Tune-In Tomorrow, Feb. 18 for Munsick’s “My Opry Debut,”

Airing 10/9p CT on Circle Network

Raised as a ranch hand in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains, Wyoming native Ian Munsick knows the value of persistence and hard work in all aspects of life – and relationships are no exception. Munsick releases “Dig” off his upcoming project White Buffalo today (listen HERE). He penned the track alongside Jessi Alexander and Dave Villa.

The inspiration for the song’s tale first arrived to Munsick as a recurring image of digging to reach a skeleton. That image serving as the metaphorical backdrop, “Dig” details the time and dedication it takes to gain the trust, and ultimately earn the love, of the people you care about.

“Melodies have always come to me at the most inconvenient times,” Munsick shared. “In the middle of class, on airplanes and even in my sleep. Now, I’m not complaining – I just wish the universe would choose more opportune moments to strike creative lightning into my brain. A couple years ago, I dreamed up the verse melody for ‘Dig’ and, unlike most of the music I dream, I remembered it as soon as I woke up. I immediately reached for my phone and recorded it so it wouldn’t escape into my subconscious fog. I knew it was one of the best melodical phrases I had written, and I’m grateful the universe let me hang onto it.

"As a songwriter, I love pairing melodies with lyrical ideas," he continued. "This particular musical phrase was begging for a lyric that highlighted the dark string of notes, while remaining optimistic with the chorus lift. What better way to do that than working for love. In my opinion, the best kind of love is the kind that doesn’t always come easy, but the kind you have to dig for. That’s where the real gold is."

Munsick will release his sophomore album White Buffalo on April 7 via Warner Music Nashville (pre-order HERE). The 18-track ode to his homeland, which comes three years after his critically acclaimed debut Coyote Cry, serves as a raw, untamed depiction of the American West, with the white buffalo itself symbolizing the rebirth of Munsick’s artistry and life. The project has already yielded standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” with two-time CMA Award winner Cody Johnson and his most recent release “River Run.” Watch HERE to see the full track listing reveal from earlier today.

As he prepares for album launch, Munsick continues to sell out dates on the road. He recently extended his Long Live Cowgirls Tour into May 2023 with Ned LeDoux as a special guest on select dates. The run includes his first headlining arena shows at the Horizon Events Center in Clive, Iowa; Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston, Nebraska and First Interstate Arena at MetraPark in Billings, Montana, as well as his Ryman Auditorium headlining debut. The tour kicked off Jan. 20 with a sold-out show at the legendary Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas. Tickets for the run are available HERE.

Tomorrow, Feb. 18 Munsick’s “My Opry Debut” episode will air at 10/9p CT on Circle Network. Fans can re-live his standout performances of “Long Haul” and “Horses Are Faster,” which landed the rising star a standing ovation on the coveted stage.

The three-time GRAMMY-nominated guitarist and 25x Billboard chart-topper Joe Bonamassa has released a mind-blowing live rendition of “Mind’s Eye,” a standout track from his most recent studio album ‘Time Clocks.’ Featured on ‘Tales Of Time,’ his sprawling and expansive live concert film and album shot at the breathtaking Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, the psychedelic influences of the song were augmented by the stunning visual backdrop produced by the iconic Kevin Shirley, serving to highlight the beauty of the music. The live video captures a stratospheric performance by the blues-rock titan, as his virtuoso guitar style and unique technique and flair elevate the evening to an almost heavenly high.

‘Tales Of Time’ will be released on 4/14 via Bonamassa’s J&R Adventures in CD/DVD, CD/BR, vinyl, and digital formats. For more information and to pre-order, please visit https://jbonamassa.com/

“The song has a very Pink Floyd feel,” commented Roy Weisman, CEO of Bonamassa's J&R Adventures label, upon the song’s original release. “The whole ‘Time Clocks’ record is about a journey, and ‘Mind’s Eye’ gives you a fun glimpse of what could be swimming around inside someone’s mind.”

“This live show represents our most progressive and largest production to date, focusing on my most ambitious studio album to date,” adds Bonamassa. “My band was a force of nature on this show, and it truly was a special night.”

Cited by Guitar World as “arguably the world’s biggest blues guitarist,” Bonamassa is known for taking risks and venturing into uncharted territory throughout his wide-ranging career. ‘Time Clocks’ marked his most raw, rocking studio album yet, with American Songwriter sharing, “Bonamassa pushes into fresh territory while staying within a blues-based framework,” and “there is more than enough proof in this sprawling set that Bonamassa doesn’t intend to rest on his laurels or take his star status in the blues-rock genre for granted.”

The release of “Mind’s Eye” coincides with the launch of Bonamassa’s U.S. Spring Tour 2023, which kicked off in Charleston, West Virginia this week. The Spring tour will conclude with Bonamassa’s Keeping The Blues Alive at Sea VIII, set for March 13-17, departing from Miami, Florida to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The festival line-up includes legendary artists like Little Feat, Dion, Bobby Rush, Robert Randolph Band, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Jimmy Vivino, and more. KTBA at Sea is one of the largest fundraisers for Bonamassa’s Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation, aiding in its mission to promote music education by providing grants and resources to schools and musicians in need. Bonamassa also just announced “Keeping the Blues Alive presents: Joe Bonamassa & Friends,” a special two-night performance run with Styx and Don Felder at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on Saturday, August 12th and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Sunday, August 13th.

Bonamassa and his long-time manager Roy Weisman recently launched Journeyman LLC, a full-service artist management, record label, concert promotion, and marketing company that builds awareness for independent artists worldwide. Journeyman provides the infrastructure needed to jumpstart the careers of exceptional independent artists, who are too often overlooked by the major labels or concert promoters while circumventing the resistance of typical “gatekeepers” who don’t support indie acts. “I wanted to take what I've had to learn the hard way to create a company that could make navigating this process a little easier,” Bonamassa explains.

About Joe Bonamassa
Blues-rock superstar Joe Bonamassa is one of the most celebrated performing musicians today. A three-time GRAMMY-nominee, Bonamassa earned his 25th No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart, with his latest studio album ‘Time Clocks.

