Buckle up! AMERICAN JETSET is back with their new album Wild America! Fueled by a little Sunset Strip sleaze, East Coast swing, and larger-than-life hooks, "Jet Black Gasoline" is a high-octane shot of rock 'n' roll. Blending infectious melodies and the anthemic punch of arena rock, AMERICAN JETSET delivers a modern rocker with one foot planted firmly in rock's glory days. Turn it up, roll down the windows, and let "Jet Black Gasoline"
do the rest.
Wild America is a rock ’n’ roll road trip through a lifetime of love, loss, excess, and great f**king memories. It's about chasing the ghost of a dream and all the stories collected along the way. Every song is a postcard from a different place and time, filled with the people, places, and hangs that brought the band here.
"We spent most of our lives chasing this thing, and somewhere along the way, the stories became more important than the destination," says AMERICAN JETSETsinger Ian Kaine MacGregor. "We've all seen decades of the best and worst of this world, but every moment is a part of who we are. That's what this record is all about."
It's no secret that AMERICAN JETSET was influenced by the sleeping giants of the Sunset Strip. But Wild Americatakes that sound somewhere new. With layered guitars, bigger soundscapes, and towering choruses, these songs would feel right at home in any arena. It's a love letter to the days of record stores, teenage heroes, and a time when the right song could change your life. Kicking it off is "Jet Black Gasoline," the album's first single, combining SoCal sleaze, East Coast swing, and larger-than-life hooks.
"We've made a lot of records over the years, but this one feels different. There's a lifetime of stories in these songs, and we wanted to make something that really captured what all those years of rock ’n’ roll have meant to us," says AMERICAN JETSET drummer Jeff Bradford.
Since forming in Washington, DC, in 2018, AMERICAN JETSET has taken its hook-driven hard rock from coast to coast, played the M3 Rock Festival, and shared stages with Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Steven Adler (Guns N’ Roses), Tom Keifer (Cinderella), Winger, Slaughter, and just about every other major act in the genre. Along the way, the band has earned a reputation for bringing the kind of high-energy live show that rock ’n’ roll was built on.
The band kicked off the Wild America era on October 29 at the legendary Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles, with a celebration of the release alongside Vixen. The band hits the road again in 2027 for a US tour before crossing the Atlantic for its first UK run, including a performance at HRH Sleaze X for the festival's 10th anniversary.
At its core, Wild America is about the music, the people, and the memories that last forever. So let's make some more. Turn it up, roll down the windows, and take the long way home.
ABOUT THE BAND
AMERICAN JETSET draws inspiration from the glory days of the Sunset Strip while carving out its own brand of arena rock stadium pop, building a global following through high-energy performances and tours alongside artists including Stephen Pearcy, Tom Keifer, Steven Adler, Winger, Slaughter, LA Guns, and Faster Pussycat.
Since their 2018 debut EP, Live Love Die on Main, the Washington, DC rockers have continued to evolve with each release, from Saloon Rock Whiskey Pop and Cat's Got Your Tongue to 2024's acclaimed 1987. Their latest album, Wild America, released by Golden Robot Records in November 2026, takes that evolution even further with bigger guitars, towering choruses, and deeply
personal songwriting.
The band returns to the road in 2027 with US and UK tours, including an appearance at HRH Sleaze X.
