Within Temptation Share New Track "Ritual" — LISTEN

BAND TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM BLEED OUT ON OCTOBER 20

Dutch metallers Within Temptation have released their brand-new single "Ritual" today. The song is the focus track of their upcoming eighth studio album Bleed Out, on October 20.

Reflecting the tumultuous state of the world, for their newest record the band have drawn inspiration from events such as the murder of Mahsa Amini in Iran and the war in Ukraine. But that isn't to say that there's no light to the heavy shade on Bleed Out.

Sharon den Adel explains that the song "is one of the kinkiest songs the band have ever written and is fully inspired by From Dusk Till Dawn." She is referring to the iconic movie by Quentin Tarantino about a seemingly normal road trip turning into a vampire slayer party. "It's a fun track about seduction," she explains. "It's about the lady taking power in a male dominated world and taking her own initiative."

Listen to "Ritual" below.

Bleed Out signifies a bold leap forward for the band. From contemporary, hard-hitting, and djenty riffs to soaring melodies displaying their symphonic roots, Within Temptation have created a sonic journey that fuses diverse musical styles and thought-provoking themes. This is an album that is as epic as it is unflinchingly outspoken, and now more than ever, this is a band who is unafraid to make a stand on issues it cares about. Within Temptation have delivered a fist-in-the-air proclamation of both their moral convictions and their fearless approach to music.

WITHIN TEMPTATION IS:
Sharon den Adel — Vocals
Mike Coolen — Drums
Stefan Helleblad — Guitars
Ruud Jolie — Guitars
Martijn Spierenburg — Keyboards
Jeroen van Veen — Bass Guitars
Robert Westerholt — Guitars

COLIN STOUGH ANNOUNCES DEBUT EP PROMISELAND

Colin Stough today announces Promiseland, his debut EP after his successful run on American Idol earlier this year. The six-song project will be released on all DSPs on October 20. Pre-save/pre-add HERE.

The announcement accompanies the launch of the second single from the project, “Lonely Hour.” Stough describes the song as melancholic saying, “There are these moments after a breakup where everything kind of settles and the loneliness kicks in. It’s those moments after the day winds down before the night sets in and you can fall asleep. The moments where you can’t stop thinking about everything and you finally start feeling all of the pain and loss that comes after a relationship has run its course. It’s the lonely hour.” Listen now below.

Colin Stough is one of the most buzzed about newcomers in country music today, after taking top honors on Season 21 of American Idol. Stough, the “Brad Pitt of country music”, as dubbed by Katy Perry, “was born to be a star” and has “the taste” and the “vocal ability."

Stough has also released the pensive official music video for “Lonely Hour.” Shot in a single hotel room, the video is powerful in its simplicity. Stough says, “This song is a melancholic one and what’s more melancholy than sitting in an old motel with everything you own packed in a suitcase as the sun is setting. It’s loneliness at its deepest. That’s the feeling we wanted to capture in this video. It’s meant to be kind of simple but vulnerable, and honestly, just kind of sad.”

“Lonely Hour” and “Promiseland” follow the release of Stough’s debut song “Bad Day,” a testament to the working man’s plight to get through a particularly mundane day, and “I Still Talk To Jesus,” a deeply personal depiction of Stough’s struggle to find meaning in a lifetime of disappointments and letdowns, which ended up reaching the #5 slot on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales Charts and #18 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Charts.

Currently out on the road with headlining tour dates including a hometown show that sold out in one hour, Stough is ready for all of his fans to hear his debut project next month.

About Colin Stough:

Colin Stough, a horse-loving, motorcycle-riding 19-year-old from Gattman, Mississippi, has lived through a lot in his relatively short life. And, every ounce of heartbreak can be heard in his gravelly yet commanding rock-leaning vocal. Dubbed “the Brad Pitt of country music” by Katy Perry — the southern-rock, country artist is an artist to watch as he continues to build his fanbase, following his run to become a finalist on the 2023 season of American Idol. Now, Stough readies his debut EP Promiseland for October 20, which will feature the previously released title track and “Lonely Hour.”

Locket Share "Glowing" — LISTEN

NEW ALBUM SUPERLUMINAL OUT NOVEMBER 10 VIA FEARLESS RECORDS

Canadian alt rock band Locket will release their new album and second full-length Superluminal on November 10 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it
here.

Today, the band has shared the new single "Glowing." Listen
below.

"Sometimes the best thing you can do when you're in a dark place is surround yourself with good people, optimistic people, loving people," says frontman Brad Garcia. "You hope that the good in them will start to cast some light onto you — even if it just barely breaks through that dark cloud. This song is about desperately holding onto someone else's glow, and getting lost searching for your own."

About recording their second full-length, Garcia states, "When 'band world' got put on pause back in 2020, it almost felt like a sigh of relief. We found this sense of freedom in being able to just write music for no other reason than writing music. With real pressure we could just write riffs, not overthink anything. And I think because of that, sonically, the record feels so authentically us."

