THE OUTFIT
From the streets of Chicago, The Outfit delivers straight-up rock and roll with catchy hooks and an aggressive sound.
The band released their first self-titled album on February 2, 2018. Chicago music veteran Matt Mercado engineered it at Sonic Palace Studios in Oak Park, Illinois, while mixing was handled in Los Angeles by Grammy-nominated, multi-Platinum producer and mixer Ulrich Wild (known for his work with Pantera, Static-X, White Zombie, Deftones, and Breaking Benjamin).
THE OUTFIT aims to bring the rock scene back to its roots with a modern edge. The album’s lead single, “Soldier Boy,” received significant airplay on rock radio stations and
peaked at number 34 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Radio Chart. Following the success of “Soldier Boy,” the track “Wire” reached the 28th spot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Indicator Chart. On March 27, 2020, The Outfit released their second album, titled "Viking". The music video for the title track “Viking” has garnered over 380,000 views on YouTube. Ulrich Wild returned to mix the album, enabling the band to achieve a classic rock sound with a contemporary twist. The song “Come Alive” charted at number 38 on Billboard’s
Mainstream Rock Indicator Chart and has over 216,000 streams on Spotify. The band's latest album, entitled "Go", was released on April 19, 2024. Sound engineer
Matt Mercado and multi-Platinum producer/mixer Ulrich Wildreturned to work on this project. *Go* features the Billboard-charting single “Monster,” along with standout tracks
like “Big Eyes,” “Mountain,” and “Arrival of Jane.” In 2025, vocalist Andy Mitchell departed from the band and was replaced by Bill Wilson. In January, THE OUTFIT wrote and recorded their new single “Hard On Me,” which was
released on March 14, 2025. The song has received an overwhelmingly positive reaction, exceeding one million views on YouTube and charting on the national SMR
radio chart, peaking at number 16. The members of
