SOUNDCHECKS AND TAPE DECKS = Old School Intro to Supergroup Rosie & the Revival

SOMEWHERE ON THE ROAD – Nobody thought anything about an album, or writing new material. They didn’t even realize when they started blasting through rock, pop, old country and songwriter classics they were sowing the seeds of a band that’s equally funky, gleaming, blazing and joyous. But that’s what happened when extended soundchecks turned into jamming in the off hours, getting together to lay some tracks down turned into writing songs.

And now there’s Rosie & the Revival. Six musicians, all singular creative specialists on their own. Together, they’re a musical force to reckon with. Wyatt Beard, Nick Buda, Jon Conley,  Kenny Greenberg, Harmoni Kelley, and Danny Rader have played in enough bands, they recognized the alchemy, moving from playing everyone’s favorite songs to writing their own. Rather than keep it to themselves, they decided to hunker down and capture the chemistry.

Soundchecks and Tape Decks is the sum of all that. Five covers, including AC/DC’s band-naming “Whole Lotta Rosie,” six originals from a band who has recorded and toured with artists including GRAMMY-winners Bonnie Raitt, Shelby Lynne, Willie Nelson, the Allman Brothers, Chris Stapleton, Steve Earle, Merle Haggard and Taylor Swift. Designed to create a song cycle that delivers on the Revivals’ vast experience and set of influences, the collection also evokes a time when freeform album rock radio was a place where people could hear all kinds of music tied together by a certain creative intention.

“We didn’t think about making a record,” recalls keyboardist/vocalist Wyatt Beard. “We’ve all played in all kinds of groups, and sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s great. But this was something very different…”

“It was really a way to have fun when we were doing soundchecks with Kenny Chesney,” continues guitarist/producer Kenny Greenberg. “We were in Tampa a few years ago, and just started calling out songs. Suddenly, we’d been there almost two hours. Everyone up here takes music very seriously, but this was just a blast. And the more we did it, the more fun we had.”

“We can play a lot of different things,” adds multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Jon Conley. “But at our core, Soundchecks and Tape Decks is who we are as musicians, writers, producers. Writing for this turned out to be great, it really focused us as a band. But getting to record songs by everyone from Tom Petty to the Meters to the Stones? When you can find that kind of musical alignment, you start to really understand the engine that drives this band.”

Like the Eagles, whose “Already Gone” is included and who coalesced as Linda Ronstadt’s backing band, Rosie & the Revival came together touring with Kenny Chesney, whose own form of rock-steeped country has become a sound and place all its own. Working together on some of America’s biggest – and most intimate – stages creates an almost telekinesis that lets them hairpin-turn almost reflexively. That freedom and torque is all over Soundchecks.

To celebrate the release of this stellar group’s debut, No Shoes Radio aired an exclusive interview with the band earlier this week announcing the project, with album tracks “Just Getting Started,” “Wait A Minute” and “Keep It Coming” in regular rotation on the channel all week. With a release date that coincides with Chesney’s tour closing, three nights at Gillette Stadium, it’s also one more reason to celebrate.

Philadelphia's ROCKERS GALORE bring sun-soaked vibes on ‘Sweet Sensei’, previewing debut album

"'Blood In The Sand' stuns with its meticulous craftsmanship. Crowned with a smooth and captivating rhythm, this music boasts an extremely unique feel, seamlessly blending a one-of-a-kind melody with a groove that’ll lock you in" ~ Amplify Music Magazine

"A sonic embrace of the tropics... a potent blend of Marley's optimism, Black Uhuru's raw energy, and Steel Pulse's conscious lyrics, creates a hypnotic soundscape that transports you to a white-sand beach, the salty breeze carrying the infectious beat into your soul" ~ The Spill Magazine

Philadelphia reggae-hip hop collective Rockers Galore presents 'Sweet Sensei',  a summer anthem that's pure sunshine in sonic form and the latest taster of their debut record 'Vamos a la Playa'. This collaborative track was inspired by the love of music and sinsemilla, nature's elixir and bringer of verdant euphoria. Fusing musical talents and cultural influences, Rockers Galore takes us on a journey through sound and storytelling, celebrating the power of collaboration and the enduring allure of sinsemilla.

"Tracing the origins of sinsemilla, 'Sweet Sensei' was inspired by Iya Terra's song 'Real Sensi'. Adam came up with a great guitar melody when we started writing this song. We ended up crafting the beat around it, explains Blayer Point du Jour.

"I wanted to write about the origins of sinsemilla, which grows all over the world. I mentioned Haiti and Peru because I am Haitian and Adam is Peruvian. We hope to visit Peru soon. I created the drum and bass parts. Adam wrote a great guitar melody. Michael created the final drum tacks.  Once we started jamming, we eventually crafted the song around the guitar. Oxana laid down some amazing piano. We went to Milkboy the Studio and worked with Tommy Joyner. Talia added some amazing vocals to the track. It was great to work with her again."

The 'Sweet Sensei' video arrives on the trail of their invigorating single 'Blood In The Sand', featuring Philadelphia guitarist Joe Jordan (Oxymorrons, Pure Hell, JJX) and a passionate Spanish-language spoken word performance by Sydelle Prosopio.

This new single and most of the album tracks were recorded, mixed & mastered at Milkboy the Studio by Tommy Joyner (of Digable Planets), who has overseen recordings by James Taylor, Dave Matthews and Miley Cyrus, among many other notable artists. 'Blood In The Sand' is the excption, being mixed & mastered by Arik Creep at Creep Records Studio.

Founded in 2008 by multi-instrumentalist Blayer Point du Jour, Rockers Galore began as a solo project, transforming into a songwriting partnership with guitarist Adam Benites and gradually involving other passionate and visionary artists. With a fantastic and infectious fusion of old-school funk and brand-new spunk, they cleverly blend roots, hip hop, reggae, rock, Haitian kompa music and Latin rhythms. Since releasing their debut 'Port Au Prince' EP in 2011, they have released numerous singles and EPs

Truly a labor of love, their forthcoming 'Vamos a la Playa' album is the product of four years of songwriting, rehearsals, pre-production and arrangements. From initial sketches through to full realization, the tracks found on this album eventually crystallized in a professional studio, where the final recordings were completed and ultimately mixed and mastered.

