Epic Doom/Dark Power Metallers BEHÖLDER are excited to launch their new single, "Draconian (Slave Or Master)," taken from their upcoming debut album 'In The Temple Of The Tyrant,' out on April 25th via Black Lion Records. "A merciless warlord leads a life of conquest, conducting brutal nighttime raids upon helpless villages, seeking plunder and captives as trophies. The harsh reality that he too is a slave is not lost on him, that his identity and freedom were lost long ago, indoctrinated to serve and even worship his own tyrannical lord. The lines between being either a slave or master in a relentless cycle blur, mixed with the bloodshed and domination that define his existence."

BEHÖLDER is an Epic Doom/Dark Power Metal band from the US inspired by classic Dungeons & Dragons. Formed in late 2021 by guitarist Carlos Alvarez, the band includes singer John Yelland, guitarist Matt Hodsdon, drummer Andrew Julkowski, and bassist Michael “Oneirous” Sanchez.
Their songs weave cautionary tales from the more grim, foreboding realms of fantasy against a backdrop of colossal riffs with elegant yet powerful melodies.