Bonamassa earned his third GRAMMY nomination with 2020’s ‘Royal Tea,’ recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. The album brought Bonamassa full circle: reconnecting the guitar-slinging kid who stumbled across the best of British-blues in his dad’s vinyl collection to the player he is today. That same year, Bonamassa delivered a groundbreaking live performance from the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, where he played ‘Royal Tea’ in its entirety to over tens of thousands of people across the globe via livestream, recording the full set for the live concert film and album ‘Now Serving: Royal Tea Live From The Ryman,’ released in 2021.

Bonamassa also runs Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, a non-profit that promotes music education and blues music by funding scholarships and providing music education resources to schools in need. To date, the foundation has provided schools and teachers with over $1 Million and has positively impacted 74,000 students in all 50 states.

Created by Bonamassa and Roy Weisman, Keeping The Blues Alive Records (KTBA Records) has released albums for many artists, including musical icon Dion’s ‘Blues With Friends,’ Chicago Queen of Guitar Joanna Connor’s ‘4801 South Indiana Avenue’ and British Blues-Rock star Joanne Shaw Taylor’s ‘Blues From The Hear Live,’ all of which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Charts, while Blues-legend Larry McCray’s ‘Blues Without You’ debuted at No. 2. Bonamassa plans to produce and release more artists on KTBA Records this year.

Journeyman LLC, the newest endeavor between Bonamassa and his long-time manager Roy Weisman, is a vertically integrated music management, concert promotion, and marketing company that builds awareness for great live artists worldwide. After years of perfecting strategies, while building Joe Bonamassa’s career, the company will utilize the same savvy tactics which allowed them to overcome industry barriers that typically held back artists from achieving success. Bonamassa has been keen on using his experience to pay it forward to help other artists navigate the murky industry waters. Consequently, Journeyman sets itself apart in this way as being the true market maker for its artists.

Chase Rice Earns Critical Praise for 'I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell,' Joins "Fox & Friends" and "Tamron Hall" for Performances

From Coors Brewery in Golden, Colo. to Super Bowl Festivities in Phoenix, Ariz.
Plus a Grand Ole Opry Performance in Nashville, Tenn.

Watch Rice Perform on “Fox & Friends” This Friday, Feb. 17
and “Tamron Hall” on Monday, Feb. 20

With Friday’s release of his fourth studio album, I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Chase Rice re-introduced himself to fans and critics alike, earning early praise for the standout project which he will bring to television audiences nationwide via a performance on “Fox & Friends” this Friday, Feb. 17 as well as “Tamron Hall” this coming Monday, Feb. 20.

With Rice having turned inward for inspiration and motivation on the project, that process of “chasing self-respect developed his latest, best album yet,” declares the Tennessean, noting that despite “a glass ceiling both he and the industry had imposed on his career, he's clearly blasted through that impediment” and even remarking of standout track “Bench Seat,” “the touching country ballad could be, by the end of 2023, one of the surprise candidates for Song of the Year.”

Cowboys & Indians further celebrates I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell for its “risk-taking and rule breaking approach,” proclaiming, “that gamble has paid off handsomely, resulting in vulnerable and personal music.” Billboard agrees, noting the album “refines his artistic voice,” creating an offering that is “still propulsive with arena-ready moments, but is laced with deeper, more introspective themes.”

PopCulture asserts that the project is already “the best country album of the year… and everybody’s got to live up to it,” remarking that instead of following the traditional “if it’s not broke don’t fix it” approach, “Rice and his team, somehow, simultaneously broke it AND fixed it — both on purpose.” Leading U.K. music publication Entertainment Focus also has high praise for the “absolute triumph” of an album, labeling it with the first five star review of the year – an honor that took the outlet until September to award in 2022 – and remarking that “it’s a songwriter’s album and a lyricist’s album but it also does all sorts of wonderful things with melodies that are both clever and yet infectious at the same time.”

In celebration of the critically acclaimed release, Rice treated fans across the country to stripped-back, and acoustic live performances of the album, beginning on release day itself. Starting in Golden, Colo. on Friday, Feb. 10, Rice stopped by Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, to perform atop the dugout before visiting the Coors Brewery for a special performance in honor of the album’s cover photo featuring his late father, Daniel Rice, with two Coors Banquets in hand. Rice then traveled to Phoenix, Ariz. to take part in the Super Bowl festivities with an album release show for football fans on Saturday, Feb. 11, before returning home to Nashville to grace the Grand Ole Opry stage last night, Feb. 14.

In addition to treating the full Opry audience to new songs “Bench Seat,” “Way Down Yonder” and recent No. 1 hit “Drinkin' Beer. Talkin' God. Amen.,” Rice also performed a post-Opry show for purchasers of the album, treating those fans to live renditions of album cuts “If I Were Rock & Roll,” “All Dogs Go To Hell,” “Life Part Of Livin'” and “I Hate Cowboys,” plus his triple-Platinum No. 1 "Eyes On You" and the Diamond-certified smash hit "Cruise," which Rice co-wrote.

Soon, fans will get to hear even more of the new music live on Rice’s Way Down Yonder Tour, set to visit iconic venues such as Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Boston’s House of Blues and Athens’ Georgia Theatre beginning March 3.

For all the latest news on his forthcoming music as well as upcoming tour dates, visit ChaseRice.com and follow Rice on FacebookTwitter and TikTok @ChaseRiceMusic and on Instagram @ChaseRice.

About Chase Rice
With nearly 2.4 million albums sold and over 2.4 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With the new album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell crafted in his rural Tennessee home-turned-studio and available everywhere now, his sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life, as evidenced by recent releases “Bench Seat,” “Way Down Yonder,” “I Hate Cowboys” and “Key West & Colorado.” The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, featuring his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen. (feat. Florida Georgia Line)” and Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.” This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, more free; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the triple-Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Platinum-certified “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold out arena tours with Kane Brown and Jason Aldean plus stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice is set to get back on the road this spring in support of the new music. Floya Share "willows" Video — WATCH

FLOYA's new single "willows" mixes rock and EDM.

Watch the video below . The song will be available on DSPs on Friday, February 17.

