ARMORED DAWN Returns with Triumphant New Single & Music Video, “S.O.S.”! Upcoming Album, 'Brand New Way,'

Brazilian Progressive Metal band ARMORED DAWN has blazed back onto the scene with their single and music video, “S.O.S.”. Written by Carolina Angeli and the group's former drummer, Rodrigo Oliveira*, "S.O.S." portrays the feelings of a person suffering with depression, who isolation with their pain, believing that no one will ever understand their feelings or what is happening to her.

Mixed by Chris Lord Alge (Muse, Green Day, Nickelback) and mastered by Ted Jensen (Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, Metallica), "S.O.S.: shows a great evolution in the band's sound. The composition, while bringing the characteristic identity that marked the sound of ARMORED DAWN, expands horizons and will surprise those who have somehow missed the band's work.

The music video for “S.O.S.” was directed by Kahue Rozzi, from SimonSays Filmes. The video shows the meeting of different facets and personalities and the inner child of this lonely and depressive character, who is both the heroine and the villain of her own story.

The current lineup of Armored Dawn, which includes Eduardo Parras (vocals), Tiago de Moura and Timo Kaarkoski (guitars), Heros Trench (bass), Rafael Agostino (keyboards) and Chris Oliveira (drums), continues to work on future releases.

The band's upcoming album, Brand New Way, was produced and recorded at the renowned Dharma Studios, in São Paulo, by Rodrigo Oliveira and Heros Trench, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge and mastered by Ted Jensen, two top names in North American music production. Acclaimed since the 1980s, having won 5 Grammys, Chris Lord-Alge has worked with some of the world's greatest music legends such as James Brown, Prince, Joe Cocker, and Tina Turner, as well as legendary soundtracks such as Rocky IVand Batman.

Sound engineer Ted Jensen, renowned for his work at the renowned Sterling Sound studio, has mastered albums by the Eagles, Jean Michel Jarre, Santana, and Norah Jones, for which he received a Grammy in 2002. In the heaviest fields of music, he worked on the most recent albums by The Pretty Reckless, Death by Rock & Roll, and Death Magnetic, by Metallica, as well as albums by bands such as Korn, Disturbed, Alice in Chains, and Papa Roach.

Create a concept, find the right partners, work to make it all cohesive and invest in the potential to pursue your goals. From this perspective, Armored Dawn appeared in 2014 and became relevant in the Brazilian metal scene. After all, they toured alongside great bands such as Saxon, Megadeth, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Europe, Hammerfall, Rhapsody, Fates Warning, Sabaton, Tarja, in addition to participating in the Motörboat, the cruise of the legendary Motörhead.

The first two albums, Power of Warrior (2016) and Barbarians in Black (2018), were produced by important professionals such as Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Jorn), Bruno Agra (We Are Harlot) and Kato Khandwala (The Pretty Reckless, Papa Roach). The third, Viking Zombie, was produced, mixed and mastered by Rodrigo Oliveira and Heros Trench, who is a veteran producer, with more than 200 bands under his belt and a Latin Grammy winner.

Presenting a sophisticated and versatile metal, the group collects great works in music videos, such as the super production “Sail Away” and “Beware of the Dragon”, shown in all movie theaters in Brazil during the trailers for the movie Aquaman. Besides them, “Ragnarok” and “Animal Uncaged” (recorded at the Rockfest Festival, at Allianz Parque, São Paulo, when they played to around 37,000 people) have millions of views on YouTube.

During the pandemic, they released the single “Stronger Together”, which was very well accepted by the fans. The fourth album in Armored Dawn's career is currently being produced by the band.

SUBWAY TO SALLY’s annual Eisheilige Nacht concert goes virtual with exciting special guests!

Chart-breaking German folk rock institution SUBWAY TO SALLY demonstrate their exceptional live presence once more, carving a unique stage experience in stone with their new BluRay/DVD/CD release, Eisheilige Nacht - Back to Lindenpark (#6 GER album charts).

In an intimate setting, the Potsdam based unit drops a colorful bunch of songs taken from their multifaceted discography and invites its listeners to be part of an exciting adventure, offering some great surprises and performances never heard or seen – till now! One of those highlights embodies the new live-video for the emotional track “Kein Meer zu Tief” (engl. “No Ocean Too Deep”), a song originally by German artist MajorVoice, in which SUBWAY TO SALLY are accompanied by the bass/baritone vocalist.

