Minneapolis pop-metalcore outfit, SIFYN, cut a little deeper with their brand new track, "Sew Me Up", out now. Taken off the band's forthcoming EP, "Self-Encrypted", set for release on December 4, the track tightens the band's blend of metal with alternative rock, atmosphere, emo vulnerability, and pop-forward melody. Where lead single, "Code", wrestled with the urge to protect someone who has to find their own way, "Sew Me Up", picks up in the emotional whiplash of broken promises and crossed lines. After previous single, "Code", found a home in rotation at Universal Studios: Halloween Horror Nights - Hollywood, SIFYN aim their focus with a track that is far more confrontational. At its core, "Sew Me Up" lives in the moment of stitching yourself back together while reckoning with the part you played in your own undoing.
Speaking on the self-preservation at the heart of "Sew Me Up", founding member and frontman Lukas Magyar shares:
"People always show their true intentions. I've learned over the years to not ignore these signals. Accepting the reality isn't always easy, but there is plenty to be gained in the discomfort."
Drawing weight from metalcore with alt-rock textures, emo's volatility, and pop-minded melodies, SIFYN have found a way to make heavy music with a danceable pulse. Sharpening the contrast between intensity and immediacy, lead singles "Code" and "Sew Me Up" introduce the upcoming "Self-Encrypted" EP as a new phase for the Minneapolis band, one that is colorful while unbridled.
Founded by (ex-Veil Of Maya) Lukas Magyar, SIFYN made their debut with "Marionette" in 2022 and have continued to expand their palette with every release. What began as a creative outlet beyond Magyar's longtime work in heavy music became a space to follow different instincts: bigger melodic swings, looser genre boundaries, and songwriting that makes room for both technical weight and straight-to-the-chest emotion.

For nearly a decade, SIFYN have lived in a state of constant evolution, growing from a studio project into a full-fledged metal outfit comprising vocalist Lukas Magyar, guitarists Mike Green and Dustin Korth, bassist/co-writer Derek Sampson and drummer Avery Frisk.