Blayer Point du Jour explains, "For this album, we took our time and waited until we felt inspired to write. This is a mix of rhythms we enjoy playing. We aim to honor our diverse backgrounds in music and create a new sound that people have not heard before. We believe this is our best work to date. I grew up with a lot of first-generation Americans. We all came from different backgrounds but we learned to respect each others’ cultures. I try to mix the genres in an effort to bring everyone together.”

'Sweet Sensei' is out now, available from fine digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp, where 'Blood In The Sand' can also be found. The full 'Vamos a la Playa' album will be released on September 13.

Singer/Songwriter Julie Williams Releases "just friends?"; New EP 'Tennessee Moon' Set for Release 10/17

CMT Next Women of Country Julie Williams carries her mixed-race heritage and queerness as proudly as she carries her music. Raised in Florida, Williams has been turning heads in Nashville’s country and Americana music scenes with her compelling mix of storytelling, soft-yet-powerful vocals, and indie folk production. She continues down that creative path with the release of her new track “just friends?” available now. The video for the song will make its world premiere this Monday, Aug. 26 in Times Square via CMT.

The latest from Williams, a blend of both classic country storytelling and queer reflection, is the first taste of new music from her upcoming indie folk project, Tennessee Moon, set for release Oct. 17, 2024. Listen to “just friends?” Below  and pre-save Tennessee Moon HERE.

“I was inspired by my friend and fellow Black Opry artist, Denitia and her song ‘Old Friend’ to write this one,” shares Williams. “Hearing her sing it night after night on tour, I began reflecting on some friends that I am not in contact with anymore and questioned why the ending of those friendships felt like breakups.”

Williams continues, “I am now a confidently-out bisexual woman, but at the time of those friendships, I did not know myself fully. Knowing who I am now, the song is a reflection about those relationships and would they have ended differently. I wanted to capture both the sadness of nostalgia and the beautiful confusion of young love that comes with discovering one’s identity.”

Produced by Jonathan Smalt and written by Williams with Melody Walker, the track is a nostalgic queer story about realizing you once had romantic feelings for an old friend that gives the listener the feeling of traveling down a winding road at sunset reflecting on a lost love driven by a dancing pedal steel, banjo, acoustic guitar, and classic country percussion.

For Tennessee Moon Williams was inspired by some of her favorite singer/songwriters like Boy Genius, Kacey Musgraves, Allison Krauss, Emmylou Harris and Taylor Swift to create a story-driven sonic journey that was both dreamy and moody while seamlessly blending  country, 90s folk and indie production elements.

“Tennessee Moon was inspired by a picture that I took of one of my exes as they kayaked at Percy Priest lake under a stunning Tennessee sunset,” shares Williams. “I watched this person - and our relationship - float farther and farther away from me, just as the sky was fading from orange and red to blue and gray. With that picture, and with this EP, I wanted to capture that wistful feeling - of trying to hold onto a beautiful, golden moment that you know in your heart is not going to last. This EP is an ode to my mid-20s - all the golden days, the dark nights, the flowers, and the dirt.”

In support of the forthcoming EP, Williams will celebrate with a release show at Nashville’s Blue Room on Nov. 7. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Aug. 23 at 10 am local time. To purchase, visit thisisjuliewilliams.com

No stranger to performing, Williams has built her career on the road playing over 120 shows in 26 states in the past two years and captivated audiences at festivals such as Newport Folk Festival, CMA Fest, Tortuga Music Fest, High Water Festival, Cayamo, and AmericanaFest. She has also shared the stage with acts across genres, including Jason Isbell, Allison Russell, Mt. Joy, Devon Gilfillian, Brittney Spencer and Will Hoge.

Music has always been a part of Williams’ life - honing her singing talent in church and beach bars and belting national anthems before packed stadiums. She grew up listening to everyone and everything from The Chicks and James Taylor to Gladys Knight and Michael Jackson. Even though she was drawn to the storytelling of country music, she never quite found the sound that spoke to everything she was: Black, white, Southern, a woman, hopeful, truthful. So naturally, it was up to Williams to make this sound. “My music is mixed like me,” is how she describes it, “I want to tell the stories that need to be told.”

The Florida native started sharing those stories, and people listened. A student at Duke University, she was signed to Small Town Records whose alumni include Mike Posner and Delta Rae and sang as a vocalist for the Duke Jazz Ensemble. After graduating with a public policy degree in 2019, she moved to Nashville and found her musical home in the Black country and Americana scene. She was named in Rissi Palmer’s Color Me Country Class of 2021 and she was featured in a “PBS NewsHour” special on Black women in country music. In 2022, Julie joined the Black Opry, a collective of Black artists in country, blues, folk, and Americana music. Julie was named a CMT Equal Access artist in 2023, joining the mTheory backed program to support marginalized voices in country music.

“People want to hear black voices, black stories,” Williams says. “I was nervous about how my songs would be received by Nashville - but people want honesty. They want honest songs about real life, and for the artists they follow to take a stand.”

Tennessee Moon follows her self-titled EP, Julie Williams, with American Songwriter praising her “success through the power of her own voice” and the Tennessean noting she “discovers joy, maturation” on the project.

An activist at heart, Williams launched Green Room Conversations in March 2023, a series of performances and speaking on college campuses to raise awareness of sexual harassment in the music industry and her own experience with sexual violence. Williams  hopes to empower the next generation of artists and industry changemakers and has already visited MTSU, University of Texas-Austin, and Duke with more campus visits planned for later this year.

“I’m writing my songs for the girl who cries in the shower as she tries to detangle her hair and is afraid to look in the mirror because she hates what she sees; for the 17-year old who is just now learning to love herself; for the 20-or 30-something who is just trying to figure it out," shares Williams. "That’s who my songs are for.”

