickery' is also a salute to punk music, to which Then Comes Silence traces their roots.

After debuting with their eponymous album in 2012, Then Comes Silence put out two more albums before releasing 'Blood' via Nuclear Blast in 2016. Their subsequent 'Machine' album was jointly released via Oblivion/SPV and Metropolis Records in 2020.

Then Comes Silence has toured and played live with The Fields of the Nephilim, The Chameleons, A Place To Bury Strangers, The Bellwether Syndicate and Vision Video, as well as performing at Wave Gotik Treffen, M'era Luna, Amphi Festival, Castle Party and W-Festival.

As of April 5, the 'Trickery' album will be available on vinyl and CD. It will also be released digitally everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp. As for their upcoming North American live dates, tour tickets can be ordered now.

Ian Munsick Returns to the Rockies with ‘The Country & WESTern Tour’ This Fall

Wyoming native Ian Munsick has built a staunch fan base across the United States, touring coast to coast and proudly bringing the West to the rest with his sawing fiddle and sky high voice. Now, the Warner Music Nashville recording artist is returning to his roots due to fan demand, announcing his nine-show The Country & WESTern Tour this fall.

Running from Sept. 6 - Oct. 5, 2024, The Country & WESTern Tour will feature a rotating lineup of guests including Shane Smith & the Saints, Randy Rogers Band, Bryan Martin, Ole 60, Zandi Holup, Ryan Charles and The Song Swap (comprised of Jenna LaMaster, Faren Rachels and Kasey Tyndall). Honing in on the Rocky Mountain region that fostered Munsick’s budding career, the tour will make stops in Bozeman, Montana.; Grand Junction, Colorado; Casper, Wyoming and more.

“We’re coming home!!! I am fully aware that the majority of our shows are East of the Rockies, that’s why we are dedicating The Country & WESTern Tour to the folks that have been here from day one!,” Munsick proclaims proudly. “This tour is absolutely stacked with talent and we’re bringing it back to where it all started… THE WEST. These will be our biggest and best shows yet and I cannot wait to show you what we’ve built over the last few years. Get your tickets before it’s too late!”

Ticket pre-sales begin tomorrow, April 10 at 10 A.M. local time, with public on-sale beginning this Friday, April 12 at 10 A.M. local time.

The tour is sponsored by Boot Barn, the largest western and workwear retailer in the nation. Boot Barn named Ian Munsick a brand ambassador under Boot Barn Live, their newly launched program celebrating country artists with meaningful ties to the West. Munsick joins additional acclaimed country artists who are leading Boot Barn’s deepening engagement within the world of country music.

Munsick’s Boots, Buckles & Bolos Tour is currently underway with upcoming shows in Georgetown, Texas; Wichita, Kansas and more. His headlining run continues through early summer, including a sold-out date at the majestic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 5. This summer Munsick will also join CMA Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson as direct support on her Country’s Cool Again Tour.

Munsick recently released the deluxe version of his sophomore album titled White Buffalo: Introduce You To God. Timed to the one-year anniversary of White Buffalo, Introduce You To God is produced by Munsick and Jeremy Spillman and features five new songs, including the title track, which invites his son and listeners to join him as he introduces them to God through His greatest creation: nature. It’s this interconnection between his longing for the land and its inspiration on his lyrics that left The New Yorker proclaiming in a recent feature, “Ian Munsick puts the western back in country.”

About Ian Munsick:
A native son of Wyoming, Ian Munsick painted a stampeding, spirited portrait of the American West with his sophomore album White Buffalo, out now. Spanning unfiltered tales of romance and ranch life, hard-working anthems with honkytonk hooks and mountain-time odes to family and forever-young fun, it builds upon the spacious roots-pop beauty he introduced on his major label debut, Coyote Cry. Now, Munsick is preparing to release a deluxe version of the album, including five new tracks, titled White Buffalo: Introduce You To God on April 5, 2024. Over the past four years, Munsick has accumulated nearly half a BILLION global streams and a host of accolades. He has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, MusicRow and most recently was named a Martin Showcase Artist. A seasoned entertainer, having grown up tending cattle by day and playing music in a family band each night, Munsick toured recently alongside country music superstars Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson, and will serve as direct support for select dates of Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again tour this year, while simultaneously headlining his own Boots, Buckles & Bolos Tour. The Warner Music Nashville recording artist and multi-instrumentalist is representing his home, and its special cast of people, like never before. The first release from White Buffalo, standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown, was named one of Amazon Music’s Best Country Songs of 2022 and recently received RIAA Gold-certification alongside “Long Haul” off his debut album Coyote Cry. Fans of Ian Munsick will always find an open heart, natural awe and plainspoken honesty as he rides on… bringing the West to the rest. Online at IanMunsick.com.