He continues, "Thematically, I approached writing this record from this place of not knowing what's next (for the band or for ourselves as individuals). It ended up being this cathartic process of learning to deal with this central part of your life being forced across a tightrope, and ultimately learning to be alright if it slips and falls apart, because it might make way for a new chapter. We started writing this album as band guys in our twenties. By the time it comes out we'll be in our thirties, married, with a clearer understanding of who we are as people that have this insane privilege of making music together where people actually listen. We don't take that for granted. Also, we all think the album fuckin' rocks, so that's probably the most important thing."

Locket, whose core members (Garcia, guitarist Cory Bergeron and bassist Travis Morrison) have achieved more than they ever could have dreamed of when they started out 10 years ago in a band under a different name. Once reforming as Locket, they released the album All Out in late 2019. The record earned positive press from publications including Billboard, The Alternative, and New Noise, and the single "Hunnie" has racked up more than 1.6 million Spotify streams.

ABOUT VRSTY:
VRSTY (pronounced "Varsity") make music as energetic and richly diverse as the city that spawned them. Assembled by band leader Joey Tyler, a Puerto Rican singer from New York City raised on R&B, pop, and Spanish music and equally inspired by metallic post-hardcore, VRSTY blends genres with fearless ambition and visceral enthusiasm. A handful of EPs preceded 2020's debut album, Welcome Home, itself followed by a three-part series of sequel EPs solidifying the band's reputation.

The band (comprised of guitarist Paul Gregory, bassist Javier Dorrejo, drummer Chris Cody, and Tyler) specializes in what Kerrang! described as "endless grooves and danceable parts, punctuated by breakdowns and completed with dark atmosphere." Meanwhile, "Massive,”"from 2020's Cloud City EP, remained the Most Played on SiriusXM's Octane for two consecutive weeks. In a 9/10 review, Outburn described Welcome Home as "effortless, fun, and above all genuine." Blabbermouth raved: "While other bands may have introduced the concept of genre-bending, VRSTY have refined it."

Genuine authenticity and uncompromising passion are crucial to everything about VRSTY. Levitate, the band's stunning sophomore set, is powered by spirited conviction and a commitment to follow their muse wherever it leads. It's an album of rich melodic hooks and headbang-inducing grooves.

Tyler co-produced Levitate with Justin Deblieck (Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White, Lorna Shore, Fit For A King). George Lever (Sleep Token, Holding Absence, Loathe) handled mixing duties.

VRSTY commands the crowd anytime they perform, connecting with anyone who struggles with feelings of low self-worth, bad relationships, or generally feels like an outsider. It’s a feeling of shared community evident on the band's tours with the likes of 10 Years, Nonpoint, Secrets, and For The Fallen Dreams, among others. Ultimately, VRSTY aims to encourage, provoke, and inspire listeners.

Boys Like Girls Share "NEW LOVE" — LISTEN

NEW ALBUM SUNDAY AT FOXWOODS OUT OCTOBER 20 VIA FEARLESS RECORDS

BAND TOURING THROUGH OCTOBER!

BOYS LIKE GIRLS will release their first full length album in 11 years, SUNDAY AT FOXWOODS, on October 20, 2023 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it
here.

Today, the band has shared the latest single "NEW LOVE." Listen
below.

It's a dreamy, shimmery epic that celebrates the universal emotion of love — in all of its different forms. The song's effervescent charm, escalating tempo, and sonic layers will wrap around you like a hug from the BFF you haven't seen in a year, but just reunited with. Put the top down and crank the knobs to 11.

"In early 2019, I was living in Los Feliz, California, renting out a studio in Burbank from the guys in Chromeo," shares frontman Martin Johnson about the song's origin story. "My room was across from Vaughn Oliver, who was busy creating the Power Tools 1 Sample Pack, and backed up right on Ryland Blackinton's room. We knew each other well from days of touring together as early as 2006, supporting Cartel in different bands, and more recently, on the OP tour in 2009 with Cobra Starship and Boys Like Girls. We finally did some work together touring and writing under my moniker 'The Night Game.'"

Johnson continues, "Ryland seems to always have an eerie pulse on my musical taste. It's one of those relationships where you musically finish each other sentences. I remember one day, Brandon Paddock and I were in the studio working on a record when I heard a beat coming through the wall from Ryland's room. It almost sounded like a Garth Brooks country shuffle from where I sat. I realized I was paying more attention to what I was hearing through the wall than what we were listening to out of the speakers. I stood up and stormed in there, Kramer-style, to see what he was cooking up. 'You like that?,'" he asked."