NYC's Crash Harmony unveils 'Velour Goddess', breaking 30+ year hiatus with debut album (via Magic Door Records)

"A blast of youthful exuberance, raw energy, and unbridled optimism... both nostalgic and fresh. There’s the Replacements’ raw, garage-rock spirit, the Northern Pikes’ innocence and purity, and hooks like a cross between Husker Du and The Go-Betweens, blended into a harmonious concoction that is undeniably their own" ~ The Spill Magazine

NYC indie rock outfit Crash Harmony presents 'Velour Goddess', the first taste of their debut record 'No One Asked For This', to be released via Magic Door Record Label. Returning after a 30+ year hiatus, the quartet are back with a full-length album of 10 songs, for which they worked with celebrated producer Ray Ketchem (Guided by Voices, Elk City, Gramercy Arms, Luna) at Magic Door Recording in Montclair, NJ.

Crash Harmony is made up of Dave Derby (vocals, guitars), Mike Potenza (guitars, keyboards, vocals), Jon Nighswander (bass, vocals), and Nils Nadeau (drums, percussion, vocals). Formed in 1986 at Yale University in New Haven, CT, the band played its last gig in May 1988 and hadn’t played together again until beginning to record this album in 2022.

If you were fortunate enough to ever be part of a vibrant music scene, then you know how intoxicating, how important, how finally cool you felt to live on this newly discovered planet. It was pulsing with energy and possibility, teeming with talent and artists and then, the jaw drop of realizing your planet was actually part of an entire galaxy of scenes vibrating around the country. A truth revealed that rock legends were not just the leather-pantsed strutters on the national stage but dishwashing oddballs strumming in your neighbor's backyard - heroes you could actually meet, try to impress, emulate and maybe one day open for, if dreams could come true. And, for Crash Harmony, they did for a while.

Yale rock - an oxymoron too good to be dismissed, meeting as undergraduates swept up in the current of something more exciting than college – a New Haven music scene that was real. While college was for figuring out what you wanted to be, college rock was for figuring out what you wanted to sound like. Crash Harmony was absorbing everything, and trying it all on for size at house parties, frat houses, and clubs throughout New England.

Nevermind, doesn’t matter, band over. Life happens. Real jobs, other bands. Dave went on to The Dambuilders (and then Gramercy Arms), Mike served on The Anderson Council, Jon left for Europe, and Nils wandered north. But no matter where they went, Crash Harmony still kind of mattered. Eventually, they had to come back. They had to return to that place so, decades later, Crash Harmony reformed to make a new record of old songs - a rock-and-roll reenactment of the New Haven scene that changed them forever.

Like their name, the record is an orchestrated pileup of long-ago influences that collided in the chambers of their broken young hearts and have again wriggled free from their throats and amps, pop gems humming like cicadas and dancing for the pure joy of being alive again.

"Dave and I initially bonded over anglophilia, including a shared love of The Jam, cockney slang and alcohol. I came out of the New Hampshire punk scene and was a founding member of Five Balls of Power (other members went on to join such bands as Dropkick Murphys, Scissorfight and the Radicts). Dave and Nils both were willing to play around with different styles and a level of musicianship that was a notch above the average college band," says Jon Nighswander.

Dave Derby adds, "Nils and I had been in a successful indie pop band. I wanted to create something that was both heavier and more psychedelic in that 80s college radio Paisley Underground sort of way, but then we recalibrated towards more of a 70s vibe. We tried really early on to align ourselves with the New Haven scene and not just the Yale one."

For Crash Harmony, it’s all so clear now – how lucky they were to have been part of a scene and to have met and grown up in ideal conditions to make music that would somehow find a way to live forever... Everybody, kiss your ghost.

'Velour Goddess' is available everywhere digitally, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp, where the 'No One Asked for This' album is also available for pre-order. Out October 18, it will be released both digitally and on vinyl via the Magic Door Record Label.

OCEANS OF SLUMBER Reimagine "The Given Dream"

The dark cinematic metal band's new single defies any and all conventions

"One of modern metal's brightest hopes" - Metal Hammer

"A band that nails a unique balance and has the potential to do whatever they want" - Angry Metal Guy (4/5)

"Masterful compositions that reveal more secrets with each listen" - Metal Injection (9/10)

"Dark, turbulent, and above all, incredibly emotional" - New Noise (4/5)

"They are the new Southern gothic, and you need to pay attention" - Distorted Sound (9/10)

"This band is truly something special" - Ghost Cult (8/10)

Though revered by critics and peers, Oceans of Slumber bow to no one. For more than a decade, the Houston band have spurred prevailing trends in both the metal scene and the American South. Instead of adhering to conventional wisdom or slapping a new coat of paint on the same old ideas, they've remade the Southern Gothic in their own progressive image, casting tales of hope and despair against an ever-shifting backdrop of melodic death, doom and black metal.

While they've always been stars in their own right, Oceans of Slumber's upcoming sixth album expands the band's wide-ranging vision to the dark, cinematic heights of a Hollywood blockbuster. Where Gods Fear to Speak is in conversation with The Handmaid's Tale and Cormac McCarthy more than it is Opeth. Their new single "The Given Dream" gives hope to the future of metal by breaking the spell that's lorded over us by the powers that be.

Listen to "The Given Dream" Below.

Where Gods Fear to Speak comes out September 13 on Season of Mist.

"The Given Dream" awakens with a familiar sense of dread. A dark, ominous synth blares over the speakers with the creeping suspense of an IMAX movie.

To celebrate the release of Where Gods Fear to Speak, Oceans of Slumber are saddling up with their fellow Houston heavies in Necrofier for a fiery performance at Metal Injection Festival.

"We are thrilled to celebrate Metal Injection's 20th anniversary at this year's festival", says Cammie. "We'll be sharing the stage with amazing bands like Jinjer, Converge, God Forbid, 3 Inches of Blood, Hanabie, Cave In, Rivers of Nihil and our good friends in Necrofier. We can't wait to rock out with you and hit the streets of New York City".

Metal Injection Festival
Sunday, September 22 - Brooklyn, NY @ Brooklyn Monarch & Meadows [TICKETS]

“We just hope to grow the band. We’ve had a problem with reaching the next level, but I’m hoping this record makes the difference, and people just give us a shot,” Dobber concludes. “The band is great and it’s tight, and Cammie is such a great performer. When people really get to see the real thing in front of them, which they don’t a lot of the time, it just works, intrinsically. There’s just a natural response to it. So if we can get in front of the audiences we should, then we’ll win them over and the band will grow. That’s all we want. It's a mechanism for survival at this point.”

