Thrown Are Back With New Single "split"

THROWN ARE BACK WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE "SPLIT"

With "split," thrown make their long-awaited return — and it lands with a real impact. The track feels urgent and unfiltered, channeling frustration and inner pressure into something direct and physical. Listen below.

Lyrically, "split" revolves around losing control, self-doubt, and the exhausting weight of being stuck in your own head. It captures that moment where thoughts start to spiral and nothing seems to move forward. Instead of hiding behind abstraction, the band keep things raw and honest. Lines like "I've gotten used to not knowing what to do" reflect a sense of resignation, while the repeated "split my head in two" becomes a powerful expression of overload — almost like a desperate need to break free from your own thoughts.

Sonically, the track stays true to what has made thrown stand out in the first place, while sounding more refined and focused than ever. Crushing, down-tuned riffs drive the song forward, backed by relentless drums and breakdowns that hit with purpose rather than excess. There's a clear sense of control in the chaos — everything feels tight, intentional, and built for maximum impact without overcomplicating things.

In a short time, thrown have built serious momentum. With millions of streams across platforms and a rapidly growing international fanbase, the band have established themselves as one of the most exciting new names in modern metalcore. Their straightforward, no-frills approach has resonated with listeners looking for something real — something that doesn't rely on trends, but on energy and authenticity.

"split" feels like a natural next step. It takes everything the band have done so far and sharpens it — heavier, more direct, and emotionally clearer. It’s not about reinventing their sound, but about pushing it further and making it hit harder.

Silly Goose Are "Split" With New Video

Buzzy rap x rock news-and-noisemakers Silly Goose are back with an album full of hard rock party jams. As is always the case with the Goose, they don't simply crash the party. They take over the party.

Their new album Keys to the City will arrive on October 17 via Blue Grape Music. Pre-order it here.

Today, Silly Goose shared the video for new single "Split." Watch it below

The song is a bit of a sonic departure for the Goose, who are known for their hands-in-the-air, good-time-all-the-time anthems. Of course it features their signature grooves and rap x rock style, but with a bit more melancholic and moodily melodic vibe, thus showing off the band's dynamics and unexpected vulnerability.

"It's one of the outliers, and it showcases a different side of what we're capable of," singer Jackson Foster states. "The raps are more laidback and low-key, and the hook is sing-y. It's a song about not being ready to move on."

Silly Goose are touring through 2025, supporting Landmvrks this fall, along with headline dates in December. The band will headline shows in Europe in November, and support Hot Milk on select dates.

I See Stars Unleash New Track "SPLIT" + Official Visualizer via Sumerian Records

Electronic hardcore pioneers I See Stars have released their latest banger "SPLIT" and the accompanying visualizer (via Sumerian Records). Speaking about the inspiration behind today's track, vocalist Devin Oliver shared:

'SPLIT' takes you through the highs and lows of our journey as artists, from being signed at 15 and leaving high school to pursue our dreams, to exploring the mental toll and constant self-doubt. It highlights how the industry once felt divided by the machine, splitting artists up & weakening them/stripping them of their power. As you navigate the smoke and mirrors, you’re left with a version of yourself you don’t even recognize, constantly questioning what you’d be willing to do for your dreams. How far are you willing to go? What sacrifices are you willing to make for your dream?"

The band has previously shared "are we 3ven?", "D4MAGE DONE", and most recently, their double-single "Anomaly" and "Drift". Altogether, the tracks have amassed a staggering 13 million streams on Spotify alone and 1.6 million views on YouTube. Stream "SPLIT" here, and watch the official visualizer below.

After having recently toured with Bad Omens, Kim Dracula, and Hawthorne Heights, fans will next have their chance to see the band's incendiary live show this fall on the Death Or Glory North American Tour with Palaye Royale, Weathers, and Diamante.
