ORBIT CULTURE Share "The Path I Walk" (Feat. Tina Guo) Video — WATCH // "Death Above Life (Deluxe Edition)" Arrives 10/9

Another milestone for Sweden's ORBIT CULTURE.

Not only are they gearing up for extensive touring across the UK, Europe, and North America, but they are also set to release 'Death Above Life (Deluxe Edition)', the director's cut of their cinematic and highly successful latest studio album.

The band unveils a very special collaboration with renowned cellist Tina Guo: The video for the emotional track ''The Path I Walk,'' created by their longtime creative partners Riivata Visuals.

Watch ''The Path I Walk'' Video below.

The band shares, ''We've always been a bit uneasy about bringing someone else into our music, but Tina Guo was the exception. Ever since we saw her perform in Stockholm in 2017, we'd joked about working with her one day. When the label suggested a guest for 'The Path I Walk,' we threw her name out, fully expecting nothing to come of it. Then our A&R, Mike Gitter, simply said, 'I know her.'

"We initially worked out her parts in MIDI using her own sample library, but hearing her actual performance was something else entirely. The emotion she brought completely changed the song and took it further than we'd imagined.

"What stayed with us just as much was how kind and down to earth she was throughout the whole process. For someone with her talent and experience, there was no ego at all. We're incredibly proud to have her on this song, and grateful that an idea we'd joked about for years actually happened."

The creation of Death Above Life (Deluxe Edition)' was a heartfelt undertaking for the band: ''We’re proud to release the Deluxe Edition of Death Above Life and finally share 'Nuclear God,' 'Spiral Head,' and 'The Form Not Meant To Be.' It's always exciting to put out songs that people haven’t heard yet, and we're looking forward to seeing what everyone makes of these three.

"We also wanted the physical release to be something people could spend time with. The 40-page Artbook and Mediabook give us more room to show the artwork and bring people further into the world of the record. We put a lot into Death Above Life, both musically and visually, so it feels good to bring those parts together in this edition.

"Thank you to everyone who has listened to the album, picked up a copy or come out to hear these songs live. It means a lot to us, and we're excited to share more with you.''

For this special release, the band opened up their photo archives, offering an intimate collection of live photographs and behind-the-scenes moments. Pre-order here!

The release of Death Above Life (Deluxe Edition) also marks the beginning of another touring cycle for ORBIT CULTURE. First, they will join Amon Amarth's ''The Allfather Awakens Tour'' across Europe alongside Soilwork. Immediately afterward, they will embark on the second leg of Trivium's ''The Crown in the Grave Tour'' across the U.S. and Canada, which also features In Flames and Frozen Soul.

The band comments, ''We've got a lot of touring ahead of us, starting with Amon Amarth on their 'The Allfather Awakens' EU/UK Tour, where we'll be direct support with Soilwork on the bill as well. Just seeing those three names together is pretty fucking cool. An all-Swedish package going across Europe and the UK, bringing a lot of heavy music with it. Swedish steel. We're proud to be part of that, and we can't wait to get back out and play.

"After that, we head over to the US to join Trivium, In Flames and Frozen Soul. It's a hell of a lineup, and to have both of these tours ahead of us feels a bit unreal when you stop and think about it.

"We're looking forward to seeing familiar faces and playing for people who might never have heard us before. Those shows give us a lot to prove, and we're hungry for it. Thank you to all the bands for having us along, and to everyone coming out. See you very soon.''

Orbit Culture Release Live Video For "The Storm" + North American Tour Starts 2/18

Right before embarking on their next quest — an extensive tour throughout USA and Canada with support coming from Ov Sulfur and Atlas — ORBIT CULTURE are releasing a live video for the fan-favorite "The Storm," which was filmed by Riivata Visuals and Grimvisions during their highly successful European tour last winter.

Watch the video below.

The band comments, "This video for 'The Storm' documents our last headline tour. Most of the footage was shot in Gothenburg, close to where we come from. Watching it now brings us back to a night that carried real weight — intense, focused, and honest. It was a defining moment for us, and 'The Storm'
reflects that feeling without needing to explain it."

It marks another video for their acclaimed album Death Above Life that was released to overwhelmingly positive feedback by fans and media in October of last year.

"The album represents change, a new beginning," says guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Niklas Karlsson. "It brings up a lot of good and bad emotions but it’s a big change for the better. It feels like a rebirth."

Catch them on the upcoming dates, posted below.

Hailing from the small town of Eksjö, Sweden (located between the revered metal cities of Gothenburg and Stockholm), the quartet (guitarist and vocalist Niklas Karlsson, guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt) have grown into a global force, melding together riffs that are equal parts thrash, death metal and industrial with arresting hooks and a layered atmosphere that invites comparison to Gojira, Metallica and Static-X while carving out something that is uniquely their own. Orbit Culture Share "Bloodhound" Video — WATCH // "Death Above Life" Album Out Now

Sweden’s ORBIT CULTURE have released the video for "Bloodhound" ahead of the release of the acclaimed new album Death Above Life.

Watch the nightmarish, horror movie-influenced video, shot by their longtime partners Riivata Visuals, below.

The band comments "'Bloodhound' is probably the angriest song we've written to date. We've always been somewhat reluctant to use explicit language in our music — maybe out of habit, maybe out of respect, we honestly dont know. But when that opening riff came to life, it just had this raw, primal energy that demanded something more. The song sounded furious from the start, and to match that intensity, we knew it was time to break our own rules and let the anger speak freely.

"The lyrics came together faster than almost anything we've done before. It was like this outburst — a child-like hammering of aggression onto the page. Usually, we try to keep ourselves in check, to polish things a bit. But this track is the 1% of the time where we didn't. Where we couldn't.

"'Bloodhound' is about anger — at people, at situations, at an industry that often exploits the very people trying to make it within it. It's about the cycle of revenge, the moments of acceptance, and then the anger flaring up again because nothing really changes. This song is about reclaiming your voice, your power, your worth. It’s about calling out the bloodsuckers, the manipulators — and making sure they don't get to take from you anymore."

Orbit Culture Release "Hydra" Video

Sweden’s Orbit Culture are releasing "Hydra," the third single taken from their upcoming album, Death Above Life, which arrives October 3.

The band comments, "With 'Hydra,' we dove even deeper into the heavy tunings we explored on our previous single, 'Death Above Life.' Lyrically, it’s a raw and unfiltered track about cutting ties — direct, honest, and uncompromising. The song was written during a period of intense stress and frustration and channeling that emotion onto paper felt like a necessary release."

They continue, "Visually, we drew inspiration from the vast, cinematic atmosphere of the Dune films. That same sense of scale is echoed in the production — distorted, low-tuned cellos, and thunderous drums that feel like something massive is coming. This is easily one of our most ambitious videos to date. We scouted the California desert to find the perfect location — no green screens, no tricks. What you see is real: Just four Swedish guys sweating it out in the scorching desert heat."

Witness Orbit Culture's journey into a relentless, blazing inferno that was produced by Industrialism Films, Vicente Cordero with additional editing by the band's long-time partner, Riivata Visuals, here.

Catch Orbit Culture on their "Death Above Life" UK/EU tour this fall with Gaerea and Atlas in support. The band is also playing Japan for the first time in October.  More info on Orbit Culture's upcoming shows here.