Brantley Gilbert Releases "Dirty Money" ft. Justin Moore from Highly Anticipated 'Tattoos'

ith his seventh studio album arriving on September 13 via The Valory Music Co., multi-Platinum country rocker Brantley Gilbert releases the final preview of Tattoos with “Dirty Money” featuring Justin Moore, an industrial-strength anthem and a true blue-collar banger in tribute to the clean conscious that comes from a lifetime of sweat equity. Listen to “Dirty Money” below and pre-save/pre-order Tattoos HERE.

Written by Gilbert with Josh Phillips, “Dirty Money” opens the project with a thunderclap of self-sufficient pride and wastes no time bringing the Georgia native’s world into focus, breaking through a peaceful calm with pounding drums, mile-deep distortion and Gilbert’s smoke-and-soul vocal:

Working with primary co-producer Brock Berryhill, Tattoos matches Gilbert’s ink in both striking design and depth of meaning. Through flowing curves and jagged lines, shadow and light look back on a life of blue-collar pride and full-throttle rebellion – along with addictive love, abiding faith and blessings beyond what any of us deserve.

The result is an electrifying mix of in-your-face aggression and roughneck reflection, as Gilbert delivers another full-spectrum soundtrack to modern country life. But this time, he was careful to put an emphasis on his early days, both in sound and substance. Focusing on real instruments over synthetic effects, molten hot power chords and solos which rip the fabric of space and time pair with thundering drums and Gilbert’s diesel-powered vocal, more dynamic here than it has been in years – and put to use in a variety of big-picture, small-town settings.

In celebration of his new album Tattoos, Gilbert will headline Brantley Gilbert’s World’s Largest Album Release Party on Broadway in downtown Nashville on Friday, September 13. The free multi-artist concert is part of FREEDOM FRIDAY events kicking off the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix weekend (September 13-15). Presented by 1st Phorm Energy, with additional partnership from Rousch, Polaris, and Modern Buggy, the 4th annual FREEDOM FRIDAY concert honors members of the Military, Police, Fire, First Responders and Frontline Heroes. The 160th Special Ops Aviation Regiment will perform a helicopter aerial demonstration and a pre-concert flyover by the 101st Airborne Division.

“Dirty Money” featuring Justin Moore follows the release of “Me And My House” featuring Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones, a hand-over-heart declaration of purpose and a defiant tip of the hat to the independent country rap world Gilbert has always admired, as each collaborator wrote and performed their own verses. Watch the official music video HERE.

As lead single “Over When We’re Sober” with Ashley Cooke climbs the charts at country radio after being most added upon its debut, Gilbert’s headlining Off The Rails Tour continues August 30 in Kettering, Ohio, with stops in Duluth, Minn., Council Bluffs, Iowa and Goddard, Kan. through the fall. About Brantley Gilbert
As one of the godfathers of country’s modern rock-and-rap edge, multi-Platinum The Valory Music Co. trailblazer Brantley Gilbert knows life has a way of leaving a mark. With his seventh studio album, Tattoos, set for release September 13, the Georgia native chooses to embrace it – inspired by the idea that his tattoos tell a story, just like his songs. And just like his songs, he’ll never hide the truth they reveal. An era-defining artist forever bonded to his fans, Gilbert’s been mining the timeless values of hard-working dedication, high-octane thrills and humble faith since his 2009 debut, A Modern Day Prodigal Son, creating a chart-topping grit-and-grace fusion which helped set the stage for today’s genre-blending format. With his dedicated BG Nation behind him, the fiery performer-songwriter has racked up more than 8.3 BILLION career streams, boasting back-to-back Platinum albums and seven No. 1 hits including the RIAA 7x Platinum “Bottoms Up;” 2x Platinum “Country Must Be Country Wide;” 2x Platinum “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do;” 2x Platinum “One Hell of An Amen;” and the Platinum-certified “What Happens In A Small Town” with Lindsay Ell. His world-class pen helped create a watershed hit with Jason Aldean’s 4x Platinum country-rap game changer, “Dirt Road Anthem.” And possessing a can’t-fake-it quality of fierce independence, the ACM, CMA and AMA award winner has toured alongside everyone from Willie Nelson and Toby Keith to Kenny Chesney, Nickelback and more. Tattoos further cements his legacy – 10 cowritten, co-produced tracks with an electrifying mix of in-your-face aggression and roughneck reflection, as Gilbert’s diesel-powered smoke-and-soul vocal delivers another full-spectrum soundtrack to modern country life. Tracks like full-throttle “Off the Rails” and intoxicating chart-climbing single “Over When We’re Sober” with Ashley Cooke lead a set packed with guest appearances from Gary LeVox, Justin Moore and Off The Rails tour mates Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones, as the superstar headlines across the U.S. through October 2024. Defiled Beat Bitter Lesson on New Single "Horror Beyond Horror"

The death metal samurai are unsheathing their new album with a Japanese tour and special shows in Thailand with Batushka and Malevolent Creation

"For fans of the classic era of death metal" - Blabbermouth
"Nobody sounds like these guys; they make art out of riffs, snares and death" -
New Noise

"The one-two punch of tight musicianship and an inclination to pummel into submission without the need for flashy antics makes for a dazzling experience" - Ghost Cult

"Straight to the point and relentless"
- Distorted Sound

"Encapsulates both the oldschool familiarity and the modern aesthetics of death metal" - Metal Trenches

Defiled have long since mastered the vile art of old-school death metal. Ever since they first erupted with wrath out of the Tokyo underground at the tail-end of the '90s, Yusuke Sumita and his band of bloodthirsty samurai have left nothing but inevitable ruin in their wake. They've toured with fellow legends like Mayhem, Incantation, Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse, leading crowds from as far away as Milwaukee Metal Festival to lose their sanity.

After their last album, it's understandable if metalheads believed that Defiled had reached the highest level. But now, just one year later, the Japanese legends have topped themselves once again with their upcoming eighth album. Horror Beyond Horror is the kind of good ol' fashioned ass-kicking that only a true master can deliver. As demonstrated by its flying and furious title track, the band's reign of total dominance is endless thanks to their bottomless arsenal of finishing moves.

Watch the video for "Horror Beyond Horror" Below.

Horror Beyond Horror comes out September 20 on Season of Mist.