After Tampa, Kenny Chesney's Team Finds More Tickets for SRO Philly + Boston Shows

Kenny Chesney spent the last three months gearing up for what will be another of his monumental stadium tours. With all concert teams aligned and ready to go – they wrapped their final Nashville rehearsal this weekend – the news that the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour opener at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, as well as Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field and all three dates at Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium were sold out landed hard.

After taking what should be great news in, the man the Los Angeles Times deemed “The People’s Superstar” called his tour promoters back – and asked if they could possibly look at the grids, figure out what could be moved and see if it was possible to open up even a few more seats. By midday Friday, April 6, and throughout the day, those seats were made available to the fans.

“Sometimes you can get more creative than you realize,” Chesney says of the unorthodox move. “For me and the band, this is going to be an incredible night. I want to know that anyone who wants to be at Raymond James Stadium with us can be, that we’ve found every possible ticket.”

Having had success going section-by-section, looking for what might have been overlooked, a couple hundred tickets were found, then a couple hundred more. And then, Chesney offers, “I figured if we could make that work in Tampa, why not Boston and Philly? We’ve had some of our greatest shows in those towns, and a lot of what makes the night really magic is the energy No Shoes Nation throws at us. It is as much those voices and that heart coming at all of us onstage as it is the songs, the guitar parts or what we’re doing. It’s how we as No Shoes Nation come together, and what we – as an entire stadium of people – make that moment mean.”

When the only country artist in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years for the past 15 years called his promoters to ask, the response was laughter, then an “already working on it.” Because the process means close observation, once again the tickets being opened up will begin appearing online at 10 a.m. CT/11 a.m. ET; with additional tickets coming online throughout the day.

“It’s important to me that when No Shoes Nation comes together, we can all be together. If there’s that much desire the tickets are gone this early, then let’s find some tickets,” Chesney says with a laugh. “We’ve done this long enough that I know: with the people who come to my shows, truly the more, the merrier. I love the energy in the parking lots before we ever get close to the stage, and it’s the most incredible feeling, hearing them shout ‘A little messed up, but we’re all alright’ over all our guitars during ‘American Kids.’ To me, that kind of fun, sun, songs and friendship day is what summer is all about.”

Once again, presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, Sun Goes Down 2024 brings all the high velocity energy and songs people know by heart back to America’s favorite football stadiums.

Garzi Unveils Brand New Single & Music Video "Much Better"

Fresh from the vibrant crossroads of alternative rock and post-emo, Garzi has dropped his brand new single, "Much Better" and it's accompanying music video, out now via Sumerian Records. Navigating the complex tapestry of mental health through this new track, Garzi offers his signature blend of potent vulnerability and defiance on "Much Better". Fans can stream the new track HERE and can watch the official music video HERE below.

Speaking on his new track, Garzi shares

"A song that touches on depression being recognized as the dopamine of validation while also having head-trip battles with the inner voice trying to convince oneself that they are 'feeling much better'. In those moments of feeling better, we try to hang onto it and keep it together. It’s a powerful message disguised as a big song."

Garzi's unique sound palette is a reflection of his diverse influences, drawing from the angst of punk and emo to the aggression of nu-metal and grunge, all while threading through the lyrical flow of rap. His journey from a Warped Tour devotee to a full-fledged artist is marked by his breakout hit 'Demonstrate', and collaborations with industry icons like John Feldmann, Travis Barker and Mephis May Fire's Matty Mullins.

With the release of 'Much Better', Garzi invites listeners to a raw confrontation with the self, wrapped in a soundscape that is both gritty and melodic. Stream the new track, watch the official music video now and catch Garzi live on tour with Groupthink starting this week, tickets and further info available HERE.

About Garzi:

Garzi is an Alternative Rock artist who stands at the intersection's of Alt/Indie, Post Emo, Nü Metal, Grunge and Rap. His authentic gritty, angsty, yet soothing melodic voice soars over his array of stylistic tracks.

