Miami-based instrumental progressive rock and math rock project, Aurora Dream, founded by Venezuelan guitarist and front man Daniel Morales, has just released their latest album RUBIT, a full 8-bit remix of their debut album RUBIX. This album remix, like their previous single release "Parallel 8its", was created in collaboration with the well-known YouTuber and 8-bit/video game music enthusiast, Kevin Weaver (KB3K).

With RUBIT, Aurora Dream continues to showcase their innovative approach to their sound, as they experiment with new musical elements while staying true to the original ideas of their debut album. The album features nine tracks, each expertly crafted to create a unique and immersive sound that transports the listener to a world of retro gaming nostalgia.

This album remix is a testament to Aurora Dream's dedication to pushing the boundaries of their sound and exploring new musical territories. It not only appeals to fans of progressive genres and math rock, but also to lovers of instrumental music and video game music alike. The result is an exceptional listening experience that seamlessly combines the worlds of instrumental rock and 8-bit music.

Produced and mixed by Kevin Weaver, with mastering handled by Moises D' Bello, the same team behind their previous single release, RUBIT is an outstanding album that showcases Aurora Dream's talent for creating music that is both intricate and accessible.

Without Weaver's collaboration, this album wouldn't be what it is today. His skill and talent as a producer and mixer are evident in every song, and it's a testament to his commitment to 8-bit music and his ability to collaborate with other artists to create something truly unique.

In his own words, Daniel says: "Video game music has been a big inspiration for me ever since I was a kid, and it continues to inspire me to this day. Artists like FamilyJules, ToxicxEternity, Insaneintherainmusic, and RichaadEB have done amazing things with video game music in the guitar/rock/metal genres, and they've inspired me to do the same thing but in reverse. With 'RUBIT', we've taken our debut album 'RUBIX' and transformed it into an 8-bit remix, incorporating new musical elements to create a more melodic and interesting sound that still pays homage to the original album. I hope this album remix can inspire other musicians and gamers out there to push their boundaries and explore new musical territories."

Fans can now listen to RUBIT on all major music platforms and enjoy Aurora Dream's unique listening experience.

Aurora Dream, the Miami-based instrumental progressive rock and math rock project, has recently released a new single titled "Parallel 8its". This track is a remix version of their very first single "Parallel Colors (2016 Version)", but this time, it has been rearranged in 8-bit music by the well-known YouTuber and 8-bit/video game music enthusiast, Kevin Weaver.

The idea for this unique collaboration came about when Aurora Dream's founder and Venezuelan guitarist, Daniel Morales, stumbled upon Kevin's YouTube channel (KB3K) and became captivated by his 8-bit remixes of similar artists. After striking up a conversation over email, they began to discuss their shared music interests, bouncing ideas back and forth, which ultimately led to this exciting collaboration.

While "Parallel Colors" has been revisited many times in the past due to its significant meaning and fan love, this remix gives it an entirely new twist and an even more unique and flavorful sound. The track has now become an extraordinary listening experience that is not only ideal for Aurora Dream's current fans and math rock/prog/instrumental guitar enthusiasts, but also for those who enjoy 8-bits music, particularly those who are nostalgic about old video game music from the Nintendo DS era.

Daniel Morales provided Kevin with music stems that were instrumental in creating the 8-bit remix, and he also co-produced the track by contributing newer ideas that expanded the song's depth and melodic elements. Kevin, on the other hand, produced and mixed the single, while Moises D' Bellohandled the mastering.

Kevin Weaver is a talented YouTuber and 8-bit video game music enthusiast, whose remixes have gained a large following worldwide. This collaboration with Daniel Morales has taken the song "Parallel Colors (Versión 2016)" to a completely new level, adding his distinctive style and creativity to the Aurora Dream universe. His meticulous work and ability to produce, compose and mix 8-bit music have been an integral part of the creation of this exciting remix.

According to Daniel, "I've always been a hardcore Pokemon fan since the very old days, not only because of the story itself, but also because of the music (Gen 4 is my favorite). I just find it very pure, unique, and full of joy and emotion, which I believe are key components when I write my own music. This single serves as a reference to the music and games I enjoyed when I was a kid and still enjoy these days, despite all the time that has passed."

The "Parallel 8its" single is a testament to Aurora Dream's commitment to experimenting with their sound and pushing boundaries, and this collaboration with Kevin Weaver promises to be the first of many exciting releases. Fans can now enjoy this new version of "Parallel Colors" on all major music platforms, and they can look forward to future collaborations between Aurora Dreamand Kevin Weaver.

