Norwegian folk metal band TROLLFEST are spreading unconventional holiday cheer with the release of their latest single, "Doomsday Christmas Song."
Equal parts festive and thought-provoking, the track blends the band’s signature chaos with a timely message about the rising anxieties in today’s world. Can we still find joy in celebration amid uncertainty, or are we witnessing the end of merriment as we know it? This song’s infectious melodies and clever lyrics make it a standout holiday anthem for December. In addition to the release of the single, TROLLFEST have released a lyric video, available to view below.
Guitarist, Mr Seidel comments:
"No one wanted or needed it, but the folly of mankind has forced our hand! We present to you a catchy, timely Christmas track that captures the world’s rising anxieties and a sense of looming uncertainty. With doomsday seemingly closer, this song asks if we can still find the joy to celebrate Christmas and look forward to a brighter New Year. Perfectly positioned to be December’s earworm, it balances holiday cheer with a thought-provoking twist on the season’s spirit."
