Canadian modern metal band OSYRON present an electrifying offering in their new single release, "Higher." Alongside the atmospheric track, the Canadians have launched their pre-sale for the forthcoming, self-titled, full length album. Osyron is scheduled for release on November 27, 2026, via Distortion Music Group (DMG) - Powered by Reigning Phoenix Music.

Building on the dense, melodic alternative rock of 2023's Violent Picture/Violent Sound, the band pushes further into the tension between heaviness and restraint, drawing from the weight and atmosphere of Failure, HUM, Shiner, Heatmiser, and Jawbox while continuing to carve out a sound distinctly their own.

Formed through Baltimore's DIY scene, Dosser have spent the years since their debut refining a sound built around layered guitars, driving rhythms, and melodies that emerge from beneath the noise. Across eight songs, Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake circles feelings of isolation, exhaustion, disconnection, and the search for something solid in a world that increasingly treats people as disposable.

The album's title came from an unlikely exchange with a suspected bot account that suddenly broke character and called the band "good for nothing, born for nothing, born by mistake." What began as a bizarre interaction quickly became an unexpectedly fitting metaphor for the record. "We felt like that was a good metaphor," the band explains. "How we're all born into a system that doesn't respect us. Then one day, it deems us obsolete and disposes of us."

Recorded, produced, and mixed by Jon Markson (Drug Church, Drain, Koyo) and mastered by Mike Kalajian, Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake captures Dosser at their most focused, balancing melodic immediacy with the urgency and tension that have defined the band from the beginning.

"We've had times when the sheer weight of everything, the noise, the expectations, made me almost consider changing up my whole life and escape to a quieter, more serene place. In this song, space represents this: an ultimate silence and isolation. A place with 'no rules, no gods, just infinite black unknown.' It’s about the desperate need to find a sanctuary where you can finally be free from the weight of reality, a place where you can just exist however you see fit. This place has been harder and harder to reach for me these past few years, and we think we're not alone in that.

"Some might read the lyrics and see a dark surrender, but we want the audience to see it as written from a place of hope. It's that feeling of being an 'escape artist with no hands,' trying to find a way out when you're completely backed into a corner. Ultimately, it's a very raw admission that sometimes, the urge to disappear isn't about wanting to escape the actual world, but simply trying to save yourself from a system that feels too loud."

Progressive Rock Duo DATURA LODGE Present A Psychological Thriller In Horror Inspired Video For "Hole"

Progressive rock duo DATURA LODGE delve into themes of regret and self-destruction through the warm analog comfort of David Lynch inspired visuals in the new release "Hole". Directed by Samantha Feyerabend-Muljat, the music video for "Hole" manifests in the form of a psychological horror as the protagonist spirals into self-sabotaging behaviors. The track is taken from the forthcoming, self-titled album set for release on October 2, 2026, via ARQUEN Records.

On the new release Nicky B explains the compositional process: "Musically this started for me with the small seed of the intro guitar and some effects I was playing with. It kind of fell together from there. One of the late additions to the arrangement that I am really happy with is the vibraphone in the bridge section. I was thinking specifically of the song 'Drifting' by Jimi Hendrix and knew Adam [Holzman, keys] would nail it since he had used similar sounds in his work with Steven Wilson. 'W' delivers an epic and emotional guitar solo that could not have been any more perfect for the song."

“W” adds: "This is undoubtedly the best song on the album. When we recorded this one, Ben proclaimed that 'this is the single!' Nicky B knocked it out of the park in the writer’s room and I think the band did a particularly good job handling the dynamics starting with the soft melancholy beginning and constantly building it up until it detonates with Nicky B belting the final chorus."

Director Samantha Feyerabend-Muljat comments on her creative approach:
"Since the band wanted to avoid a literal interpretation of the lyrics, I aimed to translate the emotional baggage into a tense, psychological mystery."

Emotional and captivating, the soundscape of "Hole" contains a dream-like atmosphere. The instrumental and vocals layers across the track are enveloping and immersive; they shut out the external world allowing one to become lost in their internal thoughts.

The band's debut self-titled album, Datura Lodge, is scheduled for release later this year via ARQUEN Records. 

Datura Lodge was produced by DATURA LODGE and Ben Karas. Tracks 1-5 were recorded at Frightbox Recording in Passaic, NJ, while tracks 6-9 were recorded at Frost Gauntlet Recording in Lyndhurst, NJ, all with engineer Ben Karas who mixed the album. The release was mastered by Andy VanDette at Evolve Mastering. The cover artwork for Datura Lodge was created by Samantha Feyerabend-Muljat.

Across the album, DATURA LODGE is joined by Adam Holzman on keyboards and Russell Holzman performing drums, with Ben Karas lending violin to "Stone".

Since the release of her debut, BOBBIE DAZZLE has rapidly established herself as one of the most distinctive new voices in UK Glam Rock, sharing stages with legendary artists including Alice Cooper, Sweet, Lita Ford and Thunder’s Luke Morley, as well as appearing at London’s Hyde Park with Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Along the way, the artist born Siân Greenaway has transformed her flamboyant alter ego into a fully realized musical world built on infectious melodies, theatricality, dazzling musicianship and unapologetic fun.