"'Willows' is about taking risks," the duo states. "It tells of how giving in to a specific moment can transform your life forever. As humans, we often shy away from taking risks once we have experienced harm. But the only way to grow is to stay open."

The song was recorded and produced by Chris Kempe (Embark Audio) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (24-96 Mastering).

Hailing from Germany, Marv Wilder and Phil Bayer found common ground by talking about their childhood influences, namely Peter Gabriel, U2, and Sting. With the vision in mind to fuse a fresh pop x rock sound with the aesthetics of EDM and world music, the pair set out to showcase something fresh and new.

After the successful launch of the single "The Hymn," the song was featured in an official AFL game between Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs on Australian Television, marking quite the achievement for such a new act.

DEFILED Reveals New Album, Shares Pummeling First Single

Tokyo's death metal trailblazer DEFILED will be releasing a brand new album, 'The Highest Level,' on April 28, 2023 via Season of Mist! The album art, tracklist, and details can be found below! To celebrate this announcement, the band is now sharing the pummeling first single, "Off-Limits," along with a music video! The clip is below.

Founding member and frontman Yusuke Hamada comments, "We're very happy to unveil the announcement of our upcoming album, 'The Highest Level.' First of all, please take a look at our PV, 'Off-Limits.' It's the first track from the album and it's a very straightforward tune for headbanging. If you like it, stay tuned for our new album. We think it won't disappoint you. Thank you very much!"

'The Highest Level' can be pre-ordered HERE and pre-saved on streaming services HERE.

Moreover, 2023 marks a seminal year for DEFILED as it celebrates three decades since the release of their first demo and twenty years since the Japanese death dealers formed a union with Season of Mist!

The band will be celebrating this release with a headlining tour of Japan starting from April 28 until it concludes on May 10. Then, then band will join HATE and VADER for three Japanese dates in June. The full itinerary can be found below!

When it comes to straight-forward, bone-crushing death metal, Tokyo’s DEFILED delivers! ‘The Highest Level’ stays true to the traditional death metal formula, while the band’s gritty songwriting approach lends to its authenticity. DEFILED attempts to make no frills with this new full-length, instead speaking directly to the sensibility of old school death metal fanatics who are simply looking for some face-melting violence!

The early 90s was a crucial and formative time for death metal, a genre that started to predominantly emerge in the west with bands like Decide, Cannibal Corpse, Autopsy, Obituary, and Morbid Angel having a stronghold on America while Entombed, Cadaver, Carcass, and many others started to make waves in Europe and the U.K. But across the vast Pacific Ocean, DEFILED was taking a cue from its peers and became one of Asia’s leading purveyors during the genre’s early inception.

Upon releasing a series of demos and EPs during the mid-90s, the Japanese powerhouse finally released its first full-length, ‘Erupted Wrath,’ via Nightfall Records. Upon its release, the band broke out of Asia and started to make its debut in America across the extreme metal fest circuit – performing twice at Milwaukee Metal Fest as well as appearing at November to Dismember in Texas.

The band kept busy during the turn of the century while continuing to build their profile and dominate metal audiences around the globe and by 2003, they formed a union with Season of Mist, where the band has become one of the label’s most consistent death metal mainstays. Since then, the band has released six full-length albums, the majority of which are under the Season of Mist banner.

As the band celebrates thirty years since its legacy was formed, they are ready to unleash another pummelling offering onto the masses. ‘The Highest Level’ still carries the same time-tested formula that Defiled established three decades ago, remaining true to their identity, and still carrying the torch as one of the genre’s founding fathers.

IGNEA Set to Release New Album, 'Dreams of Lands Unseen', via Napalm Records

Official Music Video for First Single

Nomad’s Luck” Out Now!

Watch below

With their incredible talent for storytelling and already impressive recognition as a band-to-watch, Ukrainian upstarts IGNEA are ready to share their highly-anticipated, thrilling next adventure!

Mixing heavy riffs and epic lyricism with symphonic, electronic and multicultural folk elements, the melodic metal five-piece will release their new concept album, 'Dreams of Lands Unseen', on April 28, 2023 via Napalm Records. IGNEA continues their sonic sojourn after previously impressing international metal fanbases with tracks like “Jinnslammer”, “Alga” andDisenchantment”, boasting a noteworthy number of views on YouTube alone and recently receiving honors at the Best Ukrainian Metal Act Awards.

Despite the ongoing brutal war in Ukraine causing immense challenges with their album production, IGNEA were never discouraged while creating the cinematic concept album 'Dreams of Lands Unseen'. They firmly stand strong and proudly present their multifaceted voyage - inviting the listener to follow them into new worlds!

The band’s first single, “Nomad’s Luck”, takes listeners on an energetic journey showcasing IGNEA’s incredible talent for story-telling. The song is only a piece of the brand new concept album, which resembles an epic soundtrack. The Ukrainian band is ready to enchant fans with their powerful performances!

IGNEA about 'Nomad’s Luck':

"'Nomad’s Luck' is about all the dangers of the road. Traveling on her own to the distant corners of the world, Yablonska could have died multiple times, from poisonous plants and diseases to superstitions and taboos of the natives. She could have settled down but her will for discovering new places overshadowed any risks. In this song, it’s as if Yablonska questions herself, how long she would last this way, ‘pushing nomad’s luck’..."

Watch the Music Video for “Nomad’s Luck”

Dive into heavy, score-like sonic worlds and dream of lands unseen with

Ukrainian force IGNEA!

The 10-track concept album, 'Dreams of Lands Unseen', reflects the life of Ukrainian photographer and documentarian Sofia Yablonska, known for traveling to very distant corners of the world while documenting the lives of tribes and natives, which was especially dangerous and uncommon for a woman of her time.

Sonically, IGNEA creates a captivating masterpiece which resembles, thanks in part to diverse genre-influences, an epic soundtrack-like experience. Producing, mixing and mastering was helmed by Max Morton (Jinjer, Morton) whilst Dmitry Kim managed engineering and drum production.

