Randall King Ushers in His Neon Era with "Green Eyes Blue," Out Now

Warner Music Nashville recording artist Randall King’s music is bound to keep people “two-stepping on the dance floor” as noted by CMT, and with his latest release, “Green Eyes Blue,” the Texas native continues to do just that. Ushering in what can only be described as his “neon era of country music”– with tunes that are best enjoyed while swaying under the neon haze at a local honky tonk – “Green Eyes Blue,” written by King and Randy Montana, finds him in awe with the taming of his once wild heart. Listen below.

Debuting the song for the first time from the Grand Ole Opry stage last week (March 15) during his second Opry appearance – exactly one year after making his debut in 2022 – made its meaning even more special. The song finds King acknowledging his wayward past while displaying a vulnerable side and sense of astonishment with the power of the love which saved him:

I was running around all over town
        Fences couldn’t keep me in
All my buddies said I’d be lucky
If I could outrun my sins
It’s like I was saved from the hell I raised
When my gaze locked on you
        Said I’d hate to make
        Those green eyes blue

“I wrote this a couple years back with Randy Montana about this great green eyed girl I know," shares King. "It’s about being a better man and leaving your wild ways behind to not hurt the one you love.”

Fresh off a performance at London’s celebrated C2C Festival, King recently announced he will continue his international trek this fall with the addition of new European tour dates. Known for his road warrior diet of over 150 dates each year touring across the United States, the hustling King will carry the fall leg of his tour through seven new cities in 2023, with stops in London, Manchester and Glasgow in the U.K. and Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Cologne in Germany.

About Randall King:
One of country’s new crop of modern traditionalists, Warner Music Nashville artist Randall King grew up on the endless plains of West Texas – and his sound is steeped in their timeless beauty with a mix of grit and grace. He grew up singing in the back of a ‘93 Chevy Suburban, mimicking the pure-country vocals of stars like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson and over the years became drawn to the electrifying energy of modern stars like Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean. After years of hustling and a road-warrior’s diet of 150 shows each year, King produced and released the defiant 2016 EP, Another Bullet, then followed up with a 2018 self-titled album. Now, King is bringing an organic, timeless sound to country’s mainstream with his major label debut album Shot Glass. The 11-song collection, seven of which were co-written by King, centers around a night out at a bar, with each track representing a different point of view of those in the room. The album was named to Whiskey Riff’s Top 40 Country Albums of 2022 and Billboard’s All Genre 50 Best Albums of 2022 (So Far), making him the only male country artist to make the list. With over 200+ million career streams to his name, the 2023 Music Mayhem Magazine and 2022 Pandora and Country Now Country Artist to Watch is looking to the anywhere-and-everywhere future with music that captures the essence of a Western poet who’s never been afraid to be himself.

The return of the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade follows Primus’ wildly popular ‘A Tribute To Kings’ Tour,

Paying tribute to Rush, which toured the country in 2022. Last year also saw the release of Primus’ first new music in more than five years, the sprawling 3-song ‘Conspiranoid’ EP, which included the epic 11-minute opening track, “Conspiranoia,” and second single, “Follow The Fool.”

About Steve Hackett

Steve Hackett joined Genesis at the beginning of 1971 and gained an international reputation as the guitarist in the band’s classic line-up alongside Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford and Phil Collins. Hackett’s intricate guitar work was a key element of Genesis’ albums from Nursery Cryme (1971) to Wind And Wuthering (1977) including the classic Selling England By The Pound.

After leaving Genesis at the end of 1977, Hackett’s solo career, which now spans more than 30 albums, has demonstrated his extraordinary versatility with both electric and acoustic guitar. Hackett is renowned as both an immensely talented and innovative rock musician and a virtuoso classical guitarist and composer and this was recognised in 2010 when he was inducted into the Rock Hall Of Fame. He has also worked alongside Steve Howe of YES in the supergroup GTR.

Hackett’s compositions take influences from many genres, including jazz, classical and blues. For his later studio works The Night Siren (2017) and At The Edge Of Light (2019) Hackett has explored the influences of world music. Recent tours have seen Hackett celebrate his time with Genesis including a spectacular 2018 tour in which he realised a long-held ambition to perform the works of Genesis live with his band and an orchestra.

