MICHAEL MONROE Announces New Studio Album OUTERSTELLAR Set For Release February 20: New Single "Rockin' Horse"

Surprises are rare and wonderful. When music decides to just show up and strut and rock and roll and stomp with swagger, swing and raw energy all over you, that’s the rarest surprise and Michael Monroe does not disappoint with his brand new studio album, Outerstellar, set for release via

Silver Lining Music on February 20th 2026.

The first video and single taken from Outerstellar,

‘Rockin’ Horse’ is out now and can be watched/streamed

below – video by Leigh Brooks.

“Rockin’ Horse is a cool, rockin’ song that we made a great fun video for with the fantastic director Leigh Brooks,” comments Michael Monroe. “We got into different characters on the so called ‘Waking Up With Michael Monroe’ TV morning show with me as the host.

And it’s the first time ever you can see me without make up(!). Great fun and good times. Hope you enjoy it!”

What ‘genre’ is Michael Monroe?’ Oh, go and throw yourself back into the shoebox you restrict yourself to if you need a genre… How about ‘sweet smelling leathery sweat wrapped in one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll voices?’ How about ‘harmonies and vibes swimming in silk scarves and lounging on a beaten sofa in leather pants, with the AM hours alive and the melodies so, so intoxicating?’ And how about ‘attitude! Which screams carefree not carelessness, confidence not arrogance, a cocksure sense of

self-bathed in the sheer joy of playing the religious experience of real rock ‘n’ roll.’

From loud crashing guitars to harmonicas, to gorgeous acoustic moments, you’ll sing, you’ll dance, you’ll shiver, you’ll shake, and you’ll smell this wonderful exhilarating record in all its weathered biker jacket incense-coated glory and you’ll also realize that whatever the hell is going on in the world right now, when you put this album on, it’s an instant escape to carefree days and an emancipation from worries, fears and woes.

It is EXACTLY what rock ‘n’ roll in its truest sense is meant to be, and Michael Monroe is handing you permission to get lost in the love of it. In fact, just stop reading this, get off your ‘Rockin’ Horse’ and go see Michael Monroe on tour at your first opportunity! In support of the release of Outerstellar, Michael Monroe and band will embark on a UK co-headline tour with Buckcherry, kicking

off in Southampton on February 24th. For a full list of upcoming shows and tickets visit: michaelmonroe.com – more dates to be announced.

Outerstellar will be available on Limited Edition 12” White Viny, 12” Turquoise Vinyl, 12” Black Vinyl, CD Digipak, Digital Download, Streaming and special D2C bundles. Available to pre-order now at this location

DRAKE MILLIGAN ANNOUNCES BRAND-NEW ALBUM, TUMBLEWEED, OUT NOVEMBER 7 AND RELEASES NEW SONG “OLD FLAMES, OLD WHISKEY”

Critically acclaimed Country artist, Drake Milligan, announces a brand-new album, Tumbleweed, set to release November 7, and drops a new song, “Old Flames, Old Whiskey,” out everywhere now – pre-add/pre-save/pre-order and listen HERE. Produced by Trent Willmon, Tumbleweed will include 14 tracks that perfectly combine traditional Texas country, Western swing, and modern Nashville stylings, while showcasing Milligan’s timeless musicality. The title track, which was released last month, hit #12 on the UK Country Radio Airplay chart in only its second week. Milligan will be celebrating today’s announcements on the Grand Ole Opry stage tonight at 7:00pm CT.

Written by Brett and Jim Beavers, “Old Flames, Old Whiskey” leans into Milligan’s smooth baritone as he weaves a tale of memory, regret, and the trouble that comes when heartbreak meets a bottle. The new song captures the spirit of country’s golden era while firmly establishing Milligan’s place as one of the genre’s most compelling new voices.