The Miami native was a self-described lover of Warped Tour and gravitated towards hard rock, punk and emo sounds like Melphis May Fire and Sleeping With Sirens. "It was a fitting soundtrack to feelings of isolation, of being an outsider during those teenage years especially as a POC punk"

In October 2017, he uploaded his first song and quit his day job the next day to pursue music full time. A slew of releases followed, culminating in his breakout, "Demonstrate" (with producers Nick Mira and Taz Taylor), which had popped off on SoundCloud and now has over 16.5 million streams on Spotify.

IN 2022 he released EP, ‘Careful What You Wish For’ which spawned tracks “Mess” (with Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens), “HELLO//GOODBYE” (produced by John Feldmann and Travis Barker) and “PARANOIA” (remix) with Fever333 and Point North.

In late 2023, Garzi announced signing to world renowned independent label, Sumerian Records and dropped stand alone single 'Growin' Up", kicking off a whole new era. Now, with the release of "Much Better" he boldly steps further into his next chapter.

The song comes in hot with subtle synths, cool and unexpected vocal tricks, chunky, industrial-inspired riffs, and undeniable ferocity. "NAIL5" is erected on a groove that will have you nodding your head. Wage War continue to experiment with their sound, and fans and new listeners will be happy to ride sidecar as the band takes thrilling and unpredictable sonic twists and turns.

"'NAIL5' is a tribute to our fifth album and continuing to push the envelope in every way, and in this instance, the heavy side," the band says. "We took the elements that we loved from our past discography and turned it all the way up. The message: You're either in or you're in the way."

ABOUT WAGE WAR:
Traveling a constant forward trajectory at lightspeed, Wage War not only push their own sound forward, but they also propel heavy music into new territory. The Florida quintethave always tempered a pummeling metallic onslaught with unshakable melodies. A near-decade grind naturally brought Wage War to this point. They have unleashed a string of fan favorite albums, including Blueprints [2015], Deadweight [2017], Pressure [2019], and Manic [2021]. Beyond looks from SPINModern DrummerAmerican SongwriterRevolverGuitar World, and more, KERRANG! hailed the latter as "their greatest album yet, and DORK raved, "It's an embracing of being metalheads, popheads and just fans of good songs. On more than one occasion, there's an earworm poking its head up through the dirt. They also put up numbers, tallying hundreds of millions of streams boosted by the likes of "Stitch," "Low," "Manic," and "Circle The Drain." On their fifth full-length offering STIGMA [Fearless Records], Wage War outfit their signature style with industrial grit and electronic sheen, leveling up into the future in the process with singles such as "MAGNETIC" and "NAIL5."

Green Carnation Opening for Opeth

Green Carnation are carefully plotting their next step. The Norwegian progressive metal band are beginning the preparations for the follow up to Leaves of Yesteryear, which was considered among the best albums of 2020 by Heavy Music HQ, Angry Metal Guy and Metal Injection.

Their new album promises to be another dark and poetic chapter in a story that's now lasted more than three decades. In the meantime, the band is honored to announce that they are opening for Opeth!

"This year, we are concentrating on writing and recording new music", vocalist Kjetil Nordhus says. "But when an invite comes along to join Opeth for a concert, you don't refuse!"

Green Carnation will join the mighty Swedes Summer Sojournin Copenhagen on June 26 for a sold-out show at Amager Bio.

"We are looking forward to the show in Copenhagen" Kjetil continues. "We hope to meet up with fans both old and new".

Praise for Green Carnation

"If you don't know Green Carnation, you're doing yourself a disservice" - Angry Metal Guy

"Titans of the craft...a vertiable tour de force" - Metal Injection

"Totally prog; unashamedly Scandinavian; and a wonderful return" - Ghost Cult Mag

"Arose from psychedelia only to forge an entire culture" - Sonic Perspectives

"One of metal's most unique, original acts" - Outburn

After almost 10 years of total silence, Norwegian prog/avant garde metal act Green Carnation announced their comeback to the international metal scene for the 15th anniversary of their cult classic Light of Day, Day of Darkness in 2016. And after a very successful comeback year with festival appearances and special shows both in Europe and North America, the band announced their permanent return to the scene.

Green Carnation from Kristiansand, Norway, was founded as early as 1990, but after founding member Tchort joined legends-to-be Emperor, for their Darkside Eclipse album, and continued in Satyricon and Einherjer, the band was shut down until their debut album, A Journey To The End Of The Night in 2000.

