The song is gritty and guitar-forward, powered by phlegmatic and furious vocals that will make even the finest hairs on your neck stand on end and it's anchored by a memorable melody that just won't quit. The song is like the very halo referenced in the lyrics — and it's what fans want to be handed.

"'Hand Me A Halo' tells the self-narrative of losing one's sense of self and dealing with the intrusive thoughts that come with it," says Benton. "This song came from our own confusion and loss of identity through the changing seasons of life. The fear can be constant, leaving you to question if you just want someone to hand you a halo."

Instead of letting doubts, anxiety, negativity, and intrusive thoughts run wild, Miss May I will catch and turn even the most volatile feelings into airtight anthems. Ohio metalcore favorites MISS MAY I are thrilled to share the first taste of new music for 2026. Today, they drop the video for new single "Die on the Vine," which is full of galloping guitars, plate-shifting breakdowns, and memorable melodies.

"'Die on the Vine' captures a mid-life reckoning — coming to terms with how deeply childhood experiences and unresolved trauma shape who we become," the band explains. "The song reflects the moment where denial stops working and self-awareness sets in. If those patterns are something you have to live with, the choice becomes whether to decay under their weight or grow stronger through them. 'Die on the Vine' leans into that tension, framing survival as adaptation: sharpening your thorns over time instead of letting the damage define you."

Miss May I Share 15th Anniversary Version of "Architect" Feat. Currents

SOLID STATE RECORDS recently signed Ohio metalcore favorites MISS MAY Ito its global roster.

The band announced the awesomely ambitious 15th anniversary edition of its classic, beloved album APOLOGIES ARE FOR THE WEAK (RE-RECORDED 15TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION).The album arrives August 23. Pre-order it here.

The anniversary edition has been entirely re-recorded and features cameos on every single song, ranging from Jake Luhrs of August Burns Red, Brandan Schieppati of Bleeding Through, Scott Lewis of Carnifex, and many others. See the full track listing below.

"This was one of the first songs we ever wrote as a band and it's very special to us," states MMI. "It predates this album and can be found on our first demos. Having [singer] Brian [Wille] on this record is very special because we feel like Currents are our little brothers having taken them out on some of their first tours around the world and watching them grow into the juggernauts they are today. Brian specifically requested to do this track as it was one of his favorites when it was originally released. We are so happy to have him put his spin on it and join us for this celebration."