“Dunes” kicks off with the rough screams of highly-gifted singer Helle Bohdanova, standing in contrast to the song’s feathery, dreamy melodies. A perfect picture of the endless Sahara is conjured when hard-hitting riffs combine effortlessly with far-eastern melodies. The track is followed by “Daleki Obriyi” - only one of two songs on the album sung in Ukrainian language, honoring their home country and mother tongue.

Implying distant horizons, the album’s subject, Sofia, is now far away from modern human civilization. Brutal death metal rhythms and shouts crash together with catchy synth passages, representing the beauty of the islands. Ready to move on, Sofia sails to the next country - spending so much time on the water, it becomes her “Incurable Disease”.

Carried away by the gleeful synth-sounds of the sea and turbulent, pounding waves, it creates an extraordinary voyage. Songs like “The Golden Shell” and “Opiumist” - the latter featuring Finnish vocalist Tuomas Saukkonen of Wolfheart - are an ode to Yablonska’s experiences she gathered in Chinese culture. Cheery eastern melodies and brutal growls create the atmosphere of a heavy trip. On Nomad’s Luck, restless guitar riffs mixed with powerful deep shouts create an ominous sound - a symbol of the constant questioning of one’s lifetime.

Vocalist Helle Bohdanova on the album:

"This record is not just our take on the around-the-world adventures of Sofia Yablonskabut also a tribute to one of the greatest Ukrainians of the past century. Her cutting-edge lifestyle, wisdom, savviness and breathtaking stories are so exceptional that they could inspire us to write several more albums. I, myself, am a passionate traveler, and Yablonska’s philosophy is very close to mine on so many levels. Let me invite you on this journey and show you the dreams of lands unseen through Sofia’s eyes…"

Australia's The Beautiful Monument Are "Hellbound" With Video + Single

Australia's beloved alt-rockers The Beautiful Monument, known for their raw and vulnerable lyrics, return with the brand new single and video for "Hellbound" via Greyscale Records.

Watch the video below.

The single, produced by Callan Orr, is the first taste of music since the band's 2019 release I'm The Reaper.

"This track is about perseverance through self doubt," says the band's Lizi Blanco. "One of the most personal cases for me was writing music after being harshly criticized about my writing style and strongly believing that nothing I brought to the table ever did the instruments justice. That doubt started spreading to some people close to me too. But it's so much more than just music, it was everything in life my job, relationships, business ventures, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. I hadn't felt this defeated in such a long time — it's like a disease. No matter how much you try to convince yourself otherwise, you just keep pushing forward, even when others around you also doubt your ability."

She adds, "I did a tarot spread asking my cards for guidance about what I need to write about and get off of my chest. I used Macabre Tarot by Samantha West and you can see the three cards I had pulled in the music video, they're also described in the chorus of the song. Since the last release, we've all changed so much — especially with a pandemic happening just as we were starting to get some momentum happening again. It's a new style and a perfect blend of us as individuals and as a collective. TBM has grown so much over the years and it's just going to keep getting weirder and weirder."

The accompanying music video was directed by Neck Up Collective and shot in CGI.

Blanco shares, "The video is of a person who believes that they are of a higher stature may have an opinion that differs from yours; but it does not give them the authority to tear you down — malicious words spread like a plague. What goes around comes around."

The Beautiful Monument released I'm the Reaper in 2019, showcasing their genre-defying rock aesthetics alongside stylistic innovation. They hook into emotions and fears felt by everyone in the room and offer fans a moment of catharsis and reflection without being alone. It's OK not to be OK — a theme that The Beautiful Monument has carried through their debut and sophomore albums and that seems more poignant now than ever before.

Bury Tomorrow Share "Heretic" Video — WATCH // Band To Return to U.S. For First Tour In Over a Decade This Spring🌞

NEW ALBUM THE SEVENTH SUN OUT MARCH 31 VIA MUSIC FOR NATIONS

BAND TOURING THE U.S. FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2010 THIS SPRING!

British metal sextet Bury Tomorrow have premiered the video for "Heretic," featuring While She Sleeps frontman Loz Taylor. Watch it below.

"Heretic" is another crushing taste of their forthcoming seventh album, the aptly titled The Seventh Sun, releasing March 31 via Music For Nations. Pre-order it here.

Dani Winter-Bates states, "'Heretic' is here, and we knew from day one of recording that this song was something we wanted the world to hear immediately. It's right up there with the most aggressive and visceral tracks on the album, with an inherently dark feel, both lyrically and musically, which allowed us to delve into some of the more brutal elements of The Seventh Sun. All in all, we're extremely proud to showcase this track and can't wait to see what people think."

The track marks the band's first vocal feature since Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta appeared on "301" from the band's 2016 album Earthbound. Winter-Bates recollects, "From the off, we knew this song merited a guest vocal spot, and Loz Taylor of While She Sleeps sprang to our minds straightaway. He is already an absolute legend in our eyes, and working with him on this track has only confirmed that status further. His voice incorporated perfectly and has undoubtedly taken the song to the next level – we couldn't be happier."

The accompanying video was once again created in collaboration with director Matt Sears, who directed the horror-inspired, two-part short film that are the "Abandon Us" and "Boltcutter" music videos. This time around, the video is set at an Illuminati-style meeting, worshipping The Seventh Sun. When one of the members is discovered to be a "heretic" and "wanting out," he desecrates the purity of the club, angering The Seventh Sun, who plunges the meeting into chaos.

Bury Tomorrow will embark on a Spring 2023 headline tour of North America. All dates are below. Get tickets here

The tour marks the first time the band has toured North American since 2010 and it is a welcome return!

It's never too late to be what you might have been. Sometimes you just need a push to take the plunge. Few people would be greater advocates for this truth than Bury Tomorrow.

Faced 18 months ago, following a period of external and internal strife, with the very real reality that it might be time to pack up their successes and close the book on a storied career of 15 years, with their hands forced and backs to the wall Bury Tomorrow instead picked up fate's gauntlet and set about writing the chapter they had always imagined.

The Seventh Sun stands as testament to the bonds and belief required to shape themselves a new reality, a new sound, and a new future.