Big parts of the line-up were changed until the bands epic Light of Day, Day of Darkness was released in 2001, and the band changed in a more rock’ish direction with A Blessing in Disguise (2003) and The Quiet Offspring (2005), before the stripped-down Acoustic Verseswas released in 2006.The band is alsoknown for having released on of the more spectacular concert DVDs, recorded in the mountains in Norway, under a 30 meters high water dam, and with audience from all over the world. A Night Under The Dam was also released in 2006. After the successful comeback in 2016, the band continued to do festivals and special shows throughout 2017 and 2018, before releasing their album first in 14 years, Leaves of Yesteryear, in May 2020. The new album was recorded in DUB Studio, with producer Endre Kirkesola, which also produced their classic, Light of Day, Day of Darkness, and having since worked with bands like Abbath, In Vain and Solefald.

Throughout and after COVID-19, Green Carnation have toured Northern Europe, and played festivals, but have concentrated on writing and recording new music. News about the next release is forthcoming.

The King at Kyle Field Set to Surpass 2014 AT&T Attendance Record

The demand for George Strait's only show in Texas in 2024, 'The King at Kyle Field' on June 15, is so great that he is on track to best his own all-time indoor attendance record of 104,793 set in 2014 at his final Cowboy Rides Away finale at AT&T Stadium. The San Antonio Express-News reported the news earlier this week.

"George has always said he has the best fans, and there's nothing like a Texas crowd," shares longtime promoter and founder of Messina Touring Group, Louis Messina. "We knew the show at Kyle Field would be exciting as it's the first-ever one of its size to be held in the stadium, but even I didn't expect we'd sell over 100,000 tickets in just a few days. He'll play to more people in one night than we did at AT&T in 2014! It's a testament to George's reputation as an entertainer and performer that here we are, still setting records and personal bests years later."

Announced on March 19, it's the shortest time in Strait's career that a single show has moved over 100,000 tickets. On June 15, the King of Country Music will be joined by special guests Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman.

Tickets to the Kyle Field performance went on sale to the general public Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m. CT via TheKingAtKyle.com

The news follows the recent announcement that Strait will once again team up with Chris Stapleton to perform one-off stadium dates this year with stops at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, Chicago’s Soldier Field, Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium and more. Joining Strait and Stapleton for those nine dates are special guests Little Big Town.

"We've spent the last few years playing specialty one-off shows in markets he'll likely never play again," adds Messina. "I'm excited about this summer of special shows with Chris Stapleton - it's always been such a great experience for the fans. Bringing these magical nights from the King of Country music to fans has been one of the greatest honors of my life."

About Catie Offerman
Catie Offerman may be a new name to country music fans, but she's already gaining a reputation as one of the genre's most skilled players and promising modern traditionalists and Nashville's music community is responding. Originally from New Braunfels, Texas, Offerman grew up on a horse ranch. Home schooled by her father in the tack room of their barn, she gravitated towards music at a young age. Offerman started playing piano at the age of four which eventually led her to pursue other instruments such as violin, accordion and more. When she was 11, Offerman’s accordion teacher asked her to join their polka band where they traveled across Texas performing. Offerman graduated from Berklee College of Music at the age of 19 and signed her publishing deal with Universal Music Group Publishing about five years later. Offerman was featured in The Highwomen's "Redesigning Women" video, inked her record deal with Universal Music Group in 2020. She was named Pandora’s Ones to Watch for 2023, included in CMT’s “Next Up” class of 2023 as well as being named CMT Next Women of Country. Offerman has spent most of 2023 on the road touring with Parker McCollum, Ian Munsick and Tyler Hubbard. She’s performed at C2C Festival in London as well as dates with George Strait. In 2024 she heads back out on the road with labelmate Parker McCollum on his “Burn It Down” tour. For more information go to www.catieofferman.com.

Koe Wetzel Unleashes “9 Lives (Black Cat),” Out Now

On the heels of “Damn Near Normal,” the first preview of forthcoming new music from genre-disrupting force Koe Wetzel, MusicRow’s “Texas native making his own rules” now unleashes “9 Lives (Black Cat).” Listen Below.

There’s a storm brewing in a pool hall down in Houston/where some poor old boy’s bout to get his teeth knocked out,” Wetzel growls in the very first lyric of the high-octane track. Arriving with an ominous piano intro, the song explodes into a chest-thumping declaration of defiance. Yes, the narrator may have burned through eight lives so far — succumbing to pitfalls ranging from a drug dealer to a rodeo bull — but he dares you to “put the black cat down.”