SUBWAY TO SALLY on the performance:

“At the Eisheilige Nacht 2017 we had Mono Inc. as a guest, who, in addition, had a guest themselves be part of their show. Someone we didn't know till then. A really tall man with an equally great voice was asked on stage during their set. That's how we got to know MajorVoice and immediately invited him to be part of our HEY! tour 2019. In the meantime, we have become close friends. Unfortunately our planned continuation of the joint HEY! tour in 2020 couldn't take place. His appearance at Eisheilige Nacht - Back to Lindenpark is far too small a consolation, but at least it reminds us of better times and stirs the anticipation on what we can do together musically in the future.”

Watch the live video for “Kein Meer zu Tief” (feat. MajorVoice)

In 2020, SUBWAY TO SALLY returned to Lindenpark and - supported by many great artists like Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost), Feuerschwanz, Schandmaul, Saltatio Mortis, MajorVoice and Patty Gurdy - created an extraordinary lockdown live experience withEisheilige Nacht - Back to Lindenpark. In an intimate setting, the recording starts with“Messias” and “Königin der Käfer” from the band’s latest chart-breaking full-length, Hey! (DE #5). SUBWAY TO SALLY then continue to not only travel through their own discography with songs like eerie “Unsterblich”, animated “Tanz auf dem Vulkan” and live-sensation “Grausame Schwester”, but also present a bunch of enchanting features as well: Don’t miss when highly talented Birgit Muggenthaler-Schmack and Saskia Maria Forkert (Schandmaul) join SUBWAY TO SALLY for Schandmaul’s “Dein Anblick” and a premier version of “Kleid aus Rosen”, or when the band sets the exceptional stage on fire for an explosive performance with Saltatio Mortis on their hit “Sie tanzt allein” - just to name a selection.

SUBWAY TO SALLY on Eisheilige Nacht - Back to Lindenpark:

“After 11 years of our "EISHEILIGE NACHT-tradition", we definitely did not want that 2020 will be seen as a red "X" in the history of our festival series. So we thought about how we could provide our fans with the EISHEILIGE NACHT feeling at their homes, when we weren't allowed to tour ourselves. An online concert wasn't enough for us: EISHEILIGE NACHT is not only about meeting friends, but also being a highlight of the year - with several befriended bands performing live on stage.

We wanted to implement all of this in one experience. We wanted to record this very special event where the EISHEILIGE NACHT originally began. Instead of playing a concert in an empty hall, we used the size of the hall, lined up in a circle and placed our guest musicians into our midst. This created new insights that have never been seen before in any SUBWAY TO SALLY concert film! We are very pleased that we can now, as requested by countless fans, record this event for eternity as a special concert film! "

Sensational Balkan metal-folk outfit Manntra unleashes 'Monster Mind Consuming' LP

Mystical goth-rock outfit Manntra has released their cracking album 'Monster Mind Consuming', the second English-language album from frontman Marko M. Sekul and his warriors. At the same time, they've shared lyrics videos for the title track and the Balkan-inspired 'Let's Invite The Storm'.

Mysterious. Powerful. Magical, here Croatian folk influences merge with metal and industrial to create a perfectly staged, highly independent musical symbiosis. Reaching a new dimension in the dark circus, Manntra is a thrill to experience live, the band's sound is unmistakable - A little Rammstein, a little Eisbrecher, plus a Balkan touch in the style of System of a Down. An exciting storm was evoked, which has the potential to lodge itself in many different ear canals.

“This is essentially a war album. A battle cry for life. It covers topics like fear, war, being strong and going through a difficult time or heartbreak, being a slave to your fears and being set free in the end. It's a war against your own insecurities; a war against yourself - and we want you to win this fight! It's about every single fan and listener of the album. It's an album by people for people," says Manntra vocalist Marko M. Sekul.

"We gave this album our all. We created different songs, tried new things with production and wrote the most intense and darkest songs ever. For me, this is the real face of Manntra - A dark journey through folk, industrial and gothic."

From epic, powerful to overwhelming, brute and full of longing and pain, the band has been periodically dropping potent tasters of this epic emotion-filled efolk-metal masterpiece, including singles 'Heathens', 'Barren King', 'Slave' and 'Ori Ori', casting a real thunderstorm of sound, and 'Voices of The Sea', with its more traditional bent.

Written collectively by the band and produced by Sekul, this is a harmonious representation of all five members. Summoning a storm of excitement, their music has enormous earworm potential.

Nautical folk metallers Storm Seeker present their new album 'Guns Don’t Cry' via NoCut Entertainment, in addition to unveiling several videos in a row. The latest is 'Shoot This Ship Down', following the unveiling of both a lyrics video and official video featuring Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen for their latest single 'Deathwatch Beetle Party'.