Refocused yet no more restrained, the album's expanded sonic palette platforms sky-high melodies, layered with textured atmosphere, cloaking an underlying savagery.

The thematic threads weaved through The Seventh Sun are met in kind by a throughline that musically stitches together each of its 12 tracks — an idea that guitarist Kristan Dawson has sought to execute for years. "Every single song sets up the next part of the record," he reveals. "I wanted it to feel like a one long body of work." In doing so, the album takes on its own kind its own sonic story-telling. "I feel like I was musically at where Dan was at lyrically," Dawson suggests.

All of this combines, as Winter-Bates asserts, to exhibit "the best version of Bury Tomorrow people will have heard." Positivity, and possibility, now seems boundless, where not so long ago doubts persisted. "That is as much to do with Tom (Prendergast — keys/vocals) and Ed (Hartwell — guitar) joining the band as it is about the rest of us," Dawson notes. "I think we'd convinced ourselves at times that we weren't friends, when actually, we're family. You can't have this sort of life experience and not be and not be as emotionally connected to each other as we are."

The guitarist points to the album's numerical title, saying, "You know, there is something in the number seven that is very representative of change. There's a renewal aspect to it — seven days in a week, seven hells, and so forth. And on our seventh album, that's the case for us, too. I hope fans hear how much we appreciate the opportunity we have to make music for them. It's an opportunity for us to showcase our love for, put our stamp on, and represent UK metal. What a privilege that is for us, and we're ready to prove that we're doing everything for those right reasons."

Shudder To Think members release debut album under the Quiz Show moniker. Preview the single 'Sound of Kissing’

American indie rock trio Quiz Show - involving members of legendary DC alternative rock band Shudder To Think, Guided By Voices and The Dambuilders- has released their new single 'Sound of Kissing', a powerhouse preview of their their eponymous debut album, due out March 17 via Montclair, NJ-based Magic Door Record Label.

Earlier, the band previewed the tracks 'Dime A Dozen' and 'What If?'.

This electrifying collection of 12 tracks involves Shudder To Think's Chris Matthews and Jesse Krakow, together with drummer Kevin March (Guided By Voices, The Dambuilders). Earlier, bassist Jesse Krakow had taken over from the original bassist Frank Gibbons and, more recently, Joe Billy has replaced Kevin March, whose drumming features throughout this album.

The 'Quiz Show' LP brings together the singles the band recorded with award-winning producer Ray Ketchem (Guided By Voices, Luna, Versus, Elk City, Gramercy Arms) between 2017 and 2020 at his Magic Door Recording Studio in Montclair, NJ. Ketchem also re-mastered these tracks for this release. Interesting fact: through this process, Matthews discovered that he enjoys singing as much as playing guitar.

With Ketchem on board, Quiz Show released a string of singles - songs of protest, friendship and frustration - to a growing number of listeners. Tapping the energy of punk rock with its loud guitars and driving rhythms, the vocals strive to capture the emotional fervour of punky garage rock. Pushing boundaries with rhythms, arrangements, chord structures and vocals that expand from straight-ahead power to music, they weave together different influences, including classic rock, prog and alternative, to create complex and beautiful in unexpected ways.

"This is our first album! Quiz Show has been making music since 2017 and put out most of the songs on this release as singles between 2017 and 2020. We are releasing them now after remixing and remastering all of the songs to freshen them up and so they can document the origin story of Quiz Show in a single package. This release also brings these songs under the amazing umbrella of the Magic Door record label," says Chris Matthews.

"Quiz Show songs come together when ideas voiced through the guitars are set to rhythms constructed on the bass and drums. Lyrics come after the melodies, which themselves often emerge while Chris is driving around. These songs were created in the in-between spaces of complicated lives. We cherish this work and the feelings it describes. 'Sound of Kissing' was built this way and, like most of our songs, it uses lyrics to reflect a dissatisfaction with the limits on love, money, and time."

As of February 14, 'Sound of Kissing' is available via Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp, where the full 'Quiz Show' LP (out March 17) can already be pre-ordered with three tracks available as instant-grat downloads.

Through Fire fans, rejoice! The Omaha-based hard rock quartet has today announced their new forthcoming album Devil's Got You Dreamin' out on April 21 via Sumerian Records. In celebration of the news, Through Firehas dropped a new single and lyric video for the track "Lose It". Speaking on today's album announcement, Justin McCaincomments:

"I started working on songs for this album during the pandemic. This was obviously a crazy time for everyone, as we all tried adapting to a new normal. I fell into a bit of a depression being so isolated but that definitely fueled the writing process. I feel like this is such an honest album... real emotions that were buried for so long finally started screaming out through these songs. When we started recording, I could hear the raw, powerful truth in Grant's voice, he had such conviction, more so than ever. I think people will really resonate and connect with this album. I'm so proud of what we were able to capture together and we can't wait to share it with the world!!"

Hard rock should exist outside of the system. It should break the mold. It should burn through expectations. Through Fire most certainly does. The Omaha, NE quartet—Justin McCain [lead guitar & songwriter], Grant Joshua Kendrick [lead vocals], Tyler Halverson [bass], and Zack Halverson [drums]—fuses hard-hitting riffs, lyrics that truly resonate and contagious melodies that are unforgettable. As a result, this impactful, immediate, and infectious fusion defies categorization and incites energy as boundless as the style itself. Additionally, the approach transformed the quartet into a phenomenon with chart-topping radio successes and over 275 million streams worldwide.

Now, the same fire fuels the band’s third full-length for Sumerian Records. “This album takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions". We've all been through the fiery trials of life, this album aims to empower us all to get up out of the pit of despair and be victorious over our difficult circumstances. "Recording these songs was truly therapeutic, going in the studio to unleash every raw, honest feeling imaginable while enduring the heat of life's flames and heartache was powerful. This album brought us healing and we know from experience, we can all rise above whatever life throws our way.”

TYPE O NEGATIVE's Kenny Hickey comments, "The first casualty of this album was the record company - which promptly went under after its release. Soon after, Peter passed, and then even the rehearsal studio it was written and developed in was burnt to the ground by Hurricane Sandy.  As the black cloud continued its relentless path over Type ODead Again appeared and disappeared from the streaming platforms for years.  Now that the storm has passed we have some slight hope of establishing a small illusion of permanence with this final release of Dead Again. We are sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused you."

