The disillusioned descendants of the Sunset Strip­–era are creating a new arc in the evolution of 80s-inspired hard rock by animating a hybrid of lyrical and musical influences from Alice Cooper and Motley Crüe to AFI and Alkaline Trio. These sleaze rock goth pop anthems will make the Love Kills EP an instant Jetset classic as it follows three nominations for Washington Area Music Awards for their previous release.

In 2022, the Jetset crew stormed through iconic venues alongside hard rock legends, including sold-out shows with Stephen Adler (Guns N' Roses) and Stephen Pearcy (Ratt) at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go. Megazillion is an artist/musician in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. The project officially began in early 2020 under the dome of Covid lockdown. Paul “Megazillion” Joyce has a well worn resume of underground but significant bands and over a decade of work as a film composer and had some loose MZ demoes going back as far as 2017. Film work and other band commitments (F City, Dark Water Transit, Compression, Consumer Culture, Mondawmen) kept MZ on the shelf. Once lockdown hit the realization came rather fast that it was time to finally put this epic project into motion.

Late summer 2020 they began putting together the first official album “Triple Phoenix”. Recorded and mixed by Megazillion, the process took a year and half. 30 minutes of 7 tracks (one being the 12 minute “We All Wanna Belong”) ranging from Shoegaze, Krautrock, Post Punk, Electro, Industrial, Alternative and even a little doom thrown in, the mixes are very dense, huge even. Lots of layering and interesting colors. Then it was mastered in 2022 at the famous Abbey Road Studios by Alex Wharton (Pixies, My Bloody Valentine) and released December 2022 on Big Curve Music. Initial feedback has been absolutely stellar.

To celebrate the release, the now official five member live band, had a very successful album release at the famous Ottobar in Baltimore, MD. To further grow interest in the album and to build a strong following the band is planning to play anywhere it can in 2023. Also, a series of videos for “Triple Phoenix” are in production with the first being a video for the stirring track “Sheep of Doom”.

Megazillion also produces almost all the video content for the various releases on the Megazillion Youtube channel.

Baltimore based, Alternative Rock trio NOVA KOLOSOhas released the official music video for "Hallucinate Your Faith." The title single off of their upcoming, sophomore album, set to release 11/8/2022 via BIG CURVE MUSIC, "Hallucinate Your Faith" was directed by Mark Colegrove and features footage from the public domain film “The Arrival,” a 1980 promotional film for the UFO cult, Church of Unarius.

Nova Koloso was born during the pandemic and released their first self-titled album in early 2021. While brothers Mark and Tom Colegrove were able to play together on a handful of tracks, the remainder of the album was finished by Mark alone as the pandemic waned on.

“Hallucinate Your Faith” is the celebration of the two being able to play together in person once again, along with a few new collaborators including Ken Moore handling the majority of bass duties, along with guest appearances from Jenny Rae Mettee (Fun Never Starts) and Fiona Crowley (Handapple).

The album was mixed and mastered by Steve Wright at Wright Way Studios in Baltimore.

In 2020, many bands found themselves cut off from their studios, their clubs, and their bands. Landis Expandis responded by going deep into his basement studio where he created two digital clones of himself. He named one Harry and the other Larry. They became what is known today as the synth rock trio known as Landis Harry Larry. They make odd, quirky music videos about everyday experiences like personal space or how cats love to be in your way when you are doing something important.

When the trio was signed by BigCurve music, they released the soundtrack to a YouTube mockumentary about a canine human named Bunch called, “The Story Of Bunch.” For their second release, it was requested that Landis release a solo album for each member of Landis Harry Larry, each album having a completely unique style. Landis’ album is dark and gothic, Harry’s album is quirky and pop, and Larry’s album is dance music featuring special remixes by Cheekywillie.