After 30 years of slicing and dicing, Defiled know where to stick the blade. The band's new title tracks shreds through the psychological horrors of mind control with riffs that are honed from their sharp influence of '80s thrash and hardcore. "The time has come", frontman Shinichiro Hamada spits at his captors with utter disgust. "Death strikes you with derision".

With three albums now under their belts in the past four years, Defiled certainly don't have the patience to suffer any fools. Halfway through its brutal punishment, "Horror Beyond Horror" is whipped along by a squealing whammy bar and blast beats that are more piercing and precise than a firing squad.

But the band aren't afraid to crack open people's skulls, either. "What sets Defiled's old-school approach apart from the plethora of modern imitators is a refined sense of songcraft", says Lambgoat. It still cuts to the raw truth, but "Horror Beyond Horror" is also thick with stomach-churning tempo twists. Just as they seem to settle into a skull-crushing groove, the band fly off the rails with more fret-ripping madness. And yet - amidst the song's deranged lunacy, Defiled never fail to lure you back into the pit.

"Waiting for the slaughter"  Hamada growls in hungry anticipation of the raw, chopping breakdown.

"We are very excited to play songs off Horror Beyond Horror for fans in our home country", says guitarist Yusuke Sumita. "If you're in the area, be sure to join us. See you on the road".

The video for "Horror Beyond Horror" was filmed in March 2024. It was filmed and edited by Seaside 99 Works. Special thanks to Hirohisa Saco at Studio Tranbanero.

ABOUT MOVEMENTS:
It's been a whirlwind few years for Movements as evidenced by the fact that band's 2020 album No Good Left to Give debuted at #3 on the Alternative chart and their streams have doubled since then with 300 million total streams in the U.S. alone. However, despite their success, the Southern Californian act have constantly reinvented themselves since forming in 2015 and the band's third full-length RUCKUS! sees the post-hardcore quartet taking their sound to expansive and sometimes unexpected places. Produced by longtime collaborator Will Yip (Circa Survive, Code Orange), the album fuses post-hardcore and punk influences with a healthy dose of pop songcraft to create an album that defies scene conventions in favor of something wholly unique. In order to accomplish this, the band made three extended trips to Yip's Studio 4 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, to write and record the collection of songs that would end up as RUCKUS! "I truly don't believe that it could have been a more streamlined process and I don't think we've ever written music that's as good as what we put together for this record," Miranda explains. RUCKUS! sees the band integrating decidedly different influences such as Gorillaz and Strokes into their sound to challenge people's preconceptions.

Chase Rice Unveils Haunting Murder Ballad “Haw River” off Independent Album 'Go Down Singin’' Due Sept. 20

Celebrated by Billboard for “having storytelling details tumble from his lips, his portraits created quickly and efficiently,” Diamond-certified songwriter Chase Rice unveils his latest gripping narrative via today’s release of “Haw River,” offering fans a further glimpse into his highly anticipated independent album, Go Down Singin’, arriving Sept. 20. Pre-order/pre-save the album HERE and listen to “Haw River” Below

Inspired by a chance encounter during a writing retreat in Wilmington, N.C. with Blake Pendergrass – who also served as Rice’s writing partner on the recently released autobiographical title track – the haunting and evocative song showcases his ability to weave gripping narratives with a raw emotional core.

As Rice recalls of the chilling murder ballad’s origin, “We met a girl who said, ‘I’m Kayla from Haw River,’ and my ears just went up. Blake said, ‘We should make that a murder ballad…’ and we were off. Between the series 1923 about those priests beating up and raping Native American girls and our imaginations, it got pretty dark.”

With vivid lyrics and a stirring melody, “Haw River” tells the story of a preacher who exploits his power, only to face retribution at the hands of one of his victims, highlighting Rice’s continued evolution as a storyteller and his deep connection to the themes that resonate with him. The song joins a collection of songs that explore themes of growth, loss and redemption on Go Down Singin’, marking a significant moment in his musical journey as he bets on himself with the independent release.

Go Down Singin’ is about where I am right now,” Rice shares of the Oscar Charles-produced project. “It’s about taking everything I’ve been through, all the mistakes and the lessons learned, and turning them into something meaningful. This album is the most honest I’ve ever been, and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

About Chase Rice
With more than 2.6 million albums sold and over 2.8 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With new releases “Fireside” and “Go Down Singin’” previewing his forthcoming independent album Go Down Singin’ (Sept. 20) as the follow-up to critically acclaimed album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, Rice’s sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life; from emotional reckoning to an admiration of the American West. The recent album, including standout tracks “Oklahoma” and “Bench Seat,” serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, which featured his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” and the Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.”

This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the 3x Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Platinum-certified Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; Platinum-certified “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Double Platinum “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold-out stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice consistently sells out venues on his own headlining tours, including the recent Get Western Tour in support of his new music, and he is currently serving as direct support on Dierks Bentley’s Gravel & Gold Tour.

NE OBLIVISCARIS Remaster 'Citadel' for 10th Anniversary

"Citadel is a blind plunge well worth taking...Ne Obliviscaris have crafted all their wild conceits into sprawling epics that flow with grace and fortitude" - Metal Hammer

"It will stand the test of time...Sit back, and drink the spirit of good metal with no regrets" - Metal Injection

"Nigh-on masterful" - Angry Metal Guy (4.5/5)

"Never before have we seen such range from a violinist in this context, all performed with maximum control and in such a way that the instrument rarely feels out of place or in any way a gimmick" - Heavy Blog is Heavy (4.5/5)

Ever since their inception, NE OBLIVISCARIS have surged forth as titans of progressive metal. Their complex soundscapes push the boundaries of the genre, weaving together fierce riffs and ethereal, harmonic violins with a dual-vocal onslaught that's as soaringly clean as it is crushingly harsh.

Ten years later, their second album still stands as a monumental achievement in the band's discography. To celebrate their groundbreaking milestone, Ne Obliviscaris are releasing what's now the definitive edition of Citadel. This new version was remastered by Mark Lewis, who mixed and mastered the band's latest album, Exul. Together, they've meticulously resurrected the original's power, ensuring every note, every growl and every whisper of the violin rings clearer and more haunting than before.

The Remastered 10-Year Anniversary Edition of Citadel is now available on all digital platforms.