The lockdown enforced by the 2020 global pandemic has proven to be a particularly creative period for Hackett. He began by releasing Selling England by the Pound & Spectral Mornings: Live at Hammersmith, a live recording of 2019’s hugely successful tour celebrating that Genesis classic together with the 40th anniversary of one of his most-loved solo albums. Lockdown also gave Hackett the opportunity to write and record two new studio albums, the UK Classical Chart hit Under A Mediterranean Sky and Surrender of Silence.

SONS ON FIRE Release New Single "Collapse" via Curtain Call Records

"Sons On Fire prove why they are not afraid to tap into the emotions of mental health that so many deal with. The diversity of their songwriting can take you from the intensity of “Rise” into the darkness of “Collapse” and not miss a beat."

LA Lloyd/ LA Lloyd's Rock 30 Countdown

"Sons on Fire is on the "Rise" with their latest song "Collapse" to rock radio, it's a must add! " JZ MD 94Rocks KFML-Little Falls

"'Collapse' is the strongest single the guys in Sons On Fire have put out so far. This is a band that has found their sound and identity. I'm very excited to see what they do next!"

Ryan Fantozzi Morning DJ at WQLZ /Springfield, IL

“A band in charge and going for it full-throttle with the music goods to prove it.”

Wayne Benson at 107 ROCK WBRR - The Gator

Sons ON Fire release new single "Collapse" along with the official lyric video to all major platforms via Curtain Call Records. The single was produced and mixed by Joe Marlett (Blink 182, Switchfoot, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age).

“We feel this is the most wide appealing most commercial song we’ve written. It sheds a light on life’s everyday problems and how suicide is not the answer. Everybody has their own problems and issues and we just want everyone to know that help is just a phone call away. You are not alone," says the band's drummer Bill Nychay.

San Diego's own Sons ON Fire has quickly become known to fans around the world as a band bound and determined to make its mark among the heavy hitters of modern rock. You could hear it as their first singles "Faded" and "Just A Man" (Pavement Music) tore up the charts for almost a full year and they have now reloaded with the addition of vocal heavyweight Josh Marin and guitarist Shawn Morgan (formerly of Papercut Massacre/Wind-Up Records) along with founding members Trevor Edwards, Bill Nychay and JK MCKinney aka Johnny Fingerz (both formerly of Kicking K8/Crash Music/EMI).

This lethal combo has created a synergy resulting in an amazing new partnership with Curtain Call Records, huge performances ( Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, Tommy Vext, Black Top Mojo and Saving Abel) and culminated with the release of their first single “Rise”; an anthem for everyone looking to “Get Up and Rise” over whatever is keeping you from moving forward in life. The band has had tons of experience performing with heavy hitters Disturbed, Stone Sour, Seether, Black Label Societyand many more. They are influenced by the likes of Sevendust, Motley Crue, Jimi Hendrix, Staind, Chevelle and Three Days Grace.

This band has faced it and even been knocked down at times, but being knocked down does NOT mean knocked out. The great ones get up, dust themselves off, kick adversity in the teeth and push forward to “Rise” up bigger and better than ever. THAT is Sons ON Fire!

In this world today you can either “embrace” and overcome what the world throws at you or be “destroyed” and crushed by it. Sons ON Fire chose to “Get Up and Rise” in order to bring its new music to the people. Embrace THAT or get out of the damn way!

Adair, Oklahoma native Cody Hibbard knows the value of hard work. Growing up on his family’s ranch, he worked from the day he could help shovel ‘til the day he left for the United States Naval Academy. With an injury keeping him from a career in service, he instead rolled up his sleeves to earn a living in pipelining. Working wherever needed, his day-job led to a lot of new cities where the only constant was his guitar and the guarantee of a campground or a bar where the conversation would ultimately turn to the Asian Pacific American performing for his fellow blue-collar crowd.

“People would say ‘Man, you do not sound how you look,’” Hibbard remembers. “My buddies would respond for me: ‘If you can’t believe how country he sounds when he talks, you ought to hear him sing!’ It helps to have that shock factor that grabs people’s attention at first, but it makes this career worthwhile when it goes beyond that, and the ‘anomaly’ can inspire and relate through the music.”