“I always like hitting the listener right in the nose,” Wetzel says. “‘9 Lives’ is a straight-up rock song, man. I’m influenced by so many genres of music, but with this record, I found myself going back to the Texas country and classic rock that I grew up listening to.”

Written by Wetzel alongside producer Gabe Simon (Lana Del Rey, Noah Kahan, Dua Lipa) and Amy Allen (Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, Harry Styles), “9 Lives” contains a solid helping of what he calls the “rocky nasty shit” on which he’s built his career, offsetting the vulnerability of “Damn Near Normal” and sharing as a preview of the balanced and wide-ranging juxtaposition of music he’s excited to continue sharing with fans.

The live-phenom plans to take his new music global this year as well, with headlining sets at both Cattle Country Fest and Country Thunder Arizona this weekend preceding his recently announced 46-date Damn Near Normal World Tour. Wetzel will also perform prominent sets at several additional festivals this year, including Rock the Country, Hangout, Country Jam, Country Thunder Wisconsin, WE Fest, Watershed and more, plus a hometown stadium show as he joins Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour in Arlington, Texas this July.

About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel might just be the last real rebel out there. The Platinum-selling East Texas-born singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer shakes up the status quo, shatters expectations and sticks to his guns with a sound steeped in country storytelling, yet spiked with grunge grit. He’s unapologetic, undeniable and unlike anyone else you’ve ever heard. Without anything to prove and nothing to lose, he continues to kick ass on his own terms. Breaking through with a series of independent releases and tallying over 2.4 billion streams to date, Wetzel has impressively notched multiple RIAA-certified singles, including six Gold records and the Platinum track “Drunk Driving.” The latter adorned his 2020 Columbia Records debut, Sellout, which arrived to widespread critical acclaim from American SongwriterThe BootRolling Stone and more. Wetzel followed with the release of his 2022 album Hell Paso, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Recorded at the iconic Sonic Ranch Studio outside of El Paso, Texas, the 13-track LP perfectly blends Wetzel’s musical influences and carves a unique lane for himself. In speaking about the album, he says: “We pulled in every genre we were feeling at the time. We spent the last ten years trying to make this sound, Hell Paso has it.”

Over the years, Wetzel has quietly emerged as a powerhouse performer packing arenas, amphitheaters and ballparks across North America. Selling over 275,000 tickets in 2023 alone, he graced POLLSTAR’s “Top Worldwide Tours” for the third time with headline performances, top festivals and an opening slot for Morgan Wallen already slated for 2024. He continues to forge ahead with new music on the horizon. Ultimately, there’s only one Koe Wetzel, and he’s here to stay.

BAT | RELEASE MUSIC VIDEO FOR INFECTIOUS SECOND SINGLE, 'STREETBANGER'

Richmond, Virginia metal-punk trio BAT has been delivering their own blood-spattered horror since ascending from the underground a decade ago on a dark, leather-winged trajectory. The brainchild of MUNICIPAL WASTE guitarists Ryan Waste & Nick Poulos, BAT leans heavily on the dirtier side of speed metal. On May 17th, the band welcomes the release of their second full-length album Under The Crooked Claw via Nuclear Blast Records.

Today, the band offers the infectious second track entitled 'Streetbanger'. The music video was directed by Ryan Waste and the cinematography was completed by Jeff Howlett.

BAT's Ryan Waste states, "'Streetbanger' was a title and lyrical concept I’ve had since the BAT demo days, so it’s been marinating for some time. It’s one of the tunes we reworked and played live for a while so it’s already been a staple in the setlist. For the video, we walked the streets of our hometown, Richmond, VA and shot the performance in our actual rehearsal space. I was able to direct the video clip on my own terms with the help of our close friend Jeff Howlett. Jeff is an amazing photographer who shot the band photos for our upcoming album Under the Crooked Claw as well as a documentary filmmaker known forA Band Called Death (2012). 'Streetbanger' embodies our raw, no-frills attitude in BAT and what you see is what you get.”

The power trio, completed by drummer Chris Marshall, decamped to Philadelphia in June 2021 where Arthur Rizk recorded the basic tracks for Under The Crooked Claw. Yavé Rust tracked lead guitars and vocals later when the band was back in Richmond, ultimately to be mixed by Rizk and mastered by Joel Grind. The artwork for the album was inked by Brandon Holt and colored by Margaret Rolicki.