This album is the follow-up to their latest single and music video "Comfy," which features the well-known Japanese guitarist Ichika Nito.

Prior to the release of "Comfy," Aurora Dream also put out a remixed and remastered version of "Parallel Colors" from 2016, this time featuring Chris Allisonon drums, and also the single "A New Infinite" that features well-known Australian guitarist Plini, along with his bassist Simon Grove.

RUBIX was produced by Randy Slaugh, who provided a lot more dynamics to the record with his modern production techniques and layers that enhanced the listening experience with creative genre fusions. The album was also co-produced by keyboardist and synth player Eric Guenther from "The Contortionist," who teamed up with Randy and added his psychedelic, progressive, and ethereal sounds that added a lot more dimension to the album, creating a truly immersive experience.

Well-known Australian drummer Chris Allison from Plini performed drums on RUBIX, giving the record a lot more energy through his performance. Mangus Steedperformed bass on the album, providing his unique bass lines, riffs, and phrases that complemented Chris' drums amazingly. Simon Grove mixed RUBIX, while well-known Venezuelan engineer Moises D' Bello mastered it.

RUBIX features some of the best guitar players in the modern scene, including Tim Henson (Polyphia), Nick Johnston, Javier Reyes (Animals as Leaders), Sithu Aye, Angel Vivaldi, Ichika Nito, Mark Holcomb (Periphery), Felix Martin, and Josh Martin (Little Tybee). Additionally, this album features a harp section by Gabriela Gutierrez (Hardcore Harp) on the track titled “Same Opposites.”

The album is truly a masterpiece and a monument for instrumental guitar music because it delivers a profoundly unique listening experience that showcases many interesting genre fusions with prog rock and math rock, combined with modern production that adds more personality to the record and makes it stand out from the rest. The features also add a lot to the experience, not only giving each track a different twist that is unique to each player but also creating one of the biggest album guitar crossovers we have seen yet.

The production layers of RUBIX are inspired by many different genres, including pop, psychedelic rock, lo-fi, synthwave, post-rock, emo, and experimental music. Aurora Dream and Daniel Morales continue to innovate and push the boundaries of guitar music with their unique sound that fuses many different styles and creates a very fun experience that showcases Daniel's talent with his guitar tapping, complex riffs, strange time signature changes, and melodic writing that add on to the experience, making it a roller coaster of emotions across the entire record.

“I started writing 'RUBIX' in early 2019 as a way to escape a very long depression that I was struggling with since the end of 2018. This was also around the time I wrote the song 'Doggy' as a memorial to my dog who had passed away due to cancer in early 2019. Playing guitar in my room helped me a lot, just like performing small shows at local venues, open mics, and bars around Miami and Wynwood. I never imagined that something that started as a simple bedroom produced album that was purely meant to be shared with my close friends and family would later turn into something much bigger after connecting with many talented people that shaped my artistic vision and helped me take it to another level through collaborations and other creative efforts," says Daniel.

He adds, "Despite all the collaborations and collective ideas, this record feels very personal to me because it embodies all of the emotions I experienced during some of my saddest and happiest times in the past four years. Just like a Rubik's cube, I was able to reshape my life into something much brighter that gives me purpose, belonging, and true fulfillment that aligns with who I am, not just as an artist, but also as a person. I will always be grateful for all the people who worked on this project, my fans, my friends, family, and all the people that supports my journey as I continue to deliver my vision as an artist through my music projects.”

Miami-based instrumental math rock project Aurora Dream has just released a new single and music video titled "Comfy" featuring the immensely talented and well-known guitarist from Japan, Ichika Nito. The track is a fusion of various genres including progressive rock, math rock, pop, disco and modern production. The song is a follow-up to their most recent single "A New Infinite," that featured Australian guitarist Plini and his bassist Simon Grove.

"Comfy" was produced by Randy Slaugh, mixed by Simon Grove, and mastered by Venezuelan engineer Moises D' Bello. The keys and synths were arranged and played by Eric Guenther from The Contortionist, with bass performed by Magnus Steed and drums played by Chris Allison from Plini. Through this track, founder and Venezuelan guitarist Daniel Morales showcases his impressive guitar skills, including complex riffs, tapping, and melodic layers. This not only highlights his own artistry but also displays the true potential of Aurora Dream.

