Announce US Tour Dates Supporting Whitechapel

Vancouver Tech-Death quintet ARCHSPIRE are thrilled to announce that they are joining Whitechapel on the band’s upcoming ‘The Valley’ 2023 U.S. Tour! Hailed by both fans and critics alike as one of extreme metal’s most unhinged, technical, and mercilessly pummeling modern acts, ARCHSPIRE continue to take delight in melting faces on the strength of their 2021 full-length, Bleed The Future.

Commenting on these upcoming shows in the states, the band shares:

"AMERICA!!! We just got the news, we're stoked to announce we'll be supporting WHITECASTLE on their headliner tour!!! We are of course huge fans of their tiny sandwiches, and now to hear that they also have branched out into extreme metal, really surprised us! We -*Papers rustling*

"Oh...Whoops! Sorry, read that press release wrong. WHITECHAPEL is headlining the tour. Geez, that makes a LOT more sense! Super excited to be supporting a band with such a legacy, alongside our new friends in Signs of the Swarm, and our dearest pals in Entheos!

"Anyway, now we have to rethink the catering for the tour, because we assumed we'd be getting free food...”

Bad Omens slither through boundaries, only to ultimately choke convention in the process. The quartet—Noah Sebastian (vocals), Joakim “Jolly” Karlsson (guitar), Nick Ruffilo (bass), and Nick Folio (drums)—materialize with ghostly atmospherics, striking hooks, and the tingles of sensual high-register harmonies uplifted by cinematic production. Racking up over 250M worldwide streams to date and earning acclaim, the band presents an uncompromising and undeniable vision on their third full-length album, 'THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND' (Sumerian Records).

“Making the record changed us as songwriters and musicians. In many ways, I feel like it set me free as an artist because every decision made in the writing process was for myself, with no fear for anyone else’s expectations of what our third album should sound like. Be it our fans or our record label.”

They’ve always wielded this level of magic though…

The group’s 2016 self-titled debut, 'Bad Omens', yielded fan favorites such as “Glass Houses” and “The Worst In Me” which eclipsed nearly 33 million Spotify streams. On its heels, 2019’s 'Finding God Before God Finds Me' spawned “Dethrone” (21 million Spotify streams) and “Careful What You Wish For”. Along the way, they toured with numerous marquee acts and received tastemaker praise.

After their first headline tour was canceled mid-way at the top of the global pandemic, the band found themselves at home in Los Angeles with plenty of time. Where they absorbed and imparted a different palette of unexpected inspirations. Channeling what the frontman describes at times as a “cursive sound” they embraced newfound confidence and boundlessly loose creativity. Anything went in the studio, and all “rules” were broken. Noah and Jolly wrote, produced, and engineered the music themselves while GRAMMY® Award-nominated producer and songwriter Zakk Cervini (Halsey, Grimes, Poppy, blink-182) lent his talents with the mix and master. Challenging himself, Noah decided to “make a track sampling items around the house, none of which were musical instruments”.

This ultimately became the framework for the first single “THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND”. Claps puncture the icy soundscape as his voice stretches from a breathy moan into an evocative and entrancing hook, breaking from a whisper into the seductive chant, “It wasn’t hard to realize. Love’s the death of peace of mind.” It culminates on a climactic scream uplifted by a distorted crunch.

“The whole record really details the loss of peace of mind,” he explains. “The lyrics in the title track are a little more specific in terms of the conflict at the heart of something more intimate and personal.”

By speaking it aloud, Bad Omens offer a level of comfort and empathy, with a sinister shroud. At the same time, they also give rock music a sexy new shape on 'THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND'.

“Sonically, we want to do something you can’t arrive late or early too,” he leaves off. “You can’t cheat your way to the final act. You have to get on the ride and process it until the end. The songs are meant to be heard from start to finish. We want you to take the whole trip with us.”

Whiskey Myers Return to Red Rocks for Two Night Stand, June 14 & 15

Multi-Platinum Band to Headline June 14 & 15 With Support by Whitey Morgan and Ray Wylie Hubbard Plus The Record Company and Brent Cobb

Tickets Available This Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. Local Time via
WhiskeyMyers.com

Following a 2022 Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut that sold out in a single day, genre-bending renegades Whiskey Myers return to the iconic open-air setting for two nights this summer, headlining June 14 with support by Whitey Morgan and Ray Wylie Hubbard and June 15 with support by The Record Company and Brent Cobb.

