With 2021’s Same Truck producing two RIAA Gold-certified No. 1 hits “You Time” and three-week chart topper “Damn Strait” along with current climbing single “It Matters To Her,” Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery continues to deliver fan-favorite tracks with today’s release of Same Truck: The Deluxe Album, available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.

“It’s so exciting to release a Deluxe Edition of the Same Truck album with these additional songs that I have been wanting to share with everyone,” said McCreery. “We played a few of them live before I went on paternity leave, and they went over well with the audience. Plus, I’m happy to have the album out on vinyl. That’s what Gabi and I listen to at home, and I’ve heard from many fans that they were also hoping to get the album on vinyl.”

As a co-writer on all but four of the 18 tracks, Same Truck: The Deluxe Album, produced by Frank Rogers, Derek Wells and Aaron Eschuis, continues to showcase McCreery’s lauded songwriting skills with six new songs, including “On It,” reconnecting McCreery with “In Between” co-writers Jessi Alexander, Jonathan Singleton and Rogers, which was one of three consecutive No. 1 singles from his RIAA Gold-certified album Seasons Change. Celebrated by Billboard as a continuation of “his winning arc of songs pulled from chapters of his own life,” “Small Town Story” finds McCreery joined by his 2013 Platinum-certified Top 10 smash “See You Tonight” co-writers Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell.

Written by McCreery, Rhett Akins and Lee Thomas Miller, the official music video for “It Matters to Her” debuted earlier this week with PEOPLE.com. Directed by Jeff Ray (who also directed McCreery’s videos for “Five More Minutes,” “This is It,” “In Between” and “Damn Strait”), the heartwarming video was filmed while preparations were made for Merrick Avery McCreery’s arrival, featuring a collection of home videos starring his wife Gabi and their dog Moose.

His 2018 No. 1, RIAA Double Platinum-certified hit song “Five More Minutes” (co-written with Rogers and Monty Criswell) has inspired a second movie on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries to premiere on Dec. 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, starring Ashley Williams and Lucas Bryan. Titled Five More Minutes: Moments Like These, the film is not a sequel to last year’s hit Five More Minutes, and has a brand new storyline. McCreery also took home a BMI Award last week for co-writing his No. 1, RIAA Gold-certified hit “You Time,” named one of BMI’s Most Performed Country Songs of 2021. Co-writers to the song Frank Rogers and Aaron Eschuis received an ASCAP Award for the song in the same category.

Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery debuted the official music video for his current single “It Matters to Her” today on People.com. The song, which is rising up the country airplay charts, follows his five consecutive No. 1 hits, including his recent three-week No. 1, RIAA- Gold certified smash “Damn Strait.”

“It Matters to Her” can be found on McCreery’s Same Truck: The Deluxe Album, which will be available this Friday, Nov. 18 on vinyl, CD and digital, and includes six additional new songs not found on the original album that came out last year, including the recently released tracks “Nothin’ Right” and “Small Town Stories.”

The “It Matters to Her” video was filmed in North Carolina and directed by Austin, Texas-based filmmaker Jeff Ray, who has directed four other McCreery music videos (“Five More Minutes,” “This is It,” “In Between,” and “Damn Strait”). Written by McCreery, Rhett Akins, and Lee Thomas Miller, the song was produced by Frank Rogers, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis.

“I wanted to really focus the video on Gabi and our preparations for Avery’s arrival,” said McCreery. “We filmed some of it over the course of several months at home in Raleigh when we were getting the nursery ready. We also filmed some of it at our place at North Topsail Beach. I think you can see in the video how excited we were getting for Avery to get here as well as how amazing Gabi was throughout the entire pregnancy.”

Scotty McCreery to Release "Same Truck: The Deluxe Album" Nov. 18 on Vinyl, Digital & CD

On the heels of three straight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with his RIAA Gold-certified hit song “Damn Strait” and the recent launch of his new single “It Matters to Her,” which was the second most added song at country radio this week, Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery announces the release of Same Truck: The Deluxe Album coming Nov. 18 on vinyl, CD and digital formats. Fans can listen to “Nothin’ Right,” one of six new tracks featured on the deluxe album, today.

“We had more songs I loved ready for the original release of Same Truck than we could put on that album, so I am pumped that Triple Tigers asked me to do a Deluxe Edition where I could add six more songs,” said McCreery. “We’ve also had a lot of requests for a vinyl version of Same Truck over the last year, so I’m excited we can offer that option as well.”

Same Truck: The Deluxe Album was produced by Frank Rogers, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis. The project features 18 songs including the six new tracks: “Falling for a Stranger” written by Eshuis, Travis Wood, and Hannah Ellis; “Here and Ready” by Abe Stoklasa, Sarah Buxton, and Mikey Reeves; “Nothin’ Right” written by McCreery, Jordan Schmidt, Jared Mullins, and James McNair; “On It” written by McCreery, Jessi Alexander, Jonathan Singleton, and Rogers; “Live a Little” written by McCreery, Eshuis, and Blake Chaffin; and “Small Town Story” written by McCreery, Ashley Gorley, and Zach Crowell.

“On It” reunites McCreery with Alexander, Singleton, and Rogers - the writing team responsible for his Gold-certified 2020 No. 1 hit “In Between” from his No. 1 album Seasons Change. “Small Town Story” finds McCreery again joining with Gorley and Crowell, with whom he also wrote his Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “See You Tonight” from 2013.

“We’re performing ‘Nothin’ Right’ in the live shows right now and it always gets a great response,” said McCreery. “Don’t be surprised if a few more of the bonus tracks make their way into our concerts soon.”

“Damn Strait” was McCreery’s fifth consecutive No.1 hit, following the Gold certified singles “You Time” and “In Between,” the Platinum-certified “This Is It,” and the Double Platinum certified “Five More Minutes.” Upon the song’s release, Rolling Stone named it a “Pick of the Week” calling it “clever songwriting, delivered by one of the genres’ best King George disciples,” while Billboard praises, “Another ace is the clever track ‘Damn Strait,’ a rare outside cut on the project, penned by Trent Tomlinson and Jim Collins, in which McCreery name checks several of King George’s greatest hits.” Taste of Country recently named it “one of the top 10 country songs of 2022 so far.”

Both “Damn Strait” and “You Time,” as well as his new single “It Matters to Her” written by McCreery, Rhett Akins, and Lee Thomas Miller, are featured on Same Truck which was released in late 2021. The Garner, North Carolina native shifted his perspective to reflect on the last decade of his career and life with wife Gabi and dog Moose, with Tennessean sharing, “McCreery walks a sonic tightrope that leans into his country influences while not abandoning modern Music Row hitmaking,” while Sounds Like Nashville observed, “those songs ended up showing more maturity than ever, and exploring everything from the common bonds his fans share to the eternal flame of romance.”

McCreery and his wife Gabi announced earlier this summer in People that they are expecting their first child, a boy, to be born in early November.

McCreery has been touring all summer, both on his own as well as direct support to Brooks & Dunn, and Brad Paisley at select shows. He is direct support to Jason Aldean tonight in Saratoga Springs, NY, and will perform a sold-out show at the historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX, site of his “Damn Strait” music video, next Friday, Sept. 23.