Known in Nashville circles for his expert A&R ear, music veteran Jim Catino of Droptine Music first discovered Hibbard’s music while diving into streaming services on the lookout for new artists to capture his attention. With recent development for Dalton Dover leading to a publishing deal with Droptine and Sony Music Publishing along with a record deal with UMG Nashville, Catino is excited to see Country’s tent expanding to encompass even more prowess.

“I have never been more excited about artist development than I have since I started my new venture, and I’m particularly excited to sign Cody,” shares Catino. “His energy and passionate delivery of a song caught my ear on a first listen of his hit ‘Dying Breed.’ I knew right away he was a perfect fit for Droptine as well as an artist I could help take things to the next level. He’s a seasoned performer and knows a great song.”

Hibbard’s latest release and first on Droptine, “Looking Back Now,” is available on all streaming services.

Kenny Chesney Leaves The Steel Mill; I GO BACK Kicks Off THIS Thursday

WORKING IN A STEEL MILL

Kenny Wraps Week of All Teams Rehearsals...
Bringing Surprise Songs, Lights, Video & Band Together

I Go Back 2023 Kicks-Off This Thursday, March 23
at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va.

Nobody takes locking in a show as seriously as Kenny Chesney, who brought all of his teams together for a week of tweaking video and aligning light cues at the Steel Mill just north of Nashville. For the crew, band and tour staff, the final rehearsals brought all the teams together for the first time since wrapping Chesney’s record-setting Here And Now 2022 Tour with two nights at Foxboro, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium last August.

“It always feels good when we have our road family back together,” Chesney said of the week. “A lot happens over the winter, so we’re catching up. But we’re also figuring out how to put all the pieces together, trying to make it something that’s really special. Obviously last year’s tour rocked harder than anything we’ve done, which is crazy to me, but I wanted to bring that passion and energy to all these special cities where we don’t get to go very often.”

After one of 2022’s biggest tours in any genre – having the fifth biggest tour after only Bad Bunny, Elton John, Motley Crue/Def Leppard and Harry Styles – the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee wanted to take this music that’s been the soundtrack to coming of age in the 21st century to the fans in those places where it all began.

Named for the No. 1 song that celebrated the way a song can transport you to places that defined who you are and created a time stamp for life, the I Go Back 2023 Tour kicks off this week in Charlottesville, Va. It’s a very special tour for the man the Wall Street Journal deemed “The King of the Road,” who’s committed to ensuring that every person who loved this music and found their life in his songs gets to witness the incredible live experience that made 2022 one incredible summer.

“And there are going to be some real surprises in the set list,” he teases. “A couple songs we’ve not played in a long time... the opportunity to sing our Vocal Event ‘half of my hometown’ with Kelsea makes me happy. And a few songs are being left behind. I spent the months off thinking about how we can change things up. I think we’ve got a lot of the songs people want to hear, but we’re adding a couple that nobody sees coming. I can’t wait to see the response.”

I Go Back 2023 is in many ways a gift to the fans. His Here And Now 2022 Tour, which played to 1.3 million people and broke his personal best at many of the 21 stadium plays, was one for the books. The only country artist to make Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Past 25 Years for the last 14, Chesney never forgets who he was or where he came from.

“Getting inside those arenas that we never forgot, playing in some of those cities that were just wild when this started, bringing all the energy we had last year, I can’t imagine how alive it’s gonna be, but I fully intend to find out. The thing about No Shoes Nation I know: they bring us every bit of their heart – so we try to give even more than they do, which is saying something.”

With close to 30 songs on the list – and a few surprises depending on the night, I Go Back 2023 is Chesney as intimate as he’s ever been. But it’s also just as powerful as the biggest venues.

I Go Back 2023, with special guest Kelsea Ballerini, is presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum.

NE OBLIVISCARIS Shares New Live Video for Shares New Song, "Misericorde I - As The Flesh Falls"

The band comments, "We present to you Part 1 of 2 of our 16 minute+ epic 'Misericorde,' a song that delves into the subject of dealing with terminal illness. It's about your body betraying you, the inner battle both physical and mental (and the range of emotions that come with it), which eventually becomes apparent to others as your health deteriorates letting your armour fall away."