Presales begin tomorrow, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. local time, with tickets on sale to the general public this Friday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. local time via WhiskeyMyers.com.

“An outlier of alt-country with more thrust, Southern cousin of the Black Keys or spiritual grandchild of Waylon and Willie’s Outlaw Country, Whiskey Myers is currently taking a regional movement global,” declared POLLSTAR in the cover story celebrating the band’s initial outing at the historic venue, adding “Whiskey Myers offers sobering pieces of broken lives that go unseen.”

“Red Rocks had always been a bucket-list venue for us, to the point where we didn’t even go see a show there as fans, because we wanted our first time seeing it to be from the stage as headliners,” reflects guitarist John Jeffers. “For our fans to share that excitement with us the way they did was a magical experience and we can’t wait to do it again – twice – this summer.”

Today’s announcement builds upon the anticipation for Whiskey Myers’ headlining 2023 tour, kicking off this Thursday, Feb. 16, with many dates already sold out. The tour comes on the heels of the band’s 2022 Tornillo Tour which played to nearly 300,000 fans in support of their critically acclaimed album Tornillo, praised by American Songwriter for putting Whiskey Myers “in a league of their own with their signature hard-rocking sound on full display” and released in 2022 via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records with distribution by Thirty Tigers.

Fans will also have a chance to see this signature sound live when the band supports Eric Church on multiple dates of The Outsiders Revival Tour this fall, with Nashville Lifestyles adding, “Southern rock is alive and well on Whiskey Myers’ Tornillo – and it comes with a brassy border-town swagger… Equal parts train songs, tenacious energy, and Tabasco… their lawless musicality burns like the sun.”

About Whiskey Myers
Genre-bending band Whiskey Myers have played more than 2,500 live shows to ever-increasing crowd sizes since their emergence in 2007. In addition to headlining their own sold-out shows from coast to coast at iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater and Ryman Auditorium, plus performing at marquee festivals Bonnaroo, Stagecoach, Download and more, the six-piece was also personally selected to open The Rolling Stones’ Chicago stadium show in 2019. Their latest self-produced album, Tornillo, available everywhere now via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records, features the No. 17 most-played Americana song of 2022, “John Wayne,” and follows their fifth studio album, Whiskey Myers, which debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts, at No. 2 on the Rock chart and No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart (No. 3 among new releases). In total, Whiskey Myers have sold more than 1.5 million albums and amassed over 2 billion streams while earning six RIAA Gold & Platinum certifications as an independent band. Known for their high-energy live show and unique sound, the band praised by Esquire as “the real damn deal” has also earned synch success with features (and an on-screen appearance) in Paramount’s hit show “Yellowstone” as well as Netflix series “What/If,” Angelina Jolie film “Those Who Wish Me Dead” and CBS series “SEAL Team.” USA Todaydescribes their sound as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin,” with Rolling Stone noting “it’s the seminal combination of twang and crunchy rock & roll guitars that hits a perfect sweet spot.”

Saliva's Single "High on Me" Reaches Over 1 Million Streams!; Announces Spring Mayhem Tour with Through Fire and Any Given Sin

Saliva's latest single "High On Me" debuted on the Rock Radio charts this past week and has reached over 1 million streams! The band announced the Spring Mayhem Tour with Through Fire and Any Given Sin that begins on March 17th in Amelia Island, FL at Saddler Ranch.

"High On Me" can be streamed/downloaded HERE

"'High on me' is about a day in the life of someone’s opioid addiction. Is it me or the drugs that keep you sticking around? The opioid epidemic is something so many struggle with and most never make it out the other side. I’ve had many friends die from it and it saddens me when I hear of someone losing that battle," says Bobby Amaru, vocalist of the band.

Saliva will continue to release tracks and ultimately a full album. The new music has a contemporary feel but sticks to the blue collar roots that their fans love.