Having been on the road throughout 2025 opening for Lainey Wilson, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, Milligan will kick off “The Tumbleweed World Tour” at his headlining show at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl on November 11, which will also serve as his official album release party. The tour will include all forthcoming shows including dates in Paris and Brussels in March 2026 and C2C Festival in Rotterdam, Berlin, London, Glasgow, and Belfast. Milligan is also announcing a pop-up performance at Ole Red in Orlando, FL on Saturday, November 8, a second show in the market as he’ll be onstage at the KIA Center opening for Lainey Wilson earlier that night. Attendees will get an intimate glimpse into his re-imagined show ahead of “The Tumbleweed World Tour.” For tickets and more information please visit drakemilligan.com.

TRUSTcompany and Smartpunk Records Team Up to Release "The Lonely Position Of Neutral" on Vinyl

A defining album for TRUSTcompany and the greater scope of rock music, "The Lonely Position Of Neutral" is a must-have record in the collection of any die-hard 2000s rock music fan who wants to hold a piece of history in their hands.  It is the band's most successful release to date, and was certified gold with over half a million copies sold.

The album was originally released on July 22, 2002, and after 23 years, Smartpunk Records has exclusively teamed up with the band for a special vinyl release of 2,000 total pressings, 500 of which are Smartpunk Exclusive. This is the first time the album is on vinyl, and it is available for purchase online now.

Order here.

Kevin Palmer, vocalist of TRUSTcompany, commented, "It’s wild to think that 23 years after its release, The Lonely Position of Neutral is finally available on vinyl. This record changed our lives, and we’re beyond thankful that it continues to connect with people all these years later."

Speaking about the release, Smartpunk Records Label Manager Matt Burns says, "This record, and specifically 'Downfall', created a core memory in my mind from when you'd discover new music on the radio. I remember in the early 2000s, I would find out about so many new bands from MTV or MuchMusic, but I got turned onto TRUSTcompany from our local South Florida rock station (shoutout ZETA 94.9)! I got tickets to see the band at the Halloweenie Roast, which also had  KoRn and I think Theory of a Deadman? Tickets were probably only like $30, but I remember the band blew my young mind away! I picked up the CD from a local shop shortly after, and to be able to work with the band over 20 years later on this release is so insane to me!"

CORELEONI - Live At Hallenstadion Zurich (out on December 12, 2025)

Swiss hard rock veterans CORELEONI, featuring members of GOTTHARD, are proud to unleash their new live album, Live At Hallenstadion Zurich, via Perception. Featuring a mix of classic GOTTHARD tracks and new favorites from CORELEONI’s latest studio album, IIILive At Hallenstadion Zurich documents a pivotal night in the CORELEONI saga.

One hot summer evening on July 3rd 2025, CORELEONI supported heavy metal legends JUDAS PRIEST at Zurich’s Hallenstadion, performing in front of 7,000 rock and metal fans. The show took the audience on a wild ride through classic GOTTHARD tracks and newer songs from III. An instant success, III had reached #2 on the Swiss album charts and found a place in the hearts of fans around the world. New tracks such as “Like It Or Not” and “Sick & Tired” became staple crowd-pleasers, right alongside beloved fan favorites such as “Sister Moon”, “Mountain Mama”, and “Standing In The Light”.

On Live At Hallenstadion Zurich, the band delivers nine songs in total and kicks off the show with two high-energy classics, “Downtown” and “Firedance”. “We wanted to go out and rock the shit out of our body”, explains guitarist Leo Leoni. Fellow guitarist Igor Gianola adds, “It seems we succeeded. The crowd was fantastic and we were able to deliver a great performance, as we wanted.”

CORELEONI’s energy and the audience’s passion electrified the show. “The night was fantastic”, remembers Leoni. “There was this special magic in the air, Zürich is always fantastic for us to play, but this was somehow a night to remember.”

The band also recalls fond memories of the bonds they forged with metal veterans JUDAS PRIEST, making the show a particularly notable highlight in CORELEONI’s career. “At the Hallenstadion we met Scott Travis on stage, who was there the whole show, and he spent some very nice words about our performance. He’s a great guy and a fantastic drummer, so we appreciated and proved our effort to get it right to the point”, recalls Gianola.