ICYMI: NE OBLIVISCARIS recently debuted a new live video for its seminal song, "And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope," which was recorded in Melbourne (AU) on May 10, 2019 at 170 Russell. The clip is taken from an upcoming 'Live in Melbourne' Blu-Ray performance that will only be available via the special collector's edition of 'Exul!' Limited to just 2,000 copies, the special item also contains 'Exul' on CD, a 16-page booklet, and a unique media book with a mount-it-yourself acrylic box, figurine and logo! Drum tracking for Exul, the fourth long-player from Australian extreme progressive metallers NE OBLIVISCARIS, started in March 2020. There is an ominous tone to that date: March 2020. The pandemic demarcation line. That month, Daniel Presland laid down his drums in Nashville, Tennessee, with American producer Mark Lewis. As flight cancellations increased and borders shuttered, Presland made it home literally hours before Australia closed theirs. Lewis, guitarist Benjamin Baret and bassist Martino Garattoni weren’t as lucky. They were due to land in Australia in the days that followed to continue tracking, but were forced to remain overeseas indefinitely. With recording studios shuttered throughout Melbourne, a slow, tedious, life-altering two-year grind to complete Exul ensued for NE OBLIVISCARIS

What should have been the continued upward swing after 2017’s critically acclaimed Urn turned into the most fraught moment of NE OBLIVISCARIS’s career. Clean vocalist and violinist Tim Charles says the period “came close to breaking us completely.” It was a time filled with death, relationships breaking down, despair and financial loss. Presland, NE OBLIVISCARIS’s drummer since 2005, amicably parted ways in early 2022, throwing yet another wrench into the band’s plans.

There are, however, happy accidents scattered throughout the creation of Exul. The extra, unexpected downtime allowed the band to fine-tune and even re-write parts previously set in stone before the pandemic. Charles’s violin solo at the end of “Graal” is a prime example: His original idea wasn’t fully realized until he revisited the song in early 2021 and promptly came up with a new part. It was a classic “a-ha” moment that improved the song.

“Getting an opportunity to have a song mostly done for a year or so and then go back to it, find what you loved about it the first time and maybe even improve it in some ways was a nice silver lining from all the delays,” says Charles. “I think because we had so many delays that were out of our control, we were even more determined to take our time to make sure when the time came to record and to mix, that we ensured it was the absolute best it could be in every way.”

Seven additional studios and three more countries later, Exul was finally mixed and mastered in July 2022.

The album personifies NE OBLIVISCARIS’s distinctive, boundary-pushing ethos. The band’s trademark blend of emotion and beauty is as towering as ever, if not even more compelling, particularly how Charles’s violin lines carefully weave their way around Baret and fellow guitarist Matt Klavins’ riffing. The duality of Charles’s clean vocals and Xenoyr’s growls remains the narrative anchor, elevating songs that emanate sophistication and are a masterclass in composition.

“Our approach is always the same,” says Charles, “which is essentially to just write and see what comes out. Exul definitely had its challenges during the songwriting process. Part of the beauty of how our music comes together is that we are quite different individuals bringing an array of ideas together. From there, we work out how to combine them into something that is seamless and beautiful to us. We were determined to make this our best and most complete album yet, which definitely resulted in it taking longer. But we are so proud of this album and it’s exciting to finally share it with the world.”

The album’s centerpiece is the two-part “Misericorde I – As the Flesh Fails” and “Misericorde – Anatomy of Quiescence.” (A NE OBLIVISCARIS album is not complete without a multi-part epic!) According to Charles, Part II began by taking a song they thought was finished (Pt I) and asking, “What if after that…?” The band then wrote a section that took the piece in a new direction and what was a 7 minute song, became an almost 17 minute 2 part epic.

“The bulk of Part I was written more so by Benji and Martino,” notes Charles. “You can hear the very guitar-driven approach present throughout that track. Part II, by contrast, was written more so by myself in collaboration with others and the emphasis changes more towards expansive solos and slow-developing sections that build towards the epic finale. These two tracks are a great example of how it’s the combination of our different strengths as songwriters spread across an album that results in the sound that is 'NE OBLIVISCARIS'.”

Charles’s violin parts, whether on “Misericorde II,” “Equus” or “Suspyre,” exude confidence. The instrument has always been central to the band’s sound. On Exul, Charles’s violin playing is taken to another level. “I think that over the years, in regards to how my violin interacts within NeO’s music, I’ve simply continued to add more strings to my bow, so to speak,” he says. “With ‘Exul,’ I definitely explored even further the use of layers of violin and viola parts to create a more textured feel compared to other albums. ‘Mesericorde II’ was definitely a bit of a breakthrough song for me, where I felt I could utilize the strings in a way that hadn’t been done in NeO’s music before. In the end, whatever serves the song best is always the aim and having more ways of creating music makes it easier to serve the song.”

