Finnish Modern Metal Outfit BLIND CHANNEL Announces 6th Studio Album ‘Painstream’ Out on October 30th via Century Media

Finnish chart-topping modern metal outfit BLIND CHANNEL are back.

After 1.5 years of deliberate silence, the 5-piece outfit returns with a grown attitude and hunger for a new musical chapter. Inspired, motivated, and eager to take fans and new listeners on a both intensely personal and universally relevant journey, BLIND CHANNEL proudly present their most mature, honest, and ambitious album to date: ‘Painstream.’

‘Painstream’ is BLIND CHANNEL’s 6th studio album, which will be out via Century Media on October 30th. The 12 new powerful tracks lead through the pain of growth, sharp self-reflection, and explosive energy.

As a taste of what’s to expect from ‘Painstream,’ BLIND CHANNEL reveals an official music video containing the first new musical pieces, “Diana” / “No Encores In A Swan Song,”since their last album ‘Exit Emotions,’ which was released on March 1st, 2024. In addition to the first two singles, the band has also revealed single releases for September 3rd and October 1st. Stay tuned!

On 'Painstream,' the band comments:

“In a world filled with uncertainty, conflict and division, pain is one thing all humans share. Rather than separating us, 'Painstream' explores the idea that pain can unite us, reminding us of our common humanity. We examine pain from personal, societal and existential perspectives, while also uncovering something unexpected: hope.”