Stream: https://neobliviscaris.fanlink.tv/Citadel

Starting today, fans can also pre-order this remastered version on CD and vinyl, including a limited-edition crystal clear, purple-and-white marbled color variant. The physical versions will be available on October 11, 2024.

Originally released in 2014, Citadel was an undisputed tour de force that carved a mark into the hearts of metal aficionados across the world. The album is split into three epic movements; each one covers an evocative landscape, spanning from ferocious storms on "Painters of the Tempest" to scorching mid-section "Pyrrhic" and the relentless awe of "Devour Me, Colossus". Together, they're a pillar of majestic fury and exquisite despair that captures Ne Obliviscaris' brilliance in its most concentrated form.

Ne Obliviscaris will perform Citadel and Exul in full this fall while touring Europe and the United Kingdom. Their old friend Dan Presland - who drums for Vipassi and Black Lava - will join them on this special anniversary tour.

The band will also be making new memories later this year when they perform a career-spanning set for their fans in Latin America. Presland will also join them for this tour, bringing both a thunder and precision that only he can command.

Funeral Drown in Melody on "Yestertear"

Today, FUNERAL returns with "Yestertear", the haunting second single from the Norwegian doom metal mainstay's upcoming ninth album Gospel of Bones. The band weaves a somber yet resilient tale through their melancholic soundscapes. "Yestertear" is a cathartic vessel, sailing through the darkest waters of human grief, only to emerge on the shores of mournful beauty.

Watch the visualizer for "Yestertear" below.

Gospel of Bones is out October 18th on Season of Mist.

Pre-order & pre-save here: https://orcd.co/funeralgospelofbones

Produced by the legendary Børge Finstad and adorned with the ethereal harmonies of Ingvild "Sareeta" Johannesen, Gospel of Bones is an opus of mourning carved in nightmarish tones and relentless dirges. Each track meticulously showcases Funeral's mastery in articulating the grim yet inspiring journey through pain and loss.

"Yestertear" drowns in intricate melodies and the profound anguish woven with care by the hands of the Anders Eek (Drums, Guitars, Vocals) Erlend E. Nybo (Guitars), Rune Gandrud (Bass), Sareeta (Violin, Backing Vocals), Stian Kråbøl (Guitars) & Eirik P. Krokfjord (Vocals). Eek’s dismal symphonies echo across every note, leading through the desolate beauty of remembered sorrow and past hauntings. We are not merely listeners but fellow mourners, each phrase a whisper in the grand requiem of existence.

The lyrical content of the album is an autobiography of life’s mishaps of drummer/composer  A. Eek, and deals with real darkness, misery, pain and loss.  A Gospel of Bones.

With more than 22 million albums sold and 24 billion global streams to-date, the GRAMMY-nominated band receives yet two more RIAA Gold Certifications for "Stars" and "Legendary"

SKILLET APP debuts today with early access to tickets, exclusive content, message boards, and more!

Tour with Seether kicks off next month

"'Unpopular' is lighthearted, but there’s a clear message,” says lead singer John Cooper. “So many people don't have a place to belong. You used to know your neighbors. Our communities are online now, which contributes to the loneliness. You have powerful people telling you what reality is, what you should eat, what you should drive, and how you should live. They deem us 'unpopular.' In reality, we agree more than we disagree as a society. The majority of people just want to be free and they don't really care whether or not you agree with them about everything."

REVOLUTION is expected to only extend Skillet's formidable legacy. As of 2024, the band have received two GRAMMY® Award nominations, picked up a Billboard Music Award, and landed three albums in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200. Selling over 22 million units worldwide with over 24 billion global streams to date, SKILLET have notched multi-platinum, platinum, or gold RIAA certifications for a total of 12 singles and four full-length albums. Their latest RIAA Gold certifications just hit this summer with the tracks "Legendary" and "Stars." Not to mention, they have regularly attracted 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, boasting "one of the most-streamed rock songs of all-time" with the 5x-platinum "Monster."

After an incredible 20 years on Atlantic Records, SKILLET have built this new vision entirely by hand, intentionally opting to go independent at the end of their last contract and developing a solid indie team. Bolstered and galvanized by the support of a fervent global base, they took advantage of this newfound freedom, writing and recording the album at their own pace on the road and at home as well as in studios across Milwaukee, Canada, and Nashville. The group also tapped the talents of longtime collaborators and producers Brian Howes and Seth Mosely, as well as band member Korey Cooper with YOUTHYEAR/Carlo Colasacco bringing these 10 tracks to life naturally.

"We made records on the same label for 20 years, and it was a great experience," says Cooper. "Since this was the first independent record, it put some pep in my step, so to speak. We did exactly what we wanted to do. If I was on the road and felt inspired to write, I just did. In the past, we'd make a bunch of ideas and whittle everything down for the album. This time, we only wrote and recorded 10 tracks, but it was all we needed. Musically, there are a lot of flavors on the record. It's got the arena songs, but it also has some tunes that are more nostalgic and throwback Skillet."

He continues, "Thematically, there's so much nihilism in our culture. Depression and teen suicide are at epidemic levels. We're revolting against a culture that creates nihilism, nothingness, and materialism. The album is poignant, but it's also very confident and inclusive as well. It's a record saying, 'We have to be willing to stand up for what we believe in — even if it might be unpopular in some circles, but hey, maybe we could have a revolution of love, you know, a revolution of understanding, of tolerance towards people that we don't agree with and come back to some human dignity and respecting peoples rights and where they're coming from. And so, it's kind of speaking to the division and the polarization that is happening, which I think is a really good message and what the whole ‘revolution’ thing is all about. We allude to it on the record cover where there's a Skillet flag, and in the corner it lists I Corinthians, 13:13, a verse that says, 'Hold onto these things: faith, hope, love. But the greatest is love.'"