Dead Again was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Mike Marciano in 2006 at System Two Studios in Brooklyn, NY. The album was produced by Peter Steele and Josh Silver who also aided the mixing of the record.

AMERICAN JETSET Celebrates VALENTINE'S DAY with Tales of Bondage, Revenge, and Murder on New EP, 'Love Kills'!

Baltimore, MD based, Heavy Rock Band AMERICAN JETSET has released the official lyric video for "Black Hearts & Bloody Bruises," off of their newly released EP, Love Kills. Written by the band and produced by Tony Corelli and front-man Ian Kaine MacGregor, Love Kills was engineered by Tony Correlli and recorded at Deep End Studio in Baltimore.

"LOVE KILLS is a return to the dark and heavy vibe of our first record while showcasing the evolution of our sound and aesthetic. These songs are sleaze rock goth pop anthems and we can’t wait to hear our fans singing along when we’re on tour in US & Europe this year.” - IAN KAINE MACGREGOR (Vocals, Guitar)

Catch AMERICAN JETSET Live:
04/13 @ Whisky a Go Go - West Hollywood, CA w/Enuff Z’Nuff
04/27 @ Tally Ho Theater - Leesburg, VA w/Wig Wam
10/06 @ Whisky A Go GO - West Hollywood, CA w/Andy McCoy

Just when you thought it was safe to board, American Jetset, Baltimore’s antiheroes, nose down into darker and more dangerous depths, as they unleash their capricious beast of an EP, Love Kills. It’s the soundtrack to the slasher flick in your head – the score to a horror film that never existed.

The disillusioned descendants of the Sunset Strip–era are creating a new arc in the evolution of 80s-inspired hard rock by animating a hybrid of lyrical and musical influences from Alice Cooper and Motley Crüe to AFI and Alkaline Trio. These sleaze rock goth pop anthems will make the Love Kills EP an instant Jetset classic as it follows three nominations for Washington Area Music Awards for their previous release.

In 2022, the Jetset crew stormed through iconic venues alongside hard rock legends, including sold-out shows with Stephen Adler (Guns N' Roses) and Stephen Pearcy (Ratt) at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go. Their arena rock hooks and theatrical live show have earned the band extraordinary reviews and international airplay, all while developing a rabid fanbase in the US, UK, and abroad.

The band is back with Love Kills and out for blood in 2023. The caged adrenaline and rage of the EP is a wild ride on the darker side, and will no doubt be heard blasting from speakers wherever the real Monsters roam. The release is now available and you can see American Jetset live in when they hit the road in the U.S. and Europe.

NEW SINGLE/VIDEO FROM THE JEREMY EDGE PROJECT, “CORAL CASTLE” TO BE RELEASED ON FEBRUARY 14th

The newest single from The Jeremy Edge Project’s double album release, ‘Saints and Souls Vol 1 & 2,’ is hitting all streaming platforms in February, with a new music video dropping February 14th.

Entitled “Coral Castle,” the song was recorded in PA and NJ and was mixed by Kevin "Caveman" Shirley (known for his work with Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Joe Bonamassa, Iron Maiden and more) and features Edge's bluesy "Robin Trower-esque" style in a more ethereal vibe - flanked by funky rhythm section grooves and haunting mellotron strings.

Edge elaborates: "This song was inspired by artists like Sade, Maxi Priest and Seal who utilize a hint of jazz and blues to make haunting yet grooving songs you can get entranced by. It's also Hendrix-ish and 70s rock guitar driven. I used a great Jimi Hendrix/Robin Trower sounding effect pedal sent to me by Chris of ‘Pedal Pawn,’ the ‘Gypsy Vibe’ that just replicates that classic sound so well.

“I love trying to create new things with a ‘melting pot’ approach to songs.
This song is the most laid back on the record and although there are several stories going in my head about where the lyrics are coming from it mostly deals with hoping people leave abusive, harmful or simply toxic and unhealthy situations. Many times, they never do.”

“The title and chorus were inspired by the old "Coral Castle" in Florida built by one man who seemed to defy the laws of physics.

It's a sad but intriguing story that borders on the supernatural and I just thought it a great concept to try to reference here. Kevin Shirley was so kind enough to mix a couple of tracks for our record in between large album projects and I just love the way it came out."

You can also pick up 180g Vinyl and CD Copies of "Saints and Souls Volumes 1 & 2 at Deko Entertainment - https://www.dekoentertainment.com/the-jeremy-edge-project

And lastly, look for a string of East Coast dates for The Jeremy Edge Project to be announced soon.

Withered Hand is the nom de plume of Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Dan Willson, originally hailing from London. Collaborating with Mark Freegard (The Breeders, Del Amitri, New Model Army, Lush, Pale Saints) on the radio edit, this is the first single from his 'How To Love' album, officially released on April 28.

Produced, recorded and mixed by renowned producer Tony Doogan (Mogwai, David Byrne, Teenage Fanclub, The Twilight Sad, Belle & Sebastian, The Delgados) at Castle of Doom Studios in Glasgow, the new album features guest appearances by King Creosote and Mercury-nominated English songwriter Kathryn Williams.

'Waking Up' is every bit as beautiful as his acclaimed 'New Gods' LP (2014), which was released on vinyl via Slumberland Records and featured Scottish luminaries from Belle & Sebastian, Frightened Rabbit and The Vaselines, as well as Pam Berry of seminal 90’s US noisepop band Black Tambourine, propelling Withered Hand into the charts. On the new album, he continues to live up to his reputation as one of Scotland’s most gifted songwriters.

Dan Willson notes, “It’s hard to put down your worries when you’re so used to carrying them around that they seem like part of who you are. This song is about taking a long hard honest look in the mirror and about the unfolding process of trying to trim my rudder a little every day to do something about what I see there. In my mind I was channeling a Street Legal-era Dylan vibe with that strident chord pattern and Pete’s swirling Hammond organ and brass and the band bring a lot of joy to this arrangement, we had fun with it".