He finishes, "I didn't answer but instead started singing the chorus vocal pop outs in a melody reminiscent of a Dire Straits riff. We recorded them in and started scatting the in-between lyrics. The first verse came about five minutes later. What Ryland didn't know is that I was two or three weeks deep into the relationship with my now-wife and had plenty to talk about. It had been a really really long time since I had written a love song, maybe five years or so, and frankly, almost every song written for The Night Game had an undertone of darkness, desperation and resentment towards the music industry. I knew i was about to chase her across the country to Nashville and these would be my final days in L.A. and likely the last song I would write on the West Coast for some time. A couple years later at Blackbird Studio in Nashville with the boys, Brandon Paddock, and Dannen Rector, we started to assemble the big crashes and arrangement that you hear today. An alternate production with the original demo drums and keys will be available exclusively on the Target version of the album, available October 20. We're BOYS LIKE GIRLS and this is 'NEW LOVE.'"

The journey towards SUNDAY AT FOXWOODS began in May when "BLOOD AND SUGAR" marked the band's official return, garnering widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike. The track showcased BOYS LIKE GIRLS' evolution, while staying true to their distinctive pop-rock roots, leaving listeners eager for more. "LANGUAGE" further solidified their comeback as it resonated deeply with both longtime fans and newcomers, reigniting the band's musical flame. "THE OUTSIDE" delved into the bittersweet nostalgia of growing up and the power of music to shape one's identity.

With their return gaining momentum, BOYS LIKE GIRLS are also back on the road. The tour promises a dynamic lineup with a variety of openers on select dates, including support from 3OH!3, The Ready Set, LOLO, Four Years Strong, Max Mernis, The Summer Set, Every Avenue, and SayWeCanFly. Taking Back Sunday Share New Single "Amphetamine Smiles" — WATCH + LISTEN

SPECIAL ALBUM RELEASE SHOWS ANNOUNCED

Taking Back Sunday — John Nolan (lead guitar, piano, vocals), Adam Lazzara (lead vocals), Shaun Cooper (bass), and Mark O'Connell (drums) — have shared "Amphetamine Smiles," the third preview track from their forthcoming new album 152, due October 27 via Fantasy.  The new track, a passionate call for reconnection that's as much about the band themselves as it is the world at-large, exemplifies the stirring reassurance that make Taking Back Sunday so special.

Listen to "Amphetamine Smiles"
below.

This morning, fans can tune-in
HERE for special livestream Q&A with Taking Back Sunday at 8:45AM PT/11:45AM ET, 15-minutes prior to the worldwide premiere of the "Amphetamine Smiles" official video at 9:00AM PT/12PM/Noon ET.

"You could document the writing, arranging, and recording of 'Amphetamine Smiles,' but there's no way to explain how it came together," said Nolan. "It's the product of some kind of magic."

To celebrate the release of 152, the band's first album in seven years, Taking Back Sunday announced a series of special, intimate album release shows: November 6 at Lodge Room in Los Angeles; November 9 at Eastside Bowl in Nashville; and November 13 at Bowery Ballroom in NYC. On-sale begins Friday, September 29 at 10:00AM local time.

For more information, visit
here.

In addition, the band also announced the ninth Annual Taking Back Sunday Holiday Spectacular at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh, NY on December 13 and 14, and Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on December 15 and 16. Tickets are on sale now.

Produced by Tushar Apte (whom the band met through a mutual collaboration with noted DJ Steve Aoki) and mixed by Neal Avron (Twenty One Pilots, Bleachers), 152, the long-awaited LP features, 10 intensely vulnerable and absorbing new tracks all delivered with fresh ambition and newfound purpose. Inspired by the long layoff and the cloud of uncertainty that blanketed the world (and music industry) these past few years, 152 stands among the most genuinely reflective and emotionally pure efforts of Taking Back Sunday's illustrious career. Pre-order 152 HERE.

From the album's intricate riffs and anthemic vocals to its elegantly warm synths and economical string arrangements, the quartet work-shopped these new tracks like never before. Previously released single "S'old," struggles with the obligations of adult responsibility and acceptance, while "The One," (also previously released) is a far-reaching anthem of love and brotherhood. "Keep Going" tracks the self-defeating darkness of betrayal, while "Quit Trying," is wrapped with "can't run from who you are" self-awareness. All through 152, the consistent thread is one of generosity, gratitude and ultimately, hope.

HELGA release first single off debut album

Summoning a plethora of layers and genre, HELGA culminate their premier album 'Wrapped in Mist' into dirgeful lamentations of mortality and mental health, punctuated by formidable drums, spectral strings and chugging riffs. The album's first single, 'Skogen mumlar' (The Forest Murmurs), transcends forthwith into emotive dreamscapes that leave hairs trembling on goose-pimpled skin. Ennio Morricone echoing as the intro's muse.

"I've always had a fascination with Swedish folklore," says vocalist Helga Gabriel. "This song is about the forest-dwelling beings from those stories of old."

Watch the haunting video for 'Skogen mumlar' below.

Hailing from the Swedish hinterlands of Dalarna and
Halifax, West Yorkshire, HELGA amalgamated in 2019 in
York, North Yorkshire. United by singer, Helga Gabriel, the
quintet delve into a musical alchemy on their pursuit of
darker manifestations.