The music video for "Comfy" was created by 4102 Productions, and it features visual elements that reference the art style of Venezuelan artist Cruz Diez, a nod to Morales' home country. The album's color theme and other visual aspects were combined with this art style to create a visually stunning and psychedelic experience.

Producer Randy Slaugh and Eric Guenther collaborated on the track, adding unique production layers that added more dimension to the music and made it much more interesting and dynamic. The result is a catchy and enjoyable track that will appeal music fans from various genres and not just from the prog rock, metal, and guitar world.

"Comfy" is an impressive track that showcases Aurora Dream's musical prowess, highlighting their unique blend of different genres that continues to innovate push the boundaries of guitar music. The music video adds another layer to the experience, making it visually stunning and a must-see for fans across the genre.

This single is now available for streaming and download on all major music platforms.

Official music video is now available on YouTube.

“I have to say, the process of writing "Comfy" was such a blast. I really didn't overthink it too much - it all came together very naturally. I wasn't trying to create something that was super technical or overly progressive. I just wanted to write something fun, with interesting elements slowly added in as I went along. This track is titled “Comfy” because it references a time where I finally felt comfortable and happy after going through a long period of depression and personal struggles during the end of 2018 and early 2019, a time in my life where I also decided to start writing the first Aurora Dream album," says Daniel.

He adds, _"I feel so grateful to have had the chance to collaborate with such talented people, including Ichika Nito, who brought his iconic writing skills and angelic sound to the track, taking my music to a whole other level. Working with Randy Slaugh, Simon Grove, Mangus Steed, Chris Allison, and Eric Guenther was also a pretty amazing experience where I learned a lot of things. I can't wait to release Aurora Dream's first full-length album. I truly believe it's my best work yet, and I'm so excited to share it with the world. It's going to be a really exciting listening experience, showcasing my vision as an artist and the incredible musicality that comes from all of my collaborators - including some really familiar faces from the guitar world. Stay tuned!"

I was introduced to electronic music at a young age through video games and online browsing. This led me to discover artists like Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada and fueled my love for music. Over time, I became fascinated with the unique fusion of guitar music and electronics in artists like Linkin Park, Attack Attack, and more recently The Algorithm and 100Gecs just to name a few. Aurora Dream Releases New Single "Parallel Colors (2016 Version) Remixed & Remastered"

Instrumental Prog / Math Rock / Metal project Aurora Dream, based in Miami, Florida, has released their new single "Parallel Colors (2016 Version) Remixed & Remastered" on all major platforms".

Aurora Dream's latest release, "Parallel Colors (2016 Version) Remixed & Remastered", is a phenomenal reinvention of the project's original 2016 single. The single serves as a rebirth for the instrumental progressive and math rock project, with a well-executed blend of prog rock, math rock, metal post-rock, and synth/keys layers creating an ethereal experience.

The remixed and remastered version of the song features the addition of real drums from Chris Allison (from Plini) replacing the original midi drums, bringing the track to life in a whole new way. The production layers from Alejandro Hernández, mixing from Simon Grove (from Plini), and mastering from Venezuelan engineer Moises D' Bello have elevated the overall production quality of the song, making it even more exceptional.

The single showcases the exceptional musical talent of guitarist Daniel Morales, bassist Mangus Steed, and drummer Chris Allison. The intricate guitar work, thundering bass lines, and dynamic drumming come together to create a cohesive and captivating sound that is uniquely Aurora Dream.

Overall, "Parallel Colors (2016 Version) Remixed & Remastered" is an exceptional release that showcases the musical prowess of Aurora Dream. This release is a must-listen for fans of instrumental progressive and math rock music. With a full-length album featuring many of the top artists leading the guitar movement of this generation soon to follow, the future looks bright for Aurora Dream.

“I started this project back in 2016 during some of my most difficult times. It was a perfect way to escape my reality for a while and find some inner peace that would help ease my depression and other personal struggles I was facing at the time. Luckily, I had my good friend and roommate Alejandro Hernández who helped with production and pushed me to finally start recording my own music and helped me shape these guitar melodies and sounds into something called “Parallel Colors (Demo Version)”. This release was also possible thanks to my good friend Mangus Steed, who offered help with bass and helped to expand the vision that we had for the song. I feel very grateful that I was able to create something that would lead me to my own journey as a musician and allowed me to collaborate with so many creative people in this industry. This re-release, I hope, can serve as a sneak peek for everything that’s coming next, as I believe it to be not only my best work but also something truly memorable for guitar music as a whole,” says Daniel.