“I’d put the pain down, I’m afraid I won’t see mercy
Teach me the song the new morning sings”

Willson started writing songs and singing in his thirties following the birth of his first child and the death of a close friend. With a wayward tenor and unaffected charm onstage, he has come to be celebrated as a songwriter and lyricist of rare wit and remarkable honesty. With songs picked up by MTV and cult series 'Skins', he's gained a legion of fans including Jarvis Cocker and Rolling Stone USA, who deemed him an Artist to Watch.

As of February 14, 'Waking Up' is available everywhere digitally, includingApple Music,Spotify and Bandcamp, where the'How To Love' album can also be obtained directly from the artist.

Having started the new year with a sold-out show at London’s Lexington, more 2023 shows are being added. Withered Hand will play two album launch shows - on April 20th atManchester's Gulliversand April 28th atEdinburgh's Liquid Room, involving special guests.

Drum tracking for Exul, the fourth long-player from Australian extreme progressive metallers NE OBLIVISCARIS, started in March 2020. There is an ominous tone to that date: March 2020. The pandemic demarcation line. That month, Daniel Presland laid down his drums in Nashville, Tennessee, with American producer Mark Lewis. As flight cancellations increased and borders shuttered, Presland made it home literally hours before Australia closed theirs. Lewis, guitarist Benjamin Baret and bassist Martino Garattoni weren’t as lucky. They were due to land in Australia in the days that followed to continue tracking, but were forced to remain overeseas indefinitely. With recording studios shuttered throughout Melbourne, a slow, tedious, life-altering two-year grind to complete Exul ensued for NE OBLIVISCARIS

What should have been the continued upward swing after 2017’s critically acclaimed Urn turned into the most fraught moment of NE OBLIVISCARIS’s career. Clean vocalist and violinist Tim Charles says the period “came close to breaking us completely.” It was a time filled with death, relationships breaking down, despair and financial loss. Presland, NE OBLIVISCARIS’s drummer since 2005, amicably parted ways in early 2022, throwing yet another wrench into the band’s plans.

There are, however, happy accidents scattered throughout the creation of Exul. The extra, unexpected downtime allowed the band to fine-tune and even re-write parts previously set in stone before the pandemic. Charles’s violin solo at the end of “Graal” is a prime example: His original idea wasn’t fully realized until he revisited the song in early 2021 and promptly came up with a new part. It was a classic “a-ha” moment that improved the song.

“Getting an opportunity to have a song mostly done for a year or so and then go back to it, find what you loved about it the first time and maybe even improve it in some ways was a nice silver lining from all the delays,” says Charles. “I think because we had so many delays that were out of our control, we were even more determined to take our time to make sure when the time came to record and to mix, that we ensured it was the absolute best it could be in every way.”

Seven additional studios and three more countries later, Exul was finally mixed and mastered in July 2022.

The album personifies NE OBLIVISCARIS’s distinctive, boundary-pushing ethos. The band’s trademark blend of emotion and beauty is as towering as ever, if not even more compelling, particularly how Charles’s violin lines carefully weave their way around Baret and fellow guitarist Matt Klavins’ riffing. The duality of Charles’s clean vocals and Xenoyr’s growls remains the narrative anchor, elevating songs that emanate sophistication and are a masterclass in composition.

“Our approach is always the same,” says Charles, “which is essentially to just write and see what comes out. Exul definitely had its challenges during the songwriting process. Part of the beauty of how our music comes together is that we are quite different individuals bringing an array of ideas together. From there, we work out how to combine them into something that is seamless and beautiful to us. We were determined to make this our best and most complete album yet, which definitely resulted in it taking longer. But we are so proud of this album and it’s exciting to finally share it with the world.”

The album’s centerpiece is the two-part “Misericorde I – As the Flesh Fails” and “Misericorde – Anatomy of Quiescence.” (A NE OBLIVISCARIS album is not complete without a multi-part epic!) According to Charles, Part II began by taking a song they thought was finished (Pt I) and asking, “What if after that…?” The band then wrote a section that took the piece in a new direction and what was a 7 minute song, became an almost 17 minute 2 part epic.

“The bulk of Part I was written more so by Benji and Martino,” notes Charles. “You can hear the very guitar-driven approach present throughout that track. Part II, by contrast, was written more so by myself in collaboration with others and the emphasis changes more towards expansive solos and slow-developing sections that build towards the epic finale. These two tracks are a great example of how it’s the combination of our different strengths as songwriters spread across an album that results in the sound that is 'NE OBLIVISCARIS'.”

Charles’s violin parts, whether on “Misericorde II,” “Equus” or “Suspyre,” exude confidence. The instrument has always been central to the band’s sound. On Exul, Charles’s violin playing is taken to another level. “I think that over the years, in regards to how my violin interacts within NeO’s music, I’ve simply continued to add more strings to my bow, so to speak,” he says. “With ‘Exul,’ I definitely explored even further the use of layers of violin and viola parts to create a more textured feel compared to other albums. ‘Mesericorde II’ was definitely a bit of a breakthrough song for me, where I felt I could utilize the strings in a way that hadn’t been done in NeO’s music before. In the end, whatever serves the song best is always the aim and having more ways of creating music makes it easier to serve the song.”

The Exul album title came to Xen when he was summing up the album’s feeling musically and lyrically. Coincidentally, it matched the experience of most people during the pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. “I think everyone at some point has felt at odds with the world around them, felt alone, cast out, or misunderstood,” says Xen. “Exul felt right to use in a broader sense and as a lone word, for we each have our own history and a story of exile.

“Overall, there’s a darker core to this album, perhaps more ominous than previous releases,” he continues. “However abstract the lyrics are, they involve some form of unwanted departure — all journeys into torment, passion, longing and even despair. They touch on the process of physical and psychological destruction that comes from that sense or reality of being exiled, whether forced from one’s land, ostracised from a community, shunned by a religion, or even simply being treated differently for being who they are.”

