SICKSENSE Announce North American Tour Dates, Kicking Off This November

Nu-metalcore quintet SICKSENSE are preparing to bring Funerals to live stages across North America beginning this November. With eight headline dates in the Midwest and Eastern Canada, SICKSENSE will also be appearing as support for MUSHROOMHEAD & FEAR FACTORY, HEAL THE HURT, PRIMER 55, 40 BELOW SUMMER and EYES SET TO KILL. The new EP Funerals is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026.

SICKSENSE are back with “Newsflash,” a hard-hitting new single and music video that marks the next chapter for the band while signaling even more music to come later this year. Blending the band’s signature intensity with a fresh sonic direction, “Newsflash” is both a fearless statement of identity and a bold evolution of the SICKSENSE sound.

Driven by infectious hooks, crushing grooves, and the band’s unmistakable energy, “Newsflash” taps into the frustration of living in a world obsessed with conformity and judgment while turning that tension into an empowering rally cry.

“Newsflash is about being unapologetically you,” says vocalist Vicky Psarakis. “We live in a world where people feel a constant pressure to fit into societal standards that are always evolving, leaving us confused and afraid to show our real self. ‘Newsflash of the week, everyone’s a freak’ is the hook in the chorus that empowers you to be different, weird, quirky. Embrace it, own it. Life is short, we shouldn’t spend it always worrying about what others think.”

Vocalist Robby J. Fonts adds: “People love finding excuses to tear others down. Instead of building their own lives, they live to make everyone else around them as miserable as they are. Newsflash is about pointing out that irony and telling everyone: ‘You know what? Stay miserable. I’m going to live my life how I choose without worrying about what you think of me’.”

He continues: “It’s a fun anthem that’s a throwback to SICKSENSE’s original ‘in-your-face’ attitude while sonically pushing the band forward from where we left off with our ‘Cross Me Twice’ album.”
