New PHIL X & THE DRILLS Album 'POW! Right In The Kisser' Out NOW via Frontiers Music Srl

PHIL X & THE DRILLS are proud to unleash their latest album, 'POW! Right In The Kisser' to the world! Alongside the release, out via Frontiers Music Srl, the band is sharing the hot fresh track, "Broken Arrow." A new visualizer for the single is below.

About the "Broken Arrow," PHIL X comments:

"I'm really excited for our fans to witness the growth of the DRILLS. Songs like 'Broken Arrow' add a dimension to my songwriting and my voice. I wrote that song after hearing of Chris Cornell's passing which sparked deep thoughts about challenges and dealing with options. There's a lot of depth on 'POW! Right in the Kisser' and I can't wait for the world to hear it."

About the new album, he adds:

"'POW! Right in the Kisser' was a good ten years in the making. 'Battleship' was tracked in 2014. I just kept writing, and we'd record and then kept the whole 'different drummer on every song' thing going. It became a very special collection of songs & vibes. It's very exciting for me to share something like that with the world."

PHIL X & THE DRILLS Share New Single "Fake The Day Away" (Featuring Tommy Lee) + Music Video

PHIL X & THE DRILLS are thrilled to unveil their latest single "Fake The Day Away", accompanied by a music video available below. The track features drumming powerhouse Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe), building momentum for their forthcoming album 'POW! Right In The Kisser', set to release March 28th via Frontiers Music Srl.

On the new single, PHIL X comments:

"I had been in the studio with Tommy Lee many times working on his solo records so it was exciting to get him on 'Fake The Day Away'. I even got the groove from one of his drum solos with Motlëy. It's about waking up on tour in a jet like the first line in the lyrics and really missing my family. Even though it's thematically sad, the song has this frenetic energy to it. ... & Tommy KILLED it."

On the new single, PHIL X comments:

"'Moving To California" was always a dream of mine when I was a young guitar player going up in Toronto, Canada. From a distance, it always seemed like the place to be. When I moved there in '97, a lot of the ROCK glamor was gone, but I stayed and stuck to my goals. The song is a reflection of my story & other stories I had heard along the way."

Right In The Kisser', with an all-star lineup of guest drummers including Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe), Ray Luzier(Korn), and Tico Torres (Bon Jovi), among others.