Now, BOBBIE DAZZLE channels that whirlwind experience into ‘Star Power,’ an album that expands upon the sonic and visual identity established on ‘Fandabidozi’ while introducing a little more grit and bite. The eleven-song collection was overwhelmingly written by BOBBIEand keyboardist Chris Dando and was recorded in the same studio as her debut, creating a natural connection between the two records.

Star Power' features several notable collaborations. Former Runaways guitarist Lita Ford contributes a blazing guitar solo to the closing track, "Feel It Too," while Pendulum’s Gareth McGrillen co-wrote and plays bass on "Snakes And Ladders," bringing an unexpected connection between BOBBIE’s glam rock world and the electronic intensity of drum & bass.

Throughout ‘Star Power,’ BOBBIE’s love of classic rock, glam, progressive rock and theatrical songwriting remains at the forefront. The album’s opening title-track picks up where‘Fandabidozi’ left off, while songs such as "Jack Rabbit" showcase her willingness to embrace the grand, elaborate arrangements of her influences. Her signature flute playing also remains an integral part of the sound, adding another dimension to an album that refuses to be confined to a single era or genre.

Chris Dando once again plays a key role in shaping the BOBBIE DAZZLE sound, particularly through his intricate stacked vocal harmonies, while guitarist Ash Baker and bassist Leon Smith, both members of her live band, contribute throughout the record and to its production.

At its core, ‘Star Power’ is an album about joy, escapism and the power of music to provide a world away from everyday struggles.

"'Landfall' is a song about imminent danger and the realization that we aren't in control," Wage War offer. "Referencing our Florida roots, the hurricane imagery became a way of talking about that feeling of being completely at the mercy of something bigger than yourself. Musically, we wanted the verses to feel heavy and threatening, with the chorus being somber and inevitable."

Wage War will return to U.S. stages for a headline tour this fall, with We Came As Romans, Varials, and Cane Hill as support. The "Emergncy Broadcast" tour kicks off October 25 in San Antonio and runs through Novemebr 27 in Orlando in the band's native Florida. Get tickets here.

Following multiple sellouts in previous years, Music Of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 return as exclusive vinyl-only releases featuring 21 original compositions written and recorded by Slash for the world-famous haunted attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood's annual Halloween Horror Nights event.

For the past eight years, Slash has served as the musical architect behind many of Halloween Horror Nights' most memorable haunted house experiences, creating immersive scores that enhance the atmosphere, suspense, and terror encountered by millions of guests each season. His compositions have become an integral part of the event, blending cinematic storytelling with his signature musical style to create unforgettable sonic landscapes. 

Among the featured material is Slash's score for 2024's Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, which spotlighted an all-female gathering of iconic Universal Monsters including The Bride Of Frankenstein, Dracula's Daughter, She-Wolf Of London, and the ancient Egyptian princess Anck-Su-Namun. Also represented is music from 2025's Scarecrow: Music By Slash, a haunting tale of nature's revenge where sinister scarecrows become agents of destruction against those who have wronged the land.

DUSTIN LYNCH ANNOUNCES SEVENTH STUDIO ALBUM CLEAN SLATE - AVAILABLE OCTOBER 30

MULTI-PLATINUM, 10x #1 hitmaker Dustin Lynch announces his seventh studio album, Clean Slate, arriving October 30 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. The 12-track collection is available to pre-add, pre-save and pre-order HERE.

Taking its name from the album’s introspective title track, Clean Slate finds Lynch looking at where he’s been, what he’s learned and where he wants to go next. Across 12 tracks, love comes into view from every angle: imagining the life you could build, recognizing the one worth coming home to, chasing a new spark, revisiting the one that got away and confronting the heartbreak that refuses to disappear at last call. There are nights made for cutting loose and hard-earned lessons that only come with time, all leading back to the possibility of clearing the slate and moving forward.

“There’s a lot of life on this record,” shares Lynch. “Falling for somebody, missing somebody, looking back at things you might do differently now, going out and having a damn good time, and figuring out what matters when everything else gets quiet. I’ve lived a lot of life since my first record, and I wanted this album to feel true to where I am today while still sounding like me.”

Lynch co-wrote seven of the album’s 12 tracks, working alongside Nashville songwriters including Zach Crowell, Justin Ebach, Josh Thompson, Jameson Rodgers, Brent Anderson, Hunter Phelps, Ben Johnson, John Byron and more. Production is shared across the collection by Ross Copperman, Zach Crowell and Austin Shawn, with MC4D producing and featuring on album closer “Home To You.” Clean Slate also features Ashley Cooke on “How You Been.”