Ready to play new music for their fans, SKILLET recently announced that they will hit the road this fall with another one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century, SEETHER, followed by their first-ever tour of the Middle East in November, where the band will be playing in Turkey, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, and more. From there, SKILLET will support Black Stone Cherry on a handful of dates across the UK. Tickets for all shows are now available at Skillet.com

ROLO TOMASSI TO RELEASE NEW LIVE ALBUM "LIVE AT THE ELECTRIC BALLROOM" OUT SEPTEMBER 27, 2024

UK Progressive metal band Rolo Tomassi announce a new live album, Live at The Electric Ballroom, to be released on September 27, 2024, via MNRK Heavy.  The 15-track project was recorded from a headlining show on February 15, 2023, at London’s Electric Ballroom. The set showcases Rolo Tomassi at their most dynamic and mesmerizing.

The first single, Aftermath, is out today. Originally released on 2018’s Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It, this live version intensifies the melodic and sweeping soundscape.

Vocalist/keyboardist James Spence says, “Since its release, this song has been an audience favourite along with a rare opportunity for a sing-along. It remains an outlier in our material, but in the context of a full set, it always feels like an elevated moment. Our band has always been about stark contrasts, and this is a perfect example of that.”

Rolo Tomassi have spent 17 years leading the pack rather than following, and on their recent album, Where Myth Becomes Memory, they've led with more poise and determination than ever before. The album served as the final part in an unintended trilogy that began with 2015’s Grievances and continued with 2018’s Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It.

Texas Hippie Coalition Release "Gunsmoke," Title Track From New Album

Texas rockers TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION are set to release their new album, Gunsmoke, via MNRK Heavy on October 4, 2024.  This time, Big Dad Ritch and his crew wholeheartedly embrace their country and Southern rock stylings as well as a lifelong passion for westerns. This comes through loud and clear on the first single and title track, "Gunsmoke." Rustic acoustic guitar crawls through a stomping beat punctuated by waves of groaning distortion. It climaxes on a chantable chorus, “I sell weed and liquor to the city slickers. I can get you there quicker, and like a gun…I smoke.

With drinks poured, fists raised, and smiles wide, TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION (THC) always know how to have a good time. A collective of tried-and-true rabble-rousers and dyed-in-the-wool storytellers, the Texas quintet—Big Dad Ritch [vocals], Cord Pool [guitar], Nevada Romo [guitar], Rado Romo [bass], and Joey Mandigo [drums]—spike ass-whopping hard rock with a kick of country swagger and a whole lot of Texas grit and gusto.

Gathering tens of millions of streams, logging thousands of miles on the road, and energizing countless fans, they deliver ten anthems tailormade to simmer and scorch on Gunsmoke [MNRK Heavy]. “In terms of the lyrics, the vibe, and where THC come from, we definitely went home on this album,” says Ritch. “It represents the wild west Texas-Oklahoma area. You’ve got a little red dirt country spilling over into the storytelling and metal. It’s a return to the dirt where we came from.”

DEFEATED SANITY Announce New Album

"One of the most extreme things I've ever heard" - Decibel
"When Defeated Sanity release a new album, it's always cause for attention" -Metal Injection

"Defeated Sanity have captured the throne of brutal death metal..." - Angry Metal Guy

"A jazz ensemble hiding in plain sight as a brutal tech-death band" - No Clean Singing

"While the rest of us smooth-brained mortals are content with playing checkers or Connect Four, these guys are playing six simultaneous games of 3D chess with their swollen, pulsating minds" -
Metal Sucks

"Should be up for some sort of award for being one of this offshoot's most steadily morphing bands" -
Last Rites

"Defeated Sanity's brutality comes almost entirely from their demandingly intricate songwriting" -
Toilet Over Hell

"Defeated Sanity has crafted a sound that is wholly their own" -
Heaviest of Art

Defeated Sanity have pushed the boundaries of extreme metal for 30 odd years. The band execute jazz-infused chaos with mind-bending precision, while also slamming together so many memorable breakdowns that they cracked the Billboard charts. Their upcoming seventh album still hits from every odd angle, but on Chronicles of Lunacy, these technical maniacs return to sheer brutality.

“The last few DS albums leaned heavily on the proggier side of our sound”, says the band's drummer and founding member Lille Gruber. “We still like to experiment, but on our new album, we wanted to get back to the raw slamming that our fans love about Psalms of the Moribund or Chapters of Repugnance”.

Watch the foul video for lead single “The Odour of Sanctity”  Below.

Chronicles of Lunacy comes out November 22 on Season of Mist.

Just like the rivers of hell, "The Odour of Sanctity" comes pouring out the speakers in a never-ending stream of filth. Guttural vocals spew through a churning mix of chunky riffs, hiccuping drum fills and a cavernous low-end. "We wanted to keep some of the fidelity that's associated with modern death metal", the band says, "but Chronicleshas more of the raw production style that stood out on Psalms and Chapters".

To dig back into the brutal mindset that long-time fans have come to crave, in January 2024, Defeated Sanity returned to Thousand Cave Studios. The underground New York City hotspot was also the excavation site for The Sanguinary Impetus, which dumped a fresh layer of dirt on the more "polished" production of Passages Into Deformity. Except this time around, the band encouraged producer Colin Marston to really get his hands dirty.

"The Odour of Sanctity" stinks to high heaven. New guitarist Vaughn Stoffey shreds with such gross speed that even the old school heads will be spinning around like The Exorcist. Of course, the ungodly pace is still set by the whip of Lille Gruber. He opens the song as if puncturing a wound, hammering out blast beats that are as merciless as the nails of the cross.

"Lille's drumming is just ridiculous", says Jacob Schmidt, whose belching bass lines give "Odour" a oddball bounce. "He's the face of the DS franchise. So even though Chronicles is more slamming and straightforward, the weird, hyper-technical experiments still found a way into the mix".

Plenty of knuckle-dragging awaits within its stomach-turning twists, but Chronicles of Lunacy isn't Defeated Sanity for dummies. Heck, the album's concept is wrapped up in the many malicious ways that delusional thinking can rot the human psyche. "Each song deals with a different strain of mental corruption", says Josh Welshman. "Odour" stinks of religious fanaticism. After a brutal showing on Sanguinary, Welshman returns with a vengeance. "A miracle defiled / Fraudulently wrought", he summons with a demonic growl as the band open up the pit with a brutal breakdown.

"In true DS fashion, 'Odour' showcases the full range of our sound", the band says. "It's freaky but also unrelentingly brutal, which represents the crossroad that we ended up at on Chronicles of Lunacy. Even though the album can get pretty fucking weird, there's still a emphasis on straight-up slamming"

The video for "The Odour of Sanctity" was created by Obscenery Films.