“It was an honour for us to support Judas Priest, they are one of the most important metal bands and I follow them also since I was a kid. It wasn’t the first time we played together, but especially in this location, it was like a mythos”, comments Leo Leoni.

Experience the magic of this unforgettable night right through your speakers or headphones.

About CORELEONI
Founded by guitarist Leo Leoni in 2018, CORELEONI started reviving the early GOTTHARD days successfully with their album duo consisting of The Greatest Hits - Part 1 and II. The band also convinced fans and critics alike with their high-energy performances all over Europe, making the five-piece write their very own material. The result titled III was finally released in early 2022 and saw the addition of gifted Albanian singer Eugent Bushpepa to CORELEONI’s powerful line-up, which is completed by guitarist Jgor Gianola (ex-GOTTHARD, ex-U.D.O.), bass player Mila Merker and drummer Alex Motta. The group’s latest record hit the official Swiss album chart at no. 2 and thereby cemented the high demand for their captivating craft. Of course, III guided the quintet’s way across the continent once again while making one thing even clearer: CORELEONI are more than just a studio band and need to be experienced (a)live to understand their vision in full. The Hirsch Effekt Announce Versatile New Album "Der Brauch" Out 1/30 + Share Title Track

Since their formation, The Hirsch Effekt have carved out a unique niche in the German-speaking music scene.

Yet, despite — or perhaps because of — their elusiveness, the band has captivated a devoted audience. Musically, The Hirsch Effekt have always embraced limitless possibilities. Acoustic, introspective moments — where bassist Ilja John Lappinbrings out his cello or guitarist Nils Wittrock returns to his classical roots — sit naturally alongside massive progressive metal onslaughts.

Today, the trio from Hanover, Germany, announced its seventh studio album, Der Brauch, out January 30 via Long Branch Records. At the same time, the band is giving fans a taste of the new work with the release of the title track.

Watch the visualizer for "Der Brauch" below.

Stream the new single and pre-order the album here

While earlier works, despite their diversity, were still labeled "metal albums," this new record explores paths first hinted at on the multi-layered second album, Holon: Anamnesis — the same album that fans of VISIONS magazine voted the only German-language entry among the 20 best albums of all time. Der Brauch can be seen as a return to that pivotal point — and simultaneously as a bold step forward. Drummer Moritz Schmidt doesn't entirely forego blast beats, but the record demands a new heading. In the end, though, there is only one truth: It unmistakably sounds like The Hirsch Effekt.

THE HIRSCH EFFEKT ARE:
Nils Wittrock — Guitar, Vocals
Ilja John Lappin — Bass, Vocals
Moritz Schmidt — Drums, Vocals

Excide Share "Call Box" Video

EXCIDE  Tyler Washington, Gill Gonzalez, Gage Lanza, Caleb Hogue, and Jacob Paris — will drop their second album Bastard Hymns on November 28 via SharpTone Records. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band unleashes "Call Box."

Watch the video below.

"'Call Box' was the 'click' moment for the record," says Washington. "Though it formed from a later demo, it's the song that most coherently synthesized every component of our desired outcome, and ended up being sort of the stencil we worked backwards from when in pre-production for the LP. I've referenced them previously but it's got ALL the goodies derived from our influences. The Cast Iron Hike-sort of grooves in the verses, the fuzzy Queens of the Stone Age bridge, and the HUGE ending that nods to the greats in Failure."

He finishes, "This song is Excide at its purest and best form to-date. No doubt a favorite on the record, and the perfect conclusion for it. It's my 'F*** you, thanks for the inspiration' song."

Bastard Hymnsis the logical next step from the band's debut album, Deliberate Revolver. "Having felt like we accomplished what we came to do on the first record, there were no guidelines or barriers around where we were to go next. This opened up so many avenues for our creativity and exploration. We were lucky enough to begin working with SharpTone the following year, which put the band back in gear and opened up new possibilities for the path forward."

