Discrepancies released their new single "Recovery," from their forthcoming EP Product Of Entertainment, on February 17th along with the official music video via InVogue Records. The single is already doing well on streaming platforms and radio. The band announced a handful of dates with Until I Wake and a tour this spring with Outline in Color and VRSTY in support.

"'Recovery' is kind of an extention of "Not Alone" in a way. Or maybe a more specific version. Not only letting the listener know they are not alone but also offering details of others walking through the same darkness and finding their way out," says the band's vocalist Antonio Metcalf.

Discrepancies, the Rap/Rock band out of St. Louis, have formed an undeniably powerful and innovative sound. Comprised of Garrett Weakley (Bass), Addison Bracher (Guitar/vocals), Brandon Bollinger (Guitar/vocals), Marc Lyle (Drums), and Antonio Metcalf (Vocals) they have formed a unique take on Rap/Rock incorporating heavy riffs with intense lyricism. In January 2018, Discrepancies signed to InVogue Records. They released “The Awakening” in March of 2018 and had over a million streams in the first week. Madame Mayhem Releases New Single "Inside Out" to all major platforms!

Madame Mayhem has released her new single "Inside Out” to all digital platforms and radio.

The Manhattan born singer/songwriter and burgeoning rock icon-in-the-making has weaponized the darkness, turning it into a rallying cry for all who were ever cast aside. Songs like “Broken,” “War You Started,” “So Wrong,” “Breaking Down,” “Cruel Heart,” and “I Am More” are equal parts timeless sentiment, bare knuckle fury, and energized urgency.

As is the new single “Inside Out” - written by Madame Mayhem and Keith Wallen. It was produced by Johnny K (Disturbed, Megadeth, Sevendust, Finger Eleven). Lead vocals is Madame Mayhem with Keith on guitars and Jason "JBomb" Harrison on drums. Madame Mayhem’s songs rival the best of Modern Rock, early ‘90s emotive-grunge, and nü-metal angst.

Her thoughts on the song - "'Inside Out' is about standing up for yourself after being pushed around by that person in your life that lives for playing games and finally gets a dose of their own medicine."

Teaming up to write with Keith Wallen again was so much fun and Johnny K producing it really helped bring the song to life.

She adds, "Although I'm currently working on new music, I felt strongly about releasing 'Inside Out' now because this song keeps calling back to me. I can't get it out of my head and wanted to finally put it out in the world!”

Earlier this year, “I Am More” hit the Top 40 on the Mediabase, BDS Billboard and BDS Indicator charts. Also Top 20 on The Foundations chart.

Alt Rock Band AEIR Release Official Lyric Video for Single "SMOKE ‘EM IF YOU GOT ‘EM"

Columbus, Ohio, Alt Rock band, AEIR, have signed on to Stephen Perkins' (Janes Addiction) label Perkins Palace Records. The band released their official lyric video for single "SMOKE ‘EM IF YOU GOT ‘EM" today!

"I spent 18 months looking for the right band. The first time I heard the band I wanted to know their story and let the world hear their story and their music. I am excited to tell the world about the band" says Stephen Perkins.

“We wrote 'Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em' during the midst of the pandemic. The song is a take on the smoking guns of American politics; big pharma, the oil industries and big corporations, as well as the collective feeling of defeat experienced by a majority of Americans at the time. We shot the video with Paul Cunningham at the Ohio HD location, tracked it with Jacob Mooney and had it mastered with Mazen Murrat. All with the intent of capturing the angst of the climate at the time and also the raw energy of our live set. We are all super happy with its outcome,” says the band.

AEIR is made up of three local Columbus, Ohio, bands; Coya Hill, The Turbos and Personal Public . Before COVID-19 hit, the drummer and singer of The Turbos toured 160 self-booked shows in 2019. When the pandemic hit, The Turbos and friends Coya Hill and Personal Public came to an end, but the bands were still able to connect and form something great together. Even with the world facing so much uncertainty regarding the global outbreak, the newly formed group did not sit idly by but instead got straight to work. During the major lock-downs across the world the band wrote over 40+ songs. Out of the many songs they wrote, they decided on 8 of their favorites for an upcoming release in the future. Their new single "Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em" was tracked and mixed by Jakob Mooney and mastered by Mazen Murratat Katara Studios.

When talking about his label Stephen Perkins says, "Why now? I think with all my experience and hunger to help bands and artists grow, it is a perfect time to cross the bridge to plant the seeds for new artists. I am a label for artists! Artist first!"

The band is in the process of booking live shows in 2022.

NONPOINT Releases Official Music Video for Their Cover of "When Doves Cry"

NONPOINT released the official music video for their revision of "When Doves Cry" today. The video was directed by Francesca Ludikar.

The single was originally released by Prince and the Revolution in 1984 and was one of the hit singles from the album Purple Rain.

Vocalist Elias Soriano says, “Our fans throughout the years have always had a quiet romance with the songs we like to cover. Seeing that our biggest showing in that category, our cover of Phil Collins ‘In The Air Tonight,’ was a suggestion from a friend and fan of the band, we thought it only fitting we let all our fans have a chance to throw their hats in the ring this time. So in the middle of a global pandemic, we threw up a bracket style voting tournament with a list of contenders from Metallica to DMX. As fans voted over a few weeks, it was exciting to watch it go from 16 songs to the final two, Metallica’s - Nothing Else Matters vs Prince’s - When Doves Cry. When they chose Prince, the real work began. We went through version after version. We knew we had to do it justice in the biggest way we could as tribute to Prince and still make it Nonpoint. I’m happy to report from initial response among the few who have heard it is exciting and we look forward to our fans singing it for years to come.”

Dr. Fink of Prince & The Revolution reacted to their cover by saying, "I just listened to Doves and thought it was great!"

He adds, "Nonpoint's revision of When Doves Cry by Prince and The Revolution rocks like a champion bullfighter slaying a prized bull!"

Keith Wallen is a dynamic guitarist and vocalist, a passionate live performer, and a diverse songwriter. As guitarist and backing vocalist, he’s brought his tireless enthusiasm to Breaking Benjamin since the multi platinum rock band’s 2014 reformation, appearing on Dark Before Dawn (2015) and Ember (2018), as well as countless worldwide tours.

As solo singer, songwriter, and performer, Keith explores everything from melancholy balladry to inventively re-imagined pop music. He draws upon a deep well of experience and inspiration. MADAME MAYHEM released her new single "BREAKING DOWN" today!
"Breaking Down," is the follow up to 2019's "Broken." Madame Mayhem enlisted the help of Keith Wallen (Breaking Benjamin), and Billy Sheehan with Jason "J Bomb" Harrison on drums to create her vision. Madame Mayhem co wrote "Breaking Down" with Brian Vodinh (10 Years)and it was Produced by Grammy Nominated Producer Johnny K (Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Staind, Megadeth).

Those who yearn for the electric catharsis of loud guitars, driving rhythms, hypnotic
hooks, and the strength of shared experience have a new muse in Madame Mayhem.

The Manhattan born singer/songwriter and burgeoning rock icon-in-the-making has weaponized the darkness, turning it into a rallying cry for all who were ever cast aside. Songs are equal parts timeless sentiment, bare knuckle fury, and energized urgency. Madame Mayhem’s songs rival the best of Modern Rock, early ‘90s emotive-grunge, and nü-metal angst.

As her name suggests, Madame Mayhem takes charge of her own anxiety, hurt, and alienation, crushing it with sheer force of will, then channeling the remaining ether into pulse-pounding anthems, instantly connecting with anyone who has struggled.