The Düsseldorf pirates have also released the sea shanty 'Wellerman'on Spotify and Apple Music after a real boom via TikTok, where the song has inspired millions. Apparently this 19th-century sailor's song speaks to many in pandemic times. Storm Seeker's 'Sea Shanty Folk Version' was even briefly featured on NBC news regarding the revival of sea shanties. As a result, they've also just shared a new 'Randy Dandy Oh Sea Shanty Session'.

Music adventurers can expect the full explosion of nautical chants with a vintage sailor look and a new approach to their trademark folk metal sound. With their nautical theme, they serve up a rough and crushing soundscape that is entangled with the sweetness of jumpy folk melodies involving the hurdy gurdy, nyckelharpa, cello and recorder.

"Guns Don't Cry' is our third studio album, where every song is carefully selected and crafted with a passion for detail that lies in the small melodies and instrumental parts. Between the music and these lyrics, we take you on a joyful adventure through the winds and waves of the seven seas," says Stom Seeker frontman Timothy Abor.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by co-producer Marius 'Olaf‘ Bornfleth, this album includes 11 stellar tracks that will take you on a voyage to abandoned shores through winds and storms. Epic battles and mysterious creatures await you, featuring terrific Nyckelharpa and Hurdy Gurdy Solos, fiddley Accordion parts, crushing guitars and thunderous drums.

This time around, frontman Timothy Abor’s rough sailor voice finds accompaniment by some surprising guest vocals as Seeb of Orden Ogan, Mr. Hurley (Mr. Hurley und die Pulveraffen) and Teufel (Tanzwut) lend their epic voices to tell some nautical tales bound to give you crawly goosebumps and crazy neck pain!

Storm Seeker's 2016 debut 'Pirate Scum' EP was followed by steady European gigs amd major festivals. The debut album 'Beneath in the Cold' LP (May 2019), amped things up, bringing them a roaring year, touring with Haggefugg and Vogelfrey and their spring 2020 signing with NoCut Entertainment. Then, despite closed ports all over the world, they faced the storm together, playing shows with MONO INC. all over Germany.

The journey of the small Storm Seeker ship, with its five-member crew, has led them from small harbours, with their unique mix of classic metal ensemble and melodic traditional instruments, to chart completely unknown waters in Germany and Europe.

On March 19, 'Guns Don't Cry' releases in North America on physical media and is already available digitally worldwide and physically in Europe. There is a vinyl edition plus a 6-sided Digipak available, in addition to a limited fan-box containing the album, a high quality embroidered handkerchief, a lovely band-poster and signed autograph card, which can be ordered directly from No Cut Entertainment.

Metal-folk outfit Manntra releases 'Heathens', last dose before unleashing new LP

Overwhelming, brute and full of longing. Mystical goth-rock outfit Manntrahas released their new single 'Heathens'. This is the last epic foretaste of their second album 'Monster Mind Consuming', set for release on March 26, with lively video directed by Ivan Čolić.

The battle has begun. You are on the battlefield and swords, explosions and screams are all around you. You show up and start fighting. You have no mercy. This is the song's attitude that frontman Marko M. Sekul and his warriors felt during the songwriting proces. An incredibly powerful song with a captivating riff that really wants to tell a story, 'Heathens' is like a storm that rolls over you out of nowhere and from which you cannot escape.

'Monster Mind Consuming' is the band's second English-language album. Here, Croatian folk influences merge with metal and industrial to create a perfectly staged, highly independent musical symbiosis. These songs all have what it takes to reach a new dimension in the dark circus.

Epic, powerful and full of pain, the band has been periodically dropping potent tasters of this epic emotion-filled efolk-metal masterpiece, the latest being for 'Barren King', a saga of a leader forever cursed to sail the cold, dark sea, seeking (in vain) a cure for his torments. With nothing but his heart and his faith, the king of outsiders refuses to give up, continuing to forge forward, full of hope in finally experiencing salvation.

Earlier, the band released album singles 'Slave' and 'Ori Ori', casting a real thunderstorm of sound, and 'Voices of The Sea', with its more traditional bent.

Mysterious. Powerful. Magical. On March 26th, the cracking new album 'Monster Mind Consuming' by sensational and mystical folk-rock outfit Manntra will finally be released. Ahead of this, the band previews this epic emotion-filled efolk-metal masterpiece with the single 'Barren King'.