“We draw on many different influences from Swedish folk
to progressive metal to post-rock to black metal to pop.
Distilling this into a single style is a challenge.” -Cai S.

Summoning this plethora of layers and genre, HELGA
culminate their premier album Wrapped in Mist into
dirgeful lamentations of mortality and mental health,
punctuated by formidable drumming, spectral strings and
chugging riffs.

The album’s opening track, Skogen mumlar (The Forest
Murmurs), transcends forthwith into emotive dreamscapes
that leave hairs trembling, Ennio Morricone echoing as the
intro’s muse.

But as the journey through Wrapped in
Mist transpires, songs such as Farväl (Farewell) reveal
HELGA’s black metal and darker sensibilities. Bewitching
through this myriad range, the album’s waltzing coda flirts
with a melodic baroque that crescendos with Opeth-esque
climax.

The inception of Wrapped in Mist promises to plunge
HELGA deep into the spotlight of mesmerising live
performances following release. From the hills and forests
of rural dwelling, this is a band destined for a journey worth
following.

Lake Malice Announce Debut EP "Post-Genesis" & Release Brand New Single "Mitsuko"

WHAT THE PRESS ARE SAYING:

“Lake Malice are the UK’s most exciting new alt.metal band.”

Kerrang!

“They are destined to be the talk of the town. Dark, chaotic and devilishly fun, they ebb and flow between techno breaks and towering heaviness.”

Metal Hammer

“The sound of British heaviness to come.”

Rock SoundOne of the UK heavy music scene’s most exciting prospects, Lake Malice, have today released their raging new single ‘Mitsuko’, which they describe as “the pissed off love child of Linkin Park and Pendulum, wrapped up in the unfiltered aggression of Loathe.” The track will feature on their debut EP ‘Post-Genesis’, which the duo have announced will be released 27th October via SO Recordings (Enter Shikari / Placebo / Deaf Havana). As well as being destined for a digital release (pre-save now), ‘Post-Genesis’ will be available as a limited edition 12” vinyl HERE or at the band’s plethora of upcoming live dates (from release date, and while stocks last).

Alice Guala (vocals) and Blake Cornwall (guitar/production) explain of the track:

"Mitsuko is a deeply personal and intense torrent of ‘full-on rage’, dealing with the complexities of family values, and raw emotions of a fragmented childhood. The title takes inspiration from the original ‘Battle Royale’ manga, where the character Mitsuko shares a similar struggle of family heartbreak and abandonment.”

Following extensive touring with the likes of As Everything Unfolds, Bloodywood, Skindred, Vukovi, Vended and Enter Shikari this year alone, Lake Malice are only now announcing their first ever headline shows across Europe, which will culminate in a date at The Black Heart in London on 6th December. Lake Malice really hit the ground touring in 2023, also delivering overwhelmingly energetic sets at festivals such as The Great Escape, Download and 2000trees, at which Kerrang! proclaimed they “have no right to be burning this hot already.”

Lake Malice have been assuredly unleashing a string of innovatively heavy alt-anthems for a post-Pandemic world since 2021. This year’s ‘Bloodbath’ and ‘Stop The Party’, which will also appear on the forthcoming EP, have taken things up a gear, lighting up the airwaves of BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio, as well as receiving love from outlets like Kerrang! Online, Rock Sound and Metal Hammer and many more. The band’s unique splicing of hyperpop and metal also earned them two nominations at the Heavy Music Awards this year in the ‘Best UK Breakthrough Artist’ and ‘Best Breakthrough Live Artist’ categories.

NEW ALBUM SYMPTOMS OF SURVIVAL OUT NOVEMBER 3

here

The band has dropped the video for "
Path to Your Grave." Watch it below

"'Path to Your Grave' was written in mind as 'Fragments Part Two,'" says Emma Boster. "'Fragments' is written about my struggle of my relationship with my stepfather, who was manipulative, controlling, and abusive towards me. That mistreatment has resulted in a lot of unhealthy habits and patterns in my life that I have struggled to move on from. 'Fragments One' was me talking about my experience publicly for the first time. After expressing my grief, the song concludes with 'I would bury you if I could.' This song also concludes with the same seven words but has a different outlook. Since releasing 'Fragments,' I have grown to a new level of acceptance with my trauma and this song is about that acceptance. The anger and the hurt is still there, but now, it just stings a little less. It has a much more triumphant expression."

Dying Wish will also hit the road next month. All dates are below.

Delivering an extraterrestrial late summer banger, AMARANTHE once again demonstrates their versatility, and the six-piece succeeds in keeping the world on their toes with their ongoing, high-quality output.

