“THE NUMBER is far more than just a song – it is a cry against forgetting and a memorial to humanity.

We look back at one of the darkest chapters in history. There was a time when people were stripped of their names, their identities and their dignity. Instead, numbers were burned into their skin. They were no longer seen as human beings, but treated like animals – trapped in an unimaginable system of systematic inhumanity.

When we look at the world today, a justified fear begins to creep in: the fear that these horrific times, in a different form, could one day return. That we might forget where hatred and the dehumanization of others can lead.

This is exactly where THE NUMBER comes in. This song is an unequivocal statement against the horrors of the past. Against what happened and what none of us ever want to experience again.
