Jenna Paulette & Ely Cattleman Launch CowboyGirl Women’s Rangewear Collection

Cowgirl and songstress Jenna Paulette weaves together the concept of her sophomore album Horseback and her passion for ranching with her latest endeavor, CowboyGirl, a women’s rangewear line in partnership with Ely Cattleman, available now online and in-store exclusively at more than 200 Boot Barn locations. View the collection HERE.

“I have been working on this line for over five years, and I was lucky enough to find a partner to make it a reality in Ely Cattleman,” shares Paulette. “They paid attention to every detail and have been as passionate about bringing this line to the working cowgirl, and those who love the lifestyle, as I am.”

With Cowboys & Indians doting the line as “a marriage between beauty and practicality,” CowboyGirl addresses the need for functionality in the saddle, designed to offer all the same benefits that men need working cattle, but with a style that is vintage and feminine. Small details tie the CowboyGirl collection together and make it relative to today’s functional needs, while honoring generations past.

“Jenna represents both of the words associated with Ely Cattleman: Authentic and Western. Staying true to Jenna's vision, CowboyGirl offers functional apparel for the western lifestyle women who, ‘get the job done.’ We are excited to see CowboyGirl come to life with the support of our exclusive retail partner, Boot Barn,” shared Chris Stein, president of Ely Cattleman.

The collection highlights two new ideologies: the State Flower of each state, – beginning with Texas, where Jenna grew up, and Oklahoma, where Jenna's family ranch was – and the quilt pattern prints, implying family while acknowledging the generations of ranching women and the families they have raised and supported.

Born from the saddle, Horseback is a culmination of the experiences and values that have shaped Paulette, many of which became clearer after rediscovering herself with her debut The Girl I Was in 2023Paulette shared upon its release, “So much has happened, so much good, since The Girl I Was. All I’ve got to say is the girl I was pretending to be before I got back to me…you ain’t getting that Horseback. The woman I am is here to stay. This album is a picture of who she was always meant to be.”

Jenna Paulette Continues to Preview Sophomore Album with “Hang Your Hat,” Out Now

Texas native and rising star Jenna Paulette continues to unveil new music following the recent release of redemptive track “Darlin’,” her first single since signing with innovative independent record label Leo33, with today’s release of “Hang Your Hat.” Listen Below.

“I wrote this one with Jim Beavers, Rhett Akins and Smith Ahnquist; Smith had the idea and I instantly fell in love with it,” recalls Paulette.

She continues, “The feel came from wanting something in the vein of ‘Adalida’ –  up tempo and easy to listen to. The hook made it mean something more to me than a simple feel-good song, though: 'I got a heart you can hang your hat on.' Saying to someone you love, ‘hey you can depend on me, I’ll be there in every way.’ That’s where I’m at in life — and I’ve got someone that gave me a safe place to call home, so I’m giving him a heart he can trust.”

“Hang Your Hat” is Paulette’s latest release as she prepares her sophomore album, her first since signing with Leo33. A continuation of her journey of self-discovery, “Hang Your Hat” details her newfound love, as she assures him that she’s dependable through the good times and the bad.

Jenna Paulette Releases Debut Single on Leo33, “Darlin’”

With the release of her debut album The Girl I Was last March, Lewisville, Texas native Jenna Paulette detailed her journey overcoming the heartbreak of a toxic relationship and rediscovering her identity – ultimately returning to the girl she was prior. Emerging stronger than ever, Paulette is now turning toward a chapter of redemption and newfound love with Darlin,’” her first release on Leo33, available now.

Reflecting on her personal journey of healing, Paulette shares, “It’s easy when you’re young to meet someone who tells you things that aren’t true about yourself and to believe him until, slowly, he chips away at who you are. If that’s you, I hope this song provides comfort knowing you’re not alone, stirs the courage inside of you to walk away, and offers the reassurance that something better awaits you.”

Written by Paulette alongside Jess Cayne and Matthew Morrisey, “Darlin’” juxtaposes the manipulation of a past relationship with the restored confidence that comes with true love.

        He calls me pretty
        And I believe him
        Tells me he loves me
And God, I can feel it
        His prayer that was answered
        When I was your problem
        Yeah it’s really something
        The way I keep fallin’
        When he calls me darlin’

“Darlin’” offers the first taste of new music to come from Paulette on the heels of her record deal with Leo33, as she returns to the studio to prepare her sophomore record for 2024. Paulette’s musical journey has been defined by impactful storytelling, exemplified most recently in the official music video for “You Ain’t No Cowboy” which was released on World Mental Health Day.