AMARANTHE's Olof Mörck states: "As the release of "The Catalyst" draws ever nearer, we are now very proud and super excited to unveil the second single from the album - "Insatiable"! Contrasts collide like a cataclysm in this ultra-heavy, yet outstandingly catchy groove-monster, which bears all the hallmarks of a classic AMARANTHE hit, and then some!
We once again teamed up with long-time collaborator and director extraordinaire Patric Ullaeus, for an all-out, take-no-prisoners video to go along with the song. Beyond that, this is a song you will NEED to hear live on our upcoming tour with our friends in DRAGONFORCE in the USA, so remember to practice those lyrics! And see you all soon!"

'Insatiable' is the second single from AMARANTHE's forthcoming album The Catalyst, that will see the light of the day on February 23rd, 2024, via Nuclear BlastRecords. The Catalyst is the most conceptually coherent piece of work in AMARANTHE's storied history. Dedicated to notions of transformation and revelation, it delves deeper than any previous album, as Olof Mörck explains.

"We’ve done these things before, but we’ve never been as theatrical as we have this time," Mörck grins. "In fact, we all questioned whether we went too far this time, but I also figured that this band was always this way. Literally, the first seconds of our first video was a big explosion! But yes, The Catalyst is more theatrical than ever. We’ve never really been symphonic or orchestral before, but this time we just thought why not? Because we can! The key to this album is that we let go of the boundaries and decided to do something even more adventurous."

The Catalyst represents the culmination of 15 years of hard work and the breathless pursuit of a wholly original musical vision. Change is inevitable. Victory is assured.

Formed in 2008, AMARANTHE walked their own unique path from the start. With a sound that combined the sharpest, cutting edges of melodic metal, electronic rock and razor-sharp pop, their impact was immediate and undeniable. Kicking off with their self-titled debut in 2011, the Swedes blazed a trail through the European metal scene and beyond, swiftly establishing themselves as a dazzling one-off, not least due to the unprecedented triple vocal attack that paired clean tones with exquisite melodic sensibilities and feral growls. Over the next few years, the sextet steadily grew in stature, releasing a series of praised studio records that jabbed persistently at the boundaries of modern metal.

AMARANTHE is:
Elize Ryd | vocals
Mikael Sehlin I growls
Nils Molin | vocals
Olof Mörck | guitars, keyboards
Johan Andreassen | bass
Morten Løwe Sørensen | drums

ON THORNS I LAY Warn The End Is Coming on New Single

On Thorns I Lay are perennial doomsayers. For 20+ years, these Greek titans have been crafting immense tales of loss and despair. But on the new single off their upcoming album, they warn of a fast-approaching apocalypse that's so powerful, it might be too late for us to escape.

Watch the beautiful and barren video for "Thorns of Fire" below.

'On Thorns I Lay' comes out October 13.

"Thorns of Fire" is the grand finale on the band's upcoming self-titled album. So it's fitting that the song leaves us with a dark and doomy depiction of our final days. Cymbals crash with the  impending force of rising tides, while the riffs fall like acid rain, leaving no choice but to bang our heads as we face our inevitable demise.

"'Thorns of Fire' is about the crimes humanity has committed against the seed of life". says On Thorns I Lay.

Halfway through its near eight-minute runtime, "Thorns of Fire" simmers into a somber instrumental interlude. Ominous flute swirls amidst somber pricks of Christos Dragamestianos' tamboura, only for vocalist Peter Miliadis to swallow the near silence with his unholy inferno of a death growl.

"We humans defy the ways and laws of Nature," the band says,  "but we will not escape from its wrath and revenge!"

On Thorns I Lay started as a death metal band together with other cult bands in Greece in the early 90’s such as Rotting Christ, Septic Flesh, Necromantia, Nightfall and started to spread their name in the local and global underground scene.

The band has released 9 albums so far such as Orama, Crystal Tears, Aegean Sorrow and Threnos gaining great reviews in (Scream Norway, album of the month, Inferno Finland 5/5, Metal Storm Top 5 albums of 2020 and many others…). The have shared the stage with great bands such as Dream Theater, In Flames, Anathema, Amorphis, Katatonia, Rotting Christ, Tiamat, The Gathering, Satyricon, Septic Flesh and many more…

Their music style is pure atmospheric melodic doom death metal!

“Threnos”, their last album, followed the path of atmospheric, yet emotional Doom Death Metal – paying tribute to the roots and representing the trademark sound of the band once again. On Thorns I Lay continue to tell dense stories of loss and despair.

After their mini tour at the Baltic states with Rotting Christ  they signed a deal with the world famous record label Season Of Mist and they have finished the recordings of their 10th album entitled ‘On Thorns I Lay to be released in 2023.

Craig Morgan recruits Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Gary LeVox, Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton and Lainey Wilson for new project, Enlisted

On the heels of being sworn into the U.S. Army Reserve live on the Grand Ole Opry stage this summer, country music hit-maker, author and Army veteran Craig Morgan is announcing a forthcoming brand-new EP, Enlisted, set to release October 20 on Broken Bow Records.Morgan recruited several of his famous friends — Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Gary LeVox, Jelly Roll,Blake Shelton, and Lainey Wilson — for the six-song project, which features new versions of some of Morgan’s biggest hits, as well as two brand-new songs.