After acquiring front man Bobby Amaru in 2011, Saliva became infused with new blood, energy, and spirit. The same energy launched Saliva’s career in 2001 with the release, _Every Six Seconds – a certified Double Platinum-selling album, containing the hits, “Click Click Boom” and 2002 Grammy nominated, “Your Disease.”Saliva’s in-your-face, anthemic writing style continued with a certified Gold-selling album *Back in to Your System_ with hits: “Always,” “Raise Up,” and the Nikki Sixxco-written, “Rest In Pieces.”*

Upon adding former Shinedown and Fuel bassist, Brad Stewart, as a permanent member, Saliva solidified their new lineup consisting of: Wayne Swinny, Sammi Jo Bishop and Amaru.

LEGENDARY CANADIAN BAND THE GUESS WHO IS SET TO RELEASE ITS NEW STUDIO ALBUM, PLEIN D‘AMOUR

The Guess Who is a legendary Canadian band who enjoyed chart topping hits in the late 60s and early 70s with an impressive catalogue of songs including "American Woman," "These Eyes," and "No Time." During the course of its career, the band has released 11 studio albums, all of which charted in Canada and the United States. The Guess Who is best known internationally for its 1970 album, American Woman, which hit number one in Canada and number nine in the United States, with five other albums also hitting the top ten in Canada.  All in all, the Guess Who boasts 14 top-40 singles in the United States and more than 30 in Canada.

Following its critically acclaimed 2018 recording, The Future IS What It Used to Be, the band is currently gearing up to release its latest creation, Plein D’Amour. Band members Derek Sharp, Michael Staertow, Leonard Shaw, Michael Devin, and founding member, Garry Peterson have crafted a collection of songs that raises the bar and continues to take things up a notch both musically and sonically.

The Guess Who is primed to take its stunning new music to even greater heights with its spectacular live show. The band is ready to start the newest chapter of its illustrious career in partnership with Deko Entertainment (ADA/Warner Music Group) commencing with the forthcoming release of Plein D’Amour. Bandmate Michael Staertow expressed it best when he said, “We couldn’t think of a better time to introduce the world to an exceptional collection of songs that exude positivity and cohesive energy, a much needed cultural antidote. Now we ARE love -- Plein D’Amour!”. Founding member, Garry Peterson continues, “After recording this album, and living with it for a while, I believe this is the best album that I have played on.” Deko Entertainment president, Bruce Pucciarello, comments on the new album, “This new song collection is a progressive-pop blend of well-written material and the musicianship is over the top. Decades later, this band still blows me away!”

Derek Sharp, songwriter and lead vocalist, says, “The King” is a nod to ‘all the king’s horses and all the king’s men, couldn’t put Humpty together again’ … however, loving kindness is a universal balm, which can not only put Humpty together again, but turn him into a Prince!

In addition to the first single “The King” the album Plein D’Amour includes seven more new tracks. The album Plein D’Amour was recorded at Villa Sound in Singhampton, Ontario, Canada, with Adam Fair.

Pre-save the new single “The King” here: https://ada.lnk.to/TheKing.

The Guess Who is currently on tour in North America and will drop the first video and single “The King” from its upcoming album, Plein d’Amour, on February 10. Stay tuned for more details coming soon--and be sure to catch the Guess Who when it gets to a city near you!

ABOUT NO/MAS:
The band dispenses a face-ripping combination of grindcore, metal, death, and thrash that would cut deep a decade ago or a decade from now. The Washington, D.C. group — Roger Rivadeneira [vocals], John Letzkus [guitar], Patrick Merson [bass], and Henry Everitt [drums, vocals] — engage an uncompromising sensory assault, barreling forward like a runaway freight train only bolted to the rails by deft riffing, explosive drumming, and vocal brutality.

After racking up thousands of streams and receiving acclaim from DecibelMetal Injection, and more, the band perfect this approach on their Closed Casket Activities debut, Consume/Deny/Repent.

"We wanted to make a record that was really riff-heavy and catchy," states John. "It has more old school influences, but it’s also modern at the same time."

"Thematically, we had specific things in mind, but the pandemic literally changed the world," adds Roger. "It went from being a more conceptualized album to music that references what we were going through. That's one thing we all agreed on."

Under the influence of everything from Slayer and Napalm Death to Wormrot, NO/MAS materialized in Washington, D.C.  They made waves with their 2018 full-length debut, Raíz Del Mal, which Metal Injection christened “one of the most intense releases of the year.” Meanwhile, Decibel added, "Every song on their latest album, Raíz Del Mal, is a nice little rollercoaster that tends to make its twists and turns around grind, black metal, D-beat and hardcore." In between dropping the Last Laugh EP in 2019, they graced bills with the likes of Exodus, Pig Destroyer, and many more.