Sonically, the band was inspired by the grooves and energy of late '90s post-hardcore bands such as Cast Iron Hike and Snapcase, while siphoning melody and textural elements much the same as Quicksand and Cave In. The band was not afraid to shift gears a bit and take influence from the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, and Failure, which, Excide admit, " allowed us to really push the sonic needle into uncharted territory, even further accentuated by Austin Coupe's co-writing and production."

Overall, the album is a "fuzzy, rocky, groovy, angry record. Seeped in the woes of growing up in a hillbilly hellscape, and living to tell the tale. The result wasBastard Hymns."

New Jersey experimental metal collective TOMBS is now streaming their new full-length, 'Feral Darkness,' in its entirety via Decibel Magazine! The album is due this Friday, October 17, via Redefining Darkness and you can now stream it HERE.

"Wrapped in Seldon Hunt’s cosmic decay and mastered by Andreas Rosczyk, Feral Darkness is an unflinching meditation on mortality, transcendence, and the eternal night that waits beyond the threshold," says Decibel of 'Feral Darkness.'

The band is not only returning with a new label, but also with a new sound! While 'Feral Darkness' still embraces TOMBS' black metal roots, it also explores the band's gothic, death rock side, creating the band's darkest and most haunting record to date!

The cover artwork was created by Seldon Hunt and can be found below.

Formed in 2007, New Jersey-based experimental metal outfit TOMBS blends bleak, post-punk minimalism with the ferocious attack of sludge and haunting goth rock. Mayhem Celebrating 25 Years of 'Grand Declaration of War'

No band embodies the spirit of black metal like Mayhem. In the wake of violence and scandal, the Norwegians set the standard for the genre with their canonical 1994 debut. Other influential acts were quick to follow in their footsteps, but these iconoclasts defied convention by making a truly bold statement on Grand Declaration of War.

"This record means a lot", its chief sonic architect Blasphemer told Outburn during a recent retrospective on the band's long since debated second album. "It built a foundation, not only for me personally, but it also built a new foundation for Mayhem".

Today, Season of Mist is celebrating the album's 25th anniversary with a special edition of Grand Declaration of War. Along with the original master, this sunburst colored gatefold LP includes new silver hot foil packaging, a double-sided poster and an embroidered leather patch.

"For Season of Mist, there was a before and an after Grand Declaration of War", says the label's founder and manager Michael Berberian. "This is probably the first true classic album we ever released, the one that put us on the map. And what an album. Talk about unexpected. Talk about daring".

The 25th Anniversary Edition of Grand Declaration of War comes out December 5th on Season of Mist.

Pre-order

https://shop.season-of-mist.com/mayhem-grand-declaration-of-war-lp-gatefold-coloured-red

On Grand Declaration of War, Mayhem continued to bow down for no one – even themselves.  The band were coldblooded as ever on merciless cuts like “A Time to Die”, but their arsenal of blast beats and tremolo picking was strengthened by an increase in command. Written in collaboration between newly appointed guitarist Blasphemer and vocalist Maniac, the album didn’t expand so much as it invaded territory that was then believed off-limits: spoken word (“View from Nihil”), trip-hop (“A Bloodsword and a Colder Sun”), soundscapes of doom (“Completion in Science of Agony”).

No matter how they choose to impose their will, after 25 years of Grand Declaration of War, there's still nowhere that Mayhem fear to tread.

The incredible rawness of the Deathcrush EP (1987) was followed by the still iconic and genre-defining De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas (1994), which featured devilish drummer Jan Axel “Hellhammer” Blomberg, who had joined in 1988. The vocalist on this album was the Hungarian Attila Csihar of Tormentor fame, who returned later in 2004 to take over from his meantime heir, the enigmatic original singer Sven-Erik “Maniac” Kristiansen. The latter was featured on the Wolf’s Lair Abyss EP (1997), which was written mostly by highly talented guitarist Rune “Blasphemer” Eriksen, who scored a massive artistic success with the highly controversial Grand Declaration Of War (2000).