None of their albums are ever going to follow a straight line, but on Chronicles of Lunacy, Defeated Sanity return to sheer brutality.

Jenna Paulette Releases “Run The Damn Ball” off Upcoming Album ‘Horseback’

Leo33 recording artist Jenna Paulette releases her fall-time anthem, “Run The Damn Ball,” today in anticipation of her sophomore album, Horseback, available Sept. 6. Listen Below.

“I am of the firm belief that the word of God, family, livestock, small towns, slow cooking and team sports are some of the things that teach you the most about life and yourself,” Paulette shares. “They create good character and accountability. This song is about doing the simple things every day… not worrying about making it fancy or getting credit. Keep your head down, do what’s necessary, and let it all add up to a big win in life. Go tell someone to pass the aux cable and the green beans—crank this song and run the damn ball.”

Written by Rodney Clawson, Casey Beathard and Hunter Phelps, “Run The Damn Ball” harkens back to the values of grit and hard work that Paulette carries with her throughout her north Texas ranching lifestyle.

“Run The Damn Ball” is the latest preview of Paulette’s upcoming sophomore album Horsebackarriving Sept. 6 via Leo33. A culmination of all aspects of her life that have shaped her, including heartbreak and newfound love, Horseback further expands on her debut album The Girl I Was.

In an interview with Cowboys & Indians in June, Paulette shared, “This record is a cumulation of perspectives I have from the moments and people that made me: rural, cowboy, America, my biggest heartaches leading to my healing, the men and women I’m so proud to come from and represent.”

Paulette is currently on the road with Aaron Watson as part of The Armadillo Dance Hall Tour and will support select dates of the CMT Next Women of Country Tour with Kimberly Perry this month. For more information on new music and upcoming shows, visit jennapaulette.com or follow @JennaPaulette on all social platforms.

A FROZEN HEART IN SUMMERTIME: PERMAFROST UNVEIL BROODING POST-PUNK SUMMER ANTHEM

‘Ultimo August’ Out 16th August

LP ‘The Light Coming Through’ Out 11th October

“If you are a fan of the sinister menace of Interpol, the jagged guitar lines of Gang Of Four or the grandiose gloom of The Cure, here is a band which is a mix of all three but has its own unique post-punk aesthetic – Permafrost.”

XS NOIZE

“Brooding and upbeat, here we have a classically post-punk vibe with compositions still centred on starkly compelling melodies.”

AMPLIFY MUSIC

“With a powerful melody and plenty of reverb and appealing synth, there is still a charming quality here amidst this ominous hymn – impressive.”

SPILL MAGAZINE

Nordic-British quartet Permafrost continue to deliver the authentic post-punk sound of the early '80s with the release of ‘Ultimo August’ on 16th August. The single follows the band's acclaimed comeback track, ‘Wrong Heart’,  and serves as a final preview of their forthcoming album, The Light Coming Through, hailed for release 11th October.

Permafrost shatter expectations with ‘Ultimo August’ by delivering a brooding summer anthem that heralds their forthcoming album. Lead singer Kåre Steinsbu’s haunting baritone howls weave a tale of heartbreak and introspection as the track delves into the personal reckoning required to mend a fractured relationship. Driven by pulsating basslines and intricate guitar work, the track juxtaposes the icy darkness of winter against the yearning warmth of summer, evoking comparisons to Interpol, Editors, and New Order

“Ultimo August is a song about a broken relationship and the realisation that it’s necessary to look inward first to work out where it went wrong“ says Permafrost of the single. “It’s a story of a person who is torn between the turbulence of passion and the mundanity of a peaceful life”

Conceived in the chilling depths of Molde, Norway, Permafrost have been igniting the post-punk flame since their formation in 1982. Founded by schoolmates Frode Heggdal Larsen and Kåre Steinsbu, the band has evolved over the decades, incorporating the talents of fellow Norwegian Robert Heggdal and UK-based Daryl Bamonte - a seasoned collaborator with Depeche Mode and The Cure. As authentic purveyors of the genre, Permafrost transport listeners back to the shadowy, goth-filled clubs of the early ‘80s. Whilst countless contemporary artists attempt to replicate the raw energy of this era, Permafrost truly lived it.

Defying the odds of distance, with members dispersed across Trondheim, Oslo and Margate, Permafrost have forged an unbreakable creative bond. Unexpectedly, the pandemic became a catalyst for Permafrost’s creativity, as weekly virtual sessions laid the groundwork for their forthcoming album and refined their long-distance collaborative process. The songwriting process typically begins with guitarist Frode presenting a demo, which bassist Robert (Bob Frost) then develops in Logic Pro, programming drums and other elements. Singer Kåre creates a melody to match and lyrics are selected from a collective vault they have accumulated over the years.  The song is refined through a collaborative process, passing back and forth between all four members until everyone is satisfied.

Utilising this refined process, Permafrost’s forthcoming album, The Light Coming Through, offers a sonic refuge from the chaos of modern life. With their signature blend of synth-infused post-punk and politically charged lyrics, the band delivers a collection of songs that are both introspective and empowering. Self described as “Optimistic Melancholy,” their sound offers solace and inspiration, illuminating a path through life’s darkest corners.

Permafrost’s discography is a testament to their endurance over the years within the music scene. From their humble beginnings with the limited edition 1983 cassette ‘Godtment’, the band has evolved into a formidable force. Their 2019 vinyl EP, ‘Permafrost’ marked a turning point, subsequently gaining wider exposure through a digital release in 2021. Permafrost truly ignited in 2021, with their trio of singles dominating the charts, including an eight-week combined reign for ‘Femme Fatale’ and ‘Closed Eyes’ atop the Indie Disko Top40. These tracks also made waves on the Deutsche Alternative and Native25 charts, earning a coveted spot on Apple Music’s influential "New in Rock" playlist. The unstoppable momentum continued with ‘Restore Us’ which secured the #1 position on both the Indie Disko Top40 and Native25 charts.

‘Ultimo August’ drops on all major streaming platforms on 16th August, a final taste of Permafrost's forthcoming album, The Light Coming Through, due for release on October 11th.
