Orbit Culture Release Live Video For "The Storm" + North American Tour Starts 2/18

Right before embarking on their next quest — an extensive tour throughout USA and Canada with support coming from Ov Sulfur and Atlas — ORBIT CULTURE are releasing a live video for the fan-favorite "The Storm," which was filmed by Riivata Visuals and Grimvisions during their highly successful European tour last winter.

Watch the video below.

The band comments, "This video for 'The Storm' documents our last headline tour. Most of the footage was shot in Gothenburg, close to where we come from. Watching it now brings us back to a night that carried real weight — intense, focused, and honest. It was a defining moment for us, and 'The Storm'
reflects that feeling without needing to explain it."

It marks another video for their acclaimed album Death Above Life that was released to overwhelmingly positive feedback by fans and media in October of last year.

"The album represents change, a new beginning," says guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Niklas Karlsson. "It brings up a lot of good and bad emotions but it’s a big change for the better. It feels like a rebirth."

Catch them on the upcoming dates, posted below.

Hailing from the small town of Eksjö, Sweden (located between the revered metal cities of Gothenburg and Stockholm), the quartet (guitarist and vocalist Niklas Karlsson, guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt) have grown into a global force, melding together riffs that are equal parts thrash, death metal and industrial with arresting hooks and a layered atmosphere that invites comparison to Gojira, Metallica and Static-X while carving out something that is uniquely their own. Orbit Culture are a band poised. They are the sound of metal in the most modern sense.

Lead guitarist Tony Childs discusses the song, "The Storm is a powerful anthem about overcoming overwhelming odds, confronting fear head-on, and pushing through danger to achieve your dreams. It’s a story of resilience—fighting through obstacles and challenges that would typically stand in your way, proving that with determination, anything is possible."

About the video for The Storm Tony adds, "The recent L.A. wildfires had a direct impact on members of the Electric Temple project, many of whom call Los Angeles home, as well as their friends and families. This video was a way to express gratitude to the brave men and women who risked their lives to fight the fires and protect Los Angeles County in January 2025."

About Electric Temple
Electric Temple was formed in 2024 by guitarist Tony Childs and features Andrew Freeman (Last in Line, Lynch Mob, Offspring) on vocals, Mike Duda (W.A.S.P.) on bass, Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr. Big, KIX) on drums. Guitarist/songwriter/producer Tony Childs was formerly in the band Shanghai. Their combined forces deliver a sonic experience beckoning flavors from modern rock, post grunge and that magic era when bands like Sabbath, Dio and Judas Priest established themselves as the Godfathers of the “hard rock/metal” genre.

In their quest to keep the flames of rock burning bright, Electric Temple champions the belief that “Rock is Religion”. This mantra fuels their relentless pursuit of sonic excellence and their mission to ignite passion in the hearts of all who embrace that old school rock and roll spirit.