Maniac - Vocals
Blasphemer - Guitars

AGNOSTIC FRONT (Featuring Darryl "DMC" McDaniels) Release New Single, "Matter Of Life & Death"

New York City offers a world of collisions of cultures, sounds, and attitudes; and the latest scorching offering from the city’s underground veins proves that this legacy lives on. Hardcore legends AGNOSTIC FRONT have teamed up with Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of RUN-DMC for a new single and music video, “Matter Of Life & Death” to reignite the flames of New York hardcore.

On "Matter Of Life & Death", AGNOSTIC FRONT and DMC prove that they have far more to offer than mere nostalgia. In a refreshingly modern take on genre-blending, the single charges into a snarling street fight between hardcore punk and old-school hip-hop swagger. Blasting out with razor-sharp riffs, thunderous beats, and DMC’s unmistakable cadence, the music hits harder than a Queens-bound freight train. Producer and New York Hardcore stalwart Mike Dijan keeps the sound raw and relentless, while director Blake Farber turns the video into a non-stop adrenaline reel. With mosh pits meeting boom boxes, fists in the air, and sweat flying off the walls, it's New York grit distilled into less than 3 minutes of pure energy.

In an era of overproduced and predictable genre mash-ups, “Matter of Life & Death” feels alive, dangerous, and necessary. AGNOSTIC FRONT and DMC are the perfect unlikely pairing: two giants from different musical worlds finding common ground in aggression, defiance, and their New York roots.

And this is just the 2nd shot fired, leading into AGNOSTIC FRONT's highly-anticipated upcoming album, Echoes in Eternity, dropping November 7th. If you needed a reminder that the spirit of crossover still has teeth, this is it.

About AGNOSTIC FRONT:
Founded in 1982, AGNOSTIC FRONT stand among the most esteemed pioneers of the hardcore genre. No band comes close in sonic and socio authenticity and sincerity, where the struggles of survival on the streets have quite literally given life to a sound that remains as impactful today as it was over four decades ago. AGNOSTIC FRONT‘s battering, socially critical sounds serve as the foundation of true New York hardcore and helped initiate the emergence of crossover thrash. Following a slew of pummeling offerings, the band, led by the inimitable roar of Roger Miret and Vinnie Stigma's legendary charismatic guitar playing, continue to showcase unapologetically honest lyrics and signature aggression in Echoes in Eternity.

DISSENTIENCE Unleashes First Single “Obsidian Tomb” from Upcoming EP Kaiju

Bethlehem, PA metal act DISSENTIENCE has released “Obsidian Tomb,” the crushing first single from their forthcoming concept EP Kaiju, due out February 20, 2026, accompanied by a brand-new lyric video.

A blistering blend of thrash aggression, death metal precision, and cinematic atmosphere, “Obsidian Tomb” serves as the opening chapter in Kaiju’s apocalyptic narrative. The song begins with a somber acoustic passage before erupting into a relentless assault of blast beats, crushing riffs, and haunting melodies. Lyrically, the track captures the first moments of devastation as a colossal, nameless monster emerges from the depths to annihilate an unsuspecting city.

Rather than grounding the story in a specific place or era, DISSENTIENCE leaves the monster and setting deliberately vague, allowing listeners to project their own fears into the music. The result is a track that feels as timeless as it is terrifying.

Kaiju is a four-track concept EP inspired by Japanese monster cinema and Lovecraftian horror. Produced by the band alongside Corey Pierce, the record was engineered by Matt Menafro at Peach Pie Sound, mixed by Zeuss, and mastered by Alan Douches. The full EP will be released independently on digital and CD formats.

About DISSENTIENCE:

Formed in 2013 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, DISSENTIENCE is a progressive death-thrash metal band that combines the technical precision of death metal with the relentless energy of thrash. Rejecting retro imitation and genre stagnation, the band creates forward-thinking metal that is both aggressive and dynamic. Drawing influence from bands like TRIVIUM, REVOCATION, SYLOSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEATH, and LAMB OF GOD, DISSENTIENCE forges a sound built on sharp riffs, crushing rhythms, and inventive songwriting.