“Making this record has been so much fun because I got to get in the studio with some of my friends and also re-create some of my catalog in a way that feels like brand-new music,” shares Morgan.

Opening Enlisted is the working-class anthem, “Raise The Bar,” one of the EP’s two brand-new songs, which Craig sings with friend and neighbor, Luke Combs. And bookending the six-song project is “That Ain’t Gonna Be Me” with Trace Adkins, a song that spells out the importance Morgan places on his convictions. “I’m gonna put my hand up, I’m gonna stand up for what I believe,” he sings. “For me, it’s about God and family and country,” he says. “I am so blessed, and I recognize the blessings of the freedoms we celebrate in this nation.”

Among the newly reimagined tracks is “Almost Home” featuring Jelly Roll, who spoke with Billboardearlier this year about how the song impacted his life during his incarceration and inspired him as an artist. The pair gave an emotional performance of the song live on the Grand Ole Opry stage together last year in addition to a surprise appearance during Morgan’s sold-out concert stop at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Jelly shares: “This song is full circle for me. It’s about situations you are sometimes in that you just mentally want to be somewhere else — ‘Almost Home’ — it’s something that I listened to in jail. Me and my cellmates could really relate to it. When I got out, I spent what little money I had and went to see Craig Morgan at the Grand Ole Opry and cried when he sang it.”

Lainey Wilson lends her stellar talents to a reimagined take on “International Harvester.” “It’s an absolute honor to be a part of this record,” said Wilson “I remember the first time I ever heard ‘International Harvester’ and the feeling I got knowing that there was music being written that felt like it was made just for me. I come from a family of farmers, so it’s really a full circle moment to be on this track alongside my good friend Craig.”

Also included in the collection is “Redneck Yacht Club,” a collaboration with longtime  friend Blake Shelton, who made a cameo in the original song’s official music video in 2005. Shelton shares: “Craig and I have been friends for many years. I’m a fan of his music and admire him as a human. After all ofthese years, I still don’t understand why he still feels the need to wear that toupee, but I’m thrilled he asked me to sing with him on ‘Redneck Yacht Club.’”

Last week, Morgan kicked off his popular “God, Family, Country Tour 2023,” in partnership with Operation Finally Home. Morgan and special guests The Reeves Brothers will play thirteen theater and auditorium dates through the end of October. Tickets and VIP experience packages are on-sale now atCraigMorgan.com

His 2023 headlining tour follows last fall’s release of his personal memoir — God, Family, Country, which Craig wrote with Jim DeFelice, #1 New York Times bestselling co-author of American Sniper. The book chronicles Craig’s road to success, from his humble childhood in Tennessee to his years as an elite military operative to his country music stardom. Country music fans and thrill seekers alike will love this intimate look at Craig’s remarkable life. Learn more HERE

Morgan previously served seventeen years in the Army and Army Reserve with the 101st and 82ndAirborne Divisions as an E-6 Staff Sergeant and Fire Support Specialist and including Airborne, Air Assault Jumpmaster and Rappel Master among his certifications. He is now returning to serve his country in a new way – as a soldier in the Army Reserve. The newly sworn in Staff Sergeant and Warrant Officer candidate will continue touring and releasing new music in his civilian career while simultaneously serving our country in the Army Reserve.

NEW ALBUM SUPERBLOOM OUT NOVEMBER 3 VIA SOLID STATE RECORDS

TOURING WITH DAYSEEKER

California metal band SILENT PLANET will release their new album SUPERBLOOM. It arrives November 3 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it
here. The release date is significant for the band, as it arrives on the anniversary of their horrific van accident. But it is also a testament to their resilience!

Today, the band shares the video for new single "
Anunnaki." Watch it below

Singer Garrett Russell cryptically says, "Something stirs in the forest. Under the smoldering shadow of Mt. Shasta, extending to the forgotten reaches of the Lost Coast. Our footsteps dredged up the last rites of an annihilated people; their suffering-turned curse coalesced into a blighted, blasphemous body. Listen closely. Behind the serene forest song hangs a dissonant note. A blood-thirsting shriek swings in the air, wrapping the fallen boughs of sequoias… resounding through the valley. Descendants of an ancient race — beings crossed between humans and beings from another dimensions - they remain and and hold the memory of the native martyrs. Their presence demands vengeance. They are the forgotten giants. They are the Anunnaki."

Silent Planet have consistently transfixed a diehard fanbase. The group dropped a string of acclaimed albums, including The Night God Slept [2014], Everything Was Sound [2016], When The End Began [2018], and Iridescent[2021]. Album standout "Trilogy" generated 5.3 million Spotify streams to sit alongside their genre-bending triumph "Panic Room" from the 2016 release, currently at 5 million. The guys notably took home "Best Underground Band" at the 2017 Alternative Press Music Awards and toured with the likes of Motionless In White, August Burns Red, Beartooth, and The Contortionist.

