Stone Broken Issue Digital Deluxe Version of "Revelation" + Share "Stronger" Video

STONE BROKEN RELEASE DIGITAL DELUXE EXPANDED EDITION OF LATEST STUDIO ALBUM REVELATION TODAY, FEBRUARY 10

Stone Broken decided to make everything bigger and bolder for studio album three, Revelation, which was released via Spinefarm in April of last year.

Now, this Midlands quartet has opted to go bigger still!

Today, February 10, the band is releasing an expanded digital version of Revelation, complete with revised cover artwork plus seven extra tracks. These new additions — a combination of covers, acoustic versions and live in the studio recordings — take the overall number of songs to 18. Get it here.

The band has also just dropped the video for "Stronger." Watch it below.

"This is the sound of one of the UK's brighter prospects looking to the wider world and dreaming big" is how Classic Rock described the original version of Revelation, produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Bury Tomorrow) and mixed by Clint Murphy (The Hunna, Enter Shikari). The extra recordings, meanwhile, were worked on by the musicians themselves — the addition of the Miley Cyrus cover reflecting the breadth of their collective musical taste.

"We are pleased to bring the Revelation experience to a whole new level with the digital release of the expanded version," says frontman Rich Moss. "We spent a lot of time crafting the album, but also created alternative 're-imagined' versions of some of the songs, which we are just as proud of. We also got to show our appreciation of other artists with our interpretations of their work, one of which is a cover of 'Crawling' by Linkin Park; that band had a massive impact on me growing up, so it seemed right to pay tribute to Chester [Bennington]. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it."

STONE BROKEN Release Video for New Single "The Devil You Know"

New Album 'Revelation' Set For Release on April 22

Stone Broken have released the video for their brand new single "The Devil You Know". Watch it below.

For studio album three, Revelation, Stone Broken decided it was time to turn up the volume — to build on past glories with the intention of making everything bigger, bolder, and generally the best version of Stone Broken there has been.

Enter new track "The Devil You Know" — a joyous earworm you'll be sure to have on repeat.

'Revelation' is due for release on April 22, 2022 via Spinefarm. As young performers with broad musical taste, the Midlands four-piece (together since 2013) have long held the desire to add other elements to their music, to give a more contemporary, commercial sheen to hard rock traditions, but it's only now, with Revelation, that they've been able to bring these instincts fully into play.

Working closely with producer and former SikTh guitarist Dan Weller, whose CV includes the likes of Enter Shikari and Dream State, the band was determined to raise the bar right across the board, from pre-production through to final mix, with anything even vaguely hinting of cliché immediately cast aside.

Album pre-orders are live here. Special bundle options are available, including t-shirts, CDs, red cassettes, and limited vinyl variants. All vinyl and CD formats come with exclusive bonus material.

Meanwhile, Stone Broken’s UK headline tour will take place later this month, running through to May 2022.

The ‘Revelation Tour’ sees Stone Broken take another big step up, playing larger venues nationwide, including performances at the 1,500 capacity Electric Ballroom, London and Institute, Birmingham.

Stone Broken Drop "Black Sunrise" Video — WATCH

NEW ALBUM REVELATION ARRIVES APRIL 15 VIA SPINEFARM

STONE BROKEN have shared the video for the new single "Black Sunrise." Watch it below.

Frontman Rich Moss says, "'Black Sunrise' explores the darker side of portrayal."

He continues, "Sometimes people only want to show a certain side of themselves, maybe even an exaggerated version or completely fictitious personality. The truth is, it's going to be hard to keep up the act. The mental impact will ultimately take its toll. This is where the title stems from: a 'Black Sunrise' doesn’t exist; it's the opposite of reality."

Stone Broken will release their dynamic new studio album Revelation via Spinefarm on April 15. Pre-order it here.

Borrn from a desire to push themselves into new realms of musical creativity, Revelation sees Stone Broken storming into rock's big leagues.

Watch the video for the title track and first single below.

Having partnered with award-winning producer and former SikTh guitarist Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Holding Absence, Bury Tomorrow) back in early 2019, both artist and producer hit it off right from the get-go. Working remotely with Weller between Walsall and London, the band shared lots of new ideas, experimenting with aspects of electronic sound design and fusing different strands of their more straight-ahead hard rock with darker electro elements — something frontman Rich Moss and drummer/backing vocalist Robyn Haycock had long wanted to try.

Revelation is an album both for Stone Broken fans and for the band itself. And between the enforced COVID break and these exhilarating new elements that have been iincorporated into the music, the band and their Broken Army are ready to take on the world.

"We had a completely different approach on this record compared to our previous records," says Moss. "We wanted to try everything. We wanted to experiment, we wanted to build our sound from the ground up and totally re-imagine the 'Stone Broken Sound' — but without losing what we already had. It wasn't easy, not in the slightest. But we managed to break down a few walls to get there, and along the way had some awesome discoveries, like [drummer] Robyn now having more vocal duties across the whole record. It really works well and brings a whole new dynamic to our songs."