Before Clean Slate arrives in full, Lynch leads off with “Made In A Bottle,” available September 4. Written by Jesse Frasure, Mark Holman and Geoff Warburton and produced by Ross Copperman, the straight-down-the-middle honky-tonk anthem is built on real instruments, real players and the snap of a full band. Against that high-energy backdrop, Lynch makes the rounds from bar to bar only to learn there isn’t a pour strong enough to outrun the memory of the one he lost.

“We started playing ‘Made In A Bottle’ live this summer and the reaction was immediate,” shares Lynch. “I love the energy of it and the rhythmic pocket in that chorus. You can’t help but move along to it. Production-wise, we wanted it to feel like you’re right there in the middle of our live show. There aren’t a bunch of studio tricks. It’s real instruments and real players, and it’s just a great honky-tonk song. We’ve road-tested it all summer, and it fits our show perfectly.”

The announcement follows Lynch’s Setlist Staples - 10 #1’s, a collection bringing together all 10 of his Country radio chart-toppers and capturing the songs that have become the foundation of his live show. Released August 28, the collection arrived alongside new RIAA certifications for “Small Town Boy” (5X PLATINUM), “Thinking ’Bout You” (4X PLATINUM), “Ridin’ Roads” (2X PLATINUM) and “Chevrolet (feat. Jelly Roll)” (PLATINUM).

AUDREY HORNE's latest studio albums Blackout (2018) and Devil’s Bell (2022) received critical praise internationally, and the band was even awarded a Spellemannprisen (Norwegian equivalent to a Grammy) for their 2005 debut album. San Antonio, Texas-based rockers KINGDOM COLLAPSE have unleashed the beast! The band has shared the video for new single "Victorious," featuring champion AEW professional wrestler and former MMA star Thunder Rosa.

The song is a high octane rager that comes out of the gates hard. The band deftly strikes a balance between aggression and melody, fearlessly toeing the line and kicking some ass. The video features Thunder Rosa doing what she does best — kick some ass. 

"'Victorious' is a signature Kingdom Collapse anthem that we did for our diehards," states singer Jonathan Norris. "Big riff, sing-along chorus, and a resilient attitude."

As for the accompanying video, bassist Aaron Smith says, "Since this one has such a motivational vibe, we invited our friend and AEW wrestler Thunder Rosa to be featured in the video. She's a badass so we knew she'd do a great job."

METAL ICON KAI HANSEN RELEASES NEW SINGLE "WAIT AND SEE"

With "Wait And See," Kai Hansen releases the third single from his upcoming solo album Born With A Hammer. Pre-order it here.

After the speed, freedom and rock 'n' roll spirit of "Welcome To Life," the new track turns towards the heavier side of the album and immediately feels darker, tighter and more intense.
 
At its core, "Wait And See" is driven by sharp riffs and a rhythm that keeps pressing forward, but there is also a subtle electronic pulse running underneath it. That slight electronic edge gives the song a restless, modern feel without taking away any of its weight. When the chorus opens up, the track finds the unmistakable mix of power, melody and bite that has always made Hansen's songwriting so distinctive.
 
What stands out most is how alive the song feels. Hansen is not trying to recreate an earlier era or to prove that he can still play this kind of music. The riffs, the small electronic details. and the directness of the performance all sound instinctive. The point is not simply that he can still make music this forceful; it is that he clearly still wants to.
 
That balance gives “Wait And See” its own character. It is one of the harder and more forceful songs on Born With A Hammer, but the electronic touches, changing textures and strong sense of melody keep it from ever feeling one-dimensional.

The release is accompanied by a new video built from footage captured during a trip to Slovakia. Away from the usual stage setting, it shows Hansen driving a Mustang, traveling through the country and spending time in the studio, offering a rare, more personal glimpse of the person behind the music.

Born With A Hammer was produced by Eike Freese, Kai Hansen and Alexander Dietz. The album was recorded with Eike Freese on guitar, Heaven Shall Burn’s Alexander Dietz on bass, Carcass drummer Dan Wilding, and Induction guitarist Tim Hansen.

Across 10 songs, Born With A Hammer brings together powerful heavy metal, punk attitude, hard rock drive and strong melodies. Following "Feeding The Beast" and "Welcome To Life," "Wait And See" makes it clear that the album does not follow one fixed direction, while still sounding unmistakably like Kai Hansen throughout.
 
Following the worldwide success of Helloween’s recent reunion era and its major international tours, Born With A Hammer sees Kai Hansen return his focus to his own musical world. His history is naturally present in "Wait And See," but it never weighs the song down. This is not a metal icon looking backwards; it is Kai Hansen sounding fully engaged with what comes next.

On the new single, bassist Matt Clarke shares:

"This song was us leaning hard back into the same influences as our 'Director’s Cuts' album. It’s got all those elements in it: bouncy riffs, some fast stuff and just lots of dynamics. We’re looking forward to playing this one on the upcoming tours…that start today. Australia now, North America in two weeks!"

He continues, "For the video, we wanted to do something a bit different to the other performance videos. We got a bunch of our mates to come down and hang with us. We did something that’s somewhere between serious and fun."