Jam-packed with tight, concise songs loaded with punchy choruses and lightning-laced leads, each of the 13 tracks offers a new horror short story mixing the perfect blend of heavy metal, punk, and rock ‘n’ roll or as Waste coins it "primitive heavy speed".

High On Fire drops video for title track of new LP 'Cometh The Storm'

Iconic U.S. rock band, High on Fire, will release its new LP, 'Cometh the Storm,' on April 19 via MNRK Heavy. The GRAMMY Award-winning group, celebrating its 25th anniversary, recorded 'Cometh the Storm' at GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts with producer Kurt Ballou. The 11-song effort -- the band's ninth studio album -- marks the release of the first new High on Fire music since 2018's 'Electric Messiah' and the first to feature drummer  Coady Willis (Big Business, Murder City Devils), alongside bassist Jeff Matz, and guitarist/vocalist Matt Pike'Cometh the Storm' boasts runic art and design by longtime High on Fire collaborator Arik Moonhawk Roper.

Now, High on Fire drops a music video for the new album's title track, directed by Phil Mucci for Diabolik Films.

"Cometh the Storm" was built from a riff I started playing on bass at practice," explains bassist/guitarist Jeff Matz . "I was noodling around with this melancholic harmonic minor line, just hammering the notes with my left hand, when Matt yelled out “Are we recording this!?” The chorus riff was something Coady and I came up with when we were jamming in LA. Matt then came in and worked up some rough lyrics and came up with the vocal line. For the chorus, I used this fretless bass I’d acquired. The weight of the low frequencies this thing produced was insane—how it blended with the guitars and drums, it was like being hit with a sledgehammer. We knew right away that this was going to be an epically heavy track."

“This was the first time I got to work with the guys on set and we had a blast,” offers Mucci. High on Fire lyrics can always be interpreted in a number of ways, so I started by trying to define “The Storm”. A huge list of visual ideas got whittled down to the two essential characters at work, The Man and Gaia, representing duel ends of the spectrum — with a very destructive cross-over. I always try to keep things light and encourage everyone to come with ideas — like Coady’s burning cymbal idea! No better way to end your High on Fire shoot than with exploding cymbals!”

High on Fire will kick off U.S. headlining tour dates in support of 'Cometh the Storm on May 4 in Orlando, FL. The jaunt will feature support from Venezuelan post rock outfit, Zeta, and Massachusetts crossover crew High Command

Tim Montana Announces New Album "Savage" + Shares Title Track

Rock singer/guitarist/songwriter TIM MONTANA is thrilled to announce Savage, his debut rock album, out July 12. Pre-order it here.

On Savage, Montana gets in touch with his undeniable rock 'n' roll roots. Armed with grit, guitars, and a hunger for glory, Montana has been endorsed by Dave Grohl and ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, booked by David Letterman, and had his anthems used by the MLB and NHL. His moody, crackling, '90s-influenced riffs and whiskey-soaked vocals reel fans in while his storytelling keeps them. Savage is a custom and combustible cocktail, served in a dirty, cracked glass that proves why Montana earned iHeartRadio's "On The Verge" accolade.

Today, Montana has also shared the title track. Listen below.

"'Savage' is a window into my world and what I was inspired by over the course of writing and recording this album," Montana shares. "If there is a keystone or a decoder ring to the themes of these songs, 'Savage' is it. It's best enjoyed extremely loud."

With the new single, Montana comes out of the gates swinging. The blustery song is erected on a hellacious riff, push 'n' pull percussive tension, husky, smoky vocals, and the repeated battle cry that "Everything can go to hell...Everything is savage." Montana is no longer knocking on rock music's door. He's kicked it open and has waltzed right in.

Tim Montana is touring heavily with Staind and Seether this spring and with Bush, Jerry Cantrell, and Candlebox this summer.