The Exul album title came to Xen when he was summing up the album’s feeling musically and lyrically. Coincidentally, it matched the experience of most people during the pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. “I think everyone at some point has felt at odds with the world around them, felt alone, cast out, or misunderstood,” says Xen. “Exul felt right to use in a broader sense and as a lone word, for we each have our own history and a story of exile.

“Overall, there’s a darker core to this album, perhaps more ominous than previous releases,” he continues. “However abstract the lyrics are, they involve some form of unwanted departure — all journeys into torment, passion, longing and even despair. They touch on the process of physical and psychological destruction that comes from that sense or reality of being exiled, whether forced from one’s land, ostracised from a community, shunned by a religion, or even simply being treated differently for being who they are.”

Touring will factor heavily into NE OBLIVISCARIS’s 2023 plans. The band will embark on headlining tours worldwide that will hit new territories. As luck would have it, the return to live show activity will coincide with the release of Exul and the band’s 20th anniversary. As one of Australia’s leading extreme metal exports, there is a distinct sense of gratitude from Charles and his bandmates. They’re looking forward to sharing it with fans when they resume touring.

“Simply getting the opportunity to perform music that we’ve written on stages around the world to people that genuinely love and connect with it,” finishes Charles when talking about NE OBLIVISCARIS’s 20-year journey. “There is something incredibly special about the energy that exists between an artist and audience at a concert and it’s an honor to get the opportunity to spend 2023 connecting with people in that way once more.”

That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid-80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll. The same roots that produced bands like The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith.

The ground started shaking in Sacramento, CA, in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” 1989’s double-platinum The Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song”. Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status. In 1990, TESLAhelped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.” Other 90s albums from TESLA include platinum selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material including 9 new albums since 2000 and recently debuted their new single, “Time To Rock!”

TESLA has endured many of the same taste-changing challenges that affected many in the post-grunge world, but through it all, their blue-collar work ethic and dedication to the faithful fan base has helped them not just survive, but thrive. TESLA’s legacy is alive and well as they continue to record and sellout venues all over the world. As comfortable, rugged, and dependable as your favorite pair of boots, they endure. TESLA is a celebration of the greatest spirits of rock and roll.

Brooklyn's A CLOUD OF RAVENS releases 'Parable', final single from 'Lost Hymns' LP

“Their sound, though inspired by bands of their youth, is not rooted stubbornly in the past - their music feels of this time, with their messages transversing the cosmos” ~ Post-Punk.com

"Sonic luxuriance... racing at full velocity with tight-fisted riffs, cutting exactitude and danceability... a healthy reminder of the original and timeless allure of the post-punk sound and scene" ~ The Spill Magazine

“A Cloud of Ravens impress not only for the dark poetry, which forms and develops in the band’s lyrics and expands in their alluring titles, but the duo also rivet through their gritty and immediate sonic scheme, which feels pitch dark and hard as nails”Destroy // Exist

"A perfect blend of an homage to the past and the modern construction of the future. A heroic journey through a desolate land" ~ Sounds and Shadows

“They play cold wave, they play post-punk, they are Gothic and they set to music some of the most striking lyrics you can find” ~ White Light // White Heat

NYC-based postpunk duo A Cloud of Ravens has released 'Parable', a foreboding tale (and the final single) from their forthcoming 'Lost Hymns' LP. Recorded from spring to autumn 2021 and mastered by ACTORS' Jason Corbett at his Jacknife Sound studio, this collection of 11 tracks will be released via Nexilis Records / Schubert Music Europe on April 28.

'Parable' is a foreboding tale that comes following 'Requiem For The Sun', which casts a hopeful eye towards the light in a rich frenetic jaunt through the multiple facets of darkness we are all so eager to leave. Earlier, the duo previewed 'Nature of Artifice' and 'The Blackest Mantra'.