The lineup features Connor Valentin on guitar and vocals, James Vitale on guitar, Sean Langer on bass, and Nick Scherden on drums. Known for their intense live performances and refusal to be confined to a single subgenre, the band continuously pushes their sound in new directions. Their music balances chaos and melody while exploring dark themes through a modern lens.

After releasing their debut EP Mask of Pretense in 2018 and their full-length album Empire Anatomy in 2022, DISSENTIENCE returned with the concept EP Kaiju in 2026. The record blends the devastation of giant monster cinema with the dread of Lovecraftian horror, showcasing the band’s evolution in sound and narrative depth. DISSENTIENCE has earned a reputation as one of the most compelling rising forces in heavy music. Their mission is clear: to make metal that is uncompromising, inventive, and unapologetically intense.

Your Inland Empire Spark on New Single "Grinding"

From the ashes of Crown, rises a shiny new banner for dark wave. On Your Inland Empire, the duo of Stéphane Azam and David Husser take the heavy electronics that they first donned on Crown’s last album a step further into the darkness of the club.

Today, Your Inland Empire are releasing “Grinding” as the second single off their upcoming debut album. Churning with pulsing beats, sparking riffs and shadowy bass lines, the song cuts straight to the album’s core, dancing between conflicting emotions and industrial decay, through the darkness and into the light.

Watch the video for “Grinding” below.

Your Inland Empire’ self-titled debut album comes out November 14, 2025 on Season of Mist.

In 2021, Crown’s The End of All Things revealed a striking metamorphosis. The album shifted the duo of Stéphane Azam and David Husser away from their sludge-laden origins into a cinematic fusion of industrial rock, post-metal atmosphere and darkwave sensibility. Its balance of bleakness and accessibility was praised for expanding Crown’s sonic vocabulary, yet the record ultimately stood as both culmination and chrysalis: the closing of one chapter and the quiet emergence of another.

That emergence is now complete. Your Inland Empire opens a new frontier with their upcoming self-titled debut album. “Grinding” pulses against bleak meditations on distance and dissolution. “I’m falling apart / In the void of my heart”, Azam sings, as if through gritted teeth, as he drifts through a haze of electro-shocked guitars.

“When writing music and lyrics, I often have very abstract visions — living paintings that I try to transcribe into sound,” Azam explains. “It can be colors, shapes, landscapes, people, all evolving in my imagination like a trance”.

The video for “Grinding” was directed by Brice Hincker & Amelie Diane. Your Inland Empire would like to give a special thanks to Philippe Dolfus and Olivier Guillemin for their collaboration and support on the video.

Irish singer-songwriter Ger Eaton heralds the release of debut album 'Season Changes'

Well known in his homeland thanks to a string of brilliant singles, Irish bard par excellence Ger Eaton is back with a large dose of Renaissance Pop. Finally, he will be releasing his long-awaited debut album 'Season Changes' via Dimple Discs, a Peckham-based label that has championed many Irish artists. In the home-stretch before its release, he shares the singles 'Hollow' and 'The Time It Takes To Fall'.

Ger Eaton is the singer and sonic auteur behind a remarkable and acclaimed set of songs, released as singles over the past two years, both on his own imprint and by enterprising indie label Dimple Discs, who spotted a good thing and snapped him up. An artist who has graced many a stage, his distinctive keyboards have graced many Irish bands of the last two decades.

With a rich progression from baroque pop and cinematic balladry to more folk elements, Eaton creates music that is laced with broad orchestral arrangements, drama, and honesty. Complimenting the video for his recent single 'Season Changes', a live rendition of 'Phoenix (Reborn)' and 'Season Changes' was also recorded live at Hyde Dublin.