ABOUT TIM MONTANA:
Tim Montana forges a new frontier for hard rock. Following a tumultuous and downright unbelievable childhood in a trailer off-the-grid, the singer, guitarist, and entrepreneur left his home state of Montana in the rearview at barely eighteen-years-old. Driven by a restless work ethic, he quietly carved out a niche without comparison. Along the way, he performed on The Late Show with David Letterman at the behest of the host (practically unheard of for a totally independent artist), collaborated with everyone from Billy Gibbons to Kid Rock (cracking the charts for the first time), made a fan out of Charlie Sheen (who directed the "Mostly Stoned" video), and even attracted his idol Dave Grohl to his corner. Forged by a long grind, he fulfilled his destiny in 2023. Tim shook the rock world with "Devil You Know." Christened "flawless" and "One of the 30 Best Rock + Metal Songs of 2023" by Loudwire, the breakout single surged onto Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay and Rock & Alternative Airplay charts. In its wake, iHeartRadio touted him as an "On The Verge Artist.Soon, he found himself booked for tours with Staind, Seether, Saint Asonia, Bush, and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains (another hero of Tim's). Simultaneously, he and Gibbons purchased historic bar and hotel Wise River Club in Wise River, MT. Coming back home to Montana inspired him to go even wilder on his 2024 full-length album, Savage. The hooks hit harder, the distortion was cranked up louder, and the spirit became freer.  Tim is telling a story that will resonate far beyond his home state, and you can hear it loud and clear on the first single and title track "Savage" and more to come.

intervals Drops New Track + Official Visualizer "nootropic" From Upcoming Album 'memory palace' Out May 17

Innovative instrumental metal powerhouse intervals have dropped their new track "nootropic" and the official visualizer today. Fans attending recent intervals shows got a special sneak peek of the song, which can be found on the band's upcoming new album 'memory palace' set for release on Friday, May 17. When asked about the inspiration behind today's release, intervals mastermind Aaron Marshall shared:

'nootropic' is the first tune that came out of the brain/hands when I started writing for the new record, and I’m super stoked to roll this one out! We’ve been playing it on tour over the past month and it’s been getting a really strong pop live, so I can’t wait for everyone to hear the recorded version. With this being the third single out from 'memory palace', this should give everyone an idea of the range of sounds happening on the record!

Prior to today, intervals released "mnemonic" and most recently, "neurogenesis" featuring the acclaimed genre-blending electronic duo KOAN Sound, as well as guitar playthroughs for both (linked here and here, respectively). Pre-save 'memory palace' at the link here, stream "nootropic" here, and watch the visualizer below.

intervals exist as the unbound and unapologetic creative expression of Aaron Marshall. The progressive guitar rock faithful revere Marshall for his virtuoso chops and melodic prowess in equal measure. His distinctive character and musical personality shine throughout the heady, catchy, and transcendent instrumental compositions found across the ever-growing catalog of intervals albums.

The music is a window into the Toronto, Ontario, guitarist’s mind, body, and soul. Songs like Libra5-HTPBelvedereI’m Awake, and mnemonic rank among the most popular in the genre. Metal Injection describes intervals as “catchy-as-hell shred.” Sonic Perspectives declared the band’s fourth album, 2020’s 'Circadian', “strikes the perfect balance between shred, songwriting, and melody.”

A trio of gifted touring and recording musicians surround Marshall as they collectively share intervals’ songs with the world: drummer Nathan Bulla, bassist Jacob Mansky, and guitarist Travis LeVrier. They consistently stun audiences, including on celebrated treks with SpiritboxTesseracTAnimals As LeadersPolyphiaPeripheryProtest The Hero, and Between The Buried And Me

The earliest intervals offerings, including two EPs and 2014’s full-length debut, A Voice Within (the sole album with lead vocals), were decidedly heavy and aggressive. Heralded by MetalSucks as “fantastic” and “lacking virtually nothing,” 2015’s The Shape of Colour ventured in a new direction. intervals' fourth album was appropriately titled The Way Forward. “Employing many of the same techniques as technical progressive metal but in a major-key, upbeat framework has been intervals’ calling card,” wrote Metal Hammer. “[The Way Forward] is a purer distillation of [Marshall’s] aim.”

Circadian marked intervals’ first collaboration with Sam Guiana (Silverstein, Neck Deep, Holding Absence). memory palace brilliantly celebrates the best of intervals’ past, present, and future. The album is diverse, uplifting, and crushingly heavy. Also produced by Guaianamemory palace includes collaborations with KOAN Sound (“neurogenesis”), J3PO (“galaxy brain”), and OBLVYN (“lacuna”).

Fiercely independent and precision-focused but never lacking in uplifting vibe and fun, intervals continues to grow from Marshall’s strong roots in authenticity, instinct, and trusting one’s gut. - Ryan Downey
