DEICIDE Announce North American Tour Dates

Death metal legends DEICIDE are set to bring their relentless, unapologetic brutality to venues and festival stages across North America. Joined by ROTTING CHRIST & IMMOLATION, the onslaught begins in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on April 9 before bleeding through the states to Little Rock, Arkansas, on May 26. 

Since their inception in 1987, DEICIDE has left a ferocious mark on the genre and there are no intentions of slowing down. In over three decades the band has released thirteen studio albums, their latest being 2024's Banished By Sin, released via Reigning Phoenix Music, that is ingrained with thunderous aggression and power.

The legendary death metal band was formed in Tampa, Florida, in 1987 by current and surviving members, drummer/composer Steve Asheim, and bassist/vocalist/lyricist Glen Benton. The band rose to mainstream success in 1992 with their second album Legion, and is credited as the second-best-selling death metal band of the Soundscan Era. Since their debut album in 1990, DEICIDE has released twelve studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums and two live DVDs. In November 2003, their first two albums, Deicide and Legion, were ranked second and third place respectively in best-selling death metal albums of the SoundScan era. DEICIDE is known for being uncompromising and crafting some of the best, most punishing Death Metal music in their three decade-plus of existence. In 2024, the band unveiled Banished By Sin, via Reigning Phoenix Music, an intense, brutal and savagely catchy slab of Florida Death Metal!

INFERNO FESTIVAL NORWAY 2026 is now proudly welcoming the first wave of bands to next year's edition, which will once again take place across several venues in Oslo (NO) during Easter from April 2 - 5! Beyond The Gates festival is now revealing the full lineup for its eleventh edition, which will take place in the heart of Bergen, Norway from August 2 - August 5, 2023! The full lineup and daily schedules, which includes Dimmu Borgir's only performance in 2023 as well as special album sets from Deicide, Enslaved, and Primordial, is as follows:

This pummeling festival will take place for four days across multiple venues, including USF Verftet, Kulturhuset, and the legendary Grieghallen, where many seminal Norwegian black metal albums were recorded in the 90s. The day to day schedule of bands can be found below!

In addition to this massive extreme metal event, Beyond the Gates offers attendees unique and exciting opportunities to explore Norwegian and black metal culture in this historic city!

For years, fans have been flocking to Bergen to experience their favorite Norwegian artists in their home environment. Nature and local culture has always been a poignant source of inspiration for the bands emerging from the Bergen scene.

Beyond the Gates will make a great effort to give all the traveling fans a unique insight into all aspects of the Norwegian Metal scene and the local culture in general. In that regard, the festival hosts will be putting together a series of events so that fans can enhance and build on the Beyond the Gates Experience, including guided tours, art exhibitions, a tattoo festival, and more that will be revealed soon!
