SHALLOW SIDE Premieres New Single/Video for "Filters" featuring Elias Soriano of NONPOINT

Stream/Download: HERE

Hailing from Cullman, AL Shallow Side, comprised of Eric Boatright, Heath Fields, Sam Bower & Codey Red, are pleased to announce the release of their new single "Filters". It is the band's first collaboration and they were excited to have Elias Soriano of NONPOINT not only help create parts of the song, but be a part of the music video.

"Filters" is likely the heaviest song in Shallow Side’s catalog, and with a brutally blistering bridge piece by NONPOINT’s Elias Soriano, it should come as no surprise. This song embodies the essence of what the band wanted to achieve in a new album, both lyrically and compositionally.

"Filters" is the 3rd single to released from their forthcoming album RELFECTIONS due out on 7-19-2024 through Thermal Entertainment. Details coming soon.

It's the follow up to "You're The Reason" released in 2023 which brought Shallow Sidemore radio success. The song charted here in the United States at #30 on Billboard; #33 on Mediabase; #14 of SMR; #29 on Auxio charts.

Check out the video here for "You're The Reason" and previous single's video here for "The Worst Kind". The three tracks will appear on REFLECTIONS.

“They say, 'hurt people, hurt people'. 'Heartless' is about 'toxic' relationships and the effects it can have on one, not just in the present but will leech on you and wreak havoc in the future. You can become so numb in the process of it all by taking the abuse, whether it be physical, mental or emotional you become that very thing you hate. After my experience of this, I shut down emotionally, even more than my childhood trauma. I would be transparent out of the gate and state how deadened I’ve become and that I did not want a relationship or anything to build upon. I refused let anyone in. I could not welcome love. It is a virus that transfers easily," says Joey Arena.

He adds, "'Heartless' is my personal favorite to date. A contender to all deep cutter tracks. A song that’s speaks to you and has you coming back for more. Packing a punch out of the gate and delivering a melody that will have you singing along by the second chorus. Sonically charged and rich with exhaustive lyrics, 'Heartless' is the song you didn’t know you needed in your life."

With "Living Dead"behind them, Ovtlier is gearing up to outdo their own personal best with their upcoming release "Heartless". The track was written by the band's lead vocalist and founder, Joey Arena, accompanied by Evan McKeever and Julian Comeau (Loveless). "Heartless" owes its production to Justin DeBlieck (Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White) and Evan McKeever while joining its predecessor as the second single mixed by Chris Dawson (SAUL, Any Given Sin) and mastered by Mike Kalajian (Bad Omens, The Plot In You). With Ovtlier's dedication and a star-studded team of support behind them, the success of "Heartless" as the band's most-accomplished single is inevitable.
