QUEENSRŸCHE ANNOUNCE 'THE ORIGINS TOUR,' WILL PERFORM BOTH THEIR CLASSIC SELF-TITLED EP AND 'THE WARNING'

Although Queensrÿche would score multi-platinum albums and hit singles over their career, their fans have developed an undeniable love for the group's early releases – when they helped trailblaze a style of rock that combined elements of metal and prog. And for the first time ever, Queensrÿche will be performing both classic releases in their entirety as part of 'The Origins Tour.'

Launching on March 22, 2024 in Houston, TX at Hell's Heroes Festival and running until May 12 in Ft. Meyers, FL, 'The Origins Tour' will see Queensrÿche – singer Todd La Torre, guitarists Michael Wilton and Mike Stone, bassist Eddie Jackson, and drummer Casey Grillo – joined on most dates by another highly respected/influential band that also launched in the '80s, Armored Saint.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, November 10 at 10:00am local, and can be purchased via this link:

"We are thrilled to bring to you The Origins Tour!,' says La Torre. "This will be the first time in Queensrÿche's history that the EP and 'The Warning' will be performed live in their entirety. And to make this an even more stellar tour, we are so excited that our great friends and legendary metallers Armored Saint will be joining us as direct support. We are all proud to bring you this touring package and we can't wait to see you on the road."

Originally formed in 1982, Queensrÿche became one of rock's top bands on the strength of such albums as 1986's 'Rage for Order,' 1988's 'Operation: Mindcrime,' and 1990's 'Empire,' the latter of which spawned the hit single/video "Silent Lucidity." The band continues to be successful to this day – as evidenced by their latest studio offering in 2022 (and 16th overall), 'Digital Noise Alliance.'

And La Torre is especially looking forward to these upcoming special performances. "Join us for this unique and very special experience, as we celebrate the origins of Queensrÿche. Take hold!"

QUEENSRŸCHE - RELEASE NEW AI GENERATED MUSIC VIDEO FOR THE SONG "TORMENTUM"

Always thought-provoking and eager to explore new avenues QUEENSRŸCHE are releasing a fully AI generated video for the song “Tormentum”, taken from their latest album, “Digital Noise Alliance”. The video was directed by Above The Void (https://www.abovethevoid.com/) and you can watch it below.

The band about the song and concept of the video: “Driving straight into the horrors of crimes against humanity and the rules of the Geneva Convention, this storyline depicts two characters: one as the vulnerable victim in pain, and the other as the captor trying to extract information. The chorus leads with the powerful chant, “Lights Again”, expressing the person finally opening their eyes staring at the interrogation lights above during the dead intervals of torture. The eyes return to being closed tightly as the sessions begin again. The tale ends up highlighting this never-ending cycle of power, control, and greed.”

With a career that not only spans, but has charted the course of multiple genres, QUEENSRŸCHE remains a force in their own right. “Digital Noise Alliance”, QUEENSRŸCHE’s 16th studio album continues their ever-evolving legacy.

Once again teaming up with producer Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed), “Digital Noise Alliance” not only refracts QUEENSRŸCHE’s past accomplishments but also pushes into the band’s future. It is the band effortlessly moving from strength to strength: immediate and thought-provoking. Quintessentially QUEENSRŸCHE.

In addition to announcing their upcoming headline tour, QUEENSRŸCHE have released a new music video for the track "Sicdeth" off Digital Noise Alliance. Speaking about the song and video, Todd La Torre shares:

"'Sicdeth' is an abstract tale about convicted killers and the fallout of those attached on both sides. How can the victims’ and the assailants’ families overcome such pain? The inmate now has only their mind with which to escape. The song lyrics discretely touch on the very polarizing convicted murderer Jody Arias. The video however was more tailored to the Aileen Wuornos case."

TRAUMA ANNOUNCE US TOUR WITH QUEENSRŸCHE & MARTY FRIEDMAN

Bay Area thrash metal band Trauma have announced a US tour with prog metal vets Queensrÿche early next year – running from March 3rd through April 16th.

Also on the bill will be guitar shredder Marty Friedman, with Spotify presale and local presale beginning on Wednesday, December 7th at 10am local time (and running until Thursday, December 8th at 10pm local time).

Public sale will begin on Friday, December 9 at 10am local time.

“Everyone in Trauma is thankful for the opportunity to be touring all across the US with Queensrÿche on their ‘Digital Alliance’ tour,” says the band in a statement. “Trauma is very excited to be a part of this tour.”

Trauma’s latest album ‘Awakening,’ was issued this past September via Massacre Records, and can be ordered or listened to via this link: https://lnk.to/Trauma-awakening

And the metal community has offered praise for ‘Awakening,’ including Markus' Heavy Music Blog saying, “‘Awakening’ convinces with power and enthusiasm,” Metal Temple adding, “The thrash they play is pure, the voice clean and the production sound,” and the This Day In Metal site stating, “It’s clear to see from their grand return after a 30 year silence that they are still very much so a driving force within the thrash metal scene and “Awakening” is the gateway to the thrashy glory they have always deserved.”

“Trauma is very pleased with the current reaction from fans, journalists and many others in the music business with the current release of our 4th studio album, ‘Awakening’,” says the band. “The release has received many stellar reviews, and write ups from around the world. We are hopeful to gain some new fans along the journey and look forward to possibly touring in Europe, and many other places soon.”

Originally formed in 1981 in San Francisco, Trauma was one of the first heavy metal bands – along with Exodus, Metallica, and Testament – to trailblaze the style now known as “thrash.” And the thrash metal band’s original bassist was none other than the late/legendary Cliff Burton (who would later join Metallica). 1984 saw the release of the group’s debut album, ‘Scratch and Scream,’ before the band parted in 1985. But in 2013, Trauma reunited, and have been back in business ever since.

The group’s current line-up consists of singer Brian Allen (who replaced original vocalist Donny Hillier, who sadly passed away in 2020), Steve Robello (guitar), Joe Fraulob (guitar), Michael Spencer (bass), and Kris Gustofson (drums). – and soon, will be rocking the metal masses on their US tour with Queensrÿche and Marty Friedman.

QUEENSRŸCHE – Release Video for New Single “Hold On”

New Album

“Digital Noise Alliance”

Out Now!

Upon the release of their new studio album, 'Digital Noise Alliance', QUEENSRŸCHEhave released a video clip for the song “Hold On

The band comments: “‘Hold On’ primarily focuses on the misfortune of social media and how this new societal landscape has become a false barometer of ones’ value, essentially, influencing and affecting peoples’ self-worth. Reminding people to not believe everything they see, and to not buy into the glorification of fame, money, and popularity. It strives to empower those that have been blinded by the distorted reality of the glorified social media lifestyles. It is a song reminiscent of older, simpler times.”

In less than a week the band will embark on another US tour with Judas Priest.