Touring will factor heavily into NE OBLIVISCARIS’s 2023 plans. The band will embark on headlining tours worldwide that will hit new territories. As luck would have it, the return to live show activity will coincide with the release of Exul and the band’s 20th anniversary. As one of Australia’s leading extreme metal exports, there is a distinct sense of gratitude from Charles and his bandmates. They’re looking forward to sharing it with fans when they resume touring.

“Simply getting the opportunity to perform music that we’ve written on stages around the world to people that genuinely love and connect with it,” finishes Charles when talking about NE OBLIVISCARIS’s 20-year journey. “There is something incredibly special about the energy that exists between an artist and audience at a concert and it’s an honor to get the opportunity to spend 2023 connecting with people in that way once more.”

Jody and The Jerms present 'Started Something', first sugar-spun pop delight from new 'Wonder' LP

"It’s almost like power pop, a bit Bangles... or jangle pop. Lovely" ~ Radcliffe & Maconie, BBC 6 Music

"Jody had to be coerced into singing, and she does it really well. It's good isn't it!" ~ Janice Long - BBC Wales

"Aglow in sugar-spun pop confections and unforgettable harmonies that conjures the jangling heyday of The Bangles and the buoyant rhythms of The Regrettes... Jody and the Jerms summon the summer in the most effortless of ways" ~ Stereo Embers Magazine

"All exquisite... Breathtaking stuff" ~ Oxfordshire Music Scene

"At the top of their A-game... a welcome and liberating flame" ~ Nightshift Magazine

"Rich and diversely entertaining... they sparkle continually with ambition and poise"~ Liverpool Sound & Vision

UK indie pop outfit Jody and the Jerms are hot to trot with their new single 'Started Something', the first taste of their forthcoming full-length album 'Wonder', out in April via their own JATJ Records imprint.

Their third album to date, this new collection of 12 tracks was produced, mixed and mastered by RIDE frontman Mark Gardener at his OX4 Sound Studio in Oxfordshire. Loaded with a healthy dose of melodic chrystallised indie pop that is heartfelt and honest, they present endearing jangle-pop songs that are both evocative and relatable.

Championed by the late Janice Long at BBC, among others, Jody and the Jerms is a collective revolving around Jody Jeger (vocals) and Niall Jeger (guitars and vocals) with other band members coming from The Anydays, who have graced the pages of NME, played with Radiohead and Supergrass, and were featured on Mark Radcliffe at BBC Radio 2.

'Wonder' follows their ‘Flicker’ album (2022) and debut album 'Deeper' (2020). Here, the Jerms deliver 12 jangle-pop gems, crafted with a sanguine innocence and vivid relatability. Warmly nostalgic and graced by Jody’s sweet-natured vocal, the band's output radiates somewhere between The Go-Go's, Blondie, The Bangles and The Darling Buds.

Formed in Oxford in 2019, Jody and the Jerms have been writing, recording and performing their blend of melodic and uplifting indie/ alt rock ever since, having enjoyed national airtime on Radio X (UK), Sirius XM (USA) and RTVE (Spain), as well as BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, BBC Wales and BBC Ulster.

Despite the fact that Jody had never sung before joining the Jerms, the band has quickly developed into the real deal with last year’s 'Flicker' album, which received strong accolades with its modern twist on 90s influences, followed by a loaded UK tour and festivals over the summer.

Jody and the Jerms' sound harks back to those untouchable days indie music enjoyed in the 90s, possessing seemingly effortlessness melodies and choruses which embed themselves in your head for days.

"'Started Something' is about a chance meeting of two people which is so exciting and special that it just knocks them off their feet. Everything between them just clicks and fizzes with passion and verve. There are many reasons why they shouldn’t start something in this dreary world , with all their day in day out humdrum responsibilities, so they imagine that the world has stopped turning for everyone else, whilst they can have their time together," says Jody.

Niall Jeger adds, "Musically, this started as a riff on an acoustic, as many of our songs do, which Rob followed on piano and the rest of the song came together really quickly".

As of February 15, 'Started Something' is available on BandcampSpotifyApple Music and other fine digital music platforms. The 'Wonder' album will be released on April 21 and available on limited edition CD, pretty pink vinyl and digitally.

In support of this release, Jody and the Jerms will be performing for select UK dates with more dates to be added. Further info can be found at https://jodyandthejerms.com/live

Earth Groans Announce "Tongue Tied" EP + Share "Overgrown" Video

STREAM "OVERGROWN"

EARTH GROANS ANNOUNCE TONGUE TIED EP OUT MARCH 3 VIA SOLID STATE RECORDS

South Dakota metalcore band Earth Groans will release the Tongue Tied EP on March 3 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it here

Today, the band has shared the video for "Overgrown."

Watch the unsettling yet thought-provoking clip for this ferocious new track below.

"Sometimes our 'hell' is just the waiting room to prepare us for our 'heaven,'" the band says.

As the vision of frontman Jeremy Schaeffer, Earth Groans have tallied millions of streams and built a devout fanbase — and the project has truly found its voice with the forthcoming Tongue Tied  EP. The title holds a special significance for Schaeffer, as it tells his story quite literally.

"I was actually born tongue tied," he states. "I had skin all the way up to my teeth, and I couldn't move my tongue at all. They performed the surgery right away and freed my tongue completely. Throughout my life, it has been a metaphor. I've always had a hard time fitting into the community I'm in. This whole record refers to a person finding his or her voice. I found my voice through music. It's how I've been able to communicate what's in my heart and find my true calling. My dad always said, 'Ironically, you don't talk a whole lot, but your music is really loud.'"

Earth Groans initially incited shockwaves through heavy music out of South Dakota with the Renovate EP in 2017. They buzzed out of the local scene and clawed their way into the international consciousness with the Rahab EP [2018], Prettiest of Things EP [2020], Waste EP [2020], and The Body EP [2021]. The latter gained traction on streaming platforms as the band earned plugs from HM MagazineThe PRPLambgoat, and many more. Along the way, they performed with the likes of August Burns Red on the popular Christmas Burns Red Festival and packed venues on tour coast-to-coast. Working with producer Ryan Leitru [For Today], Earth Groans honed their sound for 2023.