Working with producer Taylor Young in Los Angeles, they sharpened this approach to knifepoint precision.

"When we first started NO/MAS, I came up with a mantra for what the band is about," the singer states. "We are against all forms of injustice. We want to bring awareness to mental health and the separation of church and state." In the end, NO/MAS remain inimitable in their beatdown.

ENTER SHIKARI Share New Single "It Hurts"

Enter Shikari are today sharing "It Hurts", the second single to be taken from their highly-anticipated forthcoming album A Kiss For The Whole World, which will be released on 21st April via SO Recordings / Ambush Reality. Listen to "It Hurts" on streaming services here.

"It Hurts" follows January's earth-shaking lead single "(pls) set me on fire". It brings with it a call to switch up our worldview and reassess the ways in which we judge ourselves - all in a flurry of race-to-the-finish-line intensity. Lead vocalist and producer Rou Reynolds explains:

"'It Hurts' came to me in a dream. Literally. Melody, chords, and fully-formulated chorus were all part of a dream that, thankfully, remained with me when I woke up. I was hiding under the duvet at 3AM, singing it into my phone, much to the bewilderment of my girlfriend.

Lyrically, "It Hurts" is about perseverance, and the importance of reframing failure as a fruitful and, in fact, pivotal route to progress. Society teaches us we should avoid and criticise failure, when defeat and honest mistakes can actually present us with insights that light our way forward.

In reality, we should be taught that simply to try makes us more than enough.

Pre-order A Kiss For The Whole World here. Limited formats of the new album come packaged with the Live From Alexandra Palace 3 album & DVD, recorded live in December 2021 at the band’s sold out 10,000 capacity London show.

Enter Shikari have also previously announced a run of very special album release shows across UK, Europe and the US. Taking place in May this year, the band will be playing 3 very special US show, hitting Los Angeles (5/03), Chicago (5/5) and New York (5/10).

More about Enter Shikari and new album A Kiss For The Whole World

As the calendar now signals three years since Enter Shikari last released an album - their UK #2 charting album Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible – it is useful to think back to the final question the band last posed fans: “Is this a new beginning? / Or are we close to the end?” Little could they know just how close to the end things would end up feeling as the events of the early ‘20s dimmed the light in the furnace of their live juggernaut, and connection to their fans. “At the time it felt like we ourselves, as musicians, were experiencing the death of our band,” says lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds.

Unsurprisingly, the key in the band’s ignition came in the form of a live show as they headlined the Download Festival Pilot in front of 10,000 fans. Where not a single new word flowed from the pen of Reynolds in the two years prior, a realisation was born that would come to define the band’s seventh LP: “I just didn’t realise that the human and physical connection to other people were so central to how I write,” he says. Enter Shikari isn’t just four people – it’s hundreds of thousands.

The album's lead single "(pls) set me on fire" sparked the next stage in the band’s evolution, and the first words we hear from Enter Shikari 2.0 don’t come in the form of a question this time, but a command: “Please set me on fire”. In other words, ignite the spark inside us and set us free. This may be a new Enter Shikari but they’ve lost nothing in their flair for bold opening gambits.

Reynolds comments on the single’s conception: "Honestly, I thought I was f*****. I’ve never felt so detached from my soul, my purpose, my f****** spirit. I didn’t write music for almost two years. The longest I’d gone before that was two weeks. I was broken. It’s almost as if my brain had asked: “What is the point in music if it cannot be shared? What is the point in writing music if it’s not to be experienced with others?” and then promptly switched itself off. ‘(pls) set me on fire’ grew out of that desperation. This song is a projectile vomit of positive energy. Every emotion trapped inside me for two years, finally set free."

It was in the Spring of 2022 that the band descended to the coastal town of Chichester, and a delipidated farmhouse, to rebuild their studio setup and capture their renewed momentum on record. Using only solar power to track the album – in what Reynolds says was to “bring back some sense of naivety” – the life-giving properties and Technicolor palate of A Kiss For The Whole World were made real. Reynolds continues: “Back to basics. This band - my best friends - bundled into an old farmhouse, miles away from anywhere. Off-grid, and ready to rediscover ourselves. This album is powered by the sun, the most powerful object in our solar system. And I think you can tell. It’s a collection of songs that represent an explosive reconnection with what Enter Shikari is. The beginning of our second act”.