Over the course of two years, they recorded what would become SUPERBLOOMin Woodland Hills, CA alongside longtime producer and frequent collaborator Daniel Braunstein. A jarring turn of events split the process into two seasons. Trekking through a Wyoming snowstorm in November 2022, Silent Planet survived a vehicle accident. The van flipped over, leaving the group laying in the wreckage of a bitter Wyoming snowstorm as Garrett was hospitalized with a fractured back and head wound requiring stitches.

"The majority of us were awake when we felt the van start to slide," he says. "We had some time to come to grips with the fact we were about to go down and have a close brush with death. Afterwards, we talked about what to do with the band. We went back into the record with an increased willingness to take risks. It bolstered our confidence to try new things. When the accident happened, it did something to my head, and it fed into the album."

Along the way, they settled on a conceptual framework, expanding the scope of their vision like never before. "I grew up in Northern California," he continues. "There's a strip of the state known as Humboldt County, but it's called the 'Lost Cove.' It's a hotbed for strange and paranormal events like UFO and Big Foot sightings. There's so much we haven't uncovered. It's possible our reality as we know it is not complete. We started telling the tale of a 17-year-old who went missing. It's based on a true story with many details changed. Art dictates reality, and reality dictates art. Making this record was a very strange and mystical process. It's the most magical and inspired moment of our career so far.

Silent Planet will return to the road this September, supporting Dayseeker. All dates are below, including Silent Planet headline shows.

CREEPER SHARE "BLACK HEAVEN" VIDEO — WATCH

BAND TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM SANGUIVORE ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13 VIA SPINEFARM

As they prepare to unleash their third full-length album Sanguivore on Friday, October 13, CREEPER have continued to expand the scope of their frenetic, flamboyant goth-punk heart that took their previous album, Sex, Death & The Infinite Void into the Top 5 of the Official Album Chart. First "Cry To Heaven" came across like an unholy union between The Sisters of Mercy and Glenn Danzig, before "Teenage Sacrifice" channelled the ire and anthemic punch of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden in their early '80s pomp.

Now, CREEPER embrace a darker side of black with their new single "
Black Heaven."

Watch the visualizer
below.

"Black Heaven" adds new sonic elements to CREEPER's swaggering gothic heart, with looming, ominous synths entangled like barbed wire around Ian Miles' serrated riffs, which recall the sinister side of electro-pop and the darkwave scene of the early '80s. Presenting an important moment in the story between the album's core characters, Spook and Mercy, the vocal interplay between William Von Ghould's baritone croon and Hannah Hermione'ssweetly alluring vocal harmonies provides another standout touch, which was inspired by Nick Cave's collaboration with the McGarrigle Sisters on the Bad Seeds' track "Hallelujah."

William Von Ghould says, "This song allows us to show a new side to the band and sees us experimenting with electronic elements properly for the first time. Taking influence from Depeche Mode and New Order, we try to push the boundaries of our sound out further than they’ve been before."

Produced by Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Royal Blood), the upcoming Sanguivore album finds CREEPER going larger-than-life in every conceivable way, from Jim Steinman-style ripping rock operas to Billy Idol's punk/sleaze hybrid and the moody heavyweight electro-rock of Gary Numan. In a world that's getting darker by the moment, the vampiric thrills of Sanguivore offers fans a fantastical escape into the unknown, and one that's full of Easter eggs for those fans who thoroughly immerse themselves within every detail of the record.

Sanguivore is available to pre-order HERE.

Joining the previously announced four vinyl variants which come with a signed art print are some new formats: a limited edition red cassette, and a limited edition card sleeve CD with alternate artwork.

After a surprise second stage headline set at Download and then playing theOVO Arena Wembley as part of the Heavy Music Awards, CREEPER recently announced a London Lafayette show under their alter ego The Ghost Brigade, which sold out instantly. The band will then embark upon the "Sacred Blasphemy" headline tour in November, which concludes with a second much larger London show at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire and is also about to sell out. Remaining tickets for the tour, dates listed below, are available HERE.

WINGER's 1988-1993 ALBUMS COMPILED IN NEW BOX SET, ALONG WITH A BONUS DISC OF DEMOS

One of the most-aired hard rock bands on MTV during the late '80s and early '90s was Winger, a band who had it all – expert chops, chart success, arena tours, etc. And now for the first time ever, the band's best-selling albums will be compiled together in the new box set, Chapter One: Atlantic Years 1988-1993 – which will be released on November 17, 2023 via Atlantic/BMG, and will be available as both vinyl and CD versions.

Included will be the band's self-titled debut from 1988 (which spawned the hits "Madalaine," "Seventeen," and "Headed or a Heartbreak"), In the Heart of the Young from 1990 (which gave us "I Can't Get Enuff," "Miles Away," and "Easy Come Easy Go"), and Pull from 1993 (which contained "Down Incognito").

