Award-winning singer/songwriter Marina V unveils her electrifying new single, "Symphony & Metal", a powerful anthem blending orchestral grandeur and metal intensity. The track features an all-star lineup, including Bruce Kulick (KISS), David Ellefson (Megadeth), and renowned composer Steve Horner, with Marina's husband and longtime collaborator Nick Baker on drums.

Marina describes the song as “a reflection of the timeless battle between our inner light and darkness, a message of resilience, and a call to never give up.”

She shares: "We are fragile, vulnerable, and beautiful (symphony) yet extremely adaptable, strong, and tough (metal). This duality resonates deeply with me, especially after experiencing life’s extremes in recent years—becoming a mom, losing my dad during the pandemic, and enduring the devastating effects of the war on my family in Russia and Ukraine. The lyric, ‘It doesn’t matter how many times you get knocked down, it only matters if you get back up,’ has been my daily mantra."

Marina explains, "When recording 'Symphony & Metal', I knew we needed serious bombast and musical wizardry for the epic sound of the song. My co-writer/husband/drummer and I were fortunate to enlist long-time friends and extraordinary musicians Bruce Kulick (Kiss), David Ellefson (Megadeth), and Steve Horner (composer of film and tv, including credits on shows such as Bridgerton, etc)."

Marina V is a Russian-American singer, pianist, and songwriter praised for her “hauntingly beautiful” voice (LA Times). Born in Moscow, she moved to the United States at 15 and has since performed over 1,500 concerts worldwide, sharing stages with artists like Howard Jones, Macy Gray, and Beth Hart.

DEKO ENTERTAINMENT AND BLACKBIRD ENTERTAINMENT HAVE TEAMED UP AGAIN TO BRING TO YOU FOR THE FIRST TIME ON VINYL, LIVE IN THE GALAXY BY UNION. THEY WILL GO ON PRE-SALE OCTOBER 13, AT NOON EASTERN TIME.

Originally released in 1999, Live in the Galaxy was recorded during Union’s first tour in support of its self-titled debut album. Union featured the pairing of guitarist Bruce Kulick and singer/guitarist John Corabi. Kulick had spent 12 years as the lead guitarist in KISS during their non-make up era and was featured on several multi-platinum albums, including the powerhouse band Revenge. Corabi fronted the Scream, and more recently, Mötley Crüe on their now cult following, eponymous 1994 release. They teamed up with drummer Brent Fitz (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, Alice Cooper, Vince Neil, Theory of a Deadman) and bassist Jamie Hunting (Roger Daltrey, David Lee Roth, Vince Neil) to record two studio albums before disbanding.

On the heels of selling out Union and The Blue Room in 24 hours, Deko and Blackbird Entertainment are at it again. Live in the Galaxy will be available for the first time as a 180 gram vinyl double album that comes with a bonus 7” vinyl. The double album totals 15 songs, with renditions of “I Walk Alone” from Kulick’s time with KISS and “Power to the Music” from Corabi’s time with Mötley Crüe. It comes in 3 color variations: Black/Milky White (limited to 500 copies pressed), Purple/Yellow (limited to 250 copies pressed), and Silver/Violet (limited to 250 copies pressed). The bonus 7” vinyl includes the additional live tracks “Let It Flow” and “Empty Soul.” The album is set to go on pre-sale October 13 at noon (EST). Product is expected to ship early February. Originally released in 1998, Union’s self titled debut featured the pairing of guitarist Bruce Kulick who had spent the last 12 years as the lead guitarist in Kiss during their non-make up era, and was featured on several multi-platinum albums, including the bands powerhouse REVENGE, and singer/guitarist John Corabi who had fronted the Scream, and more recently Motley Crue, on their now cult following self titled 1994 release. They teamed up with drummer Brent Fitz (Slash Feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Alice Cooper, Vince Neil, Theory Of A Deadman) and bassist Jamie Hunting (Roger Daltrey, David Lee Roth, Vince Neil). This was followed up by their second studio effort ‘The Blue Room’ in 2000.