BRAND OF SACRIFICE Announce New EP 'Between Death And Dreams"; Drop New Single "Dynasty"

Canadian deathcore wrecking crew, BRAND OF SACRIFICE, have announced the release of new EP, 'Between Death and Dreams' out on April 21st. To highlight the announcement, the band have dropped new single "Dynasty", complete with a stunning cinematic music video that has fast become their calling card. Listen to the track HERE. Watch the video below. Pre-Orders for 'Between Death and Dreams' will be live at 10am EST on Friday, February 10th HERE.

Speaking on the brand new track, BRAND OF SACRIFICE frontman, Kyle Anderson adds

'A big challenge for me this year was to bring in some different elements on the emotional spectrum into our music and lyrics, not just despair or anger. I wanted to express some of my personal story through this song. Dynasty is more uplifting - it's about challenging yourself to overcome your personal obstacles while staring fear in the face and, much like Brand of Sacrifice as a whole, becoming an absolutely unstoppable force.'

"Dynasty" follows the release of track "Exodus", the band's first new music in over a year, in November last year to much furore from fans. "Exodus", "Dynasty" and the upcoming EP mark the beginning of a new chapter of BRAND OF SACRIFICE. Maintaining their signature brutality and complexity, but upping it to a whole new level with a few surprises thrown in.

ABOUT BRAND OF SACRIFICE

Since 2018, Toronto-based deathcore quintet BRAND OF SACRIFICE have been imprinting their mark on the heavy music scene. Dubbed ‘The Branded Ones,’ the group’s fans joined and marched with them as they tore across the globe in support of their sophomore album "Lifeblood", which debuted on 8 separate Billboard charts and earned them a Juno nomination for Metal Album of the Year. Other highlights included slots on highly anticipated tours with artists like Spiritbox, Thy Art is Murder, We Came as Romans & more.

BRAND OF SACRIFICE have pushed the envelope even further with their next release 'Between Death and Dreams'. With production even more cinematic, exemplified by massive choral soundscapes, brutal breakdowns, and quite few surprises along the way, the EP is an exceptional evolution of their sound. Across their releases to date, BRAND OF SACRIFICE have hit 50 million streams and 10 million YouTube views.

The band draws its name from popular anime series Berserk by Kentaro Miura.

Fans at any BRAND OF SACRIFICE show will be familiar with set-closer “Eclipse” and its ending chant of, “Welcome to the new age.” With 'Between Death and Dreams', it’s evident the band have ushered in yet another, even fresher era from which there is no turning back.

The Plot In You Share "Left Behind" Lyric Video — WATCH

Ohio quartet The Plot In You — Landon Tewers [vocals], Josh Childress[guitar], Ethan Yoder [bass], and Michael Cooper [drums] — have shared the video for their newest single "Left Behind."

Watch it below.

The song is gorgeously mercurial — shifting from upbeat to pensive to ballistic — and it nods to some sonic inspirations. It's also lyrically introspective, as is expected from the band.

"'Left Behind' was inspired by old nostalgic bands and artists I grew up listening to," says Tewers. "I wanted to make something as a tribute to that sound and hopefully elevate it. It's a song about gaining back confidence and hope after cutting off a person that was draining and moving forward with a fresh perspective."

Last year, the band's 2018-released single "FEEL NOTHING" was officially certified Gold by the RIAA. The song is a digital success story that still streams over 2 million times and has enjoyed an exciting beyond-viral moment on TikTok. The track appears on the band's album DISPOSE.

The Plot In You will return to the road this spring on the headline "Watch the Divide" tour with Holding Absence, Thornhill, and Banks Arcade in tow. The tour kicks off on April 7 in New Haven, CT and runs through May 13 in Cincinnati. All dates are below.

It was a way for the members to expunge some negative things from their lives through their art. With this record,The Plot In You stared down years of negativity, soured friendships, disappointment, and mistakes and catalyzed those experiences into hammering distortion, towering melodies, epic production, and unapologetically cathartic lyrics. Sleep Signals Announce THE SINKING SHIPS TOUR: PART I & II; New Single "One Life" to be Released on February 17, 2023

Sleep Signals have announced THE SINKING SHIPS TOUR: PART I & II, which begins February 15th in El Paso, TX at Sun City Bar & Event Center and concludes on May 14th. The tour is in support of the band's new single "One Life" that releases to all major platforms on February 17, 2023.