And long-time fans of the band – whose classic line-up was comprised of singer/bassist Kip Winger, guitarists Reb Beach and Paul Taylor, and drummer Rod Morgenstein – will probably be most intrigued by the inclusion of the fourth disc, Demo Anthology, which includes original demo versions of Winger's biggest hits. Additionally, the set will be newly remastered by Ted Jensen – with the remaster process overseen by Kip Winger.

“I’m very proud of this box set.  It captures an unforgettable era for the band and these are the only remasters I officially endorse.” – Kip Winger

Still rocking to this day – the band issued their seventh studio effort overall in 2023, the appropriately titled Seven. Kip Winger is also a respected and successful symphonic composer, having issued recordings under the name C.F. Kip Winger, while Reb Beach has been a member of Whitesnake since 2002, and Rod Morgenstein has served as a professor at Berklee College of Music (in addition to playing in a variety of other more jazz-fusion-based projects).

To obtain all of Winger's definitive LP's in one fell swoop, Chapter One: Atlantic Years 1988-1993 covers all the bases – and then some!

GO AHEAD AND DIE | RELEASE ANIMATED VIDEO FOR SECOND SINGLE 'DESERT CARNAGE'

Arizona death-crusters GO AHEAD AND DIE will deliver their caustic sophomore album Unhealthy Mechanisms on October 20th via Nuclear Blast Records. A torrential whirlwind born from the livid minds of Igor Amadeus Cavalera (HEALING MAGIC) and Max Cavalera (SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY). This new installment to the band's dystopian catalog is a fresh dive into the madness of society and the pollution that ravages our minds.

'Desert Carnage' is the pummeling opener to Unhealthy Mechanisms. Brainchild of Igor Amadeus Cavalera, this track takes listeners on a fiery journey through an apocalyptic desert inspired by their home state of Arizona. Check out the frantic single that encompasses some of Igor's best riffs on the album.

Igor Amadeus Cavalera comments, "'Desert Carnage' is a blistering fast song that is as scorching hot as the Sonoran desert itself. The barbaric theme of the song stems from the cruelness and inhospitable terrain of the desert, as desolate and unkind as a place can be."

NEW ALBUM TETHER OUT OCTOBER 6 VIA SHARPTONE

BAND TOURING WITH BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE THIS FALL

Gold-selling hard rockers Of Mice & Men — Aaron Pauley (bass + vocals ), Valentino Arteaga (drums), Alan Ashby (guitar), and Phil Manansala(guitar) — will issue their new album Tether on October 6 via SharpTone. Pre-order it
here.

They've just shared the third single "
Indigo." Listen to and watch the visualizer below.

"'Indigo' is about questioning why the sky would choose to be blue if it had the choice to be anything else — blue also meaning sad," states Pauley. "It's about comforting a loved one in a time of loss by telling them you feel blue, too."

Taking all creative matters into their own hands, the Southern California quartet self-produced and engineered all of the songs on Tether, their astonishing eighth album. Pauley mixed and mastered the album while Arteaga designed and painted the album's artwork. As a legion of devoted listeners worldwide has come to expect, guitarists Phil Manansala and Alan Ashby, Aaron, and Tino poured their hearts and souls into every note, creating another sonic document of their lives.

“With this one, we weren’t really focused on how it sounded as much as we focused on how it felt," Pauley explains. "And that's a weird thing to do when all you're working with is sound. But that was really the goal. And we walked away from making it, feeling like we've accomplished that."

OM&M take sobering looks at depression, anxiety, loneliness, and existential dread, powering through the darkness, and emphasizing the importance of creativity as a balm for mental health. A commanding tempest of sounds coalesces within Of Mice & Men, blending the uplifting eloquence of modern active rock with the atmospheric dissonance of experimental post-rock. The band first emerged as part of a vanguard of future aggressive rock hitmakers. Over the years, they've distinguished themselves with musicality, creative ambition, and resilient determination.

Album eight is no less ambitious. Tether is anchored by a reflective meditation on what it means to draw together as friends, family men, artists, and bandmates. What does it mean to be there for the people who depend on us, knowing we can’t fully protect them from the hardships of life?

Tether is the next step in OM&M's evolution, combining their core sound with experimental and ethereal sound designs. The creative process focused on the excitement of discovery rather than preconceived "goals." Pursuing the moments when the elusive "x factor" reveals itself in the songs. Those moments are palpable in songs like "Integration," "Warpaint," "Enraptured," and "Indigo."

The Of Mice & Men core since 2016 – Aaron, Alan, Tino, and Phil – maintain a powerful bond with their audience and each other, no matter the obstacles. Whether a powerful anthem or atmospheric confession, their songs translate in intimate clubs and massive festivals. "It's about creating moments for people," Pauley says. "Music is the soundtrack to people's lives."
