Today, Portland’s punk rock outfit KEDDIES RESORT is excited to release the title track from their upcoming album, 'American Spirit,' out on July 4th via Sweatband Records. Gritty, high-energy, and unapologetically raw, “American Spirit” showcases the band’s unfiltered DIY ethos and knack for fusing punk rock intensity with power pop hooks.

With distorted guitars, driving rhythms, and a pointed vocal delivery, “American Spirit” dives headfirst into the chaos and contradictions of modern American life. It’s a scathing yet anthemic reflection of the times — both a personal vent and a cultural critique wrapped in the band’s signature lo-fi sound.

"This is the start of the whole story of the album. Concept character gets fired from his job 'rightfully so,' he’s always felt under-appreciated due to a lack of education and medications. Little does he know getting fired from his job was the best thing for him, but also the worst for his most hated coworkers and boss. This sets him off on a journey throughout every state of America, perfecting his plot."