Pre-Save "One Life" HERE

Tickets and VIP for the tour are available at www.sleepsignals.net

Resiliency. The trials we face in life define who we are. Sleep Signals has been no stranger to adversity throughout their career, having dealt with a plethora of misfortunes culminating with a devastating bus wreck in 2021. During a tour with POD and From Ashes To New, the band’s bus was hit by a semi truck, destroying all of their equipment and causing severe injuries to several members. But through all of the setbacks, the band has remained dedicated to sharing their story and bringing their unique perspective to the rock/metal genre.

Blending their ability to create strong hooks with their high-energy song-writing style, the band manages to meld influences ranging from pop to hardcore, creating a soundscape that leads the listener on a journey filled with raw emotion. When you hear a song, you feel the song.

After an extended hiatus in 2021, the band returned to the stage in late 2022 and immediately began selling out shows across the Pacific Northwest. In 2023, the band was back in full force, touring nationally supporting the release of a new single, “One Life.” The single is heavily influenced by the challenges the group most recently experienced and follows up the band’s 2020 radio single, “Fireproof,” that climbed the charts, landing on Sirius XM’s Octane and over 80 FM stations across the U.S.

“Sleep Signals embodies the same DIY hustling ethic that Ice Nine Kills has used since the beginning. Great songs, and a work ethic that is quickly making this band stand out" says Spencer Charnas of (Ice Nine Kills).

Alex Varkatzas (Ex-Atreyu) adds, “Seeing Sleep Signals' tireless work ethic and energetic live shows nightly, it’s only a matter of time before this band is a household name."

Fire Follows ADDS Tour DATE 3/17 Biloxi w/ Smile Empty Soul, Tantric - New Single "Say Words " out Now

"'If you’re looking for some new ear candy check out Fire Follows new single "Say Words"' ~Wayne Benson of

107 ROCK WBRR -THE GATOR

"Interesting vocal post-metal. The gloomy Atmosphere and the well-thought-out cover were very enjoyable. A powerful composition that captivates and catches the listener." - Rate It

"The dark grungy energy really fits my mood today. your guitarist went crazy with the riffs, the mix is well-controlled between all the high dynamics of vocals and guitars." - Rate It

Fire Follows' newest single "SAY WORDS" is a follow-up to Fire Follows prior releases "Shedding This Skin" and "The Puppeteer". Artist Chris Watt, the founder of Fire Follows, has been working diligently on a project that brings a sound in full round. Every single release is building on top of the other. The full impact is what Watt and his band will be bringing out on tour, from March 16, 2023, through April 2, 2023. Fire Follows will be on the road with Smile Empty Soul and Tantric (dates below).

Each single builds upon the other creating a power-metal force at each step! Chris Watt (Fire Follows) continues to team up with leading producers as he makes music he believes in. Following his last single "The Puppeteer" and "Shedding This Skin", we find the journey continuing to build now with "SAY WORDS". This isn't your ordinary convergence of metal parts - this is an entire mechanically and passionately working entity.

Writing/Tracking/Production: Chris Watt

Mix Engineer: Landon Hook

Mastering Engineer: Chris Henderson

ABOUT:

Fire Follows is the passion project of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Chris Watt. Located in Colorado Springs, CO, Chris does all writing and recording at his home studio... or probably more appropriately referred to as a studio home at this point. Since its inception in 2019, Fire Follows has continued morphing and evolving. Originally with just Chris, to the eventual involvement and contribution of outside musicians, and now swinging back to more of a solo project, the Fire Follows model is very fluid, and will continue to remain flexible as touring and new material will inevitably require contributions from other players. Chris's goal is very simple... get as many ears to hear the music as possible.

In Chris's own words, "There are roughly 8 billion people on the planet, right? So the goal is simple, get all 8 billion to hear the music from Fire Follows. I have no interest in making a penny from FF. These songs are literally pieces of my soul, and there is something so powerful about not only sharing that with the world but trying to create an experience that pulls the listener into the energetic space in which each song was created. I always encourage fans to listen to the songs multiple times as they are written in layers, and it takes multiple listens to really get the full effect and experience those layers fully."