Formed in 2018 by Matthew McIntosh (guitar and vocals) and Beth Narducci (bass guitar), the Brooklyn-based duo emerged on the burgeoning dark music scene with a series of self-released offerings that garnered attention that led to their 2021 album 'Another Kind of Midnight', a mournful yet triumphant collection exploring the heart of a world amidst a devastating pandemic and torn by moral tribalism.

"In some ways, 'Parable' channels Einstein’s definition of insanity, which is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result," says Matthew McIntosh.

"Though dense in metaphor, 'Parable' is asking - how dire do things need to get in this world for us to realize, as a society and culturally, that maybe something needs to shift as far as how we honor each other, the futility of war, and how we treat the environment? We’ve got one planet, and we’re on it together whether we like it or not. Doesn’t the path of least resistance ultimately make the most sense?"

Effectively merging classic and contemporary post-punk and darkwave sensibilities, their somewhat poetic use of prose and metaphor expressed the trials and joys of the world in which we now find ourselves. A Cloud of Ravens' subsequent remix-based EP featured contributions by legendary producer John Fryer and such prominent artists as Clan of Xymox, ACTORS, Chris Vrenna and Ritual Howls.

Growing up in a family of avid music lovers and her mother being a professional opera single, McIntosh arrived at this genre of music after ample explorations in the punk, death rock and hardcore scenes, finally forging the duo's trademark sound with Narducci, whose background is more connected with alternative rock and industrial music, as well as professionally supporting fellow musicians in the A&R field.

'Parable' is out now, available across digital outlets, including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and Bandcamp. In support of the 'Lost Hymns' album, A Cloud of Ravens will launch a European tour with Then Comes Silence in April-May, followed by North American dates with Clan of Xymox and Curse Mackey in May-June.

Saint Asonia Share "Devastate" Video — WATCH // Band On Tour Now!

ON TOUR NOW WITH SKILLET + THEORY OF A DEADMAN

Hard rock juggernaut SAINT ASONIA have released the music video for their single "Devastate." Watch the video below.

The song is featured on the band's new album, Introvert/Extrovert, which was released last December via Spinefarm. The full-length also features previous singles "Above It All" and "Blinding Lights."

Commenting on the new video, lead singer Adam Gontier shares"We’re excited to share the new official video for 'Devastate!' Once again working with director Justin Reich, we had a blast doing this one. Hope you all enjoy it! 🤘🏻"

Talking about the meaning behind the track, Gontier adds, "It's a song I wrote about those people in our lives that always seem to leave a trail of destruction behind them. I feel like we've all got, or had, someone in our lives that was just evil. Not caring about anything but themselves, and turning everything they touch into darkness. 'Devastate' is about that."

SAINT ASONIA, comprised of heavy hitters Gontier (former Three Days Grace front man) and Mike Mushok (Staind guitarist/founding member), have been making plenty of noise of late! In addition to the stellar release of Introvert/Extrovert, the band is currently on tour in the US supporting Theory of a Deadman and Skillet.

Following the U.S. trek, Saint Asonia will play a series of headline shows in Canada, along with a support gig in the band's hometown with Theory of a Deadman. In anticipation of these dates, Gontier says, "We are really stoked to be coming back home to Canada for a few shows! We're working up a killer set for the headline shows, and supporting Theory in our hometown of Peterborough is going to be awesome! Let'd goooo CA!!!"

The Devil Wears Prada Announce "Color Decay" Deluxe Edition With 10 Additional Tracks + Share "Reaching" Video — WATCH✋

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA ANNOUNCE DELUXE EDITION OF COLOR DECAY

NEW VERSION FEATURING 10 ADDITIONAL TRACKS ARRIVES MAY 5

BAND SHARES "REACHING" VIDEO

The Devil Wears Prada — Mike Hranica [vocals], Jeremy DePoyster [vocals, guitar], Mason Nagy [bass], Kyle Sipress [guitar], Jonathan Gering [keys, synthesizers], and Giuseppe Capolupo [drums] — are thrilled to announce a deluxe edition of their eighth album Color Decay, which arrives May 5 via Solid State. Pre-order it here.

The expanded version will be available digitally and on vinyl. It will include 10 additional tracks — a treasure trove that features two new songs, acoustic versions of Color Decay favorites, live renditions, and remixes. Collectors, rejoice!