"‘Season Changes’ is essentially an old fashioned break-up LP. All of the songs deal with the complexities, both emotional and physical, that come with the ending of a very long and significant relationship. Mirroring the seasons, ‘Season Changes’ charts the often inevitable decay of a relationship, from the glowing bloom of its Spring, gradually ebbing away to its wintery conclusion," says Ger Eaton.

"The songs were written about and recorded during the end of my marriage, and I decided from the off that the Lyrics would be raw and honest… I felt I owed that much to myself. Musically, I wanted the arrangements and instrumentation to bring a lushness and drama that would wrap the words in the appropriate Musical Cloak ...For me, music has always been a place where I can both lose and find myself… a Solice … my Phoenix."

Beginning with 'I Thought I’d A Friend' and continuing through the beautiful 'Hollow', 'The Time It Takes To Fall', 'Phoenix (Reborn)', 'Home Again' and the most recent single 'Season Changes', Ger’s work carries echoes of Scott Walker, Jimmy Webb, Brian Wilson, Ian Brown and the high melodic heyday of the late 1960s, yet shot through with a contemporary slant and edge.

Each new song and accompanying video has marked an exciting stage in Ger’s progress and has received recognition and tremendous support from national and regional radio programmers in his native Ireland and also in the UK, as well as music writers and tastemakers.

On October 17th, the 'Season Changes' album will be released on vinyl and CD. It will also be available from digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and also Bandcamp

On October 23rd, Ger Eaton and his 11-piece band take the stage at The National Concert Hall in Dublin, with support  from Andrew Keeling & vocalist Toni Kay.  Tickets can be ordered at https://www.nch.ie/all-events-listing/metronome-ger-eaton-oct25

Seattle's AudioGust battles the noise on new single 'Easier', an escape from news fatigue

Seattle-based artist AudioGust presents 'Easier', which explores the mental toll of living in a world overflowing with bad news. This is the second single from his third album 'Falling From Down' — his most unflinching yet — a journey through collapse, resilience, and the fragile beauty of survival. This arrives on the trail of the post-grunge lead track 'Isotope'.

Opening with introspective verses that capture the strain of living in a world full of overwhelming news and challenges. The refrain— “Some days, it would be easier if I didn’t know”—becomes a mantra for that tension between awareness and avoidance. Midway, the song bursts into a high-energy pop-punk bridge, imagining what life might feel like if one could truly escape the weight of it all, before settling back into reflective intensity, acknowledging that life’s challenges inevitably return.

“I wrote ‘Easier’ out of frustration with how overwhelming it can be to take in all the bad news every day. There’s a fantasy in the song about how simple life might feel if you just tuned it all out — but in the end, you can’t really look away. The world always pulls you back," says Chris Evans.

"Easier serves as the emotional and thematic centerpiece of the album, hinting at a journey through struggle, growth, and resilience that listeners will encounter in the full release."

An accomplished songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, AudioGust is Chris Evans, whose journey started as a guitarist and bassist in various 1980s bands. After a decades-long detour in the software industry, he has returned to his true passion - writing and recording in his own studio, releasing loads of music and collaborating with artists worldwide.

With powerful, emotionally resonant music, AudioGust is known for his ability to blend high-energy performances with deeply personal storytelling. He has released over four dozen songs across multiple albums and EPs, including his debut 'Walk With Me', follow-ups 'Hope from Darkness' and 'Love and Pain', and his second album 'Here We Go Again', released earlier this year and exploring the highs and lows of creativity, and the unpredictable nature of inspiration.

The coming 'Falling From Down' album showcases a harder-edged post-grunge and modern rock sound while retaining the melodic hooks and storytelling that have become his signature. Combining raw rock intensity with strong melodies and emotionally resonant lyrics, AudioGust's tracks are full of energy and memorable hooks, reflecting both a deep understanding of rock’s past and a fresh, contemporary approach. His songs resonate long after the last note fades.