Fire Follows is continuing to release new singles throughout 2023 and you will find them on tour with SMILE EMPTY SOUL AND TANTRIC.

ABOUT MINISTRY

Born in 1981 in Chicago, Ministry has been the lifetime passion project of founder Al Jourgensen, considered to be the pioneer of industrial music. In its early days, Ministry was identifiable by its heavy synth-pop material in line with the new sounds and technology that were being developed in the ‘80s. Ministry’s output began with four 12” singles on Wax Trax! Records in 1981 before the first LP With Sympathy in 1983 via Arista Records. As time progressed however, so did Ministry, quickly developing a harsher, and more stylized sound that the band soon became infamous for on seminal albums Twitch (1986), The Land of Rape and Honey (1988), and The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste (1989). With the release of Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and The Way to Suck Eggs (1992), Ministry hit an all-time high in the mainstream musical realm and received its first Grammy nomination. In total, Ministry has been nominated for a Grammy award six times. Eight more albums would follow before an indefinite break in 2013, only to be unearthed again in 2018 with AmeriKKKant, continuing to reflect Jourgensen’s views on the frightening state of society and politics. The band’s latest effort, Moral Hygiene, came out in 2021 on Nuclear Blast Records.

New Album, 'King of the North', Out Now

Order Your Copy HERE!

Upcoming North American Tour with Fleshgod Apocalypse, Obscura & Thulcandra Begins Soon!

Renowned melodic death metal band WOLFHEART has unleashed their latest and greatest creation with the official video for their explosive single, "Fires of the Fallen", taken from the recently-released full-length album, 'King of the North', now available via Napalm Records. 'King of the North' continues WOLFHEART's trademark sound, fusing colossal melodies, powerful vocals, emotionally charged lyrics, and relentless rhythms to create a masterpiece of epic proportions.

"Fires of the Fallen", the penultimate track on the album, serves as a fitting finale for the entire musical journey, and showcases WOLFHEART‘s exceptional talent in executing melodic death metal. With its devastating riffs, potent instrumentals and soul-stirring vocals, the song demonstrates their insatiable passion for the genre. The accompanying music video masterfully captures the intense and climactic energy of the album’s conclusion, immersing viewers in the pulse-pounding world of 'King of the North'.

With the release of the album and their recent European tour, WOLFHEART has proven time and time again that they are a force to be reckoned with in the metal world. You won't want to miss the band’s electrifying performance on their upcoming North American tour supporting Fleshgod Apocalypse and Obscura alongside labelmates Thulcandra!

Immerse yourself in the music as WOLFHEART takes the stage and delivers a truly unforgettable live show. Don't miss your chance - tickets are on sale now.

WOLFHEART’s statement:

"After waiting for 4 long years and having several tours and plans cancelled it is finally time to bring the Finnish winter storm to the stages of North America. There is no better way to start 2023 than being on the road in NA and with awesome company of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Obscura and Thulcandra!"

Discover distant realms of northern mythology with melodic death triumph 'King of the North'!

Each song on 'King of the North' is dedicated to a different story of Finnish mythology – underlined by WOLFHEART’s grand, crushing songwriting and production. The King, for instance, tells the tale of the forest god with horns and pianos accompanying heavy guitar riffs and solos, before raising the energy levels once more on the relentless Cold Flame” featuring Karl Sanders. “Ancestor” is the album’s most frostbitten anthem, unleashing WOLFHEART’s acclaimed brand of crushing blast beasts and cutting-edge vocal performances alongside guest Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage.

'King of the North' is a true masterpiece of melodic death metal, crafted with loads of attention to detail and intricate mythology-driven storytelling – showcasing WOLFHEART at never-before-heard artistic levels!

Tuomas Saukkonen on 'King of the North':

"After 'Wolves of Karelia', it made a lot of sense to continue writing thematic albums, but this time I wanted to travel a lot further in history than the Second World War and went straight to tales about creation of the Nordic world, ancient gods of the north and majestic nature. The colorful theme also inspired me to write the musically most diverse WOLFHEART album and also bring the biggest variation of vocals than ever before, putting Lauri and Vageliss in their well-earned spotlight."
