Denver-based instrumental post-metal band ONLY ECHOES present the title track of their forthcoming full-length Born Adrift. The album is scheduled to arrive on August 14, 2026, via Braeburn Records.

ONLY ECHOES deliver "Born Adrift" with a striking impact. Wave after wave of intense heaviness brings the track's concept to life. Rhythmic shifts, catchy lead hooks, and uplifting moments not only provide movement but also a sense of anticipation. Shadowy passages feel weighted and inescapable but they are not dwelled upon without hope for too long. 

Alternating between light and shade, ONLY ECHOES deploy carefully curated changes in the track's pace as well as through their instrumental layering. The structure of "Born Adrift", while exploring periods of turmoil and relief, is emotionally complex as the music rises and falls before meeting an abrupt end. 

"Born Adrift" encapsulates key aspects of the band's sound that are also explored elsewhere across the album's track list. With this single release ONLY ECHOES demonstrate their darker side as this is the heaviest offering found on the forthcoming Born Adrift.

In August 2026, ONLY ECHOES will release their sophomore full-length album Born Adrift through Braeburn Records. Expanding on the emotional and conceptual depth of their previous work, Born Adrift explores the search for meaning through monumental riffs, ethereal atmospheres, and dynamic songwriting that remains both devastatingly heavy and deeply melodic. Swedish metal band ELEINE release their new single and accompanying music video,"Watch As We Rise," and unveil the artwork for their upcoming fifth studio album, 'The Water Taste Of Blood.' The album will be released independently on December 4th via the band's own label, Algoth Records, with global distribution through Sound Pollution.

Where the first single, "Empire of Lies," exposed deception and "We March" carried listeners through it, "Watch As We Rise" is the reckoning and the soundtrack to that empire's collapse. The third single from 'The Water Taste Of Blood' is the band's heaviest yet, built on chugging, in-your-face riffs and defiant vocals. It's a song about getting back up in the middle of the fight and burning the whole thing to the ground.

"'dark heaven' is a reflection on the contradictions of faith, and how something intended to unite humanity has so often been used to justify division, violence, and power. It's about the way greed can wear the mask of righteousness,' President say. "It isn't an attack on belief itself; it's about searching for something real beneath the noise, and asking what remains when certainty begins to crumble."

One could certainly regard "dark heaven" as a personal state of the union address from President. The track's seasick distortion drains into a buoyant 808-laden beat during the verses. The song goes for broke with a command on the pre-chorus:"Gather ‘round children, sing Hallelujah." A glitchy and detuned riff takes over, giving way to a powerful confession: "I used to stare at the cross and cry out for God, but I’m not the person I was."

The accompanying visual records the actual first reactions of various fans hearing "dark heaven" for the first time in a church. Their feelings spill across their faces, but it’s another magnetic anthem from alternative metal’s incumbent supreme leader.

"Blood Of Your Empire was born out of my own struggle with existential crisis and trying to make sense of belief, mortality, and humanity's relationship with faith," President says. "Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world — but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history. This album lives in the tension between those two truths. Writing it became a way for me to confront the fear, confusion, and questions I've carried for years, and turn them into something I'm truly proud of."

The album cover is a Eugène Delacroix painting, The Battle of Poitiers, which, consequently, hangs in the Louvre. 

Launching in 2025 and operating under the cloak of minimalism and anonymity, PRESIDENT have been cultivating intrigue with each single and live performance. Refusing to conform to the traditional structures of genre or identity, PRESIDENT prioritize intent over image.

Drawing from the traditions of Blues, Rockabilly, Goth rock and American Country, THE NOCTAMBULANT have developed their sound in an embrace of Southern Gothic. The forthcoming full length album Revival will arrive on September 18, 2026, via Terminus Hate City.

Deko Entertainment is proud to announce the release of Trapeze, the self-titled debut album from legendary British rock band Trapeze, arriving this October on 180-gram blue vinyl and limited to just 500 copies worldwide.

Originally released in 1970 and produced by John Lodge of The Moody Blues, Trapeze captured the band's early psychedelic and progressive rock sound before they evolved into the hard-rock powerhouse that would go on to influence generations of musicians.

Formed in 1969, Trapeze originally featured former The Montanas members John Jones (trumpet, vocals) and Terry Rowley (keyboards), alongside former Finders Keepers members Glenn Hughes (bass, vocals, piano), Mel Galley (guitar, vocals), and Dave Holland (drums). Following the release of their debut album, Jones and Rowley departed the group, leaving Hughes, Galley, and Holland to continue as a trio.