Crafting memorable melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, upbeat rhythms and arrangements, AudioGust's music speaks to the disenchanted and dreamers alike through sonic explorations of the modern human condition. AudioGust was also a finalist in the 2024 USA Songwriting Contest. Writing hooky anthems, AudioGust creates a sound vortex imbued with 90’s to 2000’s alt-rock, his guitar-driven music brings in a strong, driving rhythm section, big choruses and even bigger bridge sections.

'Easier' is out now, available from online music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp. The 'Falling From Down' album will be released on November 7.

The Belair Lip Bombs Release New Single Back Of My Hand

The Belair Lip Bombs release “Back of My Hand,”  the third single/video from their new album, Again, out October 31st via Third Man Records.

The song undulates with an easygoing rhythm before bursting into Weezer-style guitar riffs on its heart-in-hand chorus. It’s another instance of the band’s total sincerity as Maisie implores a romantic connection to trust in the strength of their connection.

“Writing the lyrics was an up-and-down process,” Maisie explains. “I wrote the second verse first, the night I got home from the rehearsal where we wrote the song. I got a bit stoned and laid in bed with a notepad and a pen and the lyrics and the melody kinda just poured out of me, which pretty much never happens, so I guess it was a fluke.”

Blackshape Release New Track "Falling" and Official Visualizer via Papercut Recordings

Atmospheric post-metal outfit BLACKSHAPE have dropped their latest offering "Falling" and the surreal accompanying visualizer (via Papercut Recordings). Rife with soaring, expressive guitar melodies interlaced with menacing beats, "Falling" is taken from the band's forthcoming new EP 'Prismer I', set for release on October 24. Speaking about today's release, the band commented:

'Falling' captures the tension at the heart of [our] sound—the pull between making music [that is] heavier and more abrasive, and at the same time more beautiful. An intense instrumental journey, “Falling” speaks for itself while setting the stage for its vocal-driven sister song on [our] upcoming record, 'Prismer I'".

Stream "Falling" here, watch the official visualizer below, and pre-save 'Prismer I' here.

ABOUT BLACKSHAPE

Haunting, intricate, and emotionally brutal, BLACKSHAPE create music that lives in the shadowed space between chaos and clarity. Their compositions stretch across post-metal, math rock, and ambient minimalism—twisting tension and release into something visceral and cinematic. For fans of sonic unease, dramatic builds, and songwriting that lives outside the lines.

Making Prismer IBLACKSHAPE’s new record, pushed the band to their breaking point. The process became their prison, a crucible of relentless personal and creative pressure. But the music was a prism—refracting that pressure into something beautiful, harrowing, and cathartic, and ultimately reshaping their perspective in the very act of making it. The title reflects this duality, capturing both the burden of confined thinking and the liberation in breaking it apart. Like a prism splitting light, every experience expands perspective into countless paths, showing that escaping the prison of one view means embracing the full spectrum: beautiful, ugly, terrifying, and freeing. This is Prismer.

But don’t worry as Swiss based hard rock quintet CORELEONI have come to deliver the perfect antidote for everyone.

https://coreleoni.rpm.link/zurichlivePR

This is probably the heaviest track on our latest record III, where the vocal parts reach some of the highest tones of the album. The crowd in Zurich pushed us to the point where we and especially Gent delivered 110% of the magic we had to give. This becomes very clear when listening to this recording,” states guitarist Jgor Gianola.

Leo Leoni adds about the original intention behind the track: “It’s a great song with a lot of energy that helps you when you’re ‘sick and tired’ of things you wanna get rid of. Then the guitar riff kicks in and the rock ‘n’ roll spirit brings back the positive vibes.

Watch the official visualizer video below.

Live at Hallenstadion Zurich was recorded on July 3, 2025 at their show supporting the mighty JUDAS PRIEST and comprises 9 electrifying tracks. Including both covers of the rich GOTTHARD catalogue and tracks from III, CORELEONI’s first original effort which came out in early 2022, this new recording is essential rock ‘n’ roll: raw yet heavily rocking.
