Fabio Lione took care of most of the lyrics and vocal melodies together with new co-vocalist Claudia Layline, while Nick Savio worked hard on songwriting and arrangements. The album was produced by Nick Savio and Fabio Lione and mixed by Simone Mularoni (DGM, Sunstorm). “Renaissance” represents a promise and a statement from Eternal Idol: to be one of the absolute best symphonic/melodic metal releases of the year!

"This is the album I have dreamed of making my entire career. We had a vision and made it with no compromise. Claudia and Enrico are the perfect new additions to complete our symphonic/hard/melodic sound that we wanted to achieve. The first video, “Into The Darkness,” is the most epic video of the band thus far….simply fantastic and we love how it turned out. When the time comes, we are ready to hit the stage and share these new songs with all of you," says Nick Savio.

Fabio Lione adds, "This is a new step for the band. Great songs, production, and overall sound make this record really special. Each song is unique and I'm sure people will love it!!!"

"I'm glad to be part of this amazing project and this great band. With my bandmates, it was immediate cohesion, both artistic and musical. We quickly realized that we're going in the same direction and the creative process that led to the new album was very natural and the result is a real bomb! The video for "Into the Darkness" is majestic, we really put our heart into it and I can't wait to share it with everyone," says Claudia Layline.

Eternal Idol is a symphonic/melodic metal band formed by Rhapsody and Angra vocalist Fabio Lione and Italian guitarist Nick Savio of Hollow Haze. Their plan was to create a new and original sound which could catch symphonic metal fans by surprise. In fact, Eternal Idol offers an intriguing mix of classic metal, symphonic rock, and a few progressive metal twists.

The band’s debut, “The Unrevealed Secret” was released in December 2016 and received an overall excellent response. The band toured Europe and Italy in support of the release in early 2017. Original co-lead singer Giorgia Colleluori and drummer Camillo Colleluori left the band afterward to pursue different musical projects, but eager to keep Eternal Idol going, Nick and Fabio later regrouped. They brought in new members up-and-coming vocalist Claudia Layline and drummer Enrico Fabris to join themselves and original bassist Andrea Buratto (Secret Sphere, Hell In The Club) to complete the lineup. Re-energized and with a brand new album under their belt, the band is now ready to once again unleash its baroque metal sound on the world!

... and Oceans Stream Entire New Album

Symphonic black metal formation ...AND OCEANS have teamed up with Invisible Oranges for the premiere of their new album, 'Cosmic World Mother,' ahead of its May 8 release. The record, which is the first new music from the band in 17 years.

Guitarist Timo Kontio comments: "We are so excited to present the new record 'Cosmic World Mother' of ...and Oceans, after 17 years since the latest album, 'Cypher.' We have waited a long time for this day to come. Let the music and Adrien Bousson's visuals take you on a journey beyond!"

'Cosmic World Mother' will be released on May 8. It cane be ordered HERE.

The fumes of Scandinavian black metal were poisoning the air and the second wave of black metal had taken a new form. …AND OCEANS emerged in this scene in 1995, with an exceptional and unique symphonic approach to the music. Still seeking the musical path to take, the Finns delivered a few demos before signing to Season of Mist 22 years ago.

At this point, the band had already found its path to walk, shaping the music and lyrics away from the regular black metal outfits and topics with ambient parts and lyrics twisting the reality, using different languages and aiming to provoke and confuse.

In 1998, debut album 'The Dynamic Gallery of Thoughts' received strong feedback in the media and the word got out at a fast pace, lead to a split album with label mates BLOODTHORN. Sophomore album 'The Symmetry of I, The Circle of O', released 1999, pushed the boundaries even further.

Entering the Abyss Studios with the Tägtgren brothers in 2000 changed the whole band once again. The album ‘A.M.G.O.D.’ was musically very far from the early symphonic black metal delirium with its electronic post-modern approach.

After touring with MARDUK, MORTICIAN and VADER, …AND OCEANS re-entered Abyss Studios to record a more elementary album featuring industrial and power electronics vibes. In 2002, when the last album 'Cypher' was released, the band had reached its full circle and decided to call it a day.

17 years later, a newfound energy stirred, and the Finns decided to reform for a selected amount of shows. Soon the musicians started working on a new album and came back to the Season of Mist fold. A couple of new faces have recently joined the band, including vocalist Mathias Lillmåns (FINNTROLL). …AND OCEANS’ new album ‘Cosmic World Mother’, sees the Finnish metal outfit return to a ferocious black metal sound, combined with industrial and symphonic influences. The songs are bristling with creativity and energy, intertwining the …AND OCEANS sound with elements from the different projects the musicians have played in over the years.

On the record, the six piece explores the transformations of physical and psychological energy. When we die, our bodies become energy for plants and animals… But what happens to the mind and the soul? The ‘Cosmic World Mother’ is at the heart of these streams of energy: the birthgiver, the one who transforms and the life-taker. All energy is eternal, it just changes forms…

Female-fronted Symphonic groove metal band, TULIP, are streaming their new album High Strangeness today on BraveWords.com. The album will be available on all digital outlets April 4, 2020.

“In an age of singles, High Strangeness connects us with the music making traditions of the past where an album is representative of a complete thought; the weaving together of several threads into one cohesive story. The sonic landscape is set with each section, Above, Below and Within, while the lyrical narrative connects ideas of the supernatural, malevolence, and time" says the band's vocalist Ashleigh Semkiw.

Forged in the fire of excommunication, Texan transplants ‘Tulip’ deliver their own brand of symphonic metal, spearheaded by ex-professional opera vocalist Ashleigh Semkiw, and Colin Parrish on guitar.

Their story is a unique one. Publicly shamed, ostracized and cast out of the church, Semkiw and Parrish formed TULIP - an acronymic nod to their former faith.

Emerging together for the first time in September 2018, the members of Tulip are established artists, having performed for a decade in their respective past acts; Ashleigh in professional opera, Brandon with ONI throughout Europe alongside the likes of Children of Bodom and Lamb Of God, Ryan sessioning across the USA and Canada, and co-lead member Colin as an accomplished recording and mix engineer.

TULIP, their self-titled debut EP was self written, recorded and mixed, and was mastered by the legendary Troy Glessner (Devin Townsend, New Found Glory, Disturbed). The five song collection delivers symphonic metal with a modern groove oriented twist.

Following their first US tour with Swedish metal outfit Evergrey, Tulip went even further with their next recorded effort. The upcoming LP High Strangeness boasts twelve tracks of bone crushing drums, searing guitars and masterful vocals underpinned with full orchestration and layered synths.

Recorded at their home in Argyle, Texas - the LP was born out of a fascination and curiosity both Semkiw and Parrish share for the unexplainable. Avid fans of Coast to Coast AM Radio and Whitley Strieber, they sought to create a musical pilgrimage into the unknown.

The prelude to "Midnight in the Desert" powerfully opens the album with intro audio adapted from the famous "Gimbal Video", setting the record on a trajectory that can't be slowed down. "Communion" investigates the nature of intimate and symbiotic relationships. "Theatre of the Dead" is a folk-like warning story about trust and the demons within, while the danceable "Inner Light" reminds the listener that we are all inevitably forsaken. Having the courage to trust our own intuition is all we need.