"We've been so proud of and grateful for Color Decay feedback, and with that, we're releasing our first deluxe edition in 15 years. Listeners have all chimed in with favorited tracks and we've cooked up a bunch of videos; fast forward, we figured we had no choice but to grow the Color Decay universe even bigger," the band says.

And with that, TDWP have shared the video for the new track "Reaching." Watch it below.

"'Reaching' is a song about unapologetic growth," says Hranica. "I feel we often hear songs of resilience and strength that don't really cover the dirty, harder times. It takes struggle and failure to better oneself, and I think that's the soul of this tune."

TDWP will hit the road with August Burns Red on the second leg of tour next month. All dates are below.

ABOUT TDWP:
The Devil Wears Prada have been consistently delivering since forming in 2005. Fans voted 2009's seminal With Roots Above and Branches Below one of the 5 Greatest Metalcore Albums in a Revolver poll, with the magazine christening it "a true metalcore landmark." The group has notched six consecutive Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, including Dead Throne [2011], 8:18 [2013], Space EP [2015], Transit Blues [2016], The Act [2019], and ZII EP [2021]. The latter served as a sequel to one of their most beloved projects — 2010's Zombie EP. In the wake of the EP, the group exceeded a-quarter-of-a-billion cumulative streams and views. During 2021, the musicians decamped to remote hideaways together in Wisconsin and Desert Hot Springs, California. This time around, Jon took the reins as producer, collaborating closely to assemble a rich sonic architecture for what would become Color Decay.

Bury Tomorrow Share "Begin Again" Video — WATCH

NEW ALBUM THE SEVENTH SUN OUT MARCH 31 VIA MUSIC FOR NATIONS

British metal sextet Bury Tomorrow have today released the video for "Begin Again," another taste of their forthcoming seventh album, the aptly titled The Seventh Sun, released March 31, 2023 on Music For Nations

Watch the video below

The band reprised their relationship with Modern Error’s (remixed DEATH last year) Zak Pinchin to produce a stunning visualizer.

Guitarist Kristan Dawson says the track is "representative of the change we have all faced in the past few years. It represents an element of renewal and appreciation of where we have been as a band and where we are yet to go. Musically, it serves as a contrast to the heaviness we have presented in the first three singles, but packs a punch in a more positive way."

Bury Tomorrow will embark on a Spring 2023 headline tour of North America. All dates are below. Get tickets here

It's never too late to be what you might have been. Sometimes you just need a push to take the plunge. Few people would be greater advocates for this truth than Bury Tomorrow.

Faced 18 months ago, following a period of external and internal strife, with the very real reality that it might be time to pack up their successes and close the book on a storied career of 15 years, with their hands forced and backs to the wall Bury Tomorrow instead picked up fate's gauntlet and set about writing the chapter they had always imagined.

The Seventh Sun stands as testament to the bonds and belief required to shape themselves a new reality, a new sound, and a new future.

Refocused yet no more restrained, the album's expanded sonic palette platforms sky-high melodies, layered with textured atmosphere, cloaking an underlying savagery.

The thematic threads weaved through The Seventh Sun are met in kind by a throughline that musically stitches together each of its 12 tracks — an idea that guitarist Kristan Dawson has sought to execute for years. "Every single song sets up the next part of the record," he reveals. "I wanted it to feel like a one long body of work." In doing so, the album takes on its own kind its own sonic story-telling. "I feel like I was musically at where Dan was at lyrically," Dawson suggests.

All of this combines, as Winter-Bates asserts, to exhibit "the best version of Bury Tomorrow people will have heard." Positivity, and possibility, now seems boundless, where not so long ago doubts persisted. "That is as much to do with Tom (Prendergast — keys/vocals) and Ed (Hartwell — guitar) joining the band as it is about the rest of us," Dawson notes. "I think we'd convinced ourselves at times that we weren't friends, when actually, we're family. You can't have this sort of life experience and not be and not be as emotionally connected to each other as we are."

The guitarist points to the album's numerical title, saying, "You know, there is something in the number seven that is very representative of change. There's a renewal aspect to it — seven days in a week, seven hells, and so forth. And on our seventh album, that's the case for us, too. I hope fans hear how much we appreciate the opportunity we have to make music for them. It's an opportunity for us to showcase our love for, put our stamp on, and represent UK metal. What a privilege that is for us, and we're ready to prove that we're doing everything for those right reasons."