The band's legacy extends far beyond this groundbreaking debut. Glenn Hughes would go on to join Deep Purple and later be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the legendary group. Mel Galley would become a member of Whitesnake, while Dave Holland would achieve international success with Judas Priest.

“Burn My Boat” Adds Silver Sands Marina Vibe KENNY CHESNEY DROPS 3rd SONG July 31

It’s becoming apparent that Silver Sands Marina, Kenny Chesney’s 21st studio album and first for independent HEY NOW, sees the Country Music Hall of Famer hitting not just a new gear creatively, but connecting with fans on an even realer level. With “Carry On” becoming his 100th charting single and giving him the most Top 10s in the genre, the life-affirming midtempo summer anthem also struck a chord with radio as it became only the third song in history to close out all the reporting stations its first week.
 
As “Silver Sands Marina” established the power of one perfect encounter being enough, not clinging but appreciating what things are for the moment, the title track set a tone that suggests a map for how to live life as it comes, for all its worth, and with all the positive energy that’s defined his career. And on July 31, the East Tennessee songwriter-superstar will offer another taste of what’s to come on a project he’s personally labeling “an album.”
 
“Burn My Boat” starts as a ballad-leaning-midtempo strung across an acoustic guitar figure and his unadorned vocal, but quickly builds to a stunning crescendo that is thundering drums, a muscular melodic swoop and a triumphant sense of arrival. With an opening line of “This is one of those uncharted water things, never been where the grass don’t get more green… Think I love where I am,” the first track on Silver Sands Marina suggests that finding where we belong is a kind of freedom that is as much acceptance as it is actual location.
 
“This was always the first song,” Chesney says. “No matter how many sequences, adding those three songs, ‘Burn My Boat’ was the exact thing I wanted to say, and it’s in the chorus, recognizing ‘where I’m supposed to be’ is that sense of true arrival, knowing where you’re supposed to be. When you’re restless, and I am, there is no greater peace or freedom.
 
“Even more, ‘Burn My Boat’ wasn’t a song of surrender, but arrival. It builds and builds, like Lord Huron’s 'Ends of the Earth,' but what it delivers is what I think most of us are hoping to find. That line: Take this heart and light it/Send it up in smoke? It really is burning off all the things that distract us from what matters in this faster, harder, more world we deal with.”

Green Carnation Perform Prog Miracle on New Single “The Messiah Complex”

After reaching crushing new peaks and delving into the deepest, darkest and most personal depths of their storied career during its opening chapters, the Norwegian prog bards Green Carnation are ending their critically-acclaimed album trilogy with a bold and uncompromising exclamation.

“A Dark Poem is by far our biggest achievement since Light of Day, Day of Darkness”, Green Carnation vocalist Kjetil Nordhus. “Our new album trilogy returns to the epic storytelling that put us on the map back in 2001. SEA SLEEPER Release "Burden Of Antlers" With Guitar Playthrough, Launch Vinyl Pre-Orders For New Album Burden of Antlers

Ahead of their forthcoming second full-length album, Oregon's SEA SLEEPER present the new single and title track "Burden of Antlers". Accompanied with a guitar playthrough video, the band showcase their diverse and creative musicality. Burden of Antlers is scheduled for release on September 18, 2026, and is now available to pre-order on vinyl.

Contained within the collection of styles explored throughout "Burden of Antlers" are moments of untamable brutality. Describing the musical arrangement, the band state that "Burden of Antlers" "dances between tar thick mud and a clear crisp dawn morning lake." 

Lyrically, "Burden of Antlers" holds personal meaning for lead vocalist and guitarist Jesse Cooley. Notably, the band draw attention to the song's lines: “Your heart flashed with floodlights” and “But I’m here and I don’t care you gave them your blood and let them keep us as two”. 

SEA SLEEPER has refined the creative direction of their sound in Burden of Antlers. Leaning into the eclectic, 'weird', and, ultimately, heavy, the band focus on developing riffs and motifs across the track list, resulting into a more cohesive and thematically linked full-length offering. 

Burden of Antlers was recorded at Sleeping Studio by Jesse Cooley and Shane Cooley. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Jesse Cooley, with the cover artwork created by Johnny P.

With a passion for death and post metal, SEA SLEEPER infuse their heavy sound with an array of genre influences to produce something more dynamically extreme. Guitarist Eric Steckel Announces "Sandstorm" Out 9/11 + Shares "She's a Goldigger"

Internationally acclaimed blues-rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter Eric Steckel has announced the release of his brand-new studio album Sandstorm on September 11 via OPEN/SPV Recordings.

Insomnium Descend Into Darkness With "Gleam in the Black" Video
